Note: This will be an AU, we're ignoring "Doug Out" onwards. With White Diamond using Earth as her entertainment, she'd ensure Earth would be left alone. I will acknowledge the Movie, however, but we're ignoring everything else.

-First Mission Arc 3-

Leo had set up a plan. Using the Omnitrix, he scanned Simian's corpse unlocking the Arachnichimp transformation. He simply transformed into one and would act as his replacement. He looked at his new form in the mirror. His outfit was simply adjusted for the new limbs and stature with the Omnitrix symbol on his chest.

"Spider-Chimp, Spider-Chimp, does whatever a Spider-Chimp does." Leo sang to himself as everyone was readying their position.

Shar and Scarlet hid the body and lay into position as Shippo slithered into Simian's ship to take over the controls. Soon enough, Simian's communicator rang, and it was her. Hessonite was here and Shippo had the garden's sphere opened up to let her ship in. Hessonite's ship landed with Leo could only detect two Gems on the ship. The ship opened up and out walked Hessonite and a Peridot.

"You're not Simian." Hessonite said coldly.

"He had an emergency to handle. So, he called his understudy, Kaine." Leo said giving off a bit of a rougher tone to his voice. "I got your stuff here. I just want the money."

"Organic filth and their greed." Hessonite snarled. "And you have the nerve to set shop in Pink Diamond's scared garden."

Leo rolled his eyes as he entered Simian to roll out the grenades before noticing among his things…was a gem destabilizer. Several of them. Leo cracked a wide grin as he called up Shar on his communicator letting her know there was a change of plans. He snagged two with his second set of arms and wheeled the grenades out to see a fight was going down. Leo played dumb asking what was going on.

"Resistance scum must have followed me here! Help me eliminate her!" Hessonite said clashing blades with Shar.

Scarlet had used the Paralyzer to catch the Peridot off-guard dragging her into the bushes while Hessonite was distracted with Shar and Spinel.

"Oh, I'll gladly help…myself." Leo said driving one Destabilizer into Hessonite's neck. "Spinel, restrain her!"

Spinel wrapped her noodle arms binding Hessonite's arms.

"What are you doing?!" Hessonite screamed in pain.

"Stabbing you in the back like my partner did Simian." Leo said before stabbing the other one in her back.

Hessonite's eye went wide before she poofed into her Gem leaving it to clatter on the ground. Shippo came out from Simian's ship before overtaking Hessonite's ship.

"Hack it, and transmit all the information you can get. What you can't get, leave it? We'll take both ships back to Rudeeze." Leo said as Shippo yipped.

He could hear the poof of another gem as Scarlet walked out with that Peridot in a bubble. Leo's Omnitrix beeped before returning him to his human form.

"Excellent work. All of you. Now let's head back." Leo said as everyone nodded in agreement.

After the trip back, the Resistance was pleasantly surprised to see them return with captured ships, but were floored to see Leo had gotten rather lucky. After a lengthy explanation and paperwork to log, everyone had gathered.

"You've managed to capture a Peridot gem!" Albedo said with a grin. "Perfect. We can input her gem into one of my new inventions to drain what she knows."

"A bit inhumane there." Azmuth said concerned.

"But not unjustified. All considering. I don't exactly like it, but it needs to be done. As for Hessonite, we can interrogate her later if it's okay with Magistrata Gunther." Leo said formally.

"It is. We should probably prepare to interrogate her, and I should lead in it personally." Molly said gruffly. "But Leo, you've done us all proud. As per guidelines, you will receive payment."

She cleared her throat as all four members of Leo's team and Shippo stood at attention as Molly called for Leo to step forward.

"For your bravery, service, kindness, and resourcefulness; Leo Mars of Earth, I officially declare you a full-fledged Resistance member and leader of your squad to which I allow you to name." Molly said before Leo spoke up, "Then let us be known as the Shatterpoint Squad, and I want to make a request to deputize Spinel here."

"Any objections?" Molly asked.

No one really had any reason to object, and it was fully approved. Spinel found herself crying tears of joy having found a place in the universe. A team to call her own and a shot at a new life…even if it was dangerous. They had received payment and Molly informed Leo that he could have Simian's ship and what was on it. The Resistance did take Hessonite's ship which he did not mind.

