Chapter 70: Faded Away?

We arrived at the farthest edge of spacetime and we saw Ecolo laying down, beaten up. "*gasp*" Me, Ex, and Satan went. "Ecolo!" Ex went up to shake him a little. "... Ugh... Ex... is that you...?" Ecolo spoke. "Yes, it's me! What happened to you? What happened to the farthest edge of spacetime?" He asked him. "E-Ex... it was... a Yog. A Yog came here... beat the crap outta me... and caused the dimensional boundary that separated this place from Ringo's world to fade away... Then... it took off for her world. This happened... yesterday, and now Ringo's world is in danger...!" Ecolo explained. "... Damn that Yog… it will pay for this, Ecolo." Ex told him. "Then... give 'em hell, Ex. Nothing gets to beat me up like this…" The current keeper said. "We will... but first, we have a question for you, Ecolo: Do you know why Dave is now a girl?" The former keeper went and asked. "U-uh...? ... Dave's a girl...? ... You look cute as one, Dave, I'll admit... Hehehe- URGH-! ... Ow… ... A-anyway, I think that Yog has something to do with it… I'm not entirely certain... but considering the timing of the Yog going to Ringo's world... I wouldn't put it past me that it's what caused you to change, Dave…" Ecolo looked at me. "... Either way, I must chase after this Yog and take it down... wherever it may be in Ringo's world." I told him. "... Not without us, as well as Schezo. He now carries the one thing that can greatly damage a Yog. We should bring him along, not just for that, but also because he would be angry that we left him out of the action..." Satan placed a hand on my shoulder.

Yeah... We need Schezo if we ever hope to take out this next Yog, as well as the other ones beyond it. "If only Arle was here... she could heal him up, given some time." Rulue said. "D-don't worry for me too much... I'll... recover over time... Geh-! Ugh..." Ecolo told her, then passed out. "... We should head back to Primp; there's nothing more we can do here." Ex stood back up and walked away from the scene. The rest of us did the same as we headed back through the pathway. Damn this sequence of events... This Yog greatly damaged Ecolo, then escaped to Ringo's world after removing this dimensional boundary of sorts. And then, the Yog is likely the reason why I've changed to be a girl… ... Fuck that piece of shit of a Yog, more than the other two we've fought against so far. ... Now that I AM a girl, what will Schezo think of me...? Of course, he won't even recognize me at first... ... Well, there's only one way to find out for sure. As we continued through the pathway, nothing significant really happened. Just as we were about to have a new portal made by Ex, something suddenly attacked us. "Aaaaah!" We all screamed. As it turned out, this attack was a strong blast of wind. "Nrgh-! When has there ever been a crazy windstorm in this place…?!" Ex struggled to stand still.

Almost everyone, including me, ended up flying backwards and landing back down on the path with our backs. The only ones who didn't go flying were Ex and Satan. "Who's there…?! Show yourself!" Satan demanded. "You intend to stop our plan… I will stop you all here." A voice came in. After that, a Yog suddenly appeared in front of us. Of course, this surprised us, considering that one of them was already in Ringo's world, according to Ecolo. "What are you Yogs after now?! Why did the one that came here remove one of the dimensional boundaries?!" Ex interrogated it. "Why should I tell you? All you need to know is that your two worlds will come to an end eventually." It said. "Fine then, if you won't talk... we'll just have to beat you up like what that other Yog did to Ecolo!" I got back up. "Do it then... if you can, that is. That is a lot of talk coming from what I see here... a frail girl!" The Yog dared. "That's it, you asked for it! Hrr-RAH!" I transformed. "Dave…! Y-your armor is different from how it usually is!" Ex saw. My winged armor definitely did appear, but it was obviously not as big and bulky as it was before. Moreso, this armor was sleeker and lighter, which I did not like in this situation. "Dammit, this is probably because I'm a girl now! I hope that's the only thing that got worse for me..." I complained. For fuck's sake... This armor isn't heavy enough to stave off that strong wind energy! Sure, I can probably go faster with this take on the dragon armor... but that's not gonna matter if I can't do any significant damage to this Yog.

