I am borrowing Erika Aoyama and Mew Erika from Redwallfan2000. Ichigo Momomiya is NOW 17 (Volume 4 to 10) years old than 12-13 like in the anime/manga. Hello to all, this is Episode 54 of the final Arc of Volume 4: KC Cup!

Intro: The Earth... is a great place where humanity and all other creatures live and learn to evolve little by little, but this great world has Darkness in it too. Evil beings who wish to conquer this world and everyone.
Only one being stood against them to show everyone the power of light and hope, but this great mythical dragon wasn't able to stop them. He gave his powers and hope to a human that was known by his name, the Dragon Knight!
Before this hero also met his end, he gave the legendary Dragon Sword and his hopes and dreams to the next knight, his youngest son who is destined to become a legend by the sides of his comrades and his love. This hero... is the Dragon Knight of Light!

Volume 4: Episode 54: Clashing the Past! The Growth of Passionate Duelists!
In the previous episode of DKR:
The day for the KC Cup had arrived with Ichigo and Erika arriving early and so the two took some time to train more.
Eventually all the duelists arrive for the tournament and before it began, Pegasus announced an exhibition match between himself and Kaiba. The duel pretty much went to Kaiba defeating Pegasus, going pass his Millennium-Eyes Restrict with his Blue-Eyes Alternative Ultimate Dragon.
The first duel of the KC Cup was going to be Yugi versus Raphael, a rematch to settle the score; however, L had other plans. He forced Kaiba to cooperate and demanded Yugi to be taken under his protection by the likelihood that Kira is going after him. With Ryan's suggestion and Kaiba's protesting, L agreed to hold Yugi for till the semi-finals.
With Yugi temporary gone, the bracket is forced to change. Who will duel now?
What will happen next?

The people in the stands all started to complain heavily that Yugi Mutou has left in the middle of a tournament. It's one thing the Duel King left but now it's an uneven tournament.
Danny arrives to see the mess and going on and asks puzzle. "So what's going on?''
Honda groans trying to call Yugi but nothing. He hangs up and says upset. ''I'm trying to call Yugi but nothing.''
''I wondered what happened.'' Usagi asks just as concern about it. Kurosaki crosses his arms worry what is going on too.
Judai, being the quietest, can't help but something is wrong. He gets up about to leave but Alicia asks him already staring at him. ''You're going to find him Judai?''
''I'm good at this kind of thing.'' Judai expresses with his cheerful tone. Alicia gives him a look to not try it; Yugi might have his reasons and it's not like he's in danger.
''It's probably best not to try it. I mean Yugi is well… yea, he'll be back probably.'' Naruto speaks up pretty sure that Yugi is fine. Alicia nods smiling in agreement.
Kurosaki agrees as well with Danny adding up. ''He has his reasons to not be here, we'll wait till he comes back and explains it.
Judai groans still wanting to look up where Yugi went but he can't argue with their reasons. He sighs finally agreeing somewhat. ''I guess…''
Alicia smiles as Judai sits back down, hoping Yugi is okay.
Unaware to the group, Akumu Momomiya is watching close by in the shadows, humming as his glowing red demonic dragon eyes piercing through his black sunglasses gazes down to the field. He hums wondering who took Yugi and why? Regardless, it won't matter; he'll make sure Yugi returns to die on this field, one way or another.
Ryan returns to the room with the other duelists and sees Ichigo worrying as was Jonouchi on the phone, calling Yugi and nothing.
''…'' He groans not believing L would do this. He recalls how he first met the guy. He was defending a client accuse as murderer and L was his opponent… as a lap computer speaking through it because he refused to show his true face. Ryan isn't worry as he will defend those truly innocent… of course he lost but L's true aim was revealing the true murder part of the jury. Ryan is baffled by this demanding how that is possible. L would explain it by revealing himself in a certain location. Ryan learned one thing about L: he's unpredictable.
Erika eyes Ichigo trying to call Yugi too and no luck.
