Notes: After a long -loooooooooooong time -I guess I'm back.

Hey, guys!
I'm really sorry for all the delay. Honestly, I lost my muse with this work. I was upset with Jon for being an idiot and with myself for letting the story go that route. I didn't want to deal with my own mess, so…
Anyway. I want to thank all of you who didn't give up on this work. Who left kudos and amazing comments all the while. You're the best and I hope this chapter is deserving of your love and support.

Chapter 15

"Robb…" Jon started, even though he wasn't sure what he'd say.

"Did you just say you broke up with Sansa?" Robb demanded, pushing further into the bathroom. "You were dating my sister?" He looked pissed.

"Robb, calm down." Theon put a hand on Robb's chest.

Jon appreciated the gesture, even though he knew Theon would be the first to get out if Robb started throwing punches.

"Robb…" Jon tried again.

"Answer me, Snow!" Robb demanded.

And Jon, stupid, stressed and normally quiet Jon, said the truth and fucked everything up. "We weren't exactly dating."

He realized his mistake as soon as the words left his mouth. Theon was looking at him like was the stupidest person alive and Robb was frozen in place.

He probably was the stupidest person alive. What the fuck was wrong with him?

"What did you just say?" Robb yelled at him.

Theon got his hands off Robb and Jon didn't judge him for that. Honestly, at this point, he understood Theon and he knew he deserved to be punched.

Robb didn't really punch him at first; he just grabbed Jon by the jacket and pushed him against the wall. "What did you just say?" Robb demanded again.

"Robb…"

"Do you mean to tell me…" Robb demanded. "That you've been using my sister?"

"No!" Jon protested immediately. "That's not what happened."

"You're stretching that, mate." Theon called from his place -quite far from them. "They were just not serious."

Robb glared at Theon. "I don't believe that. Sansa isn't like that."

Jon didn't need to see Theon's glare to know it was time to shut up. "Robb…" Jon started again. "I'm sorry you heard about it like this."

"I can't believe you!" He pushed away from Jon. "I told Hardyng he was lying when he came to me saying you were…" Robb pressed his lips together. "I said you were my friend and you'd never go behind my back like that."

"I didn't go behind your back." Jon insisted. "Sansa and I decided…"

"You say my sister's name, I'm gonna punch you." Robb warned him.

"Jesus Christ, you two are so fucking dramatic." Theon exploded. "Sansa is a grown ass woman, Robb. She can make her decisions. And you, Snow! Stop being such a fucking martyr." Both men stopped and looked at Theon in shock.

Robb took a deep breath, then turned to Jon.

"Robb…"

And then Robb just punched him. "If she's upset…" Robb told Jon as he covered his face. "I'll come back and punch you harder." He threatened.

When Robb left, they saw the group of people outside, probably listening to the whole fucking thing.

"Man… You're in trouble." Theon commented.

"No shit?"

"I can't believe Margaery Tyrell dried your tears." Jeyne commented lightly.

"Neither can I." Sansa admitted. "But she was nice."

"That's cute." Jeyne cooed. "Does that mean she's welcome to the family?"

Sansa chuckled. "Shut up."

They were quiet for a while. "Do you want to talk about it?" Jeyne asked softly.

"Not really." Sansa sighed. "I've already talked to her, and… Nothing will change."

"Do you want me to hit him?" Jeyne offered.

"Let's not perpetuate the cycle of violence, okay?" Sansa snorted. "It is what it is."

"This is so anticlimactic." Jeyne sighed. "I expected better from him."

Sansa sighed once again. "So did I." She confessed.

Robb was beyond angry at Jon. And Theon. And possibly Sansa.

How could he've been so blind that all of this was going around him and he never noticed it?

How could they all have hidden this from him?

Perhaps he just hadn't wanted to see it; he ignored the signs. Hardyng had told him that Jon and Sansa were… He wasn't going to use that word when talking about his sister.

Even though it was exactly what Hardyn had said: "Your friend Snow is fucking your baby sister."

It'd been the day after the party at Marge's sorority. He'd ignored Hardyn, thinking he was just being a fucker because Robb had argued with him; but he'd -somehow -known it.

