I am borrowing Erika Aoyama and Mew Erika from Redwallfan2000. Ichigo Momomiya is NOW 17 (Volume 4 to 10) years old than 12-13 like in the anime/manga. This is not also a copy of either any "Dragon knight" or "Dragon Knights" stories.
Hello to all, this is Episode 50 of the new and FINAL Arc of Volume 4: KC Cup!
P.S. I do not own them all or any of them except this crossover story, so I wrote the band's or artist's name that wrote that song which I do not own again.
Intro: The Earth... is a great place where humanity and all other creatures live and learn to evolve little by little, but this great world has Darkness in it too. Evil beings who wish to conquer this world and everyone.
Only one being stood against them to show everyone the power of light and hope, but this great mythical dragon wasn't able to stop them. He gave his powers and hope to a human that was known by his name, the Dragon Knight!
Before this hero also met his end, he gave the legendary Dragon Sword and his hopes and dreams to the next knight, his youngest son who is destined to become a legend by the sides of his comrades and his love. This hero... is the Dragon Knight of Light!

Volume 4: Episode 50: Passing the Preliminary! Ichigo and Erika's Promise!
In the previous episode of DKR:
While the others witnessed Danny beating down Youngblood and his ghost pirates, Yugi and Ichigo were enjoying their time alone until they were arrested by corrupted officers who got false evidence from Light without them knowing to incriminate Yugi for being Kira.
Things were bad but thanks to Kaiba and Pegasus, the couple was saved by the young lawyer Ryan Quint, turning down the evidence against Yugi and revealing the corrupted officers, both smart wise and beating them easily too.
After that the three had a talk with Kaiba and Pegasus revealing the new tournament, the KC Cup, they're hosting. Yugi gladly accepts, not having a choice, with Ryan excited expressing how much he wants to duel him. Ichigo also decided she wanted to join the tournament too but first she must pass the preliminary to enter the main 16 roaster.
Will Ichigo manage and enter the KC Cup?
And now the conclusion... a few days later since the previous episode:
"Hmm…'' Sitting in her desk table, Ichigo is working on her deck. The KC Cup had been announced to all and she's using her time, after doing her annoying homework, to improve her deck for the tournament. This is her first chance to enter her first tournament and she wants to enter it badly.
''Ichigo-chan can do it! Ichigo-chan can do it!'' Masha cheers joyfully for her partner, flying around her. Ichigo giggles by her little robot pal's cheers, petting it.
''I sure can Masha Nya! I'm going to give it my all with this upgraded deck Nya.'' She tells Masha happily tickling its tail more. Masha cries joyfully declaring. ''Ichigo-chan will win for sure!''
Ichigo blushes not sure about winning it but she wants to at least be part of the tournament… and duel a certain someone. She says it blushing. ''Well this is my first time but my aim is to duel Yugi-kun.''
Masha blinks asking her. ''How come?''
Ichigo winks, telling her partner. ''I'll tell my reasons when I duel him Nya.''
The tiny robot blinks again but nods respecting her wishes. Ichigo giggles eyeing her Deck and more than sure it's ready. It should handle anything, hopefully.
''Ichigo sweetie.'' Ichigo's mother Sakura calls her out causing the red cherry pigtail to blink, calling her out. ''Yes Kaa-san?''
''Erika-san is waiting for you downstairs.'' Sakura informs her causing Ichigo to mutter puzzle. ''Nya?''
Ichigo gets off the chair and leaves her room, heading downstairs and spots Erika waiting for her.
''Erika-chan?'' She utters out surprised to see her here without calling her. Erika turns eyeing her with a smile, speaking up kindly. ''Sorry to bother you Ichigo, I wanted to see you.''
Ichigo blinks puzzle but happy she's here. If there's anyone who would see her in surprise, one of those people would be Erika.
''Is everything okay Nya?'' She asks her best friend if it has to do something. Erika nods that she's okay as she proclaims. ''Just that Yugi told me you were going to try to join Kaiba's tournament he's announced.''
Ichigo giggles replying. "Yep! And I'm going to win, or well try until I get to duel Yugi-kun Nya.''
Erika blinks a bit confused asking. ''Why?''
Masha flies around the two speaking up happily. ''Ichigo won't say, Ichigo won't say.''