As I continued to stir around my own thoughts, Ex engaged his own armor and started to flap his wings. "Everyone! Get ready! This thing's gonna be challenging, since we don't have everyone here with us currently…" He told us. The others got back up and prepared themselves. "We're as ready as we can be; time to kick this thing's ass! That's assuming it even has an ass to kick..." Raffina stood firm. "I'll stomp on its eye if it's the last thing I do…!" Tarutaru did the same. "I'll fry its eye up if you need to stomp on it, Tarutaru…" Ringo charged herself up. "Or I could just keep it grounded with my Gravity's Strength for that use…" Klug suggested. "I-I-I'm not sure how useful I'll be here... b-but I'll try my best…" Lidelle stuttered with unusual resolve in her voice. "I'll provide support for those who need me!" Yui said. "We'll make these things stop whatever they wanna do to our worlds!" Amitie readjusted her Puyo hat. "If that is all you kiddies wish to say, then we should get on with actually punishing this unruly creature." Accord told them. "I'll purr-sonally grip that eye with my paws... Meow!" Popoi hopped off of Accord, then grew large. "... Charge!" I timed our assault. "YYAAAAAH!" We all screamed. "Begone! Yog Beam!" The Yog fired. "Cryogenic Bomb!" I fired. "Hard Drop!" Ex threw. "Devastation!" Satan launched.

All three of our attacks collided with the Yog's beam, which stalled it out until they all disappeared. "Hm... Very well then, how about this? Howling Windstorm!" The eyeball brought in. "H-holy shit, this wind is even crazier than that blast...! Gyaaaaaaaah!" I commented before flying back even further than before. The others flew back and away from the Yog as well. Not even Popoi could prevent himself from being blown away. "Woooooooah!" They went. "Oof-!" We all crashed to the pathway. "D-Damn... ... How can we get close to the Yog if it can summon winds this strong...?" I struggled to get back up. "Winds of the Weak: I summon you to attack these hopeless people!" The Yog summoned. "Wh-what the heck are those?!" Amitie freaked out. What we were now seeing were live entities made out of flowing wind and they looked menacing. "Gigigigigigigi!" They collectively screamed before going after us. "Shit! Here they come, guys!" I got a hold of myself. I decided to go over and pin the one closest to me down to the pathway. Good thing I'm faster for this specific bit! ... Got you! I touched this one Wind of the Weak, but couldn't hold onto it. "Tch. Of course... you're made of air, that's not something we can grab and hold." I scoffed. "GIIIII!" It went. After that, it grabbed me with not its air-made hands... but rather with outside wind it generated from them. 'Wooah...!" I rose up to the air. This was when I had to fly out of this wind. Thankfully, the winds were, in fact, at least weak enough for me to do that.

My friends and such on the other hand, aside from Ex and Satan... weren't so fortunate to have wings. They ended up getting caught in the other Winds of the Weak. "Time to end this for those… three girls in there! Mega Yog Beam!" The Yog charged up. "...! Yui, Lidelle, and Raffina will all be killed if they get hit directly with that! ... I HAVE to protect them, and now... STOP! Leave them alooooooooone!" Ex soon screamed at the top of his lungs as he quickly flew over to the Yog. "Go, Mega Yog Beam!" The eyeball fired. "Hrrggh! Rrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrgh! Aagh...! HAAAAAAAAAAA- -AAAAAAAAAAAAH!" Ex continued to scream as something seemed to have changed with him. Dust enveloped around where he took the huge blow. "Wh-what is this...?" The Yog observed with slight worry. "E-Ex! Are you okay?!" I called out to him. "M-M-Mr. Ex?!" Lidelle began to cry, fearing that Ex was in serious pain. "*pant pant pant* ... I-I'm okay, everyone... I think." We heard a deep voice come through. "...! Ex has-!" I realized what just happened. As the dust cleared out, we saw that Ex was now a big golden dragon. "Holy crap! Ex has a dragon form!" Amitie pointed. "I'm a dragon now...? ... Heh. Well, what do you know? This might actually work out for me... Thank you for enraging me like that, Yog. You've allowed me to access this power and now I'll defeat you with it!" The former keeper began to smirk. "Everyone, you need to run away from here! It seems like Ex now has that powerful level of aura as well!" I noticed and warned. "How?! Most of us are in the air because of these assholes!" Klug panicked. "Don't worry, I'll take you all away from this area! Satan, stay with Ex!" I spoke. "I will! Just get the others away before Ex's newly established aura eradicates them, Dave!" Satan nodded.

