Kiyori – Tears of Nothing
Chapter 1: The Star Council
Unknown Time
Unknown Place
The council was to convine, and when it did, movements upon the Board would be set into motion. Xercine had informed Xeirn of his plan to announce two possible Heirs to take on the kingdom of Arendelle, and oust the High Priest. In truth it was to put the man on the defensive, upon an uneven yet still sure footing. After all, Kiyori controlled the kingdoms own military. And nearly controled the banks.
But that was not the concern. The concern was different, much more important and practical. It was also the first time the ten main members of the Council were present in the Chamber where Nothing Was. Xeirn had called the meeting to order, and had Xendras gather the others.
The first agenda was Xercine and the announcement of two possible Heirs to take his place in the kingdom as Queen when he was really just a Councilman who simply oversaw the kingdom in the now deceased, confirmed deceased at that, Queen Elsa. Nobody knew where Anna was, only that she was somewhere in the Kingdom.
The other plans on the Agenda was the battle to prepare for against the High Priest himself. The High Priest controlled Arendelles military and almost its entire financial system. But the man lacked many if that in terms of backup plans.
But Xeirn had a plan or two of his own. They each had a part to play in the massive game that was now the war for Arendelle. But Xeirn knew something far more important. The game board was not just Arendelle, Arendelle was going to be a small skirmish compared to anything else.
So, Xeirn was for the moment, alone in the Round chamber, the Chamber Of Nothing it was termed, the Never was a place outside of both time and space. Its own pocket of spacetime, a neon world outside, a pearl palace within. The Never was a city of darkness, backlit by the neon lights that denoted windows, walls, doors, signs, the works. The Pearl Palace that the Star Council resided within and used as their homebase of operations glittered in the predawn depths of blackness.
A moon of pearl white rock hung overhead. Occasionally it rained in the City that Never Slept. Which was fine with those who lived in the Palace.
The Chamber Where Nothing Was was a round room that contained twenty chairs upon a glass floor, with the lower level showing the machinery used to keep the palace running properly. Most of its systems were automated, and there were not many doors.
Each chair was taken up by a Member of the Council, ranging in order of when they were inducted. Chair number six was filled out of nothing but Darkness as Xiaoden appeared in her seat. The dark haired woman seemed bored, her hood was removed showing her face to Xeirn, who sat simply staring at nothing.
"Looks like I am early again" Xiaoden mused, already sounding as bored as she appeared.
"No" Said Xeirn calmly, his deep resonating tone rumbled heavily in the room, causing her to look to him in confusion. "The others are just late" it was true, he had called the meeting. It was going to be at a certain time, and yet, only Xiaoden he could rely on for showing up before the desired time.
The other chairs were soon filled by brief whisps of darkness as Xendras appeared, followed by Xinxin, Xexen, Xemir, Xiuen, Luxord was busy on a task, Xice took his seat as he appeared. Finally Xercine showed up. The other members were busy.
"We can begin" Xeirn said simply. He looked to the seat directly across from him, Xercine smiled and removed his hood. "Your plan, Twenty ?" Xeirn never said Xercines name
"I have considered many plans, both direct and indirect. But, to put the High Priest, Kiyori, on the defensive, I have decided I am going to choose, publicly, two possible Heirs, both of them are women. By doing so in full public view it will allow me the chance to get Kiyori off my back, and allow us more freedom in the kingdom." He said
"Kiyori is a smart Man" Xinxin said simply, of course he had to speak out of turn, but Xeirn didnt care if any spoke up with what was on their mind, this was after all the current agenda. "When you name your Heirs in full public, he will be on the defensive because of his possible loss of power in a new leader that the kingdom chooses."
"Exactly the opening we will need" Xiaoden spoke up, Xendras appeared bored. "The old one, Haversham, and I have been teaching the Wolfe with new bits of technology. But somehow he now wants to find the woman, the maid in his dream world."
"Mora is alive, but she is not in Arendelle." Xinxin informed.
"What about Napoli ?" Xiuen asked, the mere chance to return there haunted her at times. It was possible if they had to retreat, Napoli was where they could go.
"As of now the plan does not require to go there. In the mean time. Xercine shall make his announcement to the public. Xiuen. You shall, with Xemir, aid Xercine where needed. Do enjoy your food" His comments earned everyone wondering if Xeirn was in his right mind, he never referred to members by name after he Named them.