Erika pets the soft furry robot smiling. She then says gazing at Ichigo with a rather naughty, teasing expression. ''Is that so?''
Ichigo blushes shyly not wanting to explain her reasons.
Erika hums having been thinking about it for a moment and finally asks her friend. ''Want me to help you get there?''
The red cherry head blinks surprising that she asks her. ''You want to join the tournament Erika-chan?''
Erika smiles giggling a bit and nods explaining. ''I do. Friends help each other out.''
''Erika-chan…'' Ichigo mutters speechless but blushes warmly. She knows if Erika does help her by joining the tournament, it is likely they will duel in the tournament but she didn't care; in fact she'll be happy to duel her.
She purrs speaking up energetically. ''We'll get past those preliminaries and reach the main tournament together Nya!''
Erika giggles already seeing that respond miles away, speaking up smiling. ''Then lets both do our best!''
"Right Nya!'' Ichigo purrs joyfully. She feels so happy to be doing this tournament not alone. She then asks Erika curious. ''Want to practice with me?''
Erika smiles not minding to but she has to do something right now explaining herself. ''Another time, I got stuff to do.''
Ichigo nods understanding her smiling. Erika bows as she heads off with Ichigo shouting out waving at her. ''See you then Erika-chan!''
Erika waves back leaving. She walks away thinking back on what Yugi sort of said how he and Ichigo were sort of arrested by mistake. Even she found that too suspicious, like there was something else behind it. Even Ichigo told her this and this serial killer misunderstanding but Erika can't help but want to stay close to her friend in case this happens again. Ichigo is her best friend and she won't fail her.
''I have to keep watch of Ichigo. I don't know why she and Yugi were arrested but I won't leave her.'' Erika vows to herself as she heads out.
The next day arrived and it was the day of the tournament. Ichigo and Erika went together to Kaiba Land where they must participate to enter the preliminaries.
''Welcome everyone to Kaiba Land! Greatest place on Earth!'' A staff member greets those entering the park, revealing the large amusement park with Blue-Eyes White Dragon themes all over it, even the rides and train are Blue-Eyes theme. The staff member also adds sweat dropping. ''Please enjoy your time here, have fun and no damage on the property or else.''
Erika sweat drops by that warning as did Ichigo.
''Why so many Blue-Eyes statues and stuff? Geez Nya.'' Ichigo mutters unease by the multiple Blue-Eyes theme for the park. Feels like Disney Land but less friendly and more of Kaiba's ego.
''Ichigo-kun!'' Ichigo and Erika turn and the cat girl purrs to see Yugi waving at her walking up towards them.
''Yugi-kun!'' Ichigo shouts happily, pouncing and hugging him. Yugi giggles with Jonouchi sweat dropping heavily. She notices it and groans a bit muttering out. ''And Jonouchi-Baka Nya.''
''D-don't say it like that Momomiya!'' Jonouchi nervously says not a fan of himself being called the idiot; he has enough of that with Kaiba. Ichigo will try to remember that as she asks them. ''So you two are going to watch who gets in the tournament Nya?''
Yugi nods sweat dropping as he says. ''Jonouchi-kun dragged me here to spy on the competition. I was going to come so someone can cheer for my Strawberry Kitten.''
Ichigo purrs blushing. Jonouchi then adds with a loud shout. ''THAT AND ERIKA-CHAN IS HERE!''
Erika sweat drops by his affection towards her, explaining her reasons in being here. ''Came to help Ichigo. Plus it could be fun.''
''So you ladies joining the preliminaries?'' Mokuba suddenly appears behind the group. Ichigo startles by his voice with Erika eyeing him and nods.
Mokuba smiles as he tells the red cherry head. ''Do your best Ichigo. Nii-san would be disappointed.''
''I don't plan to lose Nya!'' Ichigo makes a vow going to reach the tournament and beat Kaiba again.
''Do your best you two.'' Yugi tells her and Erika to do their best. The two girls giggle and nod planning out.
How will Ichigo and Erika handle themselves in the first rounds of the preliminaries? Will they past?
Commercial Break:
Jonouchi: You better not let my Erika lose, Momomiya!
Ichigo: Erika-chan and I will both reach the tournament Nya!
The preliminaries began with some of the rookie or amateur duelists losing right off the bat. Erika was dueling one said rookies and about to win too.
