I do not own Warhammer. I only own my OC

Kept you waiting huh?

"Alright guys welcome back, it has been a long time hasn't it. But I have some bad news to tell you guys. This story will be ending soon. If you have been with this story since chapter one, then you know that this story was never meant to be a long one. My main purpose for this story was to introduce Wolfgang and his crew. I have two to three more chapters planned, as well as two to three fight scenes one of which will be a knight fight."

"However, there will be solo chapters that explain how the other crew members join Wolfgang's crew. These chapters maybe longer or shorter than my normal 4,000-word chapters."

"Thanks for sticking with this story for a long as you have, and I hope to see you guys in Wolfgang's other adventures."

"Its funny how a word like Love can inspire so much misfortune." – Duero

When Wolfgang exited his father's office, he was surprised to find one of the honor guard standing off to the side. Seeing as his dad never had a guard stationed outside his office, unless it was necessary. Passing the guard without incident, Wolfgang made his way towards his room. As he made his way through the keep his thoughts fell on the eldar. Was she the one that was squeezing his hand when he was informed of his father's plan?

He didn't want to admit it, but he knew that he was developing feelings for the eldar. He was well aware that it was the bond causing these thoughts, but it was only becoming harder to reject the thought of loving her. He could only guess that his training and attitude that was slowing the progress of these feelings.

Suddenly the large windows in the wall shuddered as if something massive had just flew by. Wolfgang stopped and looked at the windows trying to find what could have caused the windows to shudder. Being a preserver, he did not simply believe it to be the wind. He looked over to the other side of the wall to see one of the many wall mounted data pads. Walking over to the pad he checked the season Reach was currently in to see it was early spring… mating season for the Stalkers.

He quietly accessed the comm unit on the data pad, calling up the House Honor Guards commander. He picked up after the first ring.

"This is the House Rose Honor Guard Commander, to whom am I speaking with?" The came a voice of the comm.

"I am Wolfgang Rose; I would like to report the possible presence of a stalker on the property." Wolfgang replied.

"I see Sir, I will alert the rest of the Guard." The commander replied before dropping the line.

Wolfgang could only hope that an increase in activity would ward off the creature, but then again nothing short of a colossus-class titan could truly scare off a stalker when it was looking for a mate. And if he remembered correctly, none of the five colossus-class titans on Reach were near this city. So, it came down to who could keep out of sight the most. Well it was a good thing that he only had the preserver academy to go to.

The young preserver continued on his way to his room. When he arrived, he found the door wide open, odd given that it was an automatic door. He had a feeling he knew who was waiting for him, but that did not make it any easier to walk in. Steeling himself Wolfgang walked in.

As he suspected he found the eldar sitting on his bed her head turned towards the window. He didn't know if the light was hitting her just right or the bond was affecting his vision, but she looked like the most beautiful woman he had ever seen in his life. Her bright red hair flowed down her back like a gentle stream, not a single hair was out of place. Her skin was spotless, not a single blemish on her face or the rest of her body. And those eyes, oh those eyes. If they had been looking at him in that moment, then he couldn't bring himself to look away.

Her body was shaped just right. She was thin but her breast and butt had a good size to them giving her that hourglass figure. He was glad that her clothes were not form fitting, he didn't need any more reason to talker her and tear off those pesky clothes.

She was just so… perfect.

The preserver noticed his pants getting tighter, he tried to ignore it. He began to think about training exercises, ball games, anything to get his mind off her. But she was just too damn beautiful, too bloody damn beautiful. He felt like the luckiest guy to be bonded to her, but when the bond stops talking, he felt like this woman is going to make him do something that he would regret.

Wolfgang cleared his throat to get her attention, but she did not look at him. She just sat on his bed looking pretty.

"You are to be married." She stated rather than asked after a few moments of silence. Wolfgang noticed the hostility in her voice.

"I will be doing my best to get out of it." Wolfgang replied walking further into his room.

In a blur of motion, the elder was out of Wolfgang's bed and pinning him against the wall behind. He failed to defend himself still being in the same trance when he arrived Wolfgang failed to even lift a finger. He could feel his heart beating faster as he was pinned to the wall, he felt oddly ok with this. Her face neared his.

"You best human." She said into his ear. "You are mine and no one else can have you. Can your pathetic mind understand that?"

"Yes, ma'am." Wolfgang replied as if replying to an officer.

The eldar backed away and made her way out of his room. He did not move until he couldn't hear her footsteps anymore. Moving over to his bed Wolfgang unceremoniously plopped down in his bed face first. Rosa appeared on the holo-projector in his room moments later.

"I'm starting to think-" Rosa started snuggly.

