A mind wants to forget, but a heart will always remember...
Sinea frowned looking at the painting before her, she didn't like it. It wasn't the first time she disliked her artwork and it wouldn't be the last time she disliked a painting. But as well as disliking in, she couldn't fully get her heart into the painting – to make it come alive. it was a flat page of colour that held nothing of value, no life, no hope, no spark... All she wanted to was put the paintbrush down and walk out the room.
Walk out the room and punch hisoka in the face.
But that was for another time.
The bluenette sighed, before returning to the painting drying on the canvas before her. It was the beginning stokes of a large, overweight, overpowered dictator. Ming Jol-ik. she didn't know how Sarah managed to get this contract to paint portraits in east gorteau, but the women stated that sinea needed to get out of her gallery – away from anything that reminded her of the red head.
Again, everything returned to the magician.
A red head magician she couldn't bring herself to hate.
She took a deep breath pushing the figure to the back of her mind as she tried concentrated on the piece in front of her. Tried being the main word in that sentence. He had pushed her too her tipping point, balancing on the edge of the blade with her friends the rydon nearby, watched her fall into the void of insanity, watched the chaos and bloodshed.
She didn't remember most of it, only the blurry image of disfigured bodies in a pyramid like fashion and what seems to be an empty throne on top. She'd remember seeing arms and legs on the ground twisted in curls while the blood stained grass red in a seemingless pointless pattern. The image having burned into her brain as the overpowering feeling that something was missing from the final product as darkness dragged her back into the void of sleep.
Only to groggily wake up in her gallery, the lingering sensation of something pressed against her temple and the whispering of an angel's voice in her ear...
she blinked her mind returning to the painting before her – mix match eyes flickering to the pig like man, he was eating while watching women dance. Maybe at some point she will completely remember what happened... she just hoped that those she loved where nowhere near her at the times. She took her eyes away from the man away from the painting and towards the door. Eyes narrowing as a presence suddenly entered her senses. A few moments later the door swung open.
It was a particular sight; the man had a tail and what seemed like a turtle shell hat... but at the same time he didn't seem human not fully anyway and the people that accompanied him acted like guards to a king...
She ignored the chaos, of the dancer screaming and crying in terror as the king was killed by the intruder nor his exclamation of calling them being cattery. She ignored it is in favour of sketching out what could be her final piece.
A king and his court.
She was dawned out of her trance as she felt eyes on her. She looked up, her single glazed grey hue locking onto the purple ones of the strange creature before her, "your eyes"
she muttered, staring into the windows of the king killer, "are beautiful"
But not as beautiful as some golden ones she knew...
"I can sense a lot from you" the king killer mutter, his tail raising, as his blood lust grew.
"I request a final wish" she stated, the point of his tail inches away from her neck.
"oh," the creature cocked his head, surprised at her blank expression not a trace of fear could be found "go on"
"what sort of artist would I be if I died before creating a masterpiece? And I already have an idea of one" she lifted the book up for him to see.
It was one of him, the king killer. He was in the foreground just off centre to the right taking a step forward as if off the drawing in all his glory, to the right, further into the background was the maroon skinned male. To the left on the same line as the marron male was the man with butterfly wings and the cat creature.
The purple eyed male, studied the drawing for a moment before dropping his tail. "I look forward to seeing it"
She nodded, "What is your name?"
"the king"
Sinea frowned, confusion written on her face as she looked at the king. "these are my royal guards" he gestured to the creatures beside him. Before turning on his heels leaving the room in carnage, his guards following his tail.
Once the group of humanoid creatures had disappeared from the senses, she let out a shaky breath, physically wise she was no match of the creatures. But if she played her cards right, she may even make it out alive. She cleaned up her belonging throwing the canvas of the dead king on the ground beside his bleeding carcass before following after the steps of the king.
She was going to search for the prefect spot – to paint her masterpiece.
Her steps were quite as she walked around the grounds of the palace, it took her a while to fine the perfect spot. Like the grand works of old she would create a giant masterpiece. But instead of taking inspiration from the ceiling of the Salone Della Meridiana she was going to place the giant mural on the wall a large one at that.
She had found herself in one of the giant ballrooms in the palace, dust nowhere to be seem despite the room seemly been never used. She walked to one side, of the room, pushing the tables and chairs away from her chosen canvas.
She looked up towards the walled, changing her hairstyle so that both her eyes could study it. ignoring the sense of the creature that had been tailing her from the start, it had been the one of the reasons she hadn't ran in the first place. The other being she wanted to finished this piece and stay away from hisoka a little longer...
She looked up at the wall, before looking down at her book imagining the piece moving onto the wall before her. Yes with a few tweaks It would work. A grand piece at that.
"I'll better get to work then..." she mumbled under her breath as she rolled up her sleeves as set out to find a ladder. Maybe she would ask her stalker?
