The sunlight emerged from clouds, hitting the gravestone in a way that made it glow.
Kyo opened his mouth, closed it, tried again. "Good that he gets some sunshine today, yeah?"
Tohru squeezed his arm. "That's what I was hoping for!"
It was so bright. His eyes started burning. He didn't look away. "A year already."
He felt her lean against him. Soon, she spoke. "A wonderful person once told me that it's okay to cry. To be selfish. Kazuma-san still accepts all of your feelings, Kyo-kun, and so do I. I miss him, too."
He let the tears come.