And yet he referred to Xiuen, and Xemir, as well as Xercine by name ? Was something big going down causing him to do this ? The short answer was yes, but the long answer was that things were actually more complicated then they should be. Which allowed Xeirn extra leeway when it came to the naming conventions. He still had to name members four and five into the bunch.
"There is still much to do, so I will make this quick for you all to understand, Xendras, Xiaoden, continue to train those you rescued from the Dream World. In the same time I will personally seek out DiT directly for further information." Xeirn said
"And us ?" Xexen asked, meaning himself and Xinxin.
"You are the scientist, have you any further information on the models ?" Xeirn asked
"Not as much as hoped." Xexen replied truthfully, he was barely able to get close to the models to examine them carefully, but now Xeirn was asking about what he so far found. "I am unable to get close enough to a model to analyse it carefully for further information thanks to the soldiers nearby."
"I see" Xeirn was thoughtful for a moment before smiling. "Xinxin, it is now time to put your information skills to the test. Seek out known patrols near models, when a model has clear enough time of none near it, Xexen can take said model for further study." He gave both men a careful look. "Try not to get caught. That is Xiaodens job."
"Oh sure blame me" Xiaoden smirked, it made Xeirn slightly unnerved that the woman loved playing as bait to draw trouble to her.
But there was another matter. "Xiaoden, you said there was a complication ?' Xeirn drew all eyes towards her. Of the bunch, only Xiuen wore a dress of some form, the rest all wore their dark black hooded cloaks. Xiaoden nodded. "Explain it"
"There are more then one magical element in the playing field. Just recently there was an event of some form in the Galasia District's centeral mall, a huge shopping bazaar. And before that a shootout on the road I was priviy to. Where I learned we might also have some help in this venture" Xiaoden reported, as she spoke, holographic information appeared between the assembled group. It showed Nara in battle. "I think he is a Force Dragon, his skills alone tell me he might be, but its his resistances and the fact that nothing thrown at him, magic or otherwise, stuck"
"And yet you have the same abilities as a member of the Star Council." Xexen said, that got Xendras attention.
"Relax will you, Xiaoden did the only thing she could given the matter at hand, and that was to get to safety, even if it meant leaving a Force Dragon alone in battle." To have Xeirns right hand man speak up meant that Xexen spoke out of line
"I mean no disrespect" Xexen said, "I only wish to know why you fled the scene"
"I fled the scene because Naratas Aigatis toldd me to do so" Xiaoden reported, she was to help Haversham train Mark further in combat while Xendras was going to help Anna and Diamond.
"Enough, there is a new matter to worry about." Xeirn said as his attention shifted to information about Xeir Zith. "Her daughter has awoken, and she has her memories intact. She is ready for battle, but according to reports, is not a good cook" An image of Xeir Zith formed, it showed her scaled left arm and hand. "A woman looking like this was briefly seen in the Galasia District. She was in the company of Naratas, and also a woman unknown to me."
"Waterlight" Xinxin said simply upon seeing the hooded woman. At Xeirns confused "Hm" noise Xinxin explained further. "The Lady-in-Waiting to the All-Mother herself. Apparently on a new mission as she was briefly seen in the Tael and Yaeko Districts before going to the castle in time for the evening meal."
"So Her Lady-in-Waiting is now working with Her daughter ?" Xeirn mused, this was more complicated by the day. But it gave them all very little time to think on the matter as Xeirn went quiet in thought as Xercine spoke up
"It works in our favor" He said simply.
"How so ?" Xeirn asked
"I could name three Heirs" Xercine said.
"Three heirs ?" Xeirn asked
"By naming Waterlight as one of them, yes, three possible Heirs." Xercine said simply.
"Waterlight is a Light Dragon, second only to Light in her court, but she defers, from what I know, to Kanwar and others in terms of power and control, more like a Master of Ceremonies when things get complex" Xinxin spoke up.
"You wish to name the Lady-in-Waiting to the missing All-Mother, a possible Heir ?" Xiuen asked out of confusion.
"If anything it will make Kiyori incredibly nervous that the woiman he has invited into his temporary home is a possible Heir, if it works into our favor, things will move smoother. She can keep him on uneven footing easily if the need arisies" Xercine said.
