The monkeys chittered as they followed the spell. Mistress was unhappy and they needed to fix that. They would follow the spell to find Mistress' enemies and then attack. Feeling the magic in the air, Regina, Tom, and Rumplestiltskin looked up. That can't be good, Tom mused. He wasn't quite sure what was going on-he had never been one for particulars when it came to magic-but he knew instinctively that it wasn't good.

"Why does it feel like the air is searching for something?" Regina wondered.

"Because the witch is using a search-and-destroy spell," Rumplestiltskin replied even as he pulled his magic out, silently weaving a spell to counteract the spell that was in the air. Without asking any further questions, Regina began doing the same. Search-and-destroy spells were a nasty piece of business and the sooner they were dismantled, the better.

"What's a search-and-destroy spell?" Neal wondered.

"Later, Son," Rumplestiltskin replied. No he didn't blame him for asking as the spells weren't exactly common, but he needed to concentrate.

"Fair enough," Neal agreed. Wonder what this woman's up to, he thought to himself. Oh she had bragged about getting everything she deserved but she hadn't said how she was going to go about things, which meant that he and Papa couldn't warn the others. And he didn't like that, one little bit.

Emma watched, her eyes flickering in concern. What are they doing? she wondered. She had never seen them use their magic like this, and if she was perfectly honest, it scared her a bit. She didn't understand magic and a lot of her experience with it had to do with something bad happening to Henry, so was it any wonder that she didn't want to have anything to do with it? What if she ended up hurting Henry with her magic? She couldn't let that happen. And that meant staying away from magic as much as she could. But then again, was that really the best thing to do? Sure, magic had placed him in danger, but it had also saved him. Damn, it was just all so confusing! Wish I could figure this out, she thought to herself. Okay, she was getting distracted. She needed to focus here. They had to stop the witch who had done this. And it was this Zelena chick. Yeah, she was going to do whatever she could to stop her from completing her plan. A loud chittering broke her reverie and she looked up. Oh great, those freaks are back, she thought, seeing the monkeys. This was just what they needed….not.

Henry's eyes flickered. Don't know what to do here, he mused to himself. He wanted his dad back and he didn't like the idea of some weird witch trying to hurt his grandma. But what could he do? He didn't have any magic like his mothers did. Not that Emma used hers all that much. Sure she had practiced a bit before they had been forced to leave, but she didn't really seem to like it all that much. But magic would be needed if they were going to stop this Zelena person. He just wished he knew what she wanted. Maybe then he'd be able to come up with something.

In Main Street, Blue's eyes shone with furious determination she, Tinkerbell, and Nova led the other fairies, summoning their magic to their wands and thrusting it at the monkeys. This isn't good. A lot of these fairies aren't experienced in fighting, Blue thought as she quickly said a spell to give Nova and Tinkerbell their wings back. Feeling the once-familiar weight on their backs again, Tinkerbell and Nova shared a smile and then rose into the sky and started blasting away at the monkeys.

Across town, Hook frowned and stared at the sky worriedly as the monkeys headed for them. This wasn't good. He didn't have any special powers. As one, Blue and the other fairies summoned their magic to the forefront and then thrust it at the incoming army, the sky a mixture of colors as the monkeys swerved to dodge the attacks. Soon, other sparks of magic joined theirs and some of the monkeys screeched as they were zapped, disappearing with a bang and Regina's nose wrinkled at the smell of sulfur as the creatures disappeared. That is nasty, she thought to herself. Hearing the shrieks of pain, Zelena's eyes flashed with fury. They're killing my army! she seethed. She wasn't going to stand for this! She was better than all of them! Without even thinking about it, she summoned her magic and the green energy crackled and began covering her hands. She was going to destroy these fools! They were trying to steal her happy ending and she wasn't going to have it!

In the diner, Granny loaded up her crossbow, aiming it at a monkey as Ruby quickly shifted into her wolf form, eyes flashing furiously as she snapped her jaws at the monkeys who had broken in. Kill! the younger wolf thought to herself. These creatures were unnatural and smelled dangerous. They had to die. They worked for the woman who had turned Snow against her and now they were trying to hurt her grandma. Ruby, duck! she heard the older woman's voice yell and she flattened herself on the ground as the older woman fired her crossbow at the monkeys, the ends of her muzzle curving into a satisfied grin as she heard a soft THWACK! that was immediately followed by a screech of pain. Hearing a screech behind her, Ruby whipped around, jumping in the air and slamming a monkey back with her forepaws, snarling and snapping her teeth in warning.