''Millennium Scorpion, stomp him!'' Erika commands as her giant scorpion monster strikes her opponent, finishing the duel in her win.
Jonouchi cheers energetically. Yugi sweat drops as did Ichigo who at least is happy for her friend's win. She then says knowing she's up next. ''Well I'm next and I will beat my opponent without trying too!''
Yugi nods smiling while Jonouchi hums not sure it will be easy, depends if her opponent is no rookie or completely noob.
Ichigo waits and strangely none step up. She blinks asking the referee. ''Mokuba-chan, where's my opponent?''
Mokuba blinks his list, not sure. ''Eh…''
''Oh, look at this cherry pop.'' A voice speaks up. Ichigo groans no doubt the opponent. She turns and well… she regrets turning to face her opponent.
What Ichigo stared at would haunt her for most of her nightmares… probably all. It was a boy… well he looked more like a short stumpy yet gigantic man with a LARGE head with human red hair. She can't even assume he's a boy; he has chest hair. He's wearing the same school uniform similar to Yugi but wears a pink shirt with a large yellow start on it and pink strapped boots. His face is still probably the creepiest and most disturb thing even from a human being.
''W-WHAT THE HELL IS THAT?!'' Ichigo screams out of horror while Jonouchi snaps furious declaring. ''SCUD! I should have sworn I smelled evil and cheap cologne!''
Ichigo blinks sniffing and she could actually smell the cheap male cologne coming from… whatever type of human that's supposed to be.
''Oh look, it's Jonouchi. Here to ruin my fun again?'' The ''man'' named Scud proclaims with a dark frown and glare at the dirty colored blond-headed. Jonouchi growls, gripping his fists tightly while Yugi sighs also annoyed he's here.
''W-who or what is that then Nya?'' Ichigo asks, still very unease by this ''person''. Jonouchi gladly tells the red cherry head with simple words. ''Scud: bully, ditches school to bring misery to others.''
''His real name is Kudaragi-kun.'' Yugi then states causing the so-called Scud to growl hearing that name. Ichigo blinks by this and sadly questions just curious. ''… Why Scud?''
Yugi hums thinking and only had one answer for his girlfriend. ''He's well… crazy.''
Ichigo sweat drops heavily wishing that wasn't the case.
''Where's your gang then?'' Jonouchi demands at Scud with a fist waving at him. Scud scoffs gazing at Mokuba and the staff members watching him, simply putting it while slowly forming a twist big smile on his face. ''They didn't allow them in but once I enter this stupid tournament, my friends and I will have a lot of fun.''
Ichigo stares really missing Kish right about now before she snaps out and shouts upset. ''Wait, he's actually my first opponent Nya?! THIS THING?!''
Mokuba checks and sighs sadly he is. Scud chuckles eyeing the sweet candy he's heard much about, hanging around with those losers especially Yugi. If she was his babe, oh boy will he post her ''smiles'' across the whole world… and he will.
''I bet you're that scared of me. Well don't worry, I'll give you a nice smile for the whole world to see after I beat you.'' Scud promises to her forming his very creepy, insane grin at her with one eye enlarge than the other. Ichigo is really happy that she already used the bathroom before coming here.
''… FOR THE WRONG REASONS NYA!'' She yells out both furious and very uncomfortable. Yugi nods rapidly having taken the words out of his mouth. He's upset but much like Ichigo, his brain and even soul can't compute what Scud is.
''J-just beat him.'' Mokuba begs of her not wanting this guy anymore near the KC Cup. If Seto learned of this, well he would show up and personally deal with it. Mokuba kinda wants Ichigo to do the honors at least.
Ichigo nods not having much of a choice turning to Yugi and Jonouchi and asks of them. ''Just me luck Nya…''
Yugi smiles sweat dropping while Jonouchi though tells her just that more energetic. ''You can do it Momomiya! Beat him apart!''
Scud scoffs at his cheerleading attempts and proclaims with a glare. ''When I beat her, you're next Jonouchi.''
''COME AND SAY IT TO MY FACE FREAKSHOW!'' Jonouchi barks violent really wanting to make him eat those words. Ichigo shivers just demanding really tired of this. ''Can we just duel Nya?''
Mokuba nods glaring at Scud to start. Scud scoffs putting on an old Duel Disk though seemingly broken as if it was torn off by someone. Ichigo gulps putting on her own. Both duelists slide their decks in, auto-shuffling them.