With that, I quickly rescued and retrieved each one of my friends, as well as Accord and Rulue... then, I placed them far enough away from Ex. Tarutaru was the last one I carried away, since I KNEW he was going to be the hardest for me to lift. My girl muscles weren't helping things here whatsoever. Thankfully, I just needed to get him far enough away from the Winds of the Weak. And then, I was able to put him down. "Go meet up with the others, Tarutaru. I'll stay behind and help these two." I told him. "Certainly." He took off. Okay… now I can go ahead and beat that fucking eye up. I flapped my wings back to where Ex had been going toe-to-toe with the Yog. Now, am I still able to turn into a dragon? Even though I was only able to stay in that form for up to ten minutes in the past… it was still better than not going into it when emergencies came by. … … Nope, nothing… Looks like I can't even use my dragon form when I'm a girl. That sucks… Thankfully, Ex's new dragon form should be enough. Granted, that's IF he doesn't end up having the same issue as me. … I'm sure he'll be fine, he's a dimensional being. I on the other hand: I'm just a human that was turned into a demon. I technically don't have the strength to indefinitely hold the energy of that of a god's…

"Stay sharp, Dave... This Yog's not letting up for a second here." Satan alerted me. "I know! Hoo! Hoo! Hah!" I pumped myself up. When I did, something appeared in my hand. This was a weapon, which I hadn't received since losing the sword that came with my usual bulky armor from that one scuffle with Schezo. The weapon turned out to be a bow and my eyes bulged. "A bow...? … ... I understand what I can do with this…" I questioned before closing my eyes. I breathed in... then breathed out before pulling the bow back. When I was ready, I opened my eyes. "Bullseye." I released the bowstring. Even though there was no physical arrow when I pulled the string back, one appeared as I released it. The arrow was coated in some kind of magic. I wasn't able to discern what that magic was, but it didn't matter. The arrow flew and landed on the Yog's upper eyelid. "Gh-!" It flinched. "...! Dave, what was that you just did?" Satan wondered. "I-I dunno... I somehow summon out this bow that shoots arrows like that one." I pointed. "That might be useful to chip away at the Yog, keep at it!" Ex insisted. "Yeah, got it!" I prepared to shoot another one. "Winds of the Weak, return to my side!" The Yog commanded. These henchmen came back to it and covered the Yog on all sides. "Shit! It's built a wall of wind around itself, I can't fire arrows at it like this…" I made my bow disappear. "We'll find some way to stop these winds eventually, it's just going to take some time to do so. Disaster!" Satan said before attacking the wind.

Really though, how can we make these winds go away? They're so... annoying. ... ... Damn it! I can't think of anything to stop them... If we can't do so, then we'll just have to bust through the wall somehow. "*roar* Eat this, Yog! Haaaaaaugh!" Ex unleashed something from his dragon mouth. I don't know how to describe this attack in specifics, but it was purple and it looked powerful. It was probably something similar to my attack as a dragon; the one that I used on those harpies a while back. The attack smacked into the Yog's wind wall, but didn't go through. That's not a good sign for things to come... The blast looked powerful, yet... the wind still held strong against that. "Oh, for the love of- That's it! We're all using our most powerful ranged attacks on that wind right now!" I lost my patience. That's IF I can still use the spells that I had before my change... "Got it, Dave! Just say the word and we'll do so on your count!" Satan nodded. "Excellent. ... Thunder... Thunder…" I nodded back before charging up. Great. It looks as though I can still use my spells at their best. My Thunder Cannon is gonna shake this wind up by the time it's through with it. Ex prepared the same attack he did before. Satan charged up his own attack as well, one that was full of power. "... ... Now attack! Hoooough...! Thunder Cannoooooon!" I released. "Haaaaaaaugh!" Ex fired. "Cataclysm!" Satan chucked. All three of our attacks combined into one incredibly destructive force and slammed hard on the wall of wind.