"But judging how Kiyori also threw, three times, the Icewraith known as Tiri into prison..." Xendras mumbled. He too had to act as a prisoner, if not briefly before meeting up with Diamond and Anna briefly.
"He cannot do a thing to Tiri, she is far beyond his ability to control" Xeirn said
"What of the Snowman, Olaf ?" came the question, from of all people, Xemir.
"What about him ?" asked Xeirn. It was an odd question, Olaf was made of snow, nothing more, so why was he important ?
"Xeir Ziths Nothing. The one known as Elsa, made him." Xemir said simply. "I found him wilderness west of Arendelle, so I brought him here to the City that Never Sleeps about a day ago" Xemir had to smirk, "However it was not easy to keep Xiuen from chewing on one of his arms"
"Hey!" Xiuen spo9ke up, but thankfully it was Xeirns snicker that made her calm down
"He is in the City now ?" Xeirn asked
"He is. The children in the city love having him wander about. He is rather innocent and from what I can tell, like Tiri, only in this case, not made of ice, made simply of snow" Xemir had then brtought up the holographic model of Olaf onto the table in the center of the Room.
"This snowman will be helpful in attaining the last few memories from Elsa, the Nothing will still be needed. And yet Xeir Zith will not remermber making the Snowman. Take the snowman to the city of Arendelle, put him in the same district that Xeir Zith resides, let them stumble upon one another naturally." Xeirn said simply
"We plan to extract memories now ?" Xexen asked
"No, we only need to complete the last few memories and return Olaf to his true home, Arendelle will have need of the Snowman soon." Xeirn said, it made the others think carefully.
"We all have our tasks before us" Xeirn finally said after several long moments of thoughtful quiet. "You will be wise to begin them" He gazed upon each of those present.
"With pleasure" Xercine said disappearing into a corridor of Darkness. Xeirns gaze lingered on Xendras for a moment, the second in command knew what it meant. The others each left in turn. Leaving Xendras and Xeirn alone in the Chamber of Nothing.
"A snowman, the key to the last few memories we need from Xeir Zith's Nothing, why did I not think of that ?" Xendras mused aloud.
"Because if you could think, the others would not be part of the Council now would they ?" Xeirn cracked a rare smile which made Xendras smirk.
"Alright boss, whats eating you ?" Xendras then skipped right around the deadhorse and plowed into the meat of the issues.
"Putting Kiyori on the defensive will only work to a point, and that point we must focus on." Xeirn said
"And you think those last few memories from Xeir's Nothing will help in the fight ?" Xendras asked. Xeirn nodded. "It makes a little bit of sense, not as much as one hoped, but still it makes a bit of sense, if any."
"You worry of the Snowman ?" Xeirn asked
"Maybe, something so innocent, and somehow likes giving warm hugs. Yeah, I think I might feel some worry for him... it... whatever the Snowman is." Xendras admitted, Olaf was innocent and carefree, yet also sweet and gentle, and loved summer, which was bizarre because he was a Snowman. Finally Xendras smirked, "Alright Boss, whats the plan ?"
"I want you to go to the Mythic realm. You are to go to the Silver Palace of Light's Court, and search for her last known whereabouts. If you find anything, come directly back to this room. Am I understood ?" Xeirn ordered
"Very much so, but what about training Diamond and Anna ?" Xendras asked. If Xiaoden learned he got to skip out on training his charges he would never hear the end of it.
"Leave that to me. You have your mission, get going." Xeirn said sternly. Xendras nodded, a corridor of Darkness formed around him and he disappeared. Leaving Xeirn alone in the room. The first thing he had to do was find DiT, talk to her, and see if he could figure out what happened to Light.
Everything now hinged on Light's last known movements. And if Waterlight was now working with Xeir Zith, that meant that Light had contegency orders for the Light Dragon to follow. But that in and of itself was not a bad thing either to begin with. It was however simply confusing.
Finally Xeirn himself left the Room, leaving it in silence as the pearlwhite floor became solid, hiding the mechanical bits from sight.
4 November
Arendelle
Galasia District
7 PM
"Where are we ?" Came the rather shrill voice of a snowman.
"We're in Arendelle, I told you this already" Xemir didnt like having to explain things to the very curious and yet very talkative snowman.
"Oh sure, Spikey funky man thing." Olaf mumbled in reply. Causing Xemir to rub his forehead. "Can I have my arm back ?"