''Worry about Yugi?'' She asks her best friend and Ichigo lets out a sigh, concerned with some tears dripping from her eyes. ''He's not answering me Nya…''
Ryan eyes her and just saddens up, having a momentary flashback of himself… crying at the coffin of his dead mother. He rubs his eyes to remove the image off his mind and approaches her, telling her in a happy tone. ''Don't worry! Yugi told me this is nothing to worry about.''
Ichigo startles wiping off the tears off her eyes and blushes… though she's still worry.
''T-thank you… but I hope, I hope Yugi-kun is okay and comes back Nya.'' She expresses hoping he's okay. Erika sighs nodding understanding her worries.
Ichigo still frowns wishing to duel Yugi but that just means she needs to earn reaching the Semi-Finals.
Pegasus rushes back to the stage, announcing to all through his microphone. ''Sorry for the long wait everyone! As promised, Yugi-boy will return in the Semi-Finals.''
Everyone watches him as he explains. ''For now we made the exceptions for one duelist to advance to the 2nd Round…''
He hesitates as he turns as the massive Blue-Eyes Bingo Machine emerges through the floor of the stage.
''With Kaiba-boy's gambling machine.'' Pegasus says rather unease by the massive machine. Kaiba steps up to the stage and corrects him upset. ''Bingo Machine.''
He then stares at the crowd and informs them while pointing to the large plasma screen over them. ''The duelists' names are written on a set of 3 orbs each. The machine will only pick one orb and whose name is on it will advance to the 2nd Round with their name showing on the screen.''
Ichigo gasps realizing if her name is picked then she can advance to the second round.
''Start.'' Kaiba proclaims snapping his finger. The bingo machine starts operating shooting the balls all inside of it to decide the winner.
''So whoever's name in the ball comes out is the one who will advanced?'' Jonouchi asks a little confused as this takes away the point of a tournament but he's not complaining if he wins it. Rebecca nods tapping her glasses up as she says eyeing the red cherry head. ''Basically so let's hope you advanced.''
Ichigo blinks immediately puzzle, asking her. ''Why Nya? Don't you?''
''… GOOD POINT! I was just testing you.'' Rebecca bursts out in reply, obviously faking her calm but really nervously expression, not thinking about it. Ichigo just smiles at Rebecca, able to tell she cares for her.
One of the duelists watches very closely as his eyes flash red under his hoodie for a moment.
As the bingo machine is running, Mokuba checks on the process of it until there's a strange glitch on his portable screen.
''Huh?'' Mokuba mutters by the strange error before it just vanishes seemingly repaired. The bingo machine spits out a ball that will be the duelist who will advance to the second round with no first round duel.
The ball is selected by another machine as the name shown on the large screen is Diederick Baumeister. Kaiba scoffs that this guy got to advance, not because he wanted the position but he is very suspicious by this individual.
''Well there goes that, shall we start the first round?'' Pegasus declares asking for the first duel. Kaiba groans and walks out of the stage, wanting to check something out about that. Pegasus coughs as he resumes as the screen shows the first two duelists. ''The first round will be these two talented duelists!''
Ichigo looks at the screen to see Jonouchi's image going up against that Australian Valon.
''Oh hey, you have to face that guy who also likes Mai-chan Nya!'' The red pigtail girl points out loudly. Mai grunts with her arms crossed while her face blushes red.
''HE DOES NOT-'' Jonouchi yells furious at Ichigo's statement but then startles by the one word she added, uttering upset. ''Also?! Who?! Better not be Mag-Magn-Magdumb!''
Mai stares at Jonouchi with a face of both disgust and embarrassment, speaking up with barely any emotion in her voice. ''… I laughed so hard that I lost the ability to laugh.''
Ichigo sweat drops agreeing with her as she asks the dirty colored blond headed. ''But you like her right Nya?''
''…'' Jonouchi crosses his arms not giving her an answer as he eyes towards Erika. Ichigo glares noticing that and warns him upset. ''It better not be because of your imagined idea that Erika-chan loves you!''
''But she does, right?'' Jonouchi questions her, wanting to believe that Erika does love her.
