Hello to all, this is Episode 52 of the final Arc of Volume 4: KC Cup!

Intro: The Earth... is a great place where humanity and all other creatures live and learn to evolve little by little, but this great world has Darkness in it too. Evil beings who wish to conquer this world and everyone.
Only one being stood against them to show everyone the power of light and hope, but this great mythical dragon wasn't able to stop them. He gave his powers and hope to a human that was known by his name, the Dragon Knight!
Before this hero also met his end, he gave the legendary Dragon Sword and his hopes and dreams to the next knight, his youngest son who is destined to become a legend by the sides of his comrades and his love. This hero... is the Dragon Knight of Light!

Volume 4: Episode 52: The Duel Between Friends! Ichigo VS Erika?!
In the previous episode of DKR:
The preliminaries for the KC Cup went off well with Ichigo beating Haga's dangerous Insect field and Erika defeating Mako and his ocean creatures. The two advanced to the main tournament with Ryan left having to fight Bandit Keith, using his upgraded Machine deck and rigged coin tosses. However even with all of that, Ryan still defeated him with the power of God Phoenix Gearfried; a monster very powerful and dangerous to underestimate.
The three entered the main KC Cup. Who are the other duelists in the tournament?
And what will happen next?
And now the conclusion... a few days since the previous episode:
In her bedroom, Ichigo purrs happily working on her Deck once more. Having been accepted in the KC Cup, she wants to upgrade her deck a bit more so it can be ready for the worst… mostly being Kaiba or Yugi. Still she is excited to show her growth and to duel Yugi.
"I hope this slight upgrade works out Nya.'' She asks herself completely her upgraded deck with Love Dragon LV8 on the bottom of the deck. She sighs of relief just as a familiar voice suddenly speaks up. ''Need a warm-up duel?''
''NYA!'' Ichigo screams startled greatly falling off on her chair by Judai, standing behind her. He chuckles nervously as the cat girl gazes at him upsetting.
''J-Judai-kun?! W-warn me next time you enter my room without me knowing Nya!'' She yells at him partly anxiously by his declaration while breathing unease. Judai still chuckles not meaning to scared her like that apologizing. ''Sorry, just heard you made it to Kaiba-san's new tournament.''
Ichigo sighs pulling herself back to her feet and gives him a suspicious stare, asking him puzzle. ''Why didn't you join it Nya?''
In that moment Ichigo then panics imagining Judai beating everyone except Yugi or Kaiba, including herself like last time.
''No wait never mind Nya!'' She protests taking back her words. Judai blinks not following as he explains his reasons or well his protest. ''Well I wanted to but Edo and the others told me to drop it, scared we might screw up the timeline again. They think we mess up with joining Battle City V3.''
Ichigo blinks now not following. She's not like Ed when it came with them going into the future of the Crystal Tokyo event against Black Moon that it might screw up the past. Still she can't really be too sure so it's probably for the best especially since she has a chance to win the tournament or duel Yugi.
''I guess? Not sure Nya.'' She says still not sure. Judai just smiles agreeing as he says. ''I know right! So… want to duel me again?''
Ichigo shivers a bit as she happily refuses. ''I would like to but no thanks Nya. I should duel someone who won't whoop be easily.''
Judai hums not so happy about the refusal but she's not wrong, he is pretty good. Yubel giggles inside his mind, agreeing with the cat girl on that.
''I should duel someone of my level at least Nya.'' Ichigo says wanting to feel at least confident than lose hard. Ed walks in having overheard that and says in his usual tone. ''Pretty lame excuse.''
Ichigo narrows her eyes gazing at the alchemist calling him off upset. ''Well nobody asked you Eddy!''
Ed groans still hating that name. Then Alicia and Usagi walk in giggling. Ichigo blinks asking puzzle. ''And why is Cousin Usagi-chan here Nya?''
''Well I just wanted to hang out!'' Usagi proclaims in her usual cheerful way. Ichigo purrs joyfully but then she catches the smell of bread being baked and declares upset. ''You just want Alicia-chan's bread Nya!''
Usagi laughs but slowly becomes a nervous wreck. She sobs eyeing at Alicia, pleading with her. ''Can I?''
Alicia sighs as she can't deny bread to anyone. ''You can.''
''YEA!'' Usagi burst out of joy, so happy that she hugs Alicia. Ichigo sweat drops still smiling until she hears the door bell ringing.
''The door Nya!'' Ichigo yells out rushing off downstairs. The others follow her just as Ichigo gets down and opens the door with Erika standing on the other side.
''Erika-chan?'' The red cherry head mutters out surprise to see her. Erika, smiling, bows down respectfully. Judai pops his head behind Ichigo's shoulder and tells her. ''Hey! Come in!''
Ichigo gazes at him with Judai whistling nervously. Erika nods removing her shoes at the house entrance.
''Thank you, I wanted to see Ichigo.'' Erika explains her reasons of being here. Ichigo blinks as this is the second time her best friend showed up without giving her a heads up.
''Everything okay Nya?'' She asks pretty worrying. Erika nods staring at her and smiles asking her. ''… Ichigo, duel me please.''
This surprises Ichigo and everyone else.
''Nya?!'' The cat girl utters out in shock with Judai immediately agreeing. ''I wanna-''
Ichigo pushes him aside quickly and asks her black haired friend. ''How come, Erika-chan?''
