Nick left the suitcase on the couch and they walked out to the little backyard. A few flat stones on the ground led to a wooden floor, on which there was a gazebo, adorned with light garlands, and under which there was a wicker table with matching chairs.
"Oh, a hot tub..." pointed out Judy "...you packed the swimsuits, right?"
The fox answered the bunny's question with a naughty smirk as he walked towards the hot tub while undoing his tie and unbuttoning his shirt. Judy's cheeks turned red when she saw Nick's clothes drop to the floor, except for his underwear.
"You're welcome to join me like that…" said the fox as he toyed with the hot tub remote control "...but I'd be a shame if that beautiful lingerie got wet" he winked.
After a few tries, Nick was able to turn on the tub. The water started to heat up and bubbles started appearing. The fox checked the water with his foot before taking off his underwear and getting in the hot tub. He rested his back against one of the walls of the tub, closed his eyes, and let the bubbles work their magic. He was so relaxed he didn't notice the bunny quickly taking off her clothes to join him.
The fox felt water splashing him before Judy put her arm around his shoulder. He opened his eyes and looked at her before kissing her on the forehead.
"You're adorable" Nick accommodated her closer to him.
Judy rested her head on the fox's shoulder and they both enjoyed the warm bubbles.
"Mmm...now I get why they call it a hot tub," commented the grey bunny.
"Still better than the freezing showers they had at the academy" replied Nick.
"Oh, come on, they weren't that cold"
"Fluff, my tail shivers just thinking about it" the fox sank deeper into the bubbles.
The couple kept chatting about their experiences at the ZPD academy, Nick talked about how they would make a video call almost every evening while he was there and Judy remembered the fox's graduation ceremony and the party that came after.
Eventually, they got out of the hot tub and used a couple of towels to dry their fur, but since their fur was still slightly wet, Nick put on his boxers, Judy put on her lingerie and they cuddled under a large blanket in front of the fireplace.
The fox surrounded the bunny with his legs and wrapped his arms and the blanket around her body as he softly kissed Judy's neck, who just rested her back on Nick's fluffy chest.
"This feels great" murmured the bunny as she nuzzled the fox's neck.
"Yeah..." agreed Nick "...by the way, Carrots, have you thought about what we're gonna do when we go back to the city?"
"What do you mean?"
"Well, we still have a few days off after the festival, I was thinking we could stop at Bunnyburrow on our way back" suggested Nick.
"Bunnyburrow?"
"Yeah, you don't think it's a good idea?"
"No, I mean, yes...I'd love to introduce you to my family, it's just that they're not as open-minded about foxes as your family is about bunnies, besides, they know you as my partner at the ZPD and I'd have to introduce you as my boyfriend"
"It's a big difference, I get it...don't worry, Fluff, maybe at Thanksgiving," said Nick before kissing one of Judy's ears.
After the heat of the fireplace dried their fur, the fox and the bunny put their clothes back on and looked over the dinner menu. Judy ordered some spicy tuna crunch rolls and Nick ordered baked chicken with vegetables. They also ordered a Caprese salad and a bottle of red wine to share.
"They said it'll take around 20 minutes," said the fox after putting down the phone he used to order the food.
"Well… I know what we can do in the meantime" the bunny gently pulled Nick's tie to give him a sweet kiss.
The fox's ears tensed and he smiled before letting Judy guide him to the couch. She gently pushed him and crawled on top of him. They looked into each other's eyes before joining their lips in another kiss, this one even more passionate.
Several minutes passed and they were still sharing signs of affection when the doorbell interrupted them. Nick got up and quickly fixed the neck of his shirt before opening the door. A cheetah wearing a motorbike helmet handed him a box and wished them a great night before leaving. Judy also got up from the couch and walked towards the dinner table, where the fox opened the box.
Nick got a few dishes from the kitchen to serve the food and a couple of glasses for the wine. Once everything was ready they uncorked the bottle and made a toast to celebrate their love before starting eating.
The fox enjoyed the salad as well as the chicken and the wine, but that was nothing compared to watching his bunny struggling to use the chopsticks to eat sushi.
"Do you need a fork, Fluff?" chuckled Nick.
"No" answered the rabbit before trying a few more times and giving up.
"Mmm… you stubborn bunny" the fox passed her a fork and kissed her on the forehead.
After finishing the food and almost the whole bottle of wine, the couple noticed there was still something inside the box, a little red container with the word "dessert" written on it.
"Oh!" Nick's eyes opened wide when he saw the chocolate-covered strawberries that filled the container.
The fox offered Judy a bite of the sweet fruit, which was followed by an even sweeter kiss that made them quickly forget about the dessert. That kiss led to another, and another, and another, until Nick lifted her and carried her to the bedroom.
As soon as they opened the door, the couple was surprised by the many flameless candles that illuminated the room and the huge bed, on which there was another box. The curious rabbit got down from Nick's arms and opened the box.
"Hmm… massage oil, lubricant, condoms… oh, fuzzy handcuffs, these are way better than the ones we have at work" joked the fox.
"We can use them later if you want…" said Judy, slightly blushed and with a shy and playful smile "… but first, I could really use a massage right now" she whispered while wrapping her arms around his neck.
"Well, then we'll have to make sure no oil gets on these" Nick gently slid his paws under the bunny's dress and took it off, revealing the lovely lingerie that she was wearing.
"Same goes for you," said Judy as she started unbuttoning the fox's garnet shirt.
The bunny closed her eyes and kissed Nick while feeling his naked chest with her soft paws. She felt how the fox ran his paws carefully around her greyish fur before she fell back to the bed without breaking the kiss.
Nick intertwined his paws with hers and planted a few kisses on her neck before pulling away a few inches from her face and observing her body.
"You're gorgeous" whispered the fox before they joined their snouts and melted their lips in a long, passionate, and tender kiss.