Once again, the wall was proving to be more resilient than we anticipated. "Dammit, our combined attack isn't getting through either!" I continued my part of the assault. "Then we need to... push ourselves! Put more energy into this... and demolish that bothersome wall…!" Satan gritted his teeth. "I'll try as hard... AS I CAN! HAAAAAAAAUGH!" Ex pushed himself. "I don't give a shit that I'm a girl right now... I HAVE to hit as hard as I'm supposed to! Suck on this, Yog!" I did so as well. We absolutely struggled to get anywhere with this at first. It seemed as though we would never break through. But then... something happened to the wall after about fifteen seconds. "...! It's working! Guys, persevere!" I spoke up. We continued to scream as we slowly broke through the wind. The more that the wall was penetrated, the more that the wind itself became unstable. Soon, the wall couldn't hold up any more and our combined effort was about to hit the Yog. However, there was no way that we would predict what was going to happen next. "Tch. ... Let me show you that I won't fall like the two that you have defeated so far: HOWLING WINDSTORM!" The Yog spoke before exploding in wind energy. This was enough to reduce our combined attack to nothing and it got to us. All three of us were blown away with a force that was unprecedented. We hit the pathway so hard that it knocked me and Ex out of our transformations. We were hurt badly and aching while trying to get back up. Even Satan didn't recover from this too well. Naturally, the others came back to us... especially when Ex was no longer in his new dragon form. "Are you three okay?!" Amitie exclaimed.

She was the first to come up to us out of worry. Ironic, considering that she wasn't somebody who ran a lot. Rulue came to be with Satan, holding him in her hands. And naturally: Yui ran up to her adoptive father and held on to him. Finally, Ringo came to be with me as she tried to help me up. Amitie assisted Ringo in doing so while I stared at the monster we were fighting against. "Damn it... ... This Yog is a lot tougher to hit than the first two and it hits hard on top of that…" I panted. "Ugh... no kidding." Ex agreed. "Shit...! Even I'm hurting here!" Satan expressed his pain. "I don't think we are able to handle this... we should leave before things become worse." Accord viewed the current situation. "But… it's not like we can just leave without that thing stopping us. And besides..." I got fully up as I stopped speaking. "We have to try... otherwise we'll all die. I'll make a portal… then have everyone go through before I go. As soon as I jump in, I'll close off the portal. This will make it so that the Yog doesn't directly follow us." Ex said. "Huh…? But what about Ecolo? He'll be in danger again..." I pointed out. "... There's nothing that we can do for him now, as dangerous as that may be. Trust me, Dave... as much as I dread the possible outcome of Yogs taking over the farthest edge of spacetime, we can reclaim it another day if we need to. Our priority right now is getting the hell out of here. Clearly, we're not strong enough to defeat this Yog." He told me.

This made a certain someone go against what the former keeper was saying. "What...? ... We can't give up here, Ex! We forced the Yog to use the full extent of its power for a bit! All we need to do is to combine everyone's power into one collective force. There's no way the Yog can intercept something as powerful as that!" Satan argued. "Will that even work though?" Ex questioned. "Look, I felt the amount of power it had... I know we can beat it if everyone here can use their magic and stuff. I know that this must have hurt you two, but we can't just stop here...! *pant* Ignore the pain for a bit and push on ahead...!" Satan recovered. "... Fine. If you think we can still defeat the Yog, then we need help from the others... You hear that?" Ex faced my friends. "We'll put that Yog in his place!" Rulue tensed up. "Yeah!" We all exclaimed. "On the count of three, we all use some sort of ranged attack…" Satan started. When he said three, we all attacked the Yog as one unit. "Hrrrrrgh!" We all went. "Gah-!" The Yog barely had the strength to hold off everything we threw at it.