"I heard you and Snow were acting like neanderthals today. What gives?"

Robb hadn't seen Marge approaching him, but then again, apparently he wasn't seeing a lot of shit lately.

"I might've punched him." Robb admitted, embarrassed despite himself.

Sansa had told him not to go around fighting because of her. He wasn't even sure why he'd punched Jon.

Margaery pulled a chair and sat beside him. There were people around the library and Robb knew they were looking and gossiping. If Marge knew he had fought Jon, so did the whole fucking campus.

"Did you hear about him and Sansa?" She asked.

"Oh fuck." Robb cursed. "You knew?"

"They weren't half as subtle as they liked to think, Robb." She rolled her eyes. "The only reason you didn't know about it was because you didn't want to. You didn't want to think that your baby sister was dating your best friend."

"But they weren't dating." He growled. "Jon said so himself."

"Snow is a fucking idiot." Margaery told him plainly. "He's probably drowning on male drama right now. Your sister is a mature girl, she can make her own choices."

"Yeah, but she can't…"

"What? Have casual sex? Like you do?"

"Hey." He turned to her. "There's nothing casual here."

Margaery arched an eyebrow at him, clearly willing him to understand something.

And he did. "Shit. Do you think they…"

"Are crazy about each other but too stupid to properly discuss it?" She offered dryly. "Yes."

"Oh shit…"

"Listen, let them solve it between themselves, ok? And don't punch Jon for it."

"Too late, I guess." Robb sighed, then rubbed his face. "I don't even… I shouldn't have done it. Jon is cool and he and Sansa can take care of themselves. I was just so angry that…"

"They were hiding something from you?" She offered.

"Yes. It was unfair."

Margaery shrugged. "At least you know that. Now."

He grinned at her. "Why are you being so nice to me?" He teased.

"I talked to Sansa." Margaery told him. "You were right; I like her."

His grin got bigger. "I knew you would. You two are very much alike."

"Yes, I can see that now." She tapped her nails against the table. "She also told me to date you."

Robb was caught by surprise. "She did?"

Margaery just nodded.

"And?" He asked, incapable of helping himself.

"Well, she had a point." She conceded, her grin mirroring his.

Robb scooted his chair closer to hers. "So… You're dating me now?"

Margaery leaned closer. "Yes. I am."

With everything that had happened, Jon actually forgot that the Wildlings were coming to King's Landing.

Honestly, his head was all over the place. He hadn't talked to Robb or Sansa, or anyone else for that matter. Sam kept looking at him like Jon was some kicked puppy and even Ghost seemed unhappy lately.

It was no shock, then, that he came face to face with Ygritte and it took him a full minute to assimilate it was her.

"What's wrong with you, Snow?" She asked, hand on her waist. "Saw a ghost?"

"Ygritte?"

She snorted. "I was starting to think you'd forgotten my face."

Jon was about to ask her what she was doing there, then it all came back to him. The match. The Wildlings. It was that time already.

Jon sighed. "I'm sorry. It's just been one of those weeks." He gave her a small smile. "How are you?"

"Clearly better than you." She gave him one long look. "Do you want to have coffee?"

The last time he'd seen Ygritte had been when they broke up. It had been quite the showdown between them, but Jon didn't resent her and he didn't believe she had a grudge as well.

"Sure." He agreed.

They made small talk while they walked and waited for their coffee. Ygritte was about to graduate that year and she'd taken on meditation. She asked about Ghost, Sam and the fights.

"I'm glad you're fine." Jon told her once they sat down.

"Yeah… Look, this might be weird, but… Sorry about everything. You're nice, Jon, and I could've handled our relationship a lot better."

He wasn't expecting that. "So could I." He shrugged. "Maybe it wasn't just a good time for both of us."

"I think the same." She admitted. "We were kind of good, but also kind of terrible for each other."

Jon snorted. "You aren't wrong. But I don't regret it in general; just how it ended."

Ygritte made a face. "Yeah, that was bad. I regret that too." She gave him a look. "But I guess we're cool now… Right?"

Jon didn't even have to think hard about it. "We're cool."