''Duel!'' Ichigo and Scud with a smirk declare drawing their 5 cards, commencing the duel.
Duel Screen: Ichigo Momomiya: 4000LP vs. Scud: 4000LP
Ichigo felt very… not sure. She's scared her opponent is more than his looks but at the same time… he's grinning at her without bothering in looking at his starting hand. She shakes off those feelings, not planning to lose here.
''I get to start first!'' Scud announces licking his lips. Ichigo snaps and immediately protests. ''No-no Nya! Ladies first!''
Mokuba agrees with Scud scoffing.
''Fine then… that way I get to beat you in my turn.'' Scud then says with a sinister, freaky expression that made Ichigo shiver even more, kinda missing Kish right about now.
Duel Screen: Turn 1_ Ichigo: 4000LP H: 5 / Scud: 4000LP H: 5
"My turn, draw Nya!'' She declares drawing her top card. She eyes it and smiles summoning it. ''I start by summoning one of my favorite monsters, Love Dragon LV4!''
Emerging to her field is her teenager Love Dragon, letting out a soft but strong roar.
Love Dragon LV4 Lvl 4 ATK: 1500 DEF: 1600
''I set 1 card facedown and end my turn Nya!'' Ichigo proclaims setting a facedown card behind her dragon, finishing her turn.
Duel Screen: Turn 2_ Ichigo: 4000LP H: 4 / Scud: 4000LP H: 5
''HAHAHA!'' Scud immediately laughs at Ichigo's plays, proclaiming with a smirk. ''Such a lame turn! I'm gotta show a real terrifying turn. My turn!''
He draws his top card and grins more summoning his monster. ''Come out Abaki!''
An ugly red demonic ogre creature with a spiky club appears with the ugliest of smiles.
Abaki Lvl 4 ATK: 1700 DEF: 1100
Ichigo groans really gross out by the monster actually stating it. ''Ew… That monster shares a lot with you Nya.''
''Is it our smile?'' Scud, taking it the wrong way, asks grinning like his monster was.
''…'' Ichigo stands frozen though disgusted by his smile.
''We should get back to the fun. I equip Abaki with this card, Black Pendant!'' Scud resumes his turn equipping his monster with a sinister black pendant around its neck. ''Now it gains 500 ATK!''
Abaki's ATK goes up to 2200. Ichigo stares calmly not worry but what did is Scud's twisted smile.
''Now give us a smile.'' Scud begins to say before changing his expression to a more crazy-like look with one eye slightly bigger than the other. ''Attack Abaki!''
Abaki laughs madly leaping towards Ichigo's dragon. However Ichigo was ready for it triggering her set card. ''I flip over my set Trap Card, Draining Shield.''
His trap opens up forming a barrier and blocks Abaki's swinging club at her dragon. Ichigo explains with a smile. ''I negate your attack and I gain Life Points equal to its ATK.''
Ichigo gains the 2200 of ATK into her Life Points, shooting them up to 6200LP. But Scud just lets out a menacing laugh. ''HAHAHA!''
The red headed pigtail blinks not following as Scud raises a card smirking.
''Now watch as I play this powerful spell!'' Scud explains with a smirk at the card he's holding. Ichigo gulps worrying what his card could be. Whatever that card is, it's going to be dangerous. Scud laughs playing it as his card materializes to the field. ''Sparks! Now you take damage!''
A powerful burst of electricity shocks the red cherry head, bracing herself. Ichigo panics quickly checking her Duel Disk on the damage she just took and it left her speechless that she only took 200 of damage.
''2-200 Nya? That's it?!'' Ichigo mutters out a bit taken back on what just happened. Scud finds this as terror as he proclaims grinning. ''Don't worry. I got more surprises for ya. I end my turn.''
Duel Screen: Turn 3_ Ichigo: 6000LP H: 4 / Scud: 4000LP H: 3
Ichigo sweat drops so badly how this duel even is. She groans finally speaking up pretty questionable. ''… My turn Nya?''
She draws her top card and then declares smiling. ''I use Love Dragon LV4's effect, evolving her Nya!''
Her dragon begins shining, changing form.
''Shine, Love Dragon LV5!'' Ichigo summons forth her evolved older teenager Love Dragon.