Erika answers her smiling. ''Well the main tournament is coming up soon and this could be a good chance for us to be ready. Besides, it could be a good warm up for us both.''
Ichigo thinks about it and she knew the answer without thinking much about it. Smiling back, Ichigo responds joyfully. ''… I would love to Erika-chan!''
Erika smiles back hoping so. Usagi gasps excitedly with Alicia kinda wanting to see this as did Ed.
''Then let's take it outside ladies!'' Judai declares just as enthusiastically to see the duel.
Ichigo agrees as did Erika as everyone went outside the house. Both girls set on their Duel Disks.
Ed eyes Usagi watching very astounding. He could tell she's never seen a duel before as he warns her from his experience. ''A duel can be pretty confusing, hope your head doesn't spin.''
Alicia sweat drops admitting she did have to take a while to learn what a duel was. She tells Usagi in an encouraging tone. ''If you get confused what they're doing, you can ask me because I understand this game now.''
''That's cool!'' Usagi oddly replies in a cheerful tone as if not worry. Alicia oddly sweat drops by her way of acting.
Ichigo and Erika stare down at the other, shuffling and sliding their Decks in their Duel Disks as they activated.
''Ready Erika-chan?'' Ichigo asks her purring almost excited for this. Erika simply winks, replying determine yet happy. ''Ready when you are, Ichigo.''
Ichigo giggles softly not going to hold any punches.
''Duel!'' Both best friends declare with a smile, drawing their top 5 cards and
Duel Screen: Ichigo Momomiya: 4000LP vs. Erika Aoyama: 4000LP
Ed hums as he has a good feeling Erika will likely win this duel so he smirks asking the others. ''Any bets?''
''1000 on Cousin Ichigo-chan!'' Usagi immediately declares pulling out a yen of 1000. Ed rolls his eyes betting back at her pulling out his yens. ''2000 on Erika already.''
He then eyes Judai knowing he's the best expert on this and asks him. ''Judai, how about you?''
Judai hums never a betting man especially since he loves making his own luck. He does though smirk having a funny feeling in his bone and states. ''A draw or undecided.''
Ed makes a stunned face at him muttering out as did Usagi a bit taken back too. ''Seriously?''
''I have a hunch.'' Judai simply states with a small smirk. Alicia thinks about it and nods adding. ''I'm with Judai.''
Edward scoffs really doubting the duel will end that way. He's pretty sure Erika might win as she caused problems for Yugi but Usagi knows of Ichigo's win against Kaiba and he's a big deal too.
Ichigo and Erika weren't even paying attention to them as Erika asks her friend smiling. ''You can go first Ichigo.''
''Thank you Erika-chan!'' Ichigo replies joyfully accepting to lead first.
Duel Screen: Turn 1_ Ichigo: 4000LP H: 5 / Erika: 4000LP H: 5
''My turn, draw Nya!'' Ichigo shouts drawing her top card. She eyes her hand, looking back at Erika.
''Erika-chan has a powerful gamble-like prediction deck. She'll know what she'll get almost all the time so I have to be on my toes Nya.'' Ichigo reminds herself mentally as she recalls many of Erika's duels and knows how powerful she is.
''I summon Cat Hunter Nya!'' Ichigo calls out summoning her black fur, scarred but not damaged eye cat with a sword in her fangs.
Cat Hunter Lvl 4 ATK: 1800 DEF: 800
''Next I set a card facedown Nya. Turn end!'' Ichigo declares setting a card behind her monster, ending her turn.
Duel Screen: Turn 2_ Ichigo: 4000LP H: 4 / Erika: 4000LP H: 5
Erika stares at her friend not surprise by her first turn.
"Starting strong like always.'' She comments mentally as she starts her turn. ''My turn, I draw!''
Erika draws her top card and smirks summon a monster. ''From my hand, I will Special Summon Hidden Scorpion to the field!''
A darkest brown scorpion with a shadow-like claws and tail appears on her field.
Hidden Scorpion Lvl 2 ATK: 200 DEF: 1000
''Hidden Scorpion can be Special Summoned if I control no monsters on my field.'' Erika explains how she summoned her monster. Ichigo watches having a bad feeling what might happen next.
''I now release Hidden Scorpion to Tribute Summon Venomous Scorpion!'' Erika then declares releasing her monster to bring out her stronger deathly poisonous scorpion monster.
Venomous Scorpion Lvl 7 ATK: 2000 DEF: 2000
Usagi blinks surprised and this catches Alicia's notice, giggling, as she had the same thing happen to her.
''Oh this is a good one. See Erika-'' Alicia tries explaining what happened but then Usagi gasps and utters out amazed. ''OH! The monster's effect right that allows it to be tribute with one less monster?''
Alicia widens her eyes stunned as was Ed blink awkwardly.
''You know Usagi-chan?'' Judai asks her pretty amazed. Usagi eyes him and nods answering him. ''Yep! I have dueled before.''
''You what?!'' Ed yells out loudly. Ichigo overhears that and giggles forgetting to tell the others that her cousin did used to play Duel Monsters before. She was pretty good as a kid, not Yugi genius-type but still good.
Judai grins excitedly to be aware Usagi is a duelist as he as asks her. ''Can I see your deck?!''