''…'' Now Ichigo is being the silent type, staring at him with both anger and stunned expressions. She sighs grunting as she orders him. ''Get going baka.''
Jonouchi blinks until he starts panicking that he should get going for his duel.
''Y-YEA…!'' He yells out rushing out in a hurry. Ichigo sighs shaking her head in shame.
Valon is already standing on the duel field and watches Jonouchi running like an idiot onto the field, panting heavily. He raises an eyebrow, asking his old rival. ''You alright?''
''HUFF… N-never better.'' Jonouchi utters out still breathing deeply and exhausted. Valon forms a small smirk, chuckling a bit how he hasn't change much.
''Guess this is our first duel without our souls on the line huh?'' Jonouchi then proclaims finding it humorous how their last duel was a life-and-death confliction. Valon smirks again at the irony of that and questions him. ''Scared I might beat you this time?''
Jonouchi starts up at him with determination burning in his eyes, declaring firmly. ''Far from it!''
''That's the spirit. I want Mai to see which one of us is the better man for her.'' Valon responds determined to finally show Mai which one of them is the better duelist. Jonouchi just ignores that and simply states cocky. ''And who sucks more but you know the answer.''
''Duel!'' Both duelists shout drawing their top cards, commencing the first duel of the tournament.
Duel Screen: Jonouchi Katsuya: 4000LP vs. Valon: 4000LP
Everyone watches including Mai most focus on this duel.
Valon chuckles at how ironic fate is to duel Jonouchi again but if he can beat him and prove his worth to Mai; it wouldn't hurt.
''Alright Katsuya, I'll gladly give you the first turn.'' Valon tells him certain with the hand he has. Jonouchi blinks by this, but isn't suspicious. Instead he accepts declaring. ''And you're going to regret that pal! Just a gut feeling!''
Duel Screen: Turn 1_ Jonouchi: 4000LP H: 5 / Valon: 4000LP H: 5
''Let's go! My turn, draw!'' Jonouchi declares drawing his top card. He eyes it and startles a bit, frowning a bit that he drew this card. Call it irony to use this card but he'll have to use it if he wants to win. He sighs as he proclaims, revealing his ace monster in his hand. ''I release Red-Eyes Black Dragon from my hand!''
Everyone startles as Jonouchi sends Red-Eyes to his Graveyard.
''Let your crimson flames become the jet black stream of courage!'' Jonouchi begins to chant as flames form over him, burning rapidly almost like lava.
''Burn even hotter, Red-Eyes Alternative Black Dragon!'' Jonouchi shouts forth summoning a new monster. Emerging from the flames is a new Red-Eyes monster resembling like the original except its black dragon scales are darker, its body more refine and sharper, its head is more wyvern-like and its body and wings have red lining glowing across it. The black dragon with red eyes roars furious.
Red-Eyes Alternative Black Dragon Lvl 7 ATK: 2400 DEF: 2000
Valon startles as did almost everyone else.
''Another Alterative dragon monster Nya. Wonder where he got it.'' Ichigo mutters out shock to see Jonouchi having his own Alternative monster like Kaiba.
Jonouchi looks up to the window of Kaiba's VIP room. He groans not believing he got his new Red-Eyes from him of all people but he's not complaining. He still didn't get why he gave him this card but well it is a strong card at the least.
''I set a card facedown!'' The dirty colored blond headed declares setting a face-down Spell/Trap card behind his new Red-Eyes before calling it a turn. ''Turn end!''
Duel Screen: Turn 2_ Jonouchi: 4000LP H: 3 / Valon: 4000LP H: 5
Valon whistles not expecting something this new but he's still confident about his chances.
''Not bad Katsuya but I'll top this perfectly. My turn!'' Valon declares drawing his top card. He moves to a card in his hand and plays it. ''I'll start by activate the spell, Full Armor Gravitation! With this, I excavate the top 10 cards in my Deck and next I can Special Summon as many Armor monsters from those cards and the rest are banished.''
He grabs and views the top 10 cards and grabs only 5, banishing the rest.
