Wow… it's been a while since I last updated… Sorry for the long wait…

Thank you guys for the reviews! If I wouldn't have read them, I'd probably have abandoned this story. So keep in mind that your reviews meant a lot for me!

I feel the need to mention that this chapter contains: character death (kind of), murder, violence, gore and Bakura being a psycho. Also, I went back through the previous chapters and corrected all grammatical errors I could find.

And now that I got that out of the way, let's get to the story!

Week 1, Wednesday, Morning

Last night Bakura was able to have calm, undisturbed sleep, with the thought of Ryou not being bothered by his love rival. Right now, he was patiently waiting for his Kohai in his now usual hiding place. As he waited, he couldn't help but realise that he had been stalling Ishtar's elimination for almost half the week. Time was running short and he had to come up fast with a way to get rid of him for good. Just as he began to ponder on ways of removing Ishtar from the image his angel finally turned on the corner. His heart fluttered and the sight of his crush felt like his entire day has been made. The sound of his laughter and the sight of his smile made his own soul glow in delight and happiness. His usual scowl flipped over into a dreamy smile, seeing Ryou through rose coloured glasses.

However, the moment he realised who he was laughing with the frown returned on his features. Bakura observed from the shadows as his Kohai passed beside him with Malik in tow. Bakura let out an annoyed grunt at the sight of the flamboyant jerk. He forgot that they're neighbours and that they would probably make up this morning. He had to come up with a scheme that would have Ryou too disgusted of Malik to even look at him.

Bakura was buried so deep in his malicious thoughts that he almost didn't take notice of the silent figure walking in Malik's shadow. Eyeing him warily his first thoughts were instantly suspecting the new student of plotting to charm Ryou away from his silent admiration.

The guy following Malik was tall and mostly bald with a long black ponytail hanging off from his tan head. He had half his face bandaged and a single long earing hanged from his visible ear. As he continued his observation on him, the whitette noticed that the stranger's eyes were glued on Malik's back, rather than his angel's. This gave him a great sensation of relief, but he couldn't help but have a morbid feeling in his gut telling him that he will cause some trouble in his plans.

As the four of them reached the school gates, the new face left the trio leaving some privacy for Malik and Ryou. In the midst of students pouring through the gates, Bakura used the crowd to discreetly sneak behind a bush to listen in on their conversation.

"So, Ryou, why do you spend so much time in the school plaza?" Malik asked. Bakura almost expertly noted the awkwardness in the air as the annoying blond spoke.

"I like the sound of the fountain and the sight of the falling cherry blossoms. I think it's the most soothing place in the whole school." The younger teen replied with a beam never leaving his face as he shyly looked sideways. His beatific voice was like music to Bakura's ears as he spoke. He felt like he could listen to it forever. If only Ryou would be talking to him rather than Malik.

"I… I think the most soothing place is next to someone you care about…" Malik mumbled under his breath as a blush crept its way on his face. Seeing that Bakura felt so tempted to just punch him in the face and scream at him that Ryou was his. His hands were twitching alongside his nearly bloodshot eyes.

"Sorry, I couldn't hear that. What did you say?" The shorter male blinked as he was snapped back into the conversation by Ishtar's whiney voice.

"…N-nothing. But doesn't it get boring to spend most of your time sitting in one spot?"

"If there's a nicer spot in school, I'd love to see it." Ryou thought aloud, his green cat-like eyes leaving eye contact again, as a sign of feeling slightly uncomfortable in the conversation. Bakura couldn't stop the satisfied smirk from forming on his face. But the moment he did so Malik also noticed Ryou losing interest so he blurted out something random.

"Oh, yeah? Challenge accepted! I'll prove that I can find a better spot!" Even though the attempt was pitiful, it did get his angel's attention.

"…Uh… It's not a competition…"

"Don't underestimate me! I'll show you, Ryou!" The blond declared with a smirk.

"You might be taking this… a tad too seriously…" Ryou whispered as Malik rushed away. Leaving him behind, all alone with Ryou. Ryou… Bakura's mind went entirely blank as his stomach kept flipping at the thought of his angel being rid from the monster trying to steal him away from him and being left all for Bakura to claim. Being engulfed his euphoric fantasy Bakura failed to see his Kohai entering the school building.