As Zelena's scowl deepened, she thrust the ball of green energy downward, smirking when she heard the shrieks of alarm and watched as various people jumped out of the way. There. That's more like it, she thought in satisfaction. She was going to show them all why it was that they shouldn't mess with her. She was going to get everything she deserved. All she needed was one little ingredient and she would have everything she needed to go into the past and change things. Yes, it supposedly couldn't be done, but she had discovered a way that it could be done, so really, it was just a matter of people being too squeamish to get their way. Well, it was a good thing she wasn't bothered by such notions. After all, it wasn't as if she was paying the price. No, she was taking the life she deserved. And once she got that, she would finally be happy. And that's what she deserved: to be happy. She would go back in time, make sure her mother kept her instead of Regina, and she would be the queen to marry the king. And yes, she was quite aware that it would make her Snow White's stepmother, but that was fine. She would mold the girl to be just like her. Or maybe she'd kill her, depending on whether or not she was as annoyingly good as a child as she was now. It was still up for grabs. But either way, she would make sure that she got everything she deserved. But first, she needed to take care of them here. I will get the life I deserve, she thought to herself. She should've been the Queen. She should've been the one Rumplestiltskin had come to cast the Dark Curse, not Regina. And she was going to take what she deserved. She already had the heart, courage, and brains. She just needed the baby inside of Snow White's womb. The due date was any day now and as soon as that baby popped out, she was taking it as the final ingredient of her spell and turn back time so that she was the who got the good fortune of becoming queen. A jolt of energy coursing through her broke the witch out of her reverie and she screamed in pain and rage, summoning her own magic as green electricity climbed up her arm and she thrust the energy out, aiming it at the blonde Savior. Upstart little brat, she thought to herself. If she and her little freak offspring had just stayed in New York with the monkey she had sent to them, none of this would've happened. Her lovely Curse wouldn't have been broken and she would've been able to change history. With another cry, she thrust energy ball after energy ball at the woman, her frustration and anger mounting.

With a cry of her own, Emma summoned her own magic to her and threw her own fireball at her, the magic coursing through the air in a ball of white. This bitch had kidnapped Neal and hurt him. She had tried to hurt Henry. She needed to die. Her breathing quickened and her eyes flashed as she felt her magic crackling. It would be so easy. Just a few well-placed shots and she'd be finished.

Feeling the crackling in the air, Zelena looked and then couldn't help the laugh that escaped. The foolish girl was a novice and all brute force while she was much more clever and experienced. With a smirk, she summoned her magic and thrust it at the Savior using as much strength as she had, the smirk growing as she watched the woman yelp and jump back. Much better, she approved. Did the woman really think she could defeat her? She was nothing compared to her.

The smirk grew and she threw another bolt of electricity at the Savior. She was going to kill her! Once she did that, nothing and no one would stand in her way. She was going to get everything she deserved, no matter what. And the first step in doing that was getting rid of that damn Savior. No blasted Savior's going to stop me. Once I destroy her, I'll take everything I want and deserve, she thought to herself. Once the Savior was out of the way, she could get rid of her sister and then take over the Enchanted Forest, Storybrooke, or even both. Granted, she would've much preferred to accomplish her goals on the sly, but they had nixed that plan, so she was forced to improvise.

Summoning her magic to her, she inhaled sharply, focused on her target and then thrust her magic at the blonde-haired woman, her lips curving into a terrible and satisfied smile when she screamed in pain. Yes! Now this little upstart was beginning to realize just who she was dealing with. She let out another blast, resulting in another scream. As the magic enveloped the blonde-haired woman, the witch used her hand to guide it, her eyes lighting in excited pleasure as she watched marks appear on her body in the guise of gashes, tearing her skin and causing blood to flow. Moments later, she pulled her magic away from the Savior, using it to lift herself up higher into the sky, laughing as she watched as the other woman fell to the ground motionless. Let that be a lesson to those goody-two-shoes, she mused triumphantly. This just proved what she always believed: wicked always won…