"So, what do we do now?" Spinel asked as they left the base.

"We can rest on Earth." Shar said sheepishly.

"And the garden would make for a nice hiding spot especially with it's coordinates now lost to the Diamonds thanks to Simian." Scarlet said as Leo had a grin. "We just need to make adjusts to the warp pad to keep it hidden."

"Guess I'm coming home." Leo said deviously.

On Earth, Garnet and the Crystal Gems were not finding success. The moment Leo left Earth, Garnet had realized her future vision was tampered with. She wanted answers. However, Leo's friends were not in a talking mood. Garnet realized she could not just make them talk considering. With her future vision clearing up, it became clear that he was not planning on attacking them much to her relief. It still left her wanting answers as the days had passed. Now, the Gems were just getting back from fighting a corrupted Gem.

"Steven, good job on taking it down." Bismuth said ruffling his hair.

"Thanks, Bismuth." Steven said sheepishly.

"Look, I know things have been rough lately, but you're getting there." Bismuth remarked as Peridot got a reading on her radar. "Hm? What's up?"

"Someone's activated the Galaxy Warp." Peridot said concerned. "I can't trace where it's coming from."

The group all went to the warp pad off to the Galaxy Warp.

[Cues: Dragonball GT Transformation Music: Tense Cut Scene]

As they arrived, Leo and Steven locked eyes once again after so long apart. The sight of a Rose Quartz made things tense, but Spinel's presence only made it even worse.

"Spinel?!" Pearl said stepping back.

"Oh look, it's Pink Diamond's sla…I mean, Pearl…no wait, slave." Spinel snarked.

"So, who wants to explain who Spinel is and who that is?" Steven said gesturing to Scarlet.

"Didn't your father tell you it's rude to point at people?" Scarlet said as Leo rolled her eyes.

"Steven…this is Spinel. She was your mother's playmate." Pearl said before Spinel spat at her face. "Ugh, why did you…"

"Because you could have went back for me, but you didn't!" Spinel snarled.

"Well well, so we met the Crystal Cowards." Shar said angrily.

"Cowards? Hey, we fight…" Amethyst said because Garnet interrupted.

"Pearl, look at the symbols on their patches." Garnet said as Pearl looked closely before paling. "The Galactic Resistance."

"What? But…but…we thought you fell in battle from the great raid all those years ago!" Pearl said fretting.

"Can someone just explain to me what all this is, please?" Steven pleaded.

"Did you think your race was the only one that Diamonds made suffer?" Shar asked coldly. "No, there were other races. They had allied with the CGs in the past, but then…that Pink weasel backstabbed the GR leading the other Diamonds to nearly slaughter the Resistance all those years ago. It's only in reason times that the modern Resistance is returning to form. We lost good men, women, and children. Races were made extinct or endangered."

"Is there a single good thing my mother has done for anyone?" Steven yelled in frustration.

"No." The Resistance members said in unison.

"Regardless, why are you here?" Garnet asked with a hint of demand.

"Why should I even tell you? You're not exactly a group I trust, and the Resistance doesn't trust you either. You think you can ask me a question and expect me to answer you. I frankly don't give a damn." Leo said before Steven got in the middle.

"Easy, we all just want to protect the Earth. Can't we just get along?" Steven asked trying to defuse the situation.

Steven was rather lucky that Leo calmed down. Leo had a lot of time to think while out in space, and he was considerably less angry at Steven then he was previously.

"He's right." Leo said begrudgingly. "I shouldn't dump on you for the faults of Pink."

"Technically, we can blame Pearl." Spinel said before Scarlet smacked the bed of her head. "What? She was her right head woman."

"Despite that, antagonizing them is unneeded." Shar said. "We need to get going. I'll ready a warp pad."

Shar took out a small spherical device, one of Peridot's (Hessonite's) Robonoids which was reprogrammed. Using it to fix one of the broken pads, the Resistance walked over to it.

"For your sake, it's best you stay out of our way." Leo said icily before they left through the pad.

"Should we try to tra-" Peridot said before Steven said no.

