NATSU P.O.V.
Erza is speeding down the streets like if we're in an action movie, but I'm too afraid to tell her to slow down.
"Why are we in such a rush?" She steps on the gas a little harder before making the last turn before we get to school.
"Today I asked Mira to get the footage of the incident, but she told me that another cheerleader got the footage."
"Who took it?" Her hands tighten on the wheel before gritting her teeth.
"Minerva" She stomped on the break and I went flying forward with only the seat belt holding me back. I looked up from the dashboard hugging my face to see we arrived.
"Isn't she supposed to be a friend of yours?" We quickly got out of the car, and ripped through the halls.
"I wouldn't say she's a friend, she's on the team but she's in the second line. I never really like her since she always had her group." We are now at the entrance of the locker rooms.
"What are we doing here? Shouldn't we search her locker?"
"Mira and I already did that today, but the flash drives were empty which means it has to be on her laptop. Stand guard!" I stood there quietly waiting for her to come out without anyone seeing us. Even though right now I have only one shoe on. Maybe I should try to get my other shoes from my locker. On the other hand if I leave my post Erza would kill me.
"I really do need my shoes." As I'm about to leave. Erza comes out with a book bag that I think it's Minerva's bag and rushes over to the library.
"Wait how do you know her bag will be there?"
"She's at practice, and I'm having Mira keeping them stalled for extra time now let's see what she has on her laptop." She opens the laptop to have a picture of her and her father, he looks really scary. "How reckless of her to not have a password on here."She begins to scroll through the files and we see one titled: F ↑ Vol 4. Erza moved the computer away from me the moment she clicked on the file.
"Anything yet?" Her eyes stood frozen on the screen, but I can tell something is wrong. Just then a tear fell from her eyes, and I spun the computer around to see a video. It's Lucy being kicked, punched, stomped, and so much more by Minerva and some of her crew. I couldn't help my hand turn into fist because this wasn't the video that was yesterday. This was about a few months ago. "How could they do this to her?"
The next thing I know I was running out the hall to gym with Erza running after me. I think she's gaining closer, but all that's playing in my head is that video. Lucy on the ground curled up into a ball as Flare sent the first punch. Room 203. Minerva pulled Lucy's hair on to make sure she got to punch Lucy in her face. Room 219. The blood that was dripping down her face, she's mumbling something which I think is, please stop, and the light in her eyes nearly vanished.
"NATSU STOP!" Erza holds me back from the entrance to the gym, but my fingertips are almost grasping the handle.
"THEY BEAT HER AND YOU WANT ME TO STOP!?" I screamed hearing my voice echo through the halls. I don't know why I have this strong feeling towards Lucy, but it's a pull. Seeing only a few moments of the video made me sick.
"Listen to me! Mira and I have a plan, but we didn't know how long this was going on." I curled up my hand one more time before asking a question.
"How many files are about Lucy?" Erza stood silent "That was only Volume 4 and that was months ago. So tell me, how many files are there?"
"There are five of them including the most recent video." I felt my stomach drop to think about the many times Lucy went through this without anyone knowing.
"Promise me that you won't hold back" I felt the hand that was holding me back release me before I give up on facing Minerva.
"I promise, but I'm going to need to give this Mira so everything works out. Stand right here!" I nodded as I sat down waiting for Erza to come back.
ONE HOUR LATER...
Erza, Mira, and I are now waiting by the back parking lot for Minerva's guy. Erza and Mira went through the videos while the rest of their teams were outside and saw one that pissed me off. This guy HELPED beat up Lucy! I wanted to rip his head off his shoulders! He's Minerva, one guy she has a string along. He picks her up everyday after practice and I can't wait to get my hands on him.
"Natsu, you need to stay calm and wait for everyone to come." Erza ordered me, but how could I stay calm? He's a man who hit a woman for no reason at all, not that it would be justified either way.
"I'll try, but I can't promise anything." She looked at Mira before Mira said something.
"Okay Natsu, but please don't get blood on Laxus' shoes." I smiled at Mira before giving her a thumbs up.
"I promise to not start the fight, and not to get blood on Laxus' shoes." I hope I can keep one of those promises because when I see this kid, I don't know what am I going to do.
A bright yellow dodge charger comes speeding in, what kind of douche drives that car, and here comes Minerva's man. I feel my anger rise up inside me, but I need to make sure that's him. The guy slowly got out of the car, and then I saw his jet black hair along with another guy coming out the car he had blonde hair. Great that's all I needed an extra person's ass to whoop.
"Erza what do you think you're doing?" I turn around to see Minerva and her followers stare at Erza as she holds Minerva's computer.
"You need to think about what happens when weak bitches pick on innocent students." Just like that Erza smashed her computer across her knee and everything fell down on the pavement.
"What the hell is wrong with you!?" Minerva screams as she begins to charge at Erza while her followers are being held back by Mira who I can tell was ready for a 4 on 1 fight.
Minerva rushes towards Erza ready to throw a punch, but Erza dodges and gives her a nice right hook to send Minerva on her ass.
"I'm going to kick your ass, redhead!" The blonde one shouted, but I stood in the way.
"Please! Give me a reason to knock you out! I'm begging because I know what you did to my friend Lucy! So let's go!" He comes to give me an uppercut, but he wasn't fast enough because my left fist is already making contact with his face. His whole body gets thrown out of order enough to make him have to take a few steps back. Then the black hair tries to start with me, but Erza stares him down that had him stop in his tracks.
"Are you talking about blondie?" I turned to see the blonde guy wiping some blood from the corner of his mouth with a stupid grin on his face. "I'm right aren't I? Well I can tell you when she begged us to stop it was the most satfyin-'' Just then I had to pop him in his left eye and his body hit the pavement hard.
"DON'T YOU EVER TALK ABOUT HER!" I shouted before walking towards Erza and Mira while they were dealing with the girls. No one made a move since Erza took down Minerva, but I know Flare is itching too.
Flare tries to distract Mira, but Mira pulls her back with her hair and makes her sit down. "No, you made the wrong decision." Mira coldly stated
"Listen here, you pack all your shit and you leave. DON'T EVER COME BACK! THAT GOES FOR ALL OF YOU WHO FOLLOW HER!." She points to Minerva "FOR THE REST OF YOU, lay one finger on Lucy I will personally be the one kicking your ass." Erza and Mira walked away from the terrified girls and joined me to go to the car.
"How's your hand Natsu?" Erza asked and I tried to shrug it off, but Mira grabbed it.
"Looks like you got the other person's blood on you. We should clean up before heading home." We silently agreed as we grabbed some water out the trunk to wash everything off.
After we washed the scum off our hands, I gave back Laxus' shoes to Mira and I put back on my one shoe as I got back in the car with Erza. Mira was waiting for Laxus by his car then Erza started driving away. "I told you that you didn't need shoes." Shut up... I smiled all the way home.
We both got to my house and Erza stood in her car while I went inside from my guess she wasn't ready to face Lucy. I know that she thinks that it's her fault, but it's clearly not. I opened the door to see Wendy watching TV in the living room.
"Natsu, you're home! Lucy and Gray are in your room doing their project."
"Okay" I began to climb the stairs.
"You got competition." Wendy stated before I got to the second staircase. That's the problem: I can't be competitive when she has someone already. I hear Lucy laughing and I can't help to smile as I open the door. "I'm back!" Lucy smiles as Gray gives me a reassuring head nod.
"Welcome back!" She says as she pets Happy, but she takes a quick scan. "What happened to your hand." I looked down.
"Oh that's nothing. What did I miss?" She smiles and try to make room for me on the bed.