And then, because fate hated Jon, the cafe door opened and Sansa came in. She looked tired, but still so beautiful... His eyes took her in, and he couldn't help it. She didn't see him sitting there, and that might be for the better.

"Who's the redhead?" Ygritte asked, noticing where he was looking at.

"She's…" Jon sighed. "Complicated."

Ygritte looked amused. "Is that your type? Complicated redheads?"

"It isn't like that. I fucked up."

"How?"

Jon was about to answer, but Sansa had grabbed her coffee and when she turned, she finally saw them.

He'd never told her about Ygritte, but the gossip around the campus was intense. It was highly unlikely that she hadn't heard about it.

She stood there for a second, eyes wide in shock. She looked from Jon to Ygritte, then spun on her heel and left.

"Ouch." Ygritte drawled. "What happened there? How exactly did you fuck up?"

Jon didn't want to talk about it, but for some reason he did. He told Ygritte about Sansa and Robb, what had happened between them and how he had freaked out and ruined it.

Once he was done Ygritte sighed. "Honestly, Jon… Why do insist in being a martyr?"

"I don't." He protested.

"You do." She pressed back. "Listen, you fucked up -badly. Talk to the girl, talk to your friend. You're all adults, Jon."

"I know, but…"

"No 'buts'." She cut in. "You've always had a hard time believing you deserve nice things or that it's okay to want them. You threw a fit and dumped a perfectly nice girl -by your own accounts -just because you felt insecure. Now, she might not want you back, but it doesn't mean you shouldn't apologize and beg for a second chance. She's ridiculously hot."

Jon ended up snorting at the end of that. "She is. But she's also kind and amazingly smart."

Ygritte rolled her eyes. "You're whipped. Talk to the girl."

Jon sighed. "You know what? I will."

Sansa was moping on her bed when Margaery invaded her bedroom, Jeyne hurrying after her.

"Get up, Stark." Margaery demanded. "Today is your brother's last fight. You'll watch it, cheer him on, then slap him on the back of the head, and you two idiots can move on."

"I tried to stop her." Jeyne offered.

"Jon will be there." Sansa grumbled. "With Ygritte."

Margaery arched an eyebrow. "She's here?"

"I saw them together." Sansa sighed.

"Forget, Snow." Margaery made a dismissive gesture with her hand. "Don't make me go to Robb's last fight alone."

"Take one of your friends." Sansa rolled her eyes.

"I'm taking you two." Margaery pressed, no room for argument. "Get dressed."

XxX

"Jon."

Jon hadn't expected Robb to come talk to him at all, much less for him to look so uncomfortable about it. "Hey."

"Listen…" Robb rubbed the back of his head. "I… Sorry about punching you." He finally said.

"You're sorry?" Jon asked confused.

"I had no right." Robb pushed on. "Your business with Sansa is… I really don't wanna know." He amended. "But I had no right to punch you for whatever was going on. I know it isn't an excuse, but hearing about it that way, being the last one to know…"

Right. That probably sucked.

"We're fine, Robb." Jon told him honestly, because Jon wasn't the type to hold a grudge. "Honestly, you did me a favor. I felt like I deserved it then."

Robb looked like he wanted to be anywhere but there just then. He took a deep breath in, before deciding to speak. "Listen… I don't want what happened between you two, and I'm okay with that. But… You're a great friend, Jon. If there's any chance, if you want to make things right with her… Just do it."

Jon nodded. "Aye. I'm working on it."

Robb nodded, eager to end this conversation. "Good. Treat her well."

"I will."

Sam appeared on the doorway. "Guys, they're calling you."

Robb offered his hand to Jon. "Let's kick some Wildling ass, Snow."

Jon shook his hand. "Aye, Stark."

They walked to the ring together. The place was packed tonight -more than it normally was. If they were working some type of license, the police would be closing the place already. As they weren't…

Jon and Robb didn't know why they were being called to the ring yet, but as soon as they entered it, the microphone was turned on. "Today is the Young Wolf's last night, so we've decided to give him a chance for a rematch."

All eyes were on them.

"He'll be fighting the Crow."

The crowd went mad.
