"Momma, when will the baby be born?" Adara quietly asked as she was sprawled across the couch, her head resting on the large baby bump. Aleisa hummed as she ran her fingers through her daughter's hair soothingly.

"Any day now sweetie. They'll come when they are ready." She assured the small girl with a grin. Adara pouted cutely, her face scrunching up as she eyed the bump.

"Well I'm ready now." She pouted. Aleisa chuckled.

"I know dearest, but we just have to be patient."

...

[ One week later]

...

"Peter!" the man jolted from where he was lightly napping on the couch at the screech of his wife. Still groggy from his abrupt awakening he stumbled up and staggered over towards the stairs. At the top Aleisa glared down at him, already attempting to waddle down the stairs.

"I'm done waiting. This child is coming out today!" she fumed, slowly making her way down. Peter stared at her with wide eyes, trying not to grin.

"What happened to being patient and letting the baby come in their own time?" he asked meekly. Aleisa shot him a fiery glare, pushing her dark hair away from her face.

"Shut up." She snarled. Peter bit his lip, torn between laughing and running away.

"Aleisa why don't you give it…."

"If you tell me to give it another day so help me, I will strangle you where you stand." She growled, almost to the bottom. Peter nodded dutifully, more easily able to realize when he should be quiet after two previous rounds of this. His wife sighed heavily as she finally made it to the bottom of the stairs.

"Alright grab the stuff we're leaving and getting this child out of me right now." She demanded, heading to the door.

"Hon, we have two other children that need to be taken care of before we leave." At the reminder of her other children Aleisa paused and turned around to spot them by the entrance-way to the sitting room. She groaned in dismay.

"You're right, but please hurry. I don't think I can take this pregnancy much longer." She moaned, heaving herself to sit on the couch as Peter headed off to the phone in the kitchen. His two children followed quietly after, eyeing their mother who was muttering miserably in the other room.

"Mom's scary." John muttered in bewilderment. Peter grinned, holding the phone away from his mouth as he waited for someone to answer.

"I know buddy. The baby is just giving her a hard time." He assured in amusement. Adara's lip wobbled worriedly.

"Will she always be like this now?" she whispered; her eyes wide at the thought. Peter gently ran his hand over her head in comfort.

"No sweetie, I promise once she has the baby she'll be back to normal. Mommy is just grumpy right now." He assured before becoming distracted by his mother on the other end of the phone.

...

After a trip to the hospital and induced labor Aleisa finally had her third child. The little boy snuggled up against her chest as she held him, tiredly caressing his dark hair.

"He's so cute. I want one now." Raelyn cooed from the bedside, grinning down at the little boy. Aleisa chuckled.

"Just wait until yours grows up, they only stay so cute for just a little while." She commented, pointedly looking down at the small bump that the younger redhead was sporting. Raelyn blushed and wrapped her arms around her husband Edmund.

"She's right. Once they come out they're right devils." Ed muttered, grinning at the adamant protest he got from his niece and nephew. Raelyn smacked his chest gently but giggled nonetheless.

"So what did you name this little guy?" Susan inquired, running her fingers over her new nephew's head. Aleisa grinned down lovingly as the little baby yawned and looked up at her silently with his blue eyes.

"This is Theodore Paxton Pevensie. Or Teddy for short." Peter explained, holding his daughter in his arms so she could continue to stare at the small person in her mother's arms.

"Hi Teddy!" Adara eagerly waved. The adults all grinned at her enthusiasm. John reached over towards his new little brother and grinned when a little fist latched onto his finger.

"Looks like he's already taking a shine to his big brother." Aleisa complimented, smiling over at her eldest. John grinned as he tugged and Teddy refused to let go.

"I think he's alright so far. I'm just glad he's not another sister." John shrugged. Aleisa swatted his shoulder as he burst into laughter. Teddy gurgled in his mother's arms, staring around at all the people in the room.