''Together, I summon Psychic Armor Head, Active Guard, Over Boost, Buster Pyle and Trap Buster!'' Valon calls forth his five monster pieces.
Emerging are five pieces resembling like a white-blue colored robotic armor with a helmet, chest armor, armored legs, a left arm and a right arm with twin missiles.
Psychic Armor Head Lvl 4 ATK: 0 DEF: 500
Active Guard Lvl ATK: 0 DEF: 2500
Over Boost Lvl 4 ATK: 0 DEF: 1000
Buster Pyle Lvl 4 ATK: 0 DEF: 0
Trap Buster Lvl 3 ATK: 0 DEF: 0
Now all monster pieces combine with Valon's body and once complete, he lets out a shout now wearing the armor.
Erika startles while Ichigo, astonish, shouts in amazement. ''WOAH NYA?! HE COMBINED WITH HIS MONSTERS NYA!''
Ryan nods just as amazed too. Mai sighs having seen this already though she does say from her experience. ''The good thing is that Valon can only attack with one of his monsters… but they can protect the other with dangerous effects.''
Rebecca nods too gulping. She knows how dangerous those pieces are too.
''Here I come, battle! Buster Pyle, attack Red-Eyes Alternative Black Dragon!'' Valon commands as he himself launches at Jonouchi's dragon. He shouts thrusting the Buster Pyle arm. ''Pyle Shoot!''
''Fire back, Dark Mega Burn!'' Jonouchi counters back as Red-Eyes releases a more devastating glowing fireball blast. The two attacks collide and clash into an explosion. Everyone watches as smoke surrounds the field and the first to emerge is Valon, jumping back still wearing His Buster Pyle.
''I take no Battle Damage from battles involving Buster Pyle and it cannot be destroyed by battle but after the battle, it destroys the monster it attacked and you take 500 of damage!'' Valon explains as he knows Jonouchi's Life Points drop by 500 and his dragon destroyed in that attack.
''There goes your-'' Valon begins to say with a smirk until flames burn out from the smoke to his shock. ''What the…''
Everyone watches again as the smoke blows away by the flames revealing Jonouchi, smirking, as he declares with a cocky smile. ''In the moment of its destruction, Red-Eyes Alternative Black Dragon's effect can Special Summon another Level 7 or lower Red-Eyes monster from my Graveyard. Ignite your passionate flames, Red-Eyes Black Dragon!''
The flames wrap around and emerging out of them is the original Red-Eyes, letting out a powerful roar.
Red-Eyes Black Dragon Lvl 7 ATK: 2400 DEF: 2000
''Plus if the monster I brought back was the original Red-Eyes, its original ATK is doubled!'' Jonouchi then declares lifting up two fingers as Red-Eyes roars again, going up to 4800ATK.
''Huh? Not bad.'' Valon states rather surprised, not expecting this either. Still he's not bested yet.
''I set 2 cards facedown. My turn is done mate.'' Valon declares setting two face-down cards behind himself, finishing his turn.
Duel Screen: Turn 3_ Jonouchi: 3500LP H: 3 / Valon: 4000LP H: 3
Jonouchi eyes his options while Valon is more than sure with his looking back at his set cards.
''Even if he does have something, I still got my two set cards.'' He tells himself mentally with his certain wins.
One of them is the Trap, Armor Overdrive. With it, all his Armor monsters this turn gains 700 ATK for each Armor monster on the field and they cannot be destroyed by card effects this turn. And the other card, Limiter Removal, he can double the ATK of his Machine monsters. With this combo, Valon can't lose.
''Here goes… My turn!'' Jonouchi begins to declare drawing his top card. He eyes it and blinks rapidly before shouting out excitedly. ''NICE!''
''Oh? You drew a lucky card? I wonder how good it will-'' Valon begins to say still pretty cocky but Jonouchi interrupts, smirking, as he reveals and plays the card he drew. ''I activate the spell, Inferno Fire Blast! With this, a monster that is originally named Red-Eyes Black Dragon inflicts damage to my opponent equal to its original ATK.''