Love Dragon LV5 Lvl 5 ATK: 2000 DEF: 1700
''Love Dragon LV5's effect targets and destroys your Abaki while I gain its highest ATK or DEF as Life Points Nya!'' Ichigo reveals determined as her dragon's wings glow brightly and dashes right at Abaki, slashing it with her wings. ''Love Wing!''
Abaki gasps and explodes. Ichigo smirks declaring. ''I also chain my dragon's summon with this Quick-Play Spell Nya, Power of Love! Now my Love Dragon gains 2000 extra ATK!''
Ichigo's Life Points went up to 7700 now while Love Dragon LV5 shoots up to 4000 ATK. However Scud just laughs this off menacing. ''Hahaha!''
She groans unease as Scud explains smirking. ''When Abaki leaves the field, we both take 500 of damage but you take another 500 thanks to Black Pendant!''
Ichigo blinks sweat dropping heavily as her Life Points take damage but so did Scud. Ichigo only lost a 1000 while Scud lost 500LP.
''Just look at the expression you've made. It makes me smile now!'' Scud proclaims grinning menacing. Ichigo did make an expression, just a stunned expression.
Sighing upsetting, rubbing her forehead, Ichigo couldn't handle it anymore and declares upset. ''… Love Dragon, beat him now Nya.''
Scud suddenly staggers and utters out actually scared. ''Wait what?''
Love Dragon LV5 roars flapping its wings and releases a powerful pink energy slashes from them, coming at Scud. He panics screaming as the attack consumes him. ''WHY?!''
The attack explodes and Scud is sent flying hard on the ground, his Life Points hitting down to 0.
Duel Screen: Winner… Ichigo Momomiya: 6700LP vs. Scud: 0LP
Ichigo sweat drops heavily not expecting this kind of conclusion.
"NICE JOB MOMOMIYA!'' Jonouchi shouts out proudly of her beating a dangerous foe like Scud.
''…'' Ichigo sweat drops more not sure how to put it in words no less how very anti-climactic this was after all of her worrying. She does ultimately asked thinking this was all a bad prank. ''W-was I actually dueling him Nya?''
Yugi sweat drops still seeing Jonouchi clapping and posing manly that Ichigo won… against an opponent that didn't even try. He eyes her and puts it the best he could also not sure. ''… Best we don't question this.''
Ichigo sighs upsetting but relief it was over… until Scud starts screaming like a madman.
''T-THIS ISN'T OVER! I WAS JUST WARMING UP!'' Scud shouts still not finished but Mokuba quickly had security drag him out of the park. Scud obviously struggles refusing to let this end without having his perfect ''smile'' of terror.
''YOU'LL ALL SEE!'' Scud vows sinister before he's kicked out of Kaiba Land. Mokuba sighs of relief though he has to let his brother know to not allow that guy or his group of freaks near Kaiba Land.
''… I hope he's not human Nya.'' Ichigo mutters out loud with Jonouchi actually agreeing with her. ''Same.''
Yugi sweat drops at least happy the two have come in agreement.
Erika, sweat dropping, sees this sighing of relief and then notices Ryan, just beating a duelist. He notices her back and smiles waving hello. Erika eyes him suspiciously and turns her back leaving. Ryan sweat drops wondering if he did something wrong.
Will Ichigo and Erika manage to enter the KC Cup?

Ichigo: Yea, Anzu said she hated every bit of it. Also the tunnels and pitch darkness forest… and Undead Kaiba-Baka too.
Erika: Anyway, we're close to reaching the tournament. Just a few more duels Ichigo.

Yes, Kudaragi aka Scud from DSOD. I decided to fuse both names and make Scud as Kudaragi's Nickname to cause terror and why not… and expect more of him and later his gang in future Volumes… until I decide if I want Aigami/Diva to erase them like DSOD canon or someone else. You tell me guys. I will even make a poll if you want this.
And Scud's deck is based on his Duel Links' Deck.
I will be blunt, I HATE Yugioh Sevens SO MUCH. Now it's getting a MANGA. OVER VRAINS- which got cancelled. So Yugioh Vrains is NOT worth having a Manga but SEVENS DOES?! FUCK SEVENS. I don't want any of you to tell me how "fun" Rush Duels are because I'll just say "SPEED DUELS ARE BETTER". SIGH... Sorry about this rant.