"Why me ?" He mumbled. Xiuen sat near by using Olafs left arm as a back scratcher. "Xiuen!" The woman freaked out in startlement, holding Olafs arm as if in self defense. Only it waved at Xemir.
"I didnt do it!" Xiuen said simply
"That's not what I am calling attention to" Xemir said.
"Then what is it ?" Xiuen asked briefly playing pattycake with Olafs arm.
"Give him his arm back. Please" Xemir said. Xiuen gave Xemir a dirty look before gently giving Olaf back his arm. It was not often that Xiuen got to play with a snowman. Seconds later and Olaf spotted a butterfly and took off after it. Their job done, Xemir stepped out of view. Perfect.
Xiuen watched the Snowman wander off after the butterfly. "He's cute"
"He's a Snowman. He's not even human, and somehow he lives." Xemir was actually kind of creeped out by the idea. But somehow it also made a lot of sense too. "Come on, our job is done, lets go back to Xercine and we can get something for you to eat. Preferably with me not needing to watch you play with it first."
"Whats that supposed to mean ?" Xiuen gave Xemir a confused look. As dirty as confused could get actually now that she thought about it. Shje was hungry. "Oh you're just jealous because you're not like me"
"What's that supposed to mean ?" Xemir asked. Was Xiuen trying to insult him, or was she trying to do something else along the same line of an insult only much more... offendingly funny ? How could he be like her ?
"You know, before becoming a part of the Council, you're not like me" Xiuen had been a bit vocal about her past before becoming a member of the Council, a former council member in a city called Napoli in another place of the Mortal Realm. The woman was a Tigris, a skilled creature and her main job at the time was bodyguard and also that "Last critical vote who sat on the fence until the last second" not that it was a bad thing of how she did her life.
But nobody had asked Xemir of his past life. He had been a band member for a Norwegian band. Nothing too wild either, really just a local group who made music for a local church or two when needed. The money was steady so the income was fine, but he wasnt anything high level. So when Xiuen mentioned what he was before becoming a Star Council member, he had to really think on how to answer that question safely.
"That... that is a good question" He finally said. At Xiuens look, he sighed. "Nobody ever asked me what I did before becoming part of the council. I know I was before you." It was true, he was number eleven, Xiuen was number twelve. Which meant that Xemir outranked her, by one.
"Oh sure rub it in" Xiuen grumbled, at least she didnt get her name changed like Xemir did. Or Xinxin or any of the others did. "At least they didnt change my name" She said simply.
"Oh great now you're gonna rub that in ?" Xemir actually didnt care if his name had been changed or not, truth was he was planning to change it somehow. But Xeirn beat him to it when he took him onto the Council.
"So, what did you do before joining the council ?" Xiuen asked
"Its a long story, but to keep it short, I was part of a band. We werent like other world popular bands, far from it, mostly just local churchs and such. Nothing heavy venue" Xemir admitted, truth be told he didnt miss his old band days, he was glad they were over. He had been replaced, twice. The first time against his knowing it, and the second time when Xeirn chose him to join the Council.
"You made music ?" Xiuen asked, Xemir nodded
"And sung it, though in some areas I really just played it." Xemir still played sitar when he had the chance. But lately that chance was rare. "Nevermind all that though, we have work to do, lets go find Xercine, he might have some tasks for us before his announcement tomorrow." With that both of them disappeared from the alley they were hidden in and headed somewhere else.
Arendelle
Palace District
That Same Moment
"Welcome, I trust the guards treated you kindly ?" Kiyori said upon seeing Waterlight enter. She still had her cloak\ covering her face in shadow. "Is something the matter of why yuour face is covered ?" He asked her
"I tried to remove it but the guards requested I keep it up. I do not blame them, after all one of them could not hold his lunch." Waterlight then explained her scar and loss of her eye to Kiyori.
"Fair enough then, come. Let me give you the grand tour and we can settle for a meal. Manfredd, see to it we are not disturbed." Kiyori said, the last few words directed to the big brute of a mancat near the door.
"Yes sir" Manny then took his leave, it was his job to protect his boss, and if Kiyori wanted time alone, Manny normally stood outside the door.