''Hmm… I don't remember where I left it.'' Usagi, with her silly yet innocent forgetful face, says not able to remember. Judai, staring stunned, drops his head in shame. Alicia pats his back to comfort the poor idiot.
Erika sweat drops resuming her turn. ''Anyway, I can tribute 1 monster less if it was a Scorpion or Vision monster. Plus Venomous Scorpion gains 1000 ATK and I take 500 of damage Nya.''
Erika's monster shoots out a powerful energy venom-like blast at Ichigo. She braces herself taking the 500, her Life Points dropping to 3500.
''Not only that but I use Hidden Scorpion's effect!'' Erika then adds pulling out her deck explaining. ''If my monster leaves the field, I can Special Summon a Scorpion monster from my Deck, Hand or Graveyard.''
Ichigo brushes off the damage as she declares flipping over her set card. ''Then I chain that effect with my own set card, Paw Pouncing!''
Her trap flips over glowing as Ichigo explains smiling. ''Now since you activated a card effect, I can Special Summon a furry friend to the field Nya.''
She pulls out her deck and picks her monster, summoning it. ''Help assist your friends, Decoy Kitten!''
A beige colored kitten wearing a police cap and a large ''STOP'' sign with a cat's paw on the middle appears on her field, purring in a cute manner.
Decoy Kitten Lvl 2 ATK: 0 DEF: 0
Erika, smirking, proceeds to do the same summoning her own monster too. ''Then also come out too, Millennium Scorpion!''
A grey millennium-eye like scorpion appears.
Millennium Scorpion Lvl 5 ATK: 2000 DEF: 1800
Ichigo, knowing she's facing against two strong monsters, just smirks revealing to her opponent. ''Now you can't attack Cat Hunter since Decoy Kitten will intercept your attacks and my kitten can't be destroyed 3 times per battle! That's four attacks you need to make Nya!''
Erika is very much aware of that and proceeds with her turn smirking. ''Battle! Millennium Scorpion, attack Decoy Kitten!''
''Nya? But why?'' Ichigo questions out loud very confuse by Erika's move. Millennium Scorpion charges at Decoy Kitten holding up its stop sign to stop the monster's attack but before it could Erika quickly plays a card from her hand. ''In the Battle Step, I activate the Quick-Play Spell Forbidden Chalice! And with this, your kitten gains 400 ATK but has its effects negated this turn.''
''Nya?!'' Ichigo yells out in shock as Decoy Kitten's sign suddenly vanishing, causing the monster to panic as Millennium Scorpion strikes it with its claw, destroying it.
''And now Millennium Scorpion's ATK goes up by 500 due to its effect when it destroys a monster by battle and sends it to the Graveyard.'' Erika explains with a small smirk as her monster goes up to 2500 ATK. She then commands with her remaining monster. ''Now Venomous Scorpion, attack Cat Hunter!''
The other scorpion charges at Ichigo's last monster with its venomous claws. Cat Hunter engages Venomous Scorpion, both monsters clashing claws to stinger and sword mouth.
''Cat Hunter gains 400 ATK when it battles a monster.'' Ichigo proclaims as her monster shoots up to 2200ATK but still far weaker for Erika who protests with a small smirk. ''Still not strong for this! Venomous Claw!''
Venomous Scorpion's claws glow and swings them, firing a powerful energy slash from them. The attack hits through Cat Hunter, destroying it. Ichigo gasps as she takes 800 of damage and her Life Points once more drops to 2700.
''I set 2 cards facedown. I end my turn.'' Erika declares setting two cards behind her monsters, ending her turn.
''Booming first start for Erika I'll admit.'' Ed says pretty impressed by Erika's explosive turn. He eyes Usagi and tells her pretty cocky-like. ''Pretty sure I'm winning this bet.''
Usagi groans upsetting still sure her cousin will turn the tables. She will!
Duel Screen: Turn 3_ Ichigo: 2700LP H: 4 / Erika: 4000LP H: 1
Ichigo slaps off the dirt she took from the attack, smiling how strong Erika is.
"Just like Erika-chan to keep her word.'' She says amazed by the type of duelist she is. But she's still sure she will turn the tables too declaring. ''But I can too Nya! My turn!''
Ichigo draws her top card. Erika eyes her set cards. Regardless what her friend tries, she has both Nightmare Predictions and Ordeal of a Traveler. She can handle anything… until a vision hits her mind, showing a powerful destructive hurricane blowing away her cards.
''I activate the spell, Heavy Storm Nya!'' Ichigo shouts immediately playing the card she drew. Erika startles up a bit as a massive storm gathers around them Usagi and Alicia both yelp gripping downward on their own skirts.
''With this, all Spell and Trap cards are destroyed Nya!'' Ichigo shouts as the storm covers everything and tears through all of Erika's Spell and Trap cards. Erika groans upsetting not expecting this.
''Next I activate the Field Spell, Love Kingdom Nya!'' Ichigo proceeds playing her field spell. The area around them changes into a beautiful meadow grounds and mountain scales with a large white castle behind Ichigo with many heart-shaped symbols or objects with the largest being the top, resembling a pink crystal heart.