The tall teen mentally slapped himself in the disappointment of losing sight of his love target. Emerging from behind the bushes, he continued his way to school. Infront of him, he saw Malik running out of behind the bushes on the other side of the school gate as he caught up with the bandage faced guy.

"Oh, my gods… I blew it… This is so… embarrassing! Just… Kill me!" He whined to the other.

"Calm down, brother! What's wrong? What happened?" The presume brother asked in a calm stern voice.

"We were having a perfectly nice conversation, and then… I turned into some… Stupid competition, or something! Grrr, what was I thinking?!" At least he realised he was being a massive moron with Ryou. Still, Bakura was surprised how Malik didn't slap his companion with the over-exaggerated hand gestures he expressed himself with.

"Please, just… relax! I'm sure it's not that bad. Just make the most of things, and I'm sure everything will turn out okay!" The taller attempted to soothe him.

"Ahhhhh… Okay… I'll try. Thanks, Rishid… You always know what to say in times like this."

"Don't mention it! I'm here for you, okay?" He smiled at his brother. Bakura gagged at the heartfelt moment shared between the two before him. Malik's happiness really felt like a dire blow to his pride. He really gave his all to make him feel miserable, but it seemed like Malik needed a little more pushing.

"Morning, Bakura!" The addressed male tensed as an arm appeared around his shoulders out of nowhere and pulled him down on a lower head level of Yami's smirking face.

"I was wondering when you'd show up…" Bakura grunted out as he freed himself from the clutches of the other teen.

"Aww you missed me that much!" Yami beamed jokingly with a laugh.

"No, I just had to prepare myself mentally…" He glared back at him stubbornly.

"You insulted me!" His acquaintance dramatically gasped out. "See? We're imprinting on each other! We're becoming friends!" He exclaimed with a huge grin on his face.

"Whatever." Bakura mumbled out under his breath.

"Let's head to class then." Yami offered as he proceeded to walk again.

"Don't you have club activities?" The taller one enquired as he tailed behind his shorter pier.

"Nah, Sahir-san won't be in today."

"How come?"

"Let's just say that he had an unfortunate freak accident." Yami whispered in an ominously low voice. Bakura incredulously eyed the shorter one as they too entered the building.

Week 1, Wednesday, Lunchtime

"No! Look if L wouldn't have looked at Light as a friend, he totally could have gotten him convicted!" Yami argued enthusiastically as they discussed one of his favourite animes.

It was just the end of their first class, and it was still early in on their lunch break. During the lesson, he busied himself with trying to think with Ishtar's head and imagine the most calming places in the school. Once figuring it out he decided to visit the fountain near the bush maze, however the moment he stood up from his school desk Yami instantly showed up next to him and asked Bakura to join him. Right now, they were sitting on the warm stone bench eating lunch. Throughout Bakura's wait for Ishtar to show up, the two of them began to chat and it turned out that they had a lot in common. They both enjoyed, games, gambling, crime shows, they both preferred meat dishes and they both disliked being told what to do.

"But he didn't so it doesn't count. Therefore, L is not as competent as Near." Bakura rebutted his claim.

"Well, that's just because he didn't know Light on a personal level as L did! Plus, he had Mello helping him." The shorter continued their discussion as he took a big bite out of his yakisoba pan.

"Shut up."

"Ha! You're only saying that because I'm right!" He smirked laughing out loud, his words slightly muffled by the mouthful he just took.

"What about here?" They heard a sudden a familiar voice.

"Oh! This place is perfect! Ryou would love it here!" Bakura visibly cringed at the typical fretful voice of Ishtar.

"Excuse me. We'd like to take a picture. Could you two move for a while?" Rishid asked them.

"Sure! We'll move." Yami answered for the both of them as he held Bakura's hand and dragged him up and out of the camera's view as Malik snapped a quick picture and rushed away in a giddy frenzy, his brother barely being able to catch up with him.

"Rude… They didn't even thank us…"

Looking at Bakura Yami felt his hand twitched in his grasp, his other hand squeezing his steam buns so hard the sweet bean filling burst out of its fluffy shell.