And since they were then now alone, Kiyori bid for Waterlight to remove her hood, when she did so he was able to take in her scars and lost eye carefully. "A battle wound to be sure. Loss of an eye might be an issue to many others, the scars however do little to make me ill at ease. You need not worry of keeping your hood up when with me" he told her.
"Thank you" She had already noted, with her hood up, where guards were posted, and how many guards there were to begin with. Kiyori had an army it seemed but Waterlight was more concerned with a few other things. Kiyori she knew, also held the current leader of Arendelle as basically a prisoner within the Castle District.
But Xercine could get places without Kiyori knowing it. And it made the Priest nervous. Waterlight gave it a good week to get the info together, if that. Kiyori took her to the dining hall, food had been set up. But Waterlight took little of it. Instead she was focused more on a few other things. Without her hood covering her face in shadow, she couldnt take note of where the guards were stationed. Other then mentally counting every ten feet were a pair of guards, and they appeared to change shifts every two hours.
Sadly, at a soldier every ten feet in the halls, it was not going to be easy for Xeir to infiltrate the palace on its own. Not that it fully mattered at that moment. Over time Xeir could infiltrate, learn, adapt. Xeir was good at adapting to new situations. Just like Kalda. It was a good pair, Xeir and Kalda were meant for each other, call it fate, call it destiny, call it whatever one wanted to call it. The two were meant for the other.
One soul, two bodies. It was that simple.
But there were some issues that Waterlight worried of. Namely, Xeirs combat strength in regards to recent events, such as her arm injury. Which was now covered in silver scales. Giving away her Draconic nature.
Smooth move. Waterlight knew Xeir had a reason for showing off. Like many Men, who showed off their tattoos in some manner, Xeir showed off her scales like a badge of honor of some form. So Waterlight gave it no further thought. Her mind then went to Kiyori, the High Priest acted as if he ran the castle, he didnt, he just acted like it. And Waterlight knew he was really just second only to someone else. Kiyori however acted as if that someone else was soon to be ousted entirely and he could run the kingdom as he saw fit.
But that was soon to change, and Waterlight had the vibe from the structure that it was a ready to light powder keg. Set and ready to explode upon the touch of a button, or a drop of sweat. Or landing upon the water like a leaf.
"Even with your scars you are still rather beautiful." Kiyori mused aloud, earning a sharp look from Waterlight. He raised a calming hand as she was about to speak. "I mean no offense in any manner. Scars or no scars, you show wisdom and skill to survive such a strike."
Waterlight had to smile at Kiyoris words, a Man able to charm another ? "So it may seem" She said in reply, Kiyori simply smiled in return to her words. Waterlight wore the same gown he had first seen her in, a dark purple almost lizardlike in pattern as if a mosaic of scales of a polished purple. Little did he know that Waterlights dress was also her scales from her true form.
But he was not worry about that, no, they had a meal to eat. But he also had plans to work on as well. He knew Manfredd was outside the door, unless he was actually doing his job for once. Turning to Waterlight he said simply then "Tell me about yourself madam, surely you are not just a visitor to the Kingdom"
"Hardly. I have been here many times before" Well before you were born as well asshole Waterlight replied with a quiet thought. The two of them spoke well into the evening and as darkness loomed and got deeper, Waterlight finally managed to free herself of Kiyori's gaze and endless questions.
But as she left, Kiyori stood by the parapet. A guard nearby. "Have a plainclothed soldier watch her movements, find out where she stays." He said, the guard nodded and disapeared. He had plans to make. And he felt nervous about something. There was something about Waterlight that made him want to know more about her. Her knowledge of the kingdom, and even though it never came out, the Star Formation he kept hidden away.
That was his true power. The Star Formation was everything he wanted, but it was broken, it was fading out on one of the Stars in the formation. And his concern was well merited, because he had to find six Shards of a star to repair it. And his men reported two weeks before abouyt the earthquake in the Dust District. Which meant he was getting close, but someone got to the Shard before he did.
And according to his men, it was a woman. And if he was lucky, Waterlight could lead him directly to that woman.
A shadow formed behind him. "You wanted to see me ?" The woman asked, Sutri was calm, her voice seductive in tone like always.
"Yes, someone as resourceful as you to come to me in shadows" Kiyori was scared of Sutri and what she and her siblings could do. But he never showed his fear, nobody but himself knew of the fear he had for the Shadowblacks.