''With my Field Spell's effect, by revealing Love Draw in my hand I can draw 1 card Nya.'' Ichigo explains revealing her Love card and draws another card. She then plays the card she revealed. ''Next I use the spell, Love Draw! I return Love Dragon LV10 from my hand to the bottom of my deck to draw 2 cards!''
She returns her higher level Love Dragon to draw 2 cards. Ichigo forms a smile revealing of those cards explaining. ''And since I drew Love Dragon LV4, I gain 500 LP Nya!''
Her Life Points went up to 3200.
''I summon Love Dragon LV4!'' Ichigo shouts summoning her teenage Love Dragon.
Love Dragon LV4 Lvl 4 ATK: 1500 DEF: 1600
''Love Kingdom's effect lets me gain 500 LP when I summon a Love Dragon monster Nya!'' Ichigo explains smiling as her Life Points went up to 3700. She then activates another card in her hand. ''I activate the spell, Triple Love! With this, I can level up a Love Dragon monster by +3! I evolve Love Dragon LV4 into Love Dragon LV7!''
Love Dragon LV4 roars engulf in bright energy, evolving it all the way to the young adult LV7.
Love Dragon LV7 Lvl 7 ATK: 2500 DEF: 2000
''Love Kingdom's effect Nya!'' Ichigo shouts as her Life Points went up to 4200LP. She then adds with a wink. ''Love Dragon LV7's effect, I gain 400 LP!''
Her dragon releases a wave of energy surrounding Ichigo, shooting her Life Points to 4600.
Ed staggers a bit worry by Ichigo's ability to heal her Life Points that quick but Erika still has more monsters so-
''I activate the spell, Level Up! I once more evolve my Love Dragon +1!'' Ichigo suddenly declares activating another spell to Edward's horror and Usagi's cheering. ''GO COUSIN ICHIGO-CHAN!''
Love Dragon LV7 roars crossing its wings around itself as it starts glowing brightly.
''Please bring forth the light of hope! Let your love shine brighter than power alone!'' Ichigo chants passionate with a smile as the glowing dragon roars. ''Flap your lovely wings, Love Dragon LV8!''
By spreading its wings, the Love Dragon emerges in its beautiful form. The young teenager has evolved into a fully grown adult dragon with her wings shaped becoming more like the two sides of a heart and has gain a heart-shaped red gem over her chest. It roars, shining brightly its clear emerald colored eyes with its cruelly-like horns.
Love Dragon LV8 Lvl 8 ATK: 3000 DEF: 2300
Once more Love Kingdom's effect triggers as Ichigo's Life Points went up to 5100LP. In that moment Ichigo announces with a small smirk. ''Love Dragon LV8's effect inflicts 500 of damage to you each time my Life Point increases.''
Love Dragon roars releasing a small burst of flames at the opponent. Erika braces taking 500 of damage, her Life Points dropping to 3500.
''Next I use Love Dragon LV8's effect to reveal Love Kingdom on my field so I can gain another 500LP Nya.'' Ichigo then declares as her Life Points went up again to 5600 and then Erika says. ''And once more I take damage then?''
Ichigo giggles nodding. Love Dragon fires another fireball at Erika who braces herself. Erika's Life Points once more drops to 3000.
''And between the difference of our Life Points while mines is higher, Love Dragon LV8's ATK shoots up Nya! Love Growth!'' Ichigo declares passionate. Love Dragon LV8 roars gaining 2600 ATK boost, shooting up to 5600ATK. Erika panics greatly from this that if Ichigo attacks either of her monsters, she's done for.
Ed sweats heavily with Usagi giggling. Alicia gulps how scary Ichigo is when dueling too while Judai whistles.
''Battle! Love Dragon LV8, attack Millennium Scorpion Nya!'' Ichigo commands as her dragon gathers energy in its mouth and releases it all as a heart-shaped mouth blast. ''Love Burst Surprise!''
The blast fires off and quickly consumes everything in its path going towards Erika's monster. However, due to her experience against Yugi, Erika was ready for this declaring as she reveals a card in her hand. ''I activate Guardian of Visions – Emi from my hand!''
Ichigo startles as Erika explains. ''Her effect lets me excavate the top card of my deck and if I can declare its Type correctly, I negate your attack and I add the card I drew. I choose Spell!''
Erika draws her top card and smirks revealing it to be a Spell, a Visions Spell Card. Ichigo panics as the monster intercepts Love Dragon LV8's powerful attack, stopping it in its track.''
''Plus since I drew a Visions card, instead of sending Emi to the Graveyard, I can Special Summon her instead!'' Erika then announces summoning her monster. Appearing on Erika's field is a beautiful short brown haired female wearing mirror-like armor while wielding a large mirror-like shield.
Guardian of Visions – Emi Lvl 4 ATK: 400 DEF: 2100
Judai whistles with Ed commenting. ''Man that wasn't half bad.''
''Aw, Cousin Ichigo-chan was so close too.'' Usagi mutters out upset lowering her head in shame.
''You guys are taking this too serious.'' Alicia says sweat dropping heavily.
Ichigo ignores them giggling at Erika's play, proclaiming. ''Amazing play Erika-chan.''
Erika giggles back winking as she responds. ''I learn that from my duel against Yugi. I mustn't let my guard off like that again.''
Ichigo giggles oddly agreeing with her. She eyes the last card in her and declares setting it. ''I set a card facedown and I end my turn Nya.''
