Chapter 3 : A secret i cant hide anymore Part 3
"Since the Sadie Hawkins Ball huh?!"said Lincoln sitting in his bed thinking at what Haiku told him.
"Well.. i guess i have to give her an answer, making her wait to much for one, could spell some serious trouble later on"said Lincoln getting up from his bed changing in the same clothes he wore at that double date he had with him Ronnie Anne his sister Lori and her boyfriend Bobby.
"Okay... its showtime"said Lincoln as he finished changing. Lincoln dosent like to change his outift that much, but he cant look like a total idiot for Haiku.
Wait why is he changing if he is going to give her only a simple answer he is not asking her to marry him, but not thinking to much about it Lincoln was ready to leave and meet with Haiku. Luck was on his side since he knew where she lives from his younger sister Lucy.
Lincoln is at the front door ready to leave when...
"Hold it!"his sisters called there brother all together as they are curently watching the Love Boat there favorite show.
"Hey girls"said Lincoln trying to play cool with them.
"Lincoln? One stop speaking like that with us and two just where do you think youre going dressed up like that?"asked Lori.
"Well... i have something important to do so i decided to look good"said Lincoln.
"So you chose the outfit i asked you to wear at that double date we had with Bobby and Ronnie Anne?"asked Lori.
"Ohh come on, whats wrong with trying to look good?"asked Lincoln his older sister.
"Yeah give it a rest Lori, if he want to look wear that monkey outfit then so be it"said Lynn jr.
"Monkey outfit? What part of my clothes look like a monkey outfit to you?"asked Lincoln.
"Youre face , the moment you wear them they turn into a monkey outift"said Lynn jr.
"Hahaha, so funny i forgott to laugh"said Lincoln leaving the house pretty upset.
We see after a little whille Lincoln at Haiku's house ready to ring the door bell button. Making sure one more time he looks good Lincoln pressed the door bell button waiting for someone to answer.
Not after a long wait, the door opens with Haiku in front of Lincoln.
"Lincoln?What are you doing here and why are you dressed up like that?"asked Haiku not expecting him of all people.
"Hi... well i was wondering if you dont mind of course if i take you out on a date before giving my answer to youre question"said Lincoln that surprised Haiku alot.
Haiku was lost of word until she recovered from the shock starting to speak again.
"Lincoln... well dont just stand there like a idiot come inside"said Haiku blushing a little with him entering her house blushing also a little.
Not after entering Haiku's house Lincoln was punched in the shoulder by none other then Haiku.
"Ouch, why did you punched me?"asked Lincoln.
"Because i never thought youl be such a big idiot"said Haiku to Lincoln.
"Huh? Why?"asked Lincoln.
"Because you could have asked me out on a date when we had that talk at school. I would have time to prepare myself"said Haiku.
"Huh?Ohh...yeah sorry about that, i guess i am a idiot"said Lincoln realizing his mistake.
"But... but i am really happy you asked me out, nobody ever asked me out"said Haiku.
"Really?!"said Lincoln having a hard time buying that.
"Yes the only dates i had were with Silas but not like actual dates, we spent our time in the goth club pretty much, you cant call that dates"said Haiku.
"True"said Lincoln until...
"Wait did you just said you went out with Silas?"asked Lincoln fully surprised at what he just heard from Haiku.
"Yeah, yeah i really did... but that is all in the past now and forever"said Haiku looking a bit sad , which Lincoln noticed that and decided to change the subject pressuring to much the subject can be really bad.
"Anyway i really dont mind waiting for you to change and all that"said Lincoln.
"Yeah, i will thank you Lincoln"said Haiku bowing her head down to him.
"Hey its cool no need to do that were friends right?!"said Lincoln not feeling comfortable with a girl bowing her head dowen in front of him.
"Yeah, youre right... but who know maybe after this you and me will be much more then friends"said Haiku leaving Lincoln alone embarrased at what she just said to him.
"More the friends huh?!" said Lincoln to himself.
Whille waiting for Haiku Lincoln looks around and noticed her house is pretty and much modern then his house who pretty old. He even started to wonder how her room looks like.
Is it goth or normal? Does she sleeps on a coffin like are the questions Lincoln was struggling to find an answer until...
