The last thing I remembered was that the van had flipped over and thrown us off our seats and I was shut down. Just now, I rebooted and got myself back online. My sight was dimmed, thanks to the van being upside-down blocking the light. Just as I worked on getting myself up, Nick slowly picked himself up and shook his head. I looked around the van, scanning for his friend, who was driving the cruiser, and tried to get my sight back online. It took me a few seconds to get it back and it showed me that his friend was to my left. I turned my head to the smaller fox. With my hind-paws on the 'floor', I reached to pick him up and put him on my shoulder.

"Nick, we have to get out of this cruiser ASAP," I explained, turning my attention to the back of the van.

He nodded to me with his eyes closed. Stunned, I guessed. I began to walk toward the double doors of the cruiser and reached to grab my beloved's paw to guide him. Once we were at the door, I let his paw go and kicked the van's backdoor, blasting them out of the way. I carried Nick's friend out of the ruined cruiser. Something, or especially someone, must have planned the attack on us as soon as we located and received the emerald. The red fox followed behind me as we stepped out, having recovered his sight. Once we were clear of the broken-down vehicle, I turned to him and pawed him the smaller fox.

"Never mind the damage and please treat your friend here. I will take care of this duped enemy of mine," I explained, glancing at the giant, abnormal vehicle that appeared behind us, slowly stepping closer to the red van then crushing it as if it was a paper cup.

My scanner told me that the vehicle with four legs belonged to Doctor Robotnik, none the wiser. The data that the scanner brought up named the vehicle as the 'Egg Walker', the walking Egg Mobile. My 'emerald detector' alerted me to the green one that was approaching this road quickly. I turned my attention in that direction and saw Judy standing on a one-story building along with Sonic. She then hopped down to join me.

In a quick ballerina jog, she was next to me, I quickly reminded her, "I reckon that it's better to let your boss know about the situation. I noted that you promised him."

"Ah, right! Thank you. I am going to do that now. You should keep this fur-less mammal busy," she blinked, nodded and reached to grab her phone.

I nodded and then stood between her and the 'Egg Walker'. I started to scan the slow-moving vehicle to seek its weakness. I only got about twenty percent scanned before I grabbed Judy and dashed out of the way as Robotnik sent the crushed van at us.

"Whoa, that was not nice of him," she exclaimed, struggling to get Chief Bogo's number dialed. At that moment, I took a picture of the vehicle in my head and then sent it to Judy's, Tigress's, and Bogo's phones, "Affirmative. And that was a gift from Nick's friend. Would Robotnik dare to kick more of them at us?"

"Ok, I have informed my Chief of the situation. And I am sure you can handle explaining this mess to him," the first cop rabbit called out, pocketing her phone.

I blinked and made a detailed file about the 'Egg Walker', included the location, and sent it to Chief Bogo as well as Officer Fangmeyer, just in case the original source that I sent to the chief got lost. The scanning progress hadn't stopped and it was now at ninety-five percent when I sent the file to the higher ranked officers. Once the mail reached the cops, my scanning progress was complete, displaying the weakness of that vehicle. I nodded and separated from Judy.

"It appears that the 'Egg Walker' has a weakness - it's in the joints of the feet. I believe that you can keep him distracted," I explained to my friend about my delaying action. She nodded in understanding, "Got it."

At that moment, I received a message in my head that the two mammalians who I had pulled out from the fallen vehicle were out of danger. I knew that I could trust Sonic to rescue all the mammalians on the street while I put my focus on dealing with… this villainous individual. Also, I kind of forgot that I was in Speed Warp so this fur-less mammalian moved slower than normal. I pointed Judy to the spot where I believed that she could distract Robotnik and I went to the closest 'foot' of his 'Egg Walker' where it settled onto the road. Once I was right next to that 'foot', I quickly spun, and the sound of my metal tails clanked onto the big red disk that was sitting on the side of the foot. It broke off with a loud pop. By the time my spinning momentum stopped, I watched the Egg Mobile drop onto the road right in front of me.

"It works! He must have thought of having that red circle on his footwear that screamed 'break me!'," Officer Hopps called out at the same time our opponent began working to get the Egg Mobile off the ground.

I turned my head to the foot that I struck my tails on and punched it with my left fist. It was surprisingly weak when the doctor was down. Robotnik flinched and flopped onto his dashboard with his long arms dangling over the small windscreen. It appeared that he was now stunned and knocked out as the result. Suddenly, I got a warning alert in my sight and I turned my attention to pinpoint where it came from. It turned out that my best friend was being strangled by Chief Bogo… for some unknown reason.

"Ayi! He didn't mean to do that, chief! Let him down," Judy called out, dashing toward the males. I stared at them dismantling each other then I turned to Nick and his friend, walking way them and asking my partner, "How's Finn doing?"

Officer Wilde lifted his muzzle to me and smiled, only to immediately exculpate a surprised expression. I turned around and saw that Doctor Robotnik had woken from his stunned attempt to escape. Officer Hopps dashed to him, jumping into the air twice my height with her right fist pulled back. She struck it right on his face, where his scientist glasses were.