"Rosa… not one more word." Wolfgang cut her off his voice muffled by his pillow.

Rosa smiled behind her helmet and disappeared back into the keep's network. Wolfgang laid on his bed for an hour without making a move. Part of him wanted to sleep, but the other part of him know he had a few things to do. He still needed to make his report on his run as well as check the market for anything of interest.

Meanwhile in the hallway, the lights began to flicker and shut off. The few guards making their patrol noticed this and readied their power spears. The lights began to turn off forcing the three guards to switch their helmet visors to night vision. As soon as they did one of the guards found an armored fist flying towards his face. The guard had no time to react as he found himself on the ground his helmet cracked from the punch.

The other guards tried to find what had attacked them, but nothing was there. A flash of light caused them to turn around only for something to grab them both by their necks. The guards smuggled to get out of the thing's hold, but it was too strong and started choking them. The guards soon fell to the ground as they fell unconscious.

With the guards' deprived of their conscious the black armored being began walking towards one of the doors. Its right hand moved to the demonic looking sword handle and gripped it. The black blade of the demonic sword began to glow red as it's master drew it from its sheath. With the demonic sword fully drawn the armored knocks down the door and rushes in.

However its target was already out of bed and armored with his white revolver. Wolfgang took two shots, both shots hitting their mark in the exposed armor were the knee guard met the protective under armor. Both bullets pierced the under armor traveling into its body and destroying its kneecaps. Unable to run anymore the armored being lost its footing and fell to the ground, its momentum carrying it to the other side of the room where it crashed into the wall dropping its sword.

"Why is it always the kneecaps?" An echoey voice said. "I could have sworn I had the drop on you this time."

"You weren't exactly quite when you took down those guards Shawn." Wolfgang said turning to face his best friend.

Shawn was an odd character from his odd birth to his existence, him being part demon and all. Scientists still had no idea how Shawn came to be, the only working hypothesis was that who ever his mother was, was exposed to high amounts of warp energy when she was pregnant with him. This led to the strange human looking demon that was Shawn.

However, being part demon Shawn did not have a glamorous childhood being the subject of bullying on more than one occasion. This led him to seek comfort in the marine chapter that inhabited Reach. They were hesitant to take on Shawn as a Neophyte, but the Chief Apothecary of the chapter decided to give it a shot. To everyone's surprise Shawn's body took very well to the chapter's gene seed and he soon found himself in the Eldar hunters division thanks to his inhuman speed and prowess with a sword.

Unlike the other marines of the chapter Shawn chose to use a black unmarked mark IV looking power armor. Shawn did this because despite his membership in the chapter he neve felt like a part of the chapter as he was constantly tested for any signs of traitorous intent. His sword however was a true demon sword that he took off chaos marine's corpses in one of the many knight graveyards that littered the landscape.

The two met each other when Headmaster Durzo asked the Sons of Liberty to send a few marines to the academy to help with training. It was there Wolfgang and Shawn met being sparring partners, since then they have been friends. Of course, Shawn still wanted to match Wolfgang's 192 wins to his 187.

Shawn shot up grabbing Wolfgang's shoulder and pulling him in close. "So, I saw a sexy eldar on my way here, getting to know the fairer sex of the eldar race eh." Shawn said in a devious voice.

Wolfgang pushed him away his cheeks heating up a bit. "It's not what you think, there was a complication on my last run-" His voice died when he saw Shawn was no longer paying attention to him.

"Give me all the juicy details." Instead he was hunched over at Rose's projector speaking to the AI in question.

"I just sent all the info I have to your HUD." Rosa whispers back. "Your going to love the last bit."

My best friend, he took it upon himself to know every detail about Wolfgang's sex life. He must have tried at least twenty different times trying to hook him up with someone he found. All twenty ended up being let downs as they soon only wanted him to get into Rose family. One of the down sides to being, "Nobility" on Reach. Everyone wanted to get into your family for a quick power grab. One of the reasons Wolfgang never had a true girlfriend, nor any of his brothers for that matter.

Sighing Wolfgang turned and left his room, seeing him leave Shawn chased after him. Other guards had come to help the ones Shawn had knocked out. Some of them regarded Shawn with a disgusted looked them knowing what he was.

"Oh, come on brother man. Don't be like that." Shawn says in his wispy voice after catching up with him. "Just having a little fun, but seriously though, do you have a bond with that eldar?"

"You read the mission reports?" Wolfgang asked, being slightly surprised given that he had only been on the planet for a few hours.

"Of course!" He called out happily, smiling behind his helmet. "I've got to keep up with my boss' mission reports."