"You found a Shard ?" Sutri asked
"Close, the remains of where one was kept." Kiyori replied.
"ShadowMist would learn of such a thing. Where was it kept ?" Sutri gave the Man a hard look, shadows danced upon her body as a form appeared nearby, it was her sister, Taris.
"In the Dust District there was a church, an old structure, find that, or rather, its remains, and begin your search from there. My men are at the remains of the church now. They will not be hard to find." Kiyori said.
"I know the place. According to witness account, the earthquake happened after the foreman of your men was slain by a woman in white and green. Is this correct ?" Sutri said as Taris handed her a clipboard, it held information concerning the events on it, a report if you will.
"It is, good luck." Kiyori said, Sutri smirked, it was time to go to work.
Arendelle
Dust District Ruins
Church Ruins
A few moments later
"Remind me again what we're looking for" The worker grumbled unhappily. It was nearly time for going home to sleep, but they were given the orders to continue digging. "We aint gonna find nothing, and you know it"
"Yes I know and you know, but the Boss insisted so I'd rather do the work instead of getting my arms ripped off." Said the other worker. Both men were with a squad of workmen searching the ruins of the chruch and surrounding buildings for what caused the earthquake two weeks before
"We've been through this shit for two weeks and found nothing!" Said a third, the first man was about to retort when a shout went up as an opening was dug out. The workmen crowded around as a tunnel was revealed.
"Well, looks like we found something." The first man spoke up.
"So much for finding nothing." The second man said, they knew that if they found anything they'd have to dig in for the long haul, and this pointed out a long haul for sure.
Sutri appeared in the darkness atop the hole. "Did you find anything ?" She asked, with her was Taris, both women did not look too happy to be working together, but it was the only means to get some information for the ShadowMist. It wasnt going to be easy though.
Taris for her part was more concerned with ensuring their father was kept aprised of their progress. They were still no closer to freeing their Mother, but they were also no closer to finding out how to get their beloved fathers body back or even where it was kept for that matter.
Oddly however, Sutri had not made a huge blunder of an issue of them working together, she respected, begrudgeingly so, her youngest sister. After all she had found out first where their mother was, and it was Jr who had even hugged Mother. But the twins knew, they could get the weay for her to be freed. Infact if their cards were played into their hands rightly, Sutri was sure either she or Nasty could free their mother.
But if Taris was right, Brutus would accidently stumble upon how to get their mother free all on his own drunken self. And Sutri was hoping to avoid such a thing, even if it meant joining the most hated group in the universe, ShadowMist Sect. A evil group that pretty much worshipped Draco, Sutri and Taris' beloved father.
So naturally they joined up and when the leadership learned that the four siblings of Jr, Sutri, Nasty and Taris were infact Dracos children. They had earned the sects respect, and in many cases many enemies within the swect. But none of them cared and Jr always had fun as he called it, in killing those who attacked him out of spite because he was after all, Dracos son. He shared his fathers own name as well.
Seeing that two of their charges were present, both of them women, the Foreman spoke up. "Seems we found us a tunnel, dunno where it leads, I sent some of the guys to get some lights, cant see anything in this soup." He said as the fog had begun to build.
"We wont need them. From what I understand, structures like these are built with their own light sources" Taris said. She easily hopped into the hole and headed for the tunnel opening. Her shadowvision taking in everything as she looked into it. Then she smiled and turned to her sister. "Coming ? Or are you afraid of the dark ?" it was mostly to get her ego into gear and get into the thick of things.
Sutri was used to having others doing her dirty work, which was one fo the reasons Taris told their father about their mothers location first, she was ignored by everyone else and it let her get information faster and quicker then expected.
But for Taris to goad her like that ? In front of all those Men ?! Sutri grunted something and easily dropped into the hole and walked to her sisters side. Softly in Draconic she hissed to her sister. "Never do that again"
"Do what ?" Taris asked as she stepped into the tunnel without a light and headed into the darkness. Leaving Sutri briefly
Turning to the workmen, Sutri said "Keep working here, clear this area out and widen this entryway, from the look of things the ground here, this flooring of some form is ornate, it should lead somewhere or have a pattern of some form, uncover it entirely. Send noone after us either for that matter." she gave a hard look to the workmen, they knew what she meant. Turning, Sutri ducked inot he tunnel and disappeared from sight.