As it struggled, it still remained fine and unharmed. "Fuck... This Yog is still holding off everything we're throwing at it...!" I pushed my energy as much as I could. "Not this time! We WILL defeat it, so that we can put a stop to that other Yog! Amitie, remember that you can do "that"!" Ringo reminded her of something. " "That"...? ... Oh! I know what you're talking about! It'll take a lot outta me, but it might be the only thing that'll work." Amitie remembered. "Well, if you can do whatever Ringo just mentioned... THEN DO IT ALREADY!" I screamed. "... ...I'll do it for you, Dave! I care for you so much! Haaaaaa! Bayoeeeeeeeen!" Amitie slowly unleashed. "...! What is this madness? ... I can't move or do much of anything...!" The Yog couldn't comprehend it. "...! Rulue, Raffina, now!" I realized what happened and called on the two. "Got it!" They dashed to the Yog.

Rulue and Raffina punched and kicked the Yog for a bit as Amitie panted. "... ... I need to sit the rest of this out... Give that Yog a good smacking, Raffina!" She sat down and cheered her classmate on. "You better believe I'll give it a good thrashing, Amitie… Ms. Rulue, you're up! Hah!" Raffina kicked the Yog over to Rulue. "Time for you to crumble! Iron Fist! ... Exploding... KNEE! ... Raffina, I've passed it back over to you!" She smacked around before sending it away. "Now's my time to shine… Rainbow Deluxe... FULL. POWEEER!" Raffina winded up to send the Yog flying. "GH-! AAAAAAUUUGGHHH!" The Yog's scream faded as it flew off. Before it flew away, we saw how much blood the Yog lost from that Rainbow Deluxe. Its eye was practically gone from the force of it. Raffina managed to kick the Yog so hard that it flew through the unstable atmosphere of the current area and caused it to zip into a dimensional rift.

The rift itself disappeared as soon as it showed up. So now, the Yog was gone and we considered that to be a victory for us. Raffina panted heavily from the force she applied with her Rainbow Deluxe. "R-Raffina, that was incredible!" I came up to her. "Hey, don't look at me, Dave. ... I wouldn't have been able to do that without Amitie. Speaking of her... Thanks, Amitie!" She said to me before waving to her. "... Damn, that was tough… tougher than the first two." I sighed. "Dave, all that matters is that we came out fine, right? ... Hm... I think Amitie wants to talk to you." Raffina said before telling me. "Oh, well okay." I turned around and speedwalked to Amitie. She sat there, recovering from what she just did. I sat down next to her to see what she had to say.

She began a conversation with me. "Dave... ... I saved everyone... didn't I?" "I suppose so, but what was that...?" "Huh? What was what?" "You called it... Bayoen, right? What did it do exactly?" "Uh… I dunno. I just use it whenever me and my friends are in an extremely tough spot. But... oh boy, that took a lot out of me... especially since that was the first time I casted Bayoen without the power of Puyos. And I haven't had the power of Puyos with me for a few years now, mostly because people have been saying that Puyos can be dangerous to users. That's why we haven't trained with the power of Puyos this entire school year so far. Ms. Accord and the other teachers think that we don't need Puyos to be strong." "Huh… ... Ringo once told me that she was able to defeat Ecolo for the first time with the power of Puyos, Amitie." "She did?" "Yeah. This was apparently long before she ever had magic that she could call her own." "... I remember when she was learning how to use the power of Puyos all that time ago, Dave. She kinda needed help at first, but when she grasped that power... she quickly turned into a great Puyo battler. We went through multiple adventures together with Arle and it was how we all came to be best friends." "Even though Arle is older than you two by like five or six years?" "... We had a friendship that was one of a kind... N-not saying that my relationship with you isn't one of a kind… but we were able to be ourselves around each other. I treasured friends like them, you know… Before you came alone, Dave... they were the two I cared for the most in the whole- … I was gonna say world, but Ringo lives in her own world."