A face-down card materializes behind her dragon, finishing her turn. Erika eyes it but not beaten as she'll turn the tables.
Who will come out on top in this friendly duel?
Commercial Break:
Ichigo: Erika-chan, I won't lose Nya. I'll give it my all!
Erika: Ichigo, I'll give it my best! Show me what you got.
The group watches the duel still going on and Ed is still pretty confident Erika will win, even saying it out right. "Pretty sure Erika will win.''
''Well I still think Cousin Ichigo-chan will win Eddy!'' Usagi immediately protests believing in her cousin's dueling skills and her massive Love Dragon LV8.
Ed once more snaps by the nickname, ranting out like a madman. ''WHY DO YOU PEOPLE STILL CALL ME THAT NAME?!''
''Would you prefer Metal Arm?'' Judai asks him with Ed groaning almost just as mad, simply putting it. ''Nope.''
Judai just smirks hoping that answers his question. Alicia giggles questioning on the winner of this duel. ''I am curious who's going to win…''
''Yea but they're enjoying themselves more.'' Judai points out seeing their faces of excitement.
Duel Screen: Turn 4_ Ichigo: 5600LP H: 0 / Erika: 3000LP H: 1
''My turn, draw!'' Erika declares drawing her top card. She eyes it and plays the other spell in her hand. ''I activate the spell, Exchange of Visions.''
The card materializes showing the image of some of the Vision Monsters like Knight of Visions – Hitomi, Archer of Visions – Nico and Priestess of Visions – Mirai emerging through a reflecting mirror-like portal. Erika explains her card's effect. ''I can return non-Vision monsters I control back to my Deck to Special Summon as many Vision Monsters from my deck equal to the number I have just returned. I return Venomous Scorpion and Millennium Scorpion!''
Both her scorpions vanish from her field. Erika returns them back to her Deck as she pulls out two new cards and summons them. ''Now come out, Scout of Visions – Naoko and Caster of Visions – Umeko!''
Two new Visions monsters appear on her field.
Naoko is a beautiful female monster wearing stealth-like clothes with mirror-like shoulderpads, wrist bands and ankle bands. She wields a pair of twin mirror-like kunais.
Umeko is a young priestess-like monster wearing elegant priestess-like clothes but mirror theme while wielding a short wand with a mirror-like tip.
Scout of Visions – Naoko Lvl 3 ATK: 1500 DEF: 1100
Caster of Visions – Umeko Lvl 1 ATK: 100 DEF: 1200
''Naoko's effect lets me reveal the top card of my deck and if I guess its Type correctly, I shuffle the card back to my Deck and then I can add 1 card of the same Type as the card I excavated from my Deck to my hand.'' Erika declares using her Scout' effect and proceeds to guess her top card. ''I guess Spell!''
She draws her card and reveals it to be Desert of Futures. She returns the Field Spell to add a different Spell and proceeds to play it. ''I now add and activate the spell, Treasure of Visions!''
The spell appears showing the image of mirror-like treasure room. She explains her card's effect. ''With this I can draw a card for each Vision monster I control.''
Erika draws 3 cards and forms a small smirk playing one of the cards she got. ''I activate the spell, Pre-Preparation of Rites! Now I add both a Ritual Monster and Ritual Spell that requires one and the other.''
Ichigo gulps having a good feeling what cards Erika would pick and indeed it was the ones to summon her ace monster.
''I activate the Ritual Spell, Ritual of Visions!'' Erika declares activating her Ritual Spell. A large mirror reflecting morning and night appears on her field hovering over her and her monsters.
''I release Emi, Naoko and Umeko on my field.'' Erika announces as all three of her Vision monsters were turned into lights and shoot into the mirror. The mirror glows as Erika chants. "I call upon the power of the future and its visions to come true to grant me the power to win. Lead me to my victory and the path that follows!''
The mirror glows and shatters but into light surrounding to take the form of a female being.
''Ritual Summon! I summon the maiden of the future, Lady of Visions – Janne!" Erika chants as a monster emerges out from the light. It reveals a beautiful woman with long black hair as she wears a shrine maiden's clothing as they were black top and white skirt with a mirror-like accessory on the chest. She holds a large staff as its tip is a mirror reflecting the cycle of time, the sun changing with the moon.
Lady of Visions – Janne Lvl 8 ATK: 2500 DEF: 2100
Ichigo groans unease as Erika then announces with a wink. ''I now use Caster of Visions – Umeko's effect since she left the field as Tribute for a Vision card, I can excavate the top card of my Deck and if I guess it correctly, I can then Special Summon a Vision monster from my Deck or Graveyard and return the card on the bottom of my Deck. I guess Trap!''
She draws her top card and reveals it to be Illusion Visions.
''Now appear, Dragon of Visions – Aisling!'' Erika calls forth as a large dragon that has mirror-like armor with white-golden design and a pair of crimson eyes appears behind her. The monster lets out a powerful roar at Ichigo and Love Dragon.
Dragon of Visions – Aisling Lvl 8 ATK: 2700 DEF: 2000
Erika returns the trap she drew to the top of her bottom of her Deck and then declares. ''I use Aisling's effect, excavating the top card of my Deck and if I guess it correctly, I add it to my hand and my monster gains 500 ATK. I guess Spell!''