Valon just chuckles that he thinks 2400 ATK will do any damage.
''Big deal, your dragon's original ATK is-'' He begins to remind him until it hit him; his dragon's original ATK is doubled by its Alternative Dragon form. Valon soon widens his eyes realizing his mistake. ''Oh no!''
''OH YEA!'' Jonouchi proclaims as Red-Eyes opens its fangs charging red-dark swirls of flames.
''Yea well it won't matter! I can use Active Guard's effect so I take no damage! Sorry to disappoint you.'' Valon still declares having the means to prevent this from beating him. Jonouchi isn't even scare calling him back. ''I should be telling you that.''
''Go ahead and try it, Trap Buster will-'' Valon still protests able to use his other arm Armor to negate a trap but Jonouchi is a step ahead triggering his set card. ''I activate the Quick-Play Spell, Spirit Energy!''
''Nani?!'' Valon utters out in shock with Jonouchi explaining his card's effect. ''Thanks to my card, I negate your Active Guard's effect and I draw a card too.''
His spell fires a beam at Valon's armor chest, negating its effect while Jonouchi draws a card.
''Burn away Red-Eyes! Super Dark Mega Flare!'' Jonouchi commands as Red-Eyes fires a massive fireball from its mouth, consuming Valon instantly. An explosion occurs as Valon screams, his armor pieces vanishing and his Life Points along with them.
Duel Screen: Winner… Jonouchi Katsuya: 3500LP vs. Valon: 0LP
Everyone staggers and cheer speechless by this performance. Jonouchi sighs as his dragon vanishes. Valon was on one knee, panting but smiling not expecting that instant win. If the Seal of Orichalcos was used, he would have lost more than the duel.
Jonouchi walks up to him and reaches his hand to him. Valon sees this and smirks accepting it though he looks away. Jonouchi pulls him up and says rubbing the ends of his nose's bottom tip. "Guess that answers it huh?''
''Boy, were you ready to win this round huh?'' Valon states the obvious, not expecting a Jonouchi this serious to win. Then again, he likely got lucky.
Jonouchi didn't say a word, just looking up at Kaiba's VIP room. Knowing him, he'll advanced too which means they will duel again. He wants to prove he can beat that smug bastard for good and he will. He looks back at Valon and tells him very serious. ''And I'm more than ready for the next round too!''
Valon just smirks able to tell the reason now. He walks past him and just tells him. ''Hope you impress Mai at the least if you can't beat him.''
Jonouchi blinks by that statement, not sure he follows but he took it as ''good luck''.
Jonouchi wins his first round. How will the next duel turn out?
Commercial Break:
Jonouchi: YOSH! I get to be in the next round! And I'm going to win it all.
Kaiba scoffs: Let's see about that, worthless mutt.
After Jonouchi and Valon left the duel field, Pegasus announces from his stage. "Now we enter the second duel between our grumpy-''
Immediately walking in the duel field, Kaiba stands declaring coldly. ''Enough chit-chat Pegasus, I'm here to duel.''
Walking in from the opposite side is Alister, proclaiming rather disappointed. ''You haven't changed a bit.''
Kaiba scoffs uncaring, not here to chit-chat… but he does have a thing to ask him for and so he finally does. ''… I heard you restored your country after what happened to it.''
Alister forms a frown a bit, admitting happy that his country has been restored to what it was after what Kaiba's stepfather- no; Dartz did to it to only recruit him for his insane mission. He would not have been able to restore his home country where his little brother died if not for Kaiba's help, using his resources to recreate everything that was destroyed as a means to prove that rebuilding a destroyed town is possible while creating economy but small country scale, further improving his worth.
''Mikey would have wanted it.'' Alister expresses with a small smile, missing his younger brother as he pulls out the destroyed robot toy Mikey loved. He sighs putting it away and tells the CEO. ''Thanks for your help though.''
Kaiba scoffs not going to admit his reasons but he at least owed him somewhat much. Though he does tell him off. ''I'll thank you through our duel and your defeat.''