"Bakura?"

"Who the hell are they?" He demanded from Yami.

"The Ishtars… They think too highly of themselves if you ask me. Why do you ask?"

"No reason." Bakura muttered as he stared after them, for an uncomfortably long time.

"So you have a crush on Malik-kun or something?" He asked Bakura, finally breaking the silence.

"What? No!" Bakura snarled at the idea Yami was suggesting.

"Oh come on! I heard the rumours about someone stalking him! And don't think for a moment that I haven't actually seen you spying after him on the mornings!" The shorter teen pressed.

"You've got it all wrong… It's kind of the opposite." He tried to explain himself, without giving away too much.

"Oh! I get it now! Don't worry, your secret is safe with me." Yami promised with a thumbs up.

"Not with you, its not, you rumour spreading pro-gossiper." He frowned at the other using the little information he had on Yami so far.

"Relax, you're my friend. I'll keep this one." He winked at Bakura. "You wanna go clean up?" Yami asked as he pointed at Bakura's sauce-covered uniform.

"Yeah. Now let go of my hand."

On his way back from the bathroom, Bakura collected a large bucket and filled it up with water. Bakura guessed in his head that after Malik took the picture, he'd show it to Ryou. So he hurried to the entrance Malik would walk through and set a bucket trap he learned in Junior High. Once he finished, he hid behind the door and waited for his target to walk through. He was lucky that most students were already either in the cafeteria or their clubrooms. The only thing he didn't calculate with, was Ryou being in the same environment as him. At the sight of his Kohai his knees went weak, and he completely forgot what he was doing or where he was. He just stared at the serene beauty sitting on the side of the fountain infront of him. He was fortunate that Ryou was so wrapped up in his book that he didn't notice him. Then he heard the splashing sound of the water dropping on the head of his aim, as Malik let out a loud shriek.

"Ugh, seriously?! Who did this?! This isn't funny! Ugh! Now I have to change my clothes! What a waste of time!" How typical… Bakura thought as he followed the pair rushing towards the changing rooms. It somewhat annoyed Bakura that Rishid followed him even there. His constant presence meant that it was only going to be harder to get rid of Malik. Bakura watched Malik as he entered the steam-filled room. He hurriedly turned his head away as Ishtar began to strip his insides twisting in disgust. Bakura felt like he couldn't see anyone else like that besides Ryou. Even though they weren't together yet, Bakura felt a sort of devotion towards Ryou he couldn't betray. Deep down he wished Ryou would feel the same way towards him…

Once Malik and Rishid continued their way to the bath, Bakura took his chance and swiped Malik's phone from his locker. The phone was almost big enough to be called a tablet and it was wrapped in radiant cancer waking colours of its phone case. It kind of reminded him of the brute's personality. Bakura exited the small one room building and rushed over to an identical building dedicated for the girls. Stepping on a rock as a makeshift stool he lifted the phone to a window and snapped a few pictures. Scrolling through the pictures he took he did see a few ones with a few girls missing some pieces of their uniforms. He took a few pictures of the ones on Malik's phone for later usage with Daku-kun. His deed completed, Bakura placed the phone back where he took it from before Malik could have noticed.

Week 1, Wednesday, Afternoon

After school, Yami disappeared off to somewhere before he could have bothered Bakura. But it was probably someone else from the Drama Club dragging him away for club activities as Bakura guessed. Once he was finished with cleaning duty he decided to wait by the bush where Ryou and Malik usually met up. Bakura patiently waited behind a tree while he passed time on his phone, scrolling through Daku-kun's services he could provide. He didn't have to wait long until Ryou showed up and Malik power walked out of school with his brother.

"Hey, Ryou – I want to show you something! Take a look!" The blonde excitedly said as he began to wave his phone infront of Ryou's face who clearly didn't appreciate the blurred flashes of light in his face. Ryou tentatively took the large flat screen and looked at the picture Malik took at the tree.

"Wow! These pictures are great!" Ryou smiled as he scrolled through the still-life pictures." You have a talent for… um… uhhhhh…" Ryou stuttered as he continued scrolling.

"What? What is it? What's wrong?" Malik asked in a tone of surprise as he studied Ryou's expression with worry visible in his eyes.