She reveals her top card to be a new Equip Spell as Aisling's ATK shoots up to 3200. Erika then plays the card she added. ''I equip Janne with the Equip Spell, Inner Venom Burst!''
The card shows the image of Venomous Scorpion surrounded in a brighter dark orange aura taking the form of a larger scorpion. The same is happening to Janne surrounding her in the same aura.
''Thanks to this Equip Spell, Janne gains 1000 ATK and when she battles, I negate all cards my opponent controls.'' Erika explains with a small smirk as her monster goes up to 3500 ATK. Ichigo gulps a bit as Erika declares. ''Battle! Janne, attack Love Dragon LV8!''
Janne lets out a screeching shout before aiming her staff forward.
''Vision Venom Magic!'' Erika commands as Janne fires a powerful, more orange version of her reflecting magic blast. The blast is able to hit Love Dragon LV8 and negate its effect, destroying it instantly. Ichigo groans by the damage as her Life Points took 500 of damage, dropping to 5100LP.
''Aisling, attack Ichigo directly!'' Erika orders as her dragon roars and breathes a burst of reflecting flames. ''Vision Flame!''
The flames consume and hit Ichigo directly. Ichigo hesitates eyeing her set card but didn't try to activate it knowing Janne's effect would negate it.
''NYAA!'' The cat girl yelps sent flying back. She hits her back on the ground as her Life Points drop lower again, stopping at 1900LP.
Erika sighs calmly as she resumes setting a few cards behind her monsters. ''I set 2 cards facedown. My turn is over.''
Two face-down cards materializes behind Erika's monster, certain she has the means in protecting her cards.
Duel Screen: Turn 5_ Ichigo: 1900LP H: 0 / Erika: 3000LP H: 1
Ichigo pants heavily as she gets back up. She groans brushing off the dirt of the damage she took and yet she's not beaten yet.
''T-this is bad…'' Usagi says worrying for her cousin's situation. Ed knew this would happen proclaiming. ''Well I'm calling it.''
Erika overhears that and smiles asking Ichigo. ''You're not done yet are you?''
''Me? Never Nya!'' Ichigo, smirking, responds still determine she will win. Erika giggles expecting no less from her calling her out just as determined. ''Show me what you got then Ichigo!''
Ichigo nods as she precedes shouting out. ''I will Nya! My turn!''
She draws her top card, eyeing it for a moment before triggering her set card. ''I activate the Trap, Reborn of Love! With this, I can revive any Love Dragon, ignoring its Summoning conditions Nya!''
Her trap shines as it shows the image of the silhouette of Love Dragon LV8. Erika eyes it almost about to let this through but knowing Ichigo, she could draw a Love card to combo more or worst has the means to end the duel. She can't risk it declaring. ''I won't let that happen! I activate Janne's effect. I guess the top card of my Deck and if I'm correct, I add it and negate your card's effect. I guess Monster!''
She draws her top card and reveals it to be Millennium Scorpion. Janne immediately creates a mirror-like octagon barrier surrounding Ichigo's trap and reflects a light in the barrier, shattering the card.
''OH NO!'' Usagi yells in horror. Ed smirks not needed to repeat himself. However Judai just smirks by the look Erika had.
Erika, instead of smiling, startles by the smiling expression on Ichigo's face. The cat girl purrs telling her playfully. ''I wanted you to do that Nya.''
Edward now startles with Usagi gasping of joy. Ichigo holds up the card she drew and plays it smiling. ''I activate the spell, Card of Sanctity Nya! Now we draw until we have 6 cards in our hand!''
Erika sighs smiling not having a counter for that, kinda wishing she got Illusion Visions earlier. Both girls draw cards until they had 6 cards each.
Ichigo smirks declaring as she summons a monster. ''I summon Love Magician!''
A redheaded female girl resembling Ichigo appears wearing a darkish pink witch-like outfit with heart-shaped symbols on it and wielding a cute wand with a heart-shaped tip.
Love Magician Lvl 3 ATK: 1200 DEF: 500
''Love Magician's effect lets me Special Summons a Love Dragon monster from my hand or Graveyard between Levels 1-6 and I choose Love Dragon LV4!'' Ichigo declares as her younger Love Dragon returns to her field.
Love Dragon LV4 Lvl 4 ATK: 1500 DEF: 1600
Love Kingdom's effect triggers as Ichigo's Life Points went up to 2400LP.
''It won't do you much against Janne and Aisling.'' Erika points almost certain Ichigo will surprise her. Ichigo just smirks questioning that.
''I wonder about that Nya. I activate the Ritual Spell, Love Magic Ritual!'' Ichigo proclaims pretty cocky activating her Ritual Spell. As she played it a large magical circle seal in shape of a heart appears on the ground surrounded by two ceremonial rods with the tops having large pink heart-shaped jewels.
The card itself showed Love Magician performing a Ritual with the souls of Love Dragon LV1 and LV5 on both side of her shoulders, consume within a pillar of pink light.
''Oh wow a Ritual Card!'' Judai shouts out excitedly not expecting this. Erika is also surprised not aware that Ichigo had access to Ritual Summoning too.