"Sorry for the wait"said Haiku returning back to the living room after finishing changing that took not that much.
"No worr...said Lincoln losing his words the moment he saw Haiku agin.
Haiku this time was wearing a pink dress with pink , shoes and her hair was different , he hair was tied up in a ponytail instead of her classic long black hair that was never changed like in forever.
Lincoln was wondering now why is she a goth girl anyway, she looks so much better in normal girl clothes.
"Lincoln?Earth to Lincoln are you okay?"asked Haiku coming closer to his face making the situation for Lincoln more embarrasing and akward.
"Huh?Ohh...yeah sorry i just didnt knew what to say. I never seen you look even more beautifull"said Lincoln blushing and embarrassed saying these lame corny lines he wanted so bad to crawl into a hole and die in there.
Haiku on the other hand didnt knew what to say back to him blushing also until...
"T...thank you"said Haiku looking down at the ground to hide her embarassement.
"Right... then should we go?"asked Lincoln.
"S...sure"said Haiku.
The scene changes with Haiku and Lincoln in front at Jean Juan's French Mex restaurant, the same one he went with Lori , Bobby and Ronnie Anne.
"Ready?"asked Lincoln offering his hand.
"Ready"said Haiku taking his hand still blushing a little.
Not very far away Silas was walking down the road until he noticed Haiku looking different with Lincoln? Silas wonders why Haiku is with Lincoln a date? maybe, maybe not.
But to be sure he decided to spy on them to understand what the heck is happening.
Silas hidding behind a plant saw so far Lincoln with Haiku having dinner , laughing and so on. We spot Silas later on still spying on Lincoln and Haiku as they were walking the Royal Woods Park.
Lincoln decided that now is the time to tell Haiku his answer since everything went well so far.
"Haiku can we sit at that nearby bench?I need to tell you something"said Lincoln.
"Sure"said Haiku.
Sitting down on the bench next to Lincoln, Haiku wondered if he is about to ask her out, she really hoped that would be the case. Silas was still spying on them wondering why they stopped sitting down the bench.
"So listen... you asked me if i had a girlfriend and if you want me to be youre boyfriend?And my answer is no when you said if i had a girlfriend"said Lincoln looking straight into Haiku's eyes.
"After some thinking my answer is yes. Yes i want to go out with you Haiku"said Lincoln.
Haiku was almost about to cry and speak when Silas tired of waiting decided to confront them and appears in front of them, surprising Lincoln and Haiku.
"Silas?!"said Lincoln surprised to see him until...
"What are you doing here?"asked Haiku speaking this time looking really upset seeing Silas.
"I could ask you the same thing. Is this what i think it is?!"said Silas to Haiku.
"Yeah it is, this is my first real date with Lincoln my new boyfriend"said Haiku looking really serious at Silas.
Lincoln was really happy to hear Haiku said that he is her boyfriend.
But wait how did things ended up this way?wondered Lincoln inside his head.
"So... is there no forgiving for what i did?"asked Silas not surprised at what Haiku told him, he kinda expected her she will find a new boyfriend sooner or later but Lincoln of all people was what Silas was saying inside his mind.
"No. I tried but i cant just forgive you cheating me with Stella"said Haiku.
What? Silas cheated Haiku with Stella?. Hearing that Lincoln was even more surprised when he just heard what Haiku just said.
"I see"said Silas looking at Lincoln this time.
"Loud be carefull, this girl will hurt like she did with me just now"said Silas looking serious at Lincoln only to receive a slap from Haiku for what Silas just said.
"I heard enough, Lincoln can you take me home?"asked Haiku almost crying.
"S...sure"said Lincoln leaving with Haiku , looking one more time behind at Silas.
Flashback ends...
"Well thats the story"said Lincoln leaving the living room.
His sisters lost all there words from what they just heard. Mostly Lucy understanding why her best friend Haiku looked at first sad and now really happy.
Meanwhille at Silas's House...
Silas was in his room on the floor thinking at what just happened the last few days. He barely went to the goth club and even spoke with everyone else at school until...
"No, i wont accept this, mark my words Lincoln Loud i will break you up with my girl Haiku even if this is gonna be the last thing i have to do"said Silas standing up on his feet.