"…Gosh… I really didn't think that you'd do this sort of thing…" His angel muttered as his surprise shifted into disgust.

"What are you talking about? Let me see!" The violate eyed youth demanded as he snatched his phone away from Ryou. "What the… What is this?! How did this get on my phone?" He screeched out in horror as his face became red in an unreadable expression.

"…I guess there's a side of you I never knew about…" Ryou whispered softly with disappointment clear in his ethereal voice as he walked away from his childhood friend without another word.

"Wait! I didn't take these pictures! I swear! You've gotta believe me!" Malik pleaded after Ryou as Rishid watched along with the hidden Bakura. "I messed up… But how did these pictures get on my phone?" He asked as Rishid put his hand on the younger's shoulder.

Bakura felt ecstatic as he witnessed the despairing scene fold out between the two. This should be enough for Ryou to have his faith in Malik ultimately questioned. His angel would be finally left alone by Malik and he could have him all for himself… Now he just needed Ryou to have all positive emotions and fond memories of Malik crushed. Once Ryou stopped caring about Malik he would cut his life short only then. He wanted his angel to be affected by Malik's departure from the living as little as possible. He hurt him enough already… He mused to himself on his way home.

(((Bakura∞Simulator)))

Malik woke up to the sensation of his blood circulation being cut off by tightly tied ropes around his limbs. Groaning he opened his eyes to a flickering lamp. Weakly lifting his head his amethyst eyes met bloody ruby ones.

"Morning sunshine!" He heard a mocking coo of a familiar voice as he came to recognise the ebony-haired male flashing a cheshire grin.

"Senpai…? What's going on?" He questioned the male leaning above him wearing a sinister smile.

"Do you know why you're here Ishtar?" Bakura asked as he turned away from him and walked away towards a rusted metal trolley.

"N-no? Did you bring me here?" He contended to which Bakura let out a crazed cackle.

"How can you be so fucking oblivious?" Bakura glared at him as he grabbed a red smeared wooden bat.

"I don't understand what you mean!" Malik yelled out in panic as he cagily eyed the bat in Bakura's hand, as he desperately tried to struggle against his bonds.

"You!" He hollered in rage, aggressively stepping a foot on Malik's hand, crushing his fingers as his victim screamed out in pain and tears began to spill from his eyes. Pain coursed through his body while he uncontrollably sobbed from the sensation. The blond cried out louder as Bakura pressed his weight down on his crippled hand. "You tried to take Kohai away from me." He stated coldly as his eyes twitched and his pupils narrowed. "And that is unacceptable." He announced as he took aim with the bat ready to strike.

"No..." Malik realised the situation he was in and began to struggle more against the ropes around his wrists. His face twisted into a terrified grimace as his body began to shake and his almost wordless begging became almost unintelligible. "Please no... NOOOOOOOOOO-!" Bakura bashed the bat against his head, cutting his bloodcurdling screams of horror off and erupting blood from a freshly opened wound, followed by a grisly crack of the skull. Fresh blood tainted Malik's blond hair as it splashed on the surface of the bat and it met with his head again and again as his pleading became quieter and quieter until it completely stopped. Even though the motionless body stopped emitting all the gruesome wailing, Bakura didn't stop hitting until Malik's features became so disfigured, he wasn't recognisable anymore.

Once Bakura was satisfied, he dropped the bat and began to giggle psychotically above the mutilated corpse of his nemesis.

Bakura's jewelled eyes snapped open as he stirred from his dream. Disturbingly he smiled at the vision he'd seen of his rival.
"I suppose that's one way to get it done." He sneered, before placing his head back on his comfortable pillow, looking at the hundreds of pictures made of Ryou hanging from his wall, the sight of the sweet smile lulling him back not sleep.

Whoo! Chapter done! I'll try to update more frequently from now on if I can. And I can promise that next chapter, Malik will die. Not that I'm looking forward to killing off one of my favourite characters…

R&R if you want to!

Next time… On Bakura Simulator…

"Wait, you want to help me? Why?"

"No offence but you barely known me for a week. There's a lot you don't know about me yet. Now grab his legs before anyone else notices."