''With this Ritual Spell, I can Ritual Summon a Love Ritual Monster from my hand or Deck and I must use Love monsters for its tributes from my Field or hand as long as Love Magician is on my hand or Field.'' Ichigo explains her powerful Ritual Spell not needing the Ritual Monster in her hand. She proceeds selecting her sacrifices. ''Now I release Love Magician and Love Dragon LV4 on my field along with Love Dragon LV2 from my hand to perform a Ritual Summon.''
The redhead magician surrounds herself in a heart-shaped circle as Love Dragons LV4 and LV2 offers its energy to the rods, vanishing. The female monster closes her eyes as the circles glows and shots a pillar of pink light through her.
''With your binding connection to the Dragons of Hope and Love, let your true Magic awakened and protect everyone you possibly can!'' Ichigo chants as within the pillar her monster lets out soft moans. There the spirit of her Love Dragons infuses with Love Magician, aging and changing her form and shape.
The pillar explodes as Ichigo calls out excitedly. ''Ritual Summon! Mage of Love! Sorceress of the Love Dragons!''
Emerging from the pillar of light is no doubt Love Magician except she wasn't the same. She emerges fully grown as an attractive young woman. Her outfit has heavily change, wearing a white and pink linings, heart shaped open chest, collar neck dress that shows her attractive cleavage with a long open side split skirt that exposes her left leg. She wears long, pink-white high heel boots with a strapped that went upward into her skirt, only exposing the left side. She wears fingerless, elbow length white gloves with pink ribbon straps. She also wore a white witch's hat with a pink, heart-shaped emblem on the middle and the top had a feather of a Love Dragon. The hat also is tied around by a large pink ribbon on the right side of her body. The dress has pink shoulder-pads that resemble dragon scales with a horn on each end. She also wears a white, dragon scale-like belt with a large pink belt buckle with a heart-shaped emerald on the middle. On top of that she has pink dragon wings and tail resembling a Love Dragon as well as pointy ears.
She carries a long scepter with the bottom having a reverse pink heart gem and the top being a dragon's head that resembles Love Dragon LV8 with another gem attached on it along with a pair of small dragon wings. Her longer red hair and almost lustful brown eyes with pink glowing slitted pupils glance over posing sexy, licking her soft red lips.
Sorceress of the Love Dragons Lvl 9 ATK: 2800 DEF: 2100
Alicia sweat drops not expecting such a sexual monster. Usagi felt the same blushing redder.
Love Kingdom's effect triggers again as Ichigo's Life Points went up to 2900LP.
Erika watches unease by this new monster as Ichigo announces smirking. ''I activate my Sorceress's effect; target Love Dragon LV8 in my Graveyard to gain its effects and half of its original ATK until the End Phase! Love Magic Transfer!''
Sorceress of the Love Dragons swirl her specter and jabs its bottom part on the ground. Swirls of magic fly out from the ground surrounding her and taking the spiritual energy form of Love Dragon LV8. Sorceress smirks gaining the dragon's powers as her ATK shoots up to 4300.
''Next I use Sorceress of the Love Dragons' effect of Love Dragon LV8, revealing a Love card so I gain 500LP!'' Ichigo declares using Love Kingdom as the reveal so her Life Points go up to 3400LP. She then adds smirking. ''Next due to Sorceress' effect still being Love Dragon LV8's, you take 500 of damage when I gain Life Points.''
Sorceress swirls her specter and fires a powerful fireball similar to Love Dragon LV8, blasting her opponent. Erika takes the 500 of damage, her Life Points dropping to 2500LP.
''Next I activate the Quick-Play Spell, Fever of Love!'' Ichigo declares playing a new spell. It shows the image of Love Dragon LV7 almost drunk releasing sparks of life energy across everywhere. Ichigo explains her card's effect- ''By targeting a Love monster, I gain Life Points x its Level by 200 plus my monster is unaffected by your cards until the end of the next turn Nya! I target my Sorceress!''
Sorceress of the Love Dragons giggles flapping her wings as she releases sparks of energy around Ichigo. The cat girl purrs as she gains 1800LP. Her current Life Points is now 5200.
''Next I use Sorceress effect of Love Dragon LV8 again Nya!'' Ichigo then adds as her Sorceress fires another fireball this time with her free hand, hitting her enemy. Erika takes another 500 of damage as her current Life Points is 2000.
Erika brushes off the damage still confident this won't beat her since she has Inner Venom Burst in play, declaring. ''I still have Inner Venom Burst which makes Janne your only target. You can't do anything but end your turn.''
''Are you sure Nya?'' Ichigo suddenly questions her which startles Erika. The red cherry head smirks as she announces. ''I use Sorceress of the Love Dragons' true effect, targeting up to 3 cards and those cards will be unaffected by other card effects until the End Phase but they cannot attack, change their Battle Positions or activate their effects Nya!''
Erika widens her eyes as Ichigo chooses her cards. ''I target Inner Scorpion Burst and your two set cards Nya! Love Magic Bind!''
Sorceress taps her lips with a sly smirk and blows a kiss that becomes 3 physical pink hearts that hit her targets. Erika could have chain one of her set cards to activate but it would be likely it won't do her any good with Ichigo's monster unaffected by other cards. She groans letting it go as her 3 cards are stunned by the hearts. Janne's ATK was still 3500 but Erika can't activate her Equip Spell's effect now.