I took in what she was saying and believed in the fact that she, Arle, and Ringo were a trio of true friends before I came. "What would you three do when you weren't on an adventure?" "... Honestly… not much, really. We usually split up after one adventure would be finished. I always hated saying goodbye to them, as well as to others. I wanted to be with all my friends for the rest of my life…" "Heh. I can't blame you, Amitie... When you get attached so much to people you care for, it's very difficult to say goodbye. I didn't have many personal friends back in my world… but it wasn't easy to part ways with the few I had. I may not even get to see them ever again, all because I was transported away from my world unwillingly. … I miss them. However, I admit that I have become more attached to you all than them." "Huh? How?" "... All of you were willing to be my friends, and didn't give any second thoughts. And of course, you and the other classmates of Ms. Accord's class helped me come out of my initial turtle shell. Remember how I was when we first met, Amitie? I was kind of shy at the time. Now though? I'm strong, and more emotionally stable than I was then. It's thanks to all of you coming to help me up the first time… When we fought Klug's father: A combination of each of your strongest attributes, along with a dragon stone, made me who I am today. I am the powerful, yet kind-hearted Demonic Dragon Warrior who doesn't wish to kill evil humans and the like… only irredeemable monsters. Amitie… you were the one who tied everything together for me when it came to looking on the bright side of things. You may not be the smartest or strongest girl I know… but you don't need to be when you inspire others with a smile. You're the best kind of moral support whenever we need some motivation to keep moving forward. So... thank you, Amitie."

Amitie was happy to hear that and she hugged me with a smile before kissing me briefly. I was a little surprised by that, since I was a girl at the time."Don't mention it, Dave. I want everyone to be happy... that's my goal in life, outside of trying to be a great magician. I wanna have everyone get along, be themselves around each other, and be happy." She said. "You do the very best you can with that. If you believe that you can do it, Amitie... then push yourself repeatedly to do so. I'll be rooting for you to get stronger." I smiled back. "Alright, enough with your bonding time, you two. We still have to get back to our classroom." Ringo got our attention. "R-Ringo! ... How long were you, um, standing there?" Amitie blushed. "*giggle* Long enough to see you two kiss, Amitie. Don't worry, I thought it was fine. It's not often that you see two girls kissing each other." Ringo smirked for a couple of seconds. "... Ringo, you should know that I am not a girl…" I sighed. "No, but you definitely look like one right now, so it technically counts in my book." She said. "Amitie! Dave! There you are... Come, we need to leave now. Ms. Accord just looked at the time and class is supposed to end in a few minutes or so." Klug came up to us. "What? It's almost time already?" Amitie's eyes widened. "Well, we were walking around and fighting in this place for a while… so I'm not surprised." I stood back up. Amitie did the same and she wobbled a little. "Wooaah...!" She went.

I quickly held her in place so that she could regain her balance. "Are you alright, Amitie? I think you need to lay down for a while. Your legs don't look like they're ready to hold you up again." I asked and suggested. "D-don't be silly, Dave! I'll be okaaa- Oof-!" She stepped before falling over. "Perhaps you should listen to him, Amitie…" Klug helped her up. "Aw, fiddlesticks…" Amitie felt defeated. "Don't worry, I have a solution to this problem. ... Hey, Tarutaru! We need you to hold on to Amitie, can you do it?" I threw my voice out to him. I saw him nod to me off in the distance and dash over to us. "Here, Amitie... I will help you get out of here with the rest of us." The big guy said before picking her up. Before long, we all headed out through a portal made by Ex and returned to the classroom. It had been only seconds before the bell clapped for the final time that day. "Just in the nick of time…" I commented. "Well then… you kids have a safe trip home." Accord waved to us. "Can you stand and walk on your own now, Amitie?" I asked her. "... … Yeah, I'm okay now." She checked before nodding. "Good. Make sure you get home before you suddenly collapse again." I smiled. "I'll accompany her to make sure." Raffina volunteered. Amitie accepted Raffina joining her and they left. "Well, I need to head back to the Puyo Underworld to plan out our next move… After all, we still have the one supposed Yog that fled to Ringo's world. None of us know how much serious damage it can cause there." Satan told us.