''Gladly.'' Alister smirks accepting the challenge.
''Duel!'' Both Kaiba and Alister declare drawing their 5 cards, commencing the second duel.
Duel Screen: Seto Kaiba: 4000LP vs. Alister: 4000LP
Kaiba eyes his hand and scoffs proclaiming to his opponent to try to best him. ''Impressive me if you dare.''
Alister questions his reasons but he won't debate him.
Duel Screen: Turn 1_ Kaiba: 4000LP H: 5 / Alister: 4000LP H: 5
''My turn!'' Alister declares drawing his top card. He eyes his options and nods grabbing 3 cards from his hand.
''I set a monster and next set two cards facedown. I end my turn.'' He announces setting a monster and 2 Spell/Trap cards face-down.
Kaiba scoffs extremely impressed. Ichigo sweat drops noticing it, pretty sure Kaiba did the same thing when he dueled cartoon card creator guy in their exhibition duel.
Duel Screen: Turn 2_ Kaiba: 4000LP H: 5 / Alister: 4000LP H: 3
''My turn, draw!'' Kaiba announces drawing his top card holographic. He eyes his hand and plays it immediately. ''I activate the Spell, Bingo Machine, Go!''
Kaiba picks his 3 cards and reveals them to Alister through his screen before his cards are hidden face-down. Alister is forced to pick at random and Kaiba adds it while the rest return into his Deck.
He then plays another card from his hand. ''Next I activate the spell, the Melody of Awakening Dragon! By discarding a card, I add up to 2 Dragon monsters with 3000 or more ATK and 2500 or less DEF from my Deck to my hand.''
He taps and discards Deep of Blue-Eyes as he adds both Blue-Eyes White Dragon and Blue-Eyes Chaos MAX Dragon.
Kaiba now proceeds playing another spell in his hand. ''I activate the Ritual Spell, Chaos Form!''
The sky above him rips open to show like some kind of massive ceiling portal.
''I release Blue-Eyes White Dragon from my hand to perform a Ritual Summon!'' Kaiba announces releasing his ace dragon from his hand. He then chants as the portal opens up revealing a chaotic sky. ''Let the light and dark intertwine into the ultimate maximum chaos! Let your pride consume everything in destruction!''
The chaotic sky expands and explodes with Kaiba calling forth loudly. ''RITUAL SUMMON! Appear, Blue-Eyes Chaos MAX Dragon!''
Emerging out of the sky is the Blue-Eyes ritual monster, letting out a massive destructive roar. Almost everyone is terrified by this while Kisara, watching from the stands, blushing softly to love the dragon with blue-eyes.
Blue-Eyes Chaos MAX Dragon Lvl 8 ATK: 4000 DEF: 0
Ichigo panics as that monster will do double piercing damage to Defense Position monsters.
''Battle. Chaos MAX, attack that facedown monster!'' Kaiba orders as his dragon starts charging up energy between its fangs. He then adds explaining his monster's effects. ''Chaos MAX, on top that it cannot be targeted by card effects and destroyed by my opponent's card effects, inflicts double piercing damage if it attacks a Defense Position monster.''
Alister didn't make an expression as Kaiba commands. ''Maximum Burst of Chaos!''
Chaos MAX fires powerful mouth energy burst at Alister's face-down monster, revealing to be Machina Defender; a blue tank-like monster with missile packs.
''Machina Defender only has 1800 DEF; Kaiba might win this.'' Jonouchi states the obvious that Kaiba has won but it won't be the case as Alister reveals one of his set cards. ''I activate my set Trap Card, Machina Recovering!''
His set card opens up revealing the image of damaged Machina Soldiers and Snipers being repaired. Alister then explains his card's effect. ''With this, my Machina monsters cannot be destroyed this turn and I take no damage.''
Chaos MAX's attack consumes and damages Defender but not destroy it while Alister's Life Points were untouched. He then adds. ''Next Machina Defender's effect lets me add Commander Covington from my Deck to my hand.''