''Battle!'' Ichigo declares as she then adds with a wink. ''Sorceress also has Love Dragon LV8's Love Growth effect, powering her up in ATK between the differences of our Life Points Nya!''
Her monster shoots up from 4300ATK to 7500ATK. Edward gulps not believing this.
''Sorceress of the Love Dragons, attack Lady of Visions – Janne Nya!'' Ichigo orders as her sorceress takes flying. She hovers over Janne as she twirls and locks her specter pointing at her target. Swirls of magic gather on the tip of her magical weapon, forming a magical seal around it before Ichigo shouts. ''Love Magic Surprise!''
Sorceress smirks and answers firing a destructive blast through the magical seal, becoming larger and wider. Usagi cheers joyfully that Ichigo won but Erika isn't bested yet discarded a card from her hand.
''I discard Intercept Scorpion from my hand to activate its effect. Janne can't be destroyed this turn and I take half the damage too!'' Erika declares using the card she just discarded as it appears on her field. The monster resembles a shadow-like scorpion dashing almost like a shadow with its glowing brown eyes being the only thing that could be seen. It dashes right in between the blast at Janne, taking it while protecting her. Erika only took 1750 of damage, leaving her Life Points at 250 while her ace remains unscratched.
Usagi staggers before lowering her head in shame, muttering out. ''SO CLOSE…''
Ed pants heavily thinking he lost the bet.
Ichigo sighs but giggles at Erika's quick thinking, stating it happily. ''You're amazing Erika-chan.''
''I should be telling you the same Ichigo.'' Erika replies back smiling not expecting Ichigo to turn the tables again. She then adds with a determine face. ''I still got plenty of tricks left you know.''
Ichigo giggles at this as she answers back determined. ''Then this duel is far from over Erika-chan!''
''Then let's keep going.'' Erika says wanting to see which one of them will win. Ichigo giggles never feeling this kind of rush. She realizes this is what it means to duel someone close to you. She's happy and she doesn't want this feeling to end.
''I-'' Ichigo begins to declare proceeding her turn until her cellphone suddenly starts ringing. She blinks by this.
''Nya?'' Ichigo mutters out pulling out her cellphone and checks the caller is her uncle Akumu. She eyes Erika and asks of her kindly. ''One moment.''
Erika nods letting her. Ichigo nods back answering her phone. ''Hello? Uncle? Oh hey, I'm so happy to hear from you-''
Ichigo then blinks more by what her uncle is telling her on the other line, uttering out. ''Huh? You need to see me now? Um I'm a middle of a duel. Can't this-''
She then pauses staggering by what her uncle is saying that he needs to see her now.
''Oh? Um…'' The red cherry head mutters upsetting. She eyes Erika, not wanting to leave before they could finish their exciting duel. She sighs not wanting to say no to her uncle but she had.
''I'll have to say-'' Ichigo begins to decline the meeting but Erika immediately protests, telling her with a smile. ''Ichigo, don't worry about it.''
Ichigo startles eyeing her friend, able to tell she means it. She asks her concerning, not wanting to end their duel. ''Are you sure Nya?''
Erika simply smiles, also not wanting to end this duel but she knows her best friend cares for everyone too. Who is she to deny her from spending time with her uncle who wants to see her niece?
Ichigo frowns sadden, eyeing her and finally asks her. ''You owe me a rematch Nya?''
''Promise.'' Erika answers with a smile and wink. Ichigo blushes softly sometimes questioning what made Erika have such loyalty for her. She smiles finally replying to her uncle. ''I'll be there Nya.''
She hangs up and bows to Erika, thanking her and apologizing too ''Another time Erika-chan!''
''We'll call it a next time! Enjoy yourself Ichigo!'' Erika responds with a smile with Ichigo giggling nodding.
Both deactivated their Duel Disks as their monsters vanish and the duel became undecided.

Ed and Usagi drop their jaws as Alicia watches Ichigo running off to see her uncle.
''W-What just happened?!'' Ed yells out still stunned with Usagi demanding just as paralyzed. "W-who wins then!''
Judai coughs with a small smirk, answering them. "That would be me. And I would like fried shrimp please!''
Ed groans not believing this while Usagi sighs wishing it was a baked sweet. Alicia oddly giggles from this.
Erika watches where Ichigo stood and sighs hoping she enjoys herself.
''You sure about that?'' The Inner Scorpion's voice speaks in Erika's mind, wondering if that was a good idea to leave her so-called best friend alone. Erika nods pretty sure as she answers her telepathically. ''Yes mother, I mean Ichigo cares a lot about her uncle and he does too…''
In that moment Erika frowns thinking back how the Dark Lord had possessed him and lying the fact that it was Akumu being the Dark Lord. It still puzzled how that whole reveal was and this unease feeling since then whenever Ichigo goes to see her uncle.
''Though something about him is still very unpleasant.'' Erika says not sure why but this feeling that there is more to her uncle than they know of him. The Inner Scorpion agrees with her daughter replying. ''Ditto.''
Ichigo and Erika's duel did not finish like how they wanted it but both were still happy to go at it to the other. Will this confidence be enough for the KC Cup?

Now I bet many of you got mad why I decided to leave the duel undecided… well because this idea was supposed to be used on Yugi but well you will see why next chapter. Also I want to do a rematch in which we will get a real conclusion but not yet. Also Akumu plotting is an excuse too.