After we listened to what he said, he left. "It's unfortunate, but it seems we have to wait for that Yog to make its move before we can do anything. Yui, let's go. Tee needs to be informed about what happened today." Ex spoke before alerting his adoptive daughter. "O-okay, Father." She left with him. "C'mon, we need to leave too, Dave. Lemres and Feli need to know as well." Ringo got my attention. I acknowledged her and we left the classroom, then the school before running into them. "Hey, you two don't look too good… did something happen?" Feli noticed our condition. "You could say that… We… … …" I answered, then explained. They couldn't believe what I had to say, long story short. "A third Yog smacked around Ecolo, then fled to Ringo's world? And then, a different Yog ambushed everyone and ya'll had a difficult time defeating it? Damn, man… If only we were there to help ya. I could've turned the Yog into candy." Lemres went on. "Well, about that, Lemres… The Yog we fought today used wind as a form of protection. It was difficult to even hit it, let alone, damage it majorly." Ringo told him. "Sheesh, things are just getting worse for us… How will we defeat the last couple of Yogs, assuming that we can defeat three others before them?" Feli questioned. "... Dunno." Me, Ringo, and Lemres all shrugged. "Satan is apparently going to start planning out our next move, but other than that…'' I went before stopping. "So, uh… Have ya found out how to turn back into a dude, Dave?" Lemres asked me.

I sighed before answering his question. "Not exactly, Lemres… but I believe if we beat that one Yog that fled to Ringo's world, I'll revert back to being a guy. BUT, there are two problems present here. Problem number one: We don't know where to look for the Yog in Ringo's world. Problem number two: Even if we DO find it, it's very likely that the four of us stand little chance against it. And if you wanna add a third problem to this whole thing… then there's the fact that we also don't have a plan beyond finding the damn thing. Overall, we're kind of fucked here unless SOMEBODY discovers where the Yog is." I told him. "Hm... … Not entirely, Dave. If we find unnatural smoke anywhere in Ringo's world, then it's likely that we'll find the Yog there." He thought, then said. "Of course...! A wicked seed will be a tell-tale sign that the Yog is around a specific area!" I felt better about the current situation. "Um... I'd hate to interrupt this, guys, but... I don't think I've seen a Yog myself yet. You were all saying that Yogs are giant eyeballs, right?" Feli spoke up. "Yep... they're not pretty, that's for sure. They're just not things that you would want to look at, Feli." Ringo nodded. "I'll... take your word on that, Ringo." Feli said to her.

At this point, we decided it would be best to part ways for the day and live life as normal until that Yog in Ringo's world is found. And so, me and Ringo went back to Suzuran after Lemres made a portal for us. It might have been still afternoon, but it was obvious that it would soon get a little dark. There's more to Winter than just cold air and snow, you know... We made our way back home quickly, because of that. When we came by the front door, I noticed that the pathway to it was clear and dry. Good, it looks like Mr. Sun dried the way and there's no water here to refreeze. Me and Ringo knocked off any snow that clung to our boots before we walked inside. There, we took them off and closed the door behind us. Ms. Ando and Serilly welcomed us back when they saw us. It felt good to be home after a grueling fight with another Yog. And so, we had Ms. Ando and Serilly catch up on what happened today. Serilly felt sorry for us, seeming to know the kind of experience that our most recent conflict provided. After that bit of conversing, night soon arrived.

Author's Notes: Ecolo had been assaulted by a Yog that eventually fled to Ringo's world, and some other one showed up before the group could leave the farthest edge of spacetime. Everyone was forced into a position where they had to stand their ground against this particular Yog. It was a tough battle... even for Dave, Satan, and Ex. This third Yog had the power of wind and it was strong. The only thing that was able to truly turn the tables on the Yog was Amitie's Bayoen, holding the eyeball in place. This allowed Rulue, and specifically Raffina, to send it flying. After this victory and a little time to recover, the group left the farthest edge in spacetime and came back to the classroom… just in time for the bell to clap. And so, the day is pretty much over for most of the group. They parted ways after the bell clapped. Dave and Ringo met up with Lemres and Feli a bit, then told them what had happened. All that our cast can do at this point is to wait for signs that a wicked seed has appeared in Ringo's world. So, Dave remains as a girl for the time being. Will defeating the Yog that escaped allow him to turn back into a guy? How will Schezo react to Dave being a girl? And, what will be in store for Dave during the first full night as a girl? Next chapter, Chapter 71: Living Life as a Girl.