Wolfgang stop when he heard that. He turned his head to look at his best friend. "You got permission."

"Yup!" He said popping the P. "Hunt Master filed the paperwork yesterday after completing all my hunt objectives. Your looking at a first company hunter!" Shawn finished proudly gesturing to himself.

"And the Hunt Master just let you go… like that?" Wolfgang asked not believing the Master Hunter of the Eldar Hunters, would let a first company hunter go just like that.

"Well let me tell you that those hunt objectives were no small feat. I had to kill and seal three-hundred dark eldar pure-bloods then do the same to five archons without getting spotted." Shawn countered. "To get him to let me join you I had to free every slave I saw and let me tell you I. Saw. A. Lot."

"Well, it will be nice to have someone of your skill set on the team." Wolfgang said starting to walk again.

"I look forward to our future fights together boss man." Shawn replied happily.

The happy moment however was killed when Omael came around the corner stopping before the two. The black dragon chaplain stared at Shawn for a few moments. Only muttering the words "Blackshield" to himself. In truth Shawn could be considered a Blackshield marine giving his loyalty and his half demon heritage. Normally a Blackshield was a marine who did not have a specific loyalty or was taking on some form of atonement for some past action. Most Blackshields in the galaxy were former traitor marines that turned back to the Imperium.

More times than not they died in battle as part of their atonement or would be picked up by some chapter of marines. However, they would always bare the mark of a Blackshield marine somewhere on there armor. Omeal was probably thinking that this was some marine that turned their back on the Imperium but still fought for humanity.

Wolfgang gathered this because the marine's right hand was moving towards his melee weapon. Shawn seeing the threat did the same, causing the chaplain to see the demon sword.

"Preserver." Omeal growled not taking his eyes off Shawn. "Why is there a traitorous marine here?"

"Shawn is not a traitorous marine. He is a member of the Sons of Liberty who just joined my crew." Wolfgang said gesturing to Shawn to push his sword back into its sheath.

"Then why does he have a demonic sword on his person?!"

"That's because Shawn was exposed to a lot of warp energy during his birth." Wolfgang said giving the black dragon the working theory behind Shawn's conspection. "He is part warp entity part human-"

"It is a demon in human skin." Omeal hissed cutting off the preserver.

"I prefer to see myself as a leech, I only take from the chaos god that powers my warp half." Shawn defended himself.

"Even if what you say is true, you cannot be trusted demon."

"Omeal I have known Shawn since I was younger, he has saved my life more than a dozen times and he has banished many demons and killed countless Xenos." Wolfgang added hoping to gain the marine's trust. After all marines spoke with action rather than words.

The chaplain broke eye contact with Shawn for a moment before looking back to Shawn. "Is this true?"

"One was a greater demon, and I have killed more demons and cultist then most Gray Knights." Shawn responded puffing out his chest.

Omeal regarded the half human for a few moments before taking his hand off his weapon. "If what you say is true then I will not raise my weapon against you. However, I will be keeping a close eye on you and I will not hesitate to strike you down."

"Then I guess I best start showing off my best sides."

With that conversation out of the way The Chaplain looked back to Wolfgang.

"Preserver, after debating over the matter I have chosen to refuse the Sons of Liberty invitation to join their ranks. But I do not want to stand by on this planet waiting for something to happen. If you would have me, I would like to join your crew, provided any action we take against the Imperium is reviewed by me personally."

'Two marines in one day, I must be dreaming. Got my own little deathwatch going.' Wolfgang thought to himself before speaking out loud. "I would be honored to have you on my crew Chaplain Omeal."

Omeal nodded and fell behind Wolfgang along with Shawn as they started to make their way towards the mech bay. It did not take the three very long to reach the mech bay, as the dormitory part of the keep was near the mech bay. Rosa was already preparing her knight frame for the walk over the academy.

A few other knights were docked in their bays sporting new weapons that came out of the Keeps foundry. One of which was a new type of autocannon, Or AC then caliber, for short. According to the specs there were three types of AC calibers, 2, 5, 10, and 20 with 2 and 5s being more of a long range cannon and 10 and 20s being more of a shotgun. Of course, the 10 and 20 had an ever deadlier model called LB 10-X AC and LB 20-X AC.

Wolfgang was looking to switch out his lightning cannon for an LB 20-X AC, it was true that the lightning cannon was better for taking out infantry, but nothing beats a nice oversized shotgun. But he was going to need to upgrade his knights shock absorbers to deal with the increased recoil these guns gave off when they fired.

But over all this cost money, money Wolfgang did not have.

