Dating Disapproval!

Disclaimer: So thanks to a review of 'In Space' that I watched on Youtube recently, I finally sat down and started watching it for the first time in years and after seeing the episode where Zhane and Astronema/Karone get all first grade crush like on one another, I had this idea come to me. And to Dr.-Fanmai-Lover, I honestly didn't understand a word you typed. I don't know if you intentionally spelled that bad or what but I just didn't understand.

Summary: In a world where Astronema chose to give Zhane another shot and leading to the two to secretly date, one particular individual's none too happy once he finds out! Thus, leading to a few others to find out as well!

"Have the two of you completely taken loss of your senses!?" Bellowed out Ecliptor towards a pair of individuals known as Astronema and Zhane.

One being his adopted daughter and the other basically being the enemy. Though by that depiction, both were supposed to be enemies as well! "Uhh… You kinda already asked that before." Zhane told him and had to flinch back when the dark warrior essentially glared at him despite his face being unable to make any kind of movements.

"It bore repeating." Ecliptor told the boy darkly.

"Exactly how long has this been going on?" Wondered TJ.

Ironically, the first of the Space Rangers to break out of their stupified shock at finding out about one of their own dating the enemy! Especially when said enemy is Andros' own sister! The team had been expecting a full on fight to occur when Zhane showed up with both Ecliptor and Astronema in tow but had effectively been silenced into shock when instead of attacking them, began to berate Zhane and Astronema! "Yes, that is an excellent question."

The artificial being trained his eyes on his adopted daughter and the boy with her, whom he'd caught in his Princess' personal chambers! Doing things his Princess wasn't ready for for at least another 100 years, damnit! Both looked away from Ecliptor, not wanting to really face up to his glare one bit! "Well? We're waiting." Declared TJ sternly.

The leader in him rising up to the fore front in order to effectively deal with this better! Or so he hoped it would anyway. The two young lovers looked at one another and gave pointed looks to each other on who should speak. Earning an irritated growl from Ecliptor in the process and prompting Astronema to glare at her boyfriend before sighing in defeat. "It started a month ago after Zhane rescued me after one of ours chose to revolt against me. I found myself growing infatuated with him and sought him out in both disguise and as myself."

"On our first date, I ended up making it late thanks to a monster attack that I thought she had sent but turns out, she had nothing to do with." Took up Zhane with a loving look towards his girlfriend.

"Yes, turns out it was more your doing, however unintentionally, Ecliptor. And were it not for me allowing my… Infatuation, for Zhane, to make my next decision where he was concerned, I wouldn't be as happy as I am." Added Astronema with a loving look of her own towards her boyfriend.

All was silent on the bridge of the Astroship until Cassie broke it. "That's…"

"So romantic!" Squealed Ashley excitedly.

Albeit, not the direction Cassie was going for! But given the fact Ash is big on Romance… I can't be surprised with her. Thought the Pink Ranger to herself.

Carlos understandably had a confused look on his face. "So… This isn't some sort of trick to get information from her?"

Zhane quickly shook his head. "Not at all, man. We keep shop talk out of our relationship as much as possible. Though she did tell me right off the bat that she doesn't have a clue where Zordon is."

"Not even I know that information thanks to Dark Specter keeping information to a very limited circle." Added Ecliptor unhappily.

For he hated being out of the loop! But then he shook his head of such thoughts and got back to the main reason he was even in enemy territory to begin with! "Trick or no trick, this… Tryst ends now! It is foolish of you both to be doing this for all manner of reasons!"

"But father!" Cried out Astronema, though it wasn't often she used that term of endearment with him but this time was certainly a need for it!

Ecliptor looked at her and pointed a finger at her. "Using your affection towards me will not be to your advantage this time, Astronema. You know as well as I do that this can not end well! Bad enough I thought you now knowing of your familial connection to the Red Ranger was causing me to lose you. But now I know the truth of things! Besides, the boy isn't worthy of you since he is not on our side!"

"Hey! I'm worthy of her! I'm ten times more worthy of her than anyone on your side!"

"And he truly is!"

But Ecliptor would not be moved, making for an unhappy Astronema! "Father! I love Zhane! And he loves me! Otherwise, I would not have allowed things to progress to a certain point!" Which… Unfortunately, had been the second time they were about to experience passionate love making. But alas… Ecliptor had prevented it from happening when he came across the two of them in her personal chamber! "You…WHAT!?"

Ohh how both DECA and Alpha had to fight hard to keep from saying anything! Ashley let out another squeal and grabbed hold of a still dumbfounded Andros' arm as thoughts of romantic moments between them swam through her mind. Zhane quickly found himself having a sword pointed right at his throat curtesy of a furious Ecliptor! "Father, no!"

Anything the artificial dark warrior was about to say was stopped when Andros finally spoke up. "BOYFRIEND!? MY SISTER!? DATING!? ZHANE!?"

"My estimation of you has now been considerably lowered, Red Ranger." Ecliptor declared in dark disgust.