"He's not our enemy, but I want an explanation. Pearl, tell me the truth about this and Spinel." Steven said as Pearl took a breath.

"What they said was true. There are other races who have suffered under the Diamonds, thus they formed a resistance group. Back then, they were called Revival. They teamed up with us because similar goals and access to Gem technology. But…they discovered Rose was actually Pink and that no one other than me knew. They were going to expose, and she exposed them to the Diamonds. It was a massacre. As for Spinel, she was her playmate until she abandoned her in the garden. I wanted to ask about her, but I was forbidden to." Pearl explained as Steven had a downcast look on his face. "Steven, it's not your fault."

"It's just…how can I fix the sea of the mistakes of it just gets bigger?" Steven said quietly. "Meanwhile, Leo's setting himself to fight for the world."

[Music Ends]

For Leo, it was humorous to use his cell phone to call his friends.

"Leo? Dude, how are you getting signal?!" Jude asked.

"I'm back on Earth actually." Leo remarked. "We just got back."

"You did? Man, it's been a week." Jude remarked. "Where are you?"

Leo put his hand over his phone turning to Shar for an answer.

"According to the radar, we're southwest of a Beach City." Shar said looking around.

"Of course, we are." Leo thought before speaking to Jude, "Outside of Beach City…"

"You need a pickup?" Jude asked.

"Nah, I got a ride." Leo said as Shippo yipped. "I'll call when I'm back in town."

He turned to Ship as it transformed into what Shar and Scarlet lovingly called an 'Anterian Obliterator', a relic from the old days of the Resistance. A spaceship that was a flying arsenal. Shippo opened up and the crew took off for Leo's hometown blasting at high speeds in the sky. Leo could not help but have a big shit-earning grin to up and land it in the mall parking lot. The looks on their faces was priceless.

"What's up, everybody?" Leo said as Shippo opened the hatch.

"And here comes the Mr. Space Hero!" Wayne said teasingly as Leo came out. "But in all seriousness, sweet ride."

"Dude, they let you have a ship!" Jonesy said as Shar shyly came down. "And an alien babe…."

"You guys remember, Shar? Let me introduce you to the rest of the team I lead. Spinel and Scarlet." Leo said as the Gems came down. "And lastly Shippo."

Shippo returned to his small, cute, and normal dog-like self.

"They let you lead a team of space babes….this man is a chad." Wayne said as Jonesy just glared at Leo.

"Regardless, it's good to have you back." Nikki said warmly. "How long are you staying?"

"For now, a short time until I'm recalled for a mission. We have a faster means of getting to HQ, so I can be home on my off-time. I do have plenty to tell…over lunch." Leo said as Jude offered to pay for lunch.

Within the secret room of Gem Galaxy, the group had eaten lunch as Leo explained a bit about his time in space with the Resistance.

"Wait, if you got a watch that scans alien DNA, why don't you use it on that Steven kid for a Diamond transformation?" Jude asked.

"Because he's half-human. I'd probably need a full-blooded Diamond. Plus, I haven't scanned a Gem yet as I want to be careful with which ones I pick. Even then, I still want to be careful using the Omnitrix." Leo said reasonably.

"You should be, Leo. Don't over rely on it, and don't abuse it either. However, I do think coming back to Earth is a risk. You could be detected." Ron said concerned.

"The Crystal Gems are not exactly our enemy. I had time to think, and I hate to say this…but we need their help." Leo said with a groan. "Considering from what I see, they have new members that weren't under Pink…they don't deserve the scorn. And Bismuth was directly betrayed by Pink…I'm pretty sure she's only there for Steven. I was thinking of considering asking the higher ups to consider an alliance."

Shar, Scarlet, and Spinel looked a bit surprised.

"I see where you're coming from. Steven's not guilty of Pink's crimes, and you're acknowledging it wanting to make up for basically threatening to kill him." Jude said as Leo nodded.

"I can talk with them about this, but they're going to exactly like this." Shar said.

(A/N: And we end things here for the first arc. Should the Resistance consider Leo's reasoning? That's up to you to decide in the reviews. Me? I think the Resistance would probably take into account that, but they would flat out refuse Pearl (as a reasonable precaution).)