Shaking his head Wolfgang continued to his knight. Once he arrived Shawn jumped up on the mini-titan's upper hull and sat down after finding a semi comfortable spot, Wolfgang followed him sitting on a spot just above the cockpit. Omeal did not follow them.

"What are you waiting for jump on." Shawn called to the marine.

Omeal regarded them, sitting on top of a war engine like it was a common transport. A Techpriest would have blown a gasket if he saw something like this. To them it would be a great insult to the war engine's machine spirit to have anyone ride it if it was not a transport. Were the people outside these walls so dangerous as too warrant such an act?

"Its common here on Reach." Wolfgang spoke seeing the Chaplain's confusion. "Knight pilots tend to ride there knight everywhere they go when they're not walking themselves. Can't have our AI partners getting Jealous."

"You speak of me as though I was an overprotective girlfriend." Rosa's voice came from the knight's speakers.

"So, you are saying you don't mind if I ride a transport to the academy?" Wolfgang asked Rosa.

The knight's vents blew out black smoke. "Those metal boxes are not worthy to carry my pilot!"

A smile appeared on Wolfgang's face. "See this type of thing is normal, now get on I rather get this over with sooner rather than later."

Omeal remained still for a moment before he walked over to the knight and pulled himself up to the knight's upper hull. He did not sit down, instead he opted to hang on to the knight's missile pod for support. With everyone on board Rosa began to move, a spinning light came on to warn people on the bay floor to watch out for the moving knight. The bay door began to open letting in the bright light from the sun.

The knight proceeded out of the mech bay and towards the main gate leading into town. The massive doors of the main gate began to open as the knight approached. Once they passed the main gate the knight continued into the city. Unlike the cities of the Imperium the city was flat and did not have levels. This allowed cars and military vehicles to traverse the city with ease as to having to stay on the lower level like in hive cities.

There were many tall buildings in the center of the city with the housing and small buildings closer to the walls. People walked the streets, most of them human with an eldar here and there but the majority were human. There were a few marines in Sons of Liberty armor, Wolfgang explained that the astartes were the main law enforcement for the cities on Reach. Omeal was quick to comment that such a task was beneath an astartes and should be delegated to lesser soldiers.

Wolfgang countered by saying that this was mainly done to assist in the astartes training as it increases their observational abilities in urban environments. To spot troublemakers in a crowded environment would help them find combatants while fighting in places of high civilian population as a soldier might be hiding in the crowd of fleeing noncombatants.

Having an astartes law enforcement patrolling the city would decrease the chances of a crime taking place as people would be less likely to pull a gun when an astarte was patrolling the streets. Besides since the marines of the Sons of Liberty weren't deployed twenty-four-seven this gave them something to do, as well as getting the civilian populace used to marines working in the city.

But despite the reasons given to Omeal the marine still believed such a task was beneath the astartes.

Rose proceeded down the road towards the complex of buildings that was the Preserver Academy. The academy was a series of buildings surrounding a central tower. There was a large opened track field for running and other exercises next to it as well a mech bay for those Preservers who were also knight pilots.

As the knight got closer to the Academy the unmissable frame of a House Steiner Knight Gallant started to become more apparent. Like all House Steiner Knights this one was painted blue with a steel secondary with its under banner and shield barring the House crest, a closed iron fist pointing towards the sky. However, the under banner on this knight had more symbols below the fist. One of which was a hammer with thunder coming off it as another iron fist but with a bright sun was behind it. There were also well over a dozen campaign ribbons.

This was no run of the mill House Steiner Knight; this was a knight who had seen over a dozen campaign mission. The hammer symbol meant that the knight's pilot was a member of their elite knight honor guard and the fist with the sun behind it meant that this person was apart of the main family.

Wolfgang had a feeling as to why this member of the main family was here in his way.

As they got close enough Wolfgang saw a woman around his age standing on the knight's upper hall. This woman was not a preserver as she was wearing the House Steiner knight pilot dress uniform. A military looking uniform with flat shoulders and with the House symbol on her left breast while. The paints of the uniform were white while the shirt was blue.

Rosa came to a stop about forty sixty feet away from the opposing night. Being this close Wolfgang could see that the pilots hair was blond and her eyes blue like most Stiner family members.

"Wolfgang of House Rose I, Norla Steiner, hereby challenge you to a duel!"

"Boom and that's the end. I will try to not to leave this story out to dry for as long as I did. But as you guys know I run off of feedback. Trust me guys it really helps when getting me to write this story. Come to think of it, maybe I should get my crew to start bugging me about writing, I mean it would only be fair seeing as I bug them about doing their jobs."

Special thanks to my Crew: ZoDiAcKiLlEr315 and Rogue-eL

God bless and thank you for your support in this story.