''Fine. I set a card and end my turn.'' Kaiba declares setting his own set card behind his dragon, ending his turn. At this point Alister then announces. ''During the End Phase, Machina Recovering's other effect lets me Special Summon a Level 4 or lower Machine monster from my hand.''
Kaiba groans as his opponent calls forth from his hand. ''I summon Commander Covington!''
A light red-brown robot with green eyes and light lining elbows, knees and chest appears on the field.

Duel Screen: Turn 3_ Kaiba: 4000LP H: 2 / Alister: 4000LP H: 3
''My turn!'' Alister declares drawing his top card. He eyes it and summons it. ''I summon Machina Soldier!''

''I activate the spell, Machina Construction!'' Alister calls forth revealing a new card that shows the image of Machina Defender and Sniper being built with the background showing body parts of Machina Fortress. He then explains his card's effect. ''I can Special Summon a Machina monster from my Deck but it cannot attack and its effects are negated but during the End Phase it returns back to my Deck.''
He pulls a card from his deck and summons it. ''Appear, Machina Sniper!''

Kaiba scoffs unimpressed, not seeing the point of summoning a bunch of weak monsters. Alister, however, smirks having all the pieces he needs as he announces. ''Now I use Commander Covington's effect, sending my 3 Machina monsters!''
Covington raises up his right arm as the other Machina monsters leap up to the sky, merging together by splitting up into pieces and reforming together.
''Now battle forward, Machina Force!'' Alister calls forth, summoning a new monster. Emerging is a massive machine with the combined body parts of Defender, Soldier and Sniper.
Machina Force Lvl 10 ATK: 4600 DEF: 4100
Kaiba still stares unworried. Alister then plays another card from his hand. ''I equip Machina Force with the Equip Spell, Machina Limiter!''
The equip spell shows the image of an unknown machine being built with pieces resembling Machina Fortress. A swirl of energy surrounds Machina Force as Alister explains. ''Now at the cost of Machina Force losing its effect, it can attack twice.''
Now he doesn't have to pay the 1000LP cost and can attack twice with a 4600ATK beatstick. Alister then commands determined. ''Battle! Machina Force, destroy Blue-Eyes Chaos MAX Dragon!''
Machina Force takes aim with its sniper weapon and fires a powerful piercing beam, blasting though Chaos MAX and destroying. Kaiba hardly guarded by this assault as his Life Points drop to 3400.
''Now attack Kaiba directly!'' Alister commands as his monster fires another shot at Kaiba but this time Kaiba is ready revealing his set card. ''Reverse trap open, Counter Gate.''
His trap flips over and forms a large barrier blocking Machina Force's attack.
''Nani?!'' Alister utters out in surprise while Kaiba explains his trap's effect. ''My trap negates your direct attack and then I draw a card.''
He draws his top card and even though it was a Monster card, he can't summon it… yet. Alister groans as he orders with his last monster. ''Commander Covington, direct attack.''
Once more Kaiba stands his ground unguarded as the machine hits him with its fist and Kaiba, unfazed, took 1000 of damage.
Alister sighs not able to do much proclaiming. ''I end my turn.''
Duel Screen: Turn 4_ Kaiba: 2400LP H: 3 / Alister: 4000LP H: 1
Alister eyes his set card, Widespread Ruin. Whatever monster Kaiba summons, it will be destroyed.
''You know…'' Alister looks back at Kaiba who begins to say with a small sinister smirk. ''It's a shame to end this so soon.''
Alister sweats by his statement with Kaiba about to show him, declaring as his draws his top card. ''My turn!''
He draws it but he had no use for it as he has already won, playing another card from his hand. ''I activate the spell, Spell Reproduction! With this, I add a Spell from my Graveyard to my hand.''
A card materializes in the palm of his draw hand and immediately plays it. ''Once more, I activate the Ritual Spell, Chaos Form!''
Once more the sky is covered by the metal-like portal as it opens up.
''I can banish a Blue-Eyes White Dragon from my Graveyard to perform the Ritual.'' Kaiba declares as he banishes his dragon and chants. ''Let the light and dark intertwine into the legendary chaos! Let your pride become one with the darkness to destroy everything before you!''
The chaotic sky shines and releases electricity while Kaiba calls forth. ''Ritual Summon! Now descend, Blue-Eyes Chaos Dragon!''
Emerging from the sky is a new Blue-Eyes Chaos monster, resembling more like the proper Blue-Eyes White Dragon but has more of Chaos MAX's body scheme. It roars with its wings shooting blue energy.
Blue-Eyes Chaos Dragon Lvl 8 ATK: 3000 DEF: 0
Kisara giggles excitedly to see another Blue-Eyes Ritual Monster.
''Another Chaos variant?'' Jonouchi questions really surprised. Ichigo nods rapidly not expecting this.
''Next I banish Deep of Blue-Eyes from my Graveyard!'' Kaiba announces as a monster appears behind him. It shows the spirit form of what seems to be Blue-Eyes White Dragon but with the design and has the appearance of Deep-Eyes White Dragon. He then explains its effect. ''Once banished, it increases the ATK of all my Blue-Eyes monsters by 1000.''
Blue-Eyes Chaos Dragon roars shooting up to 4000.
''Battle.'' Kaiba begins to state as he adds revealing his dragon's powerful effect. ''Blue-Eyes Chaos Dragon, if it was Ritual Summoned using the original Blue-Eyes, when it declares an attack, it forces my opponent to change the Battle Position of their monsters and their ATK and DEF become 0.''
Alister widens his eyes as that mean Machina Force will be the end of him too. But he still had his set card, he can still-
''And my dragon also gains its non-targeting, card effect protection and piercing damage too!'' Kaiba then reveals the rest of his dragon's effect. Alister panics as once more his set card is useless against this dragon too.
Kaiba lifts his finger at Machina Force and orders coldly. ''Blue-Eyes Chaos Dragon, end this. Attack Machina Force!''
Blue-Eyes roars as its orb all glow and start charging energy between its fangs.
''Burst Stream of Chaos!'' Kaiba commands as his dragon releases a wide mouth blast stream, tearing though the massive machine that suddenly drop in its power and forced into Defense Position. The blast consumes and rips through the robot while Alister braces himself taking all the damage.
Duel Screen: Winner… Seto Kaiba: 2400LP vs. Alister: 0LP
Kaiba scoffs removing his headset as their monsters vanish. Kisara smiles happy Seto won.
"I saw this coming.'' Jonouchi proclaims not surprised that Kaiba won.
Alister sighs not surprised he bested him and yet he knows one thing to be true; Kaiba's desire to beat Yugi hasn't change.
''Kaiba, your obsession towards Yugi-'' Alister begins to say but Kaiba silent him by proclaiming with a narrow gaze. ''It will always be the same till the day I defeat him.''
Kaiba walks past Alister but not before he says honestly. ''You did well, at the least.''
Alister forms a small smile nodding.
Jonouchi and Kaiba gazes at the other that they will square off in the second round but to the Blue-Eyes duelist, he will win regardless. The dirty colored blond headed glares determine not going to lose to Kaiba this time and will beat him.

Kaiba had no new cards BUT Spell Reproduction is not the TCG/OCG version but the Manga version without any cost, it just adds you a Spell Card from your Graveyard to your hand. Broken but better?

Effect: Equip this card to a ''Machina'' monster. It can attack twice but its effects are negated while equipped to this card. Author's Note: Quick fast duels since many have seen these duels before in the Anime though I did made them enjoyable at the least. Hope you guys think so too... that and I know many love Joey/Jonouchi vs Valon... BUT... Jonouchi vs Kaiba? HMM. I'll leave that as open debated.
SO… I was debating to give Alister the rest of the Machina monsters because they sort of resemble the robot toy of his younger brother… who died in a war that Dartz started but disguise himself as Kaiba's stepfather to fuel Alister's hatred. Point is I went with Machina Force route and left it at that, I can use any fanmade cards used for another duelist who will abuse the power of Machina at their true potential SOMEWHERE in the future. Only time will tell.