A dozen steps later and she joined her sister inside the Isu structure, it was self lit as Taris had said. "Does this look familiar to you ?" Sutri asked seeing the structure, its design and light patterns, holographic interfaces of a sort glittered pale colors in the darkness upon the walls, locks it seemed.
"It looks like what Jr said was around and in the cave where he spoke to Mother" Taris said going to the wall and examining the strange golden backlit structure. "There's a hexagonal pattern in the wall, but its not Mortal steel or Duradaeden. I cannot tell what this is." Taris said after knocking and then patting gently the strange golden backlit wall.
"Isu technology at its finest then" Sutri mumbled, she felt a draft, and the shadows danced briefly. "Come on, I think I found a deeper path." The two women then headed deeper in to the tunnel. Moving quietly and carefully as the rocky floor was broken in many places thanks to ancient times and constant movement of the Earth.
They found a set of stairs that were amazingly well kept. And they had a choice, up or down, they of course chose down. Moving quickly they came across the door, it was golden, made of steel and backlit in golden metal like the walls. But the doors were also set inside a stone frame. Taris felt on the surface of the door. Then knocked on it, it made a hollow sound.
The hollow sound made Sutris spirits lift, it was possible they had found what they sought after so long. So much Isu technology they had passed. "Can you open it ?"
"I think so, give me a minute" Taris said, she formed a set of lockpicks out of shadow and got to work. After a minute the lockpick broke and Taris formed a new one. "Damnit, this might take longer then a minute" She said
"Alright, you keep working on it, I'll look around, there might be a room with a key off the hall we came through" There were four doors, two on each side, all of them were closed, but somehow both women knew the door they wanted, Taris was trying to pick the lock of.
"Sounds good to me, if I get this unlocked I'll holler." Taris replied, with a soft smirk the older woman left her sister and went looking, she found all four doors were unlocked and easily swung open upon touch, one of the doors falling off its hinges infact with a crash.
Going through each room, Sutri could see they were filled with shelves, empty of bodies, but stuff was stored there as if nothing was wrong. Just waiting to be used. There were chests, and shelves of goods, ingots of strange metals sat in ordered stacks everywhere. Going through the chests in first one room then another she never found a key.
It was the third room however that told her to look for the key and she would find it in there. Finding the only chest near a bed, what had to be a bed made of the same strange metal infact. She found the key. Turning she went and forwent searching the last room and headed for her teacher.
"Taris, I found it" She held the key, turning it in the lock the door cracked open allowing the two to go deeper into the complex under the kingdom. But the tunnel they had followed went away from the Dust District, under the North Mountain. The door lead to a catwalk of a sort. Designed to overlook something big.
Upon entering the structure Sutri stared at the massive draconic thing that was presumably held by bands of golden energy of light a good five kilometers away. Raw light magic danced upon the imposing figure, keeping it held in place, unable to move or even be freed for that matter.
Taris studied the draconic figure, looking over its face. "Sutri look!" She said, jolting her elder sibling from her thoughts.
"What ?" Sutri asked her in awe of the black dragon before her.
Taris faltered a moment. Then she finally spoke, her voice full of raw respect and quiet. "Its Papas body."
Sutri stared at the massive dragon body before them, they were about eye level with it so far above the cavern. Whereas Taris could see it right off, the body had no soul. "How do you know this is dads body ?" How could it be their father ? She didnt see the resembelence to their father at all. "It does not look like him at all"
"Dad is a Shadowdragon just like us, but this is his body, havent you ever wondered why dad doesnt eat ?" Taris said, it was true, Draco drank the draconic wine that Brutus sent him, or did he ? He did. But their father never actually ate anything. Because as a soul he had no real means to digest food he had eaten.
Sutri stared hard at the face of the massive body below them. She saw a gaping tear in its chest, above the heart, between the lungs. "Taris look. A hole!" Sutri pointed it out. The light danced around the body, holding it inplace unable to move, a body without its soul. Sealed for eternity. Secret. Until then.
"You think whowever made the structure we walked through to get here put father here ?" Taris asked.
"Possibly, but I dont want to find out what that magic is, if that is really dads body, the magic is strong enough to hold it solid unable to move anywhere." Sutri said simply. She was starting to feel weird
"So what do we do, we cant just leave dad without his body. He lost mother as it is." Taris was moire concerned of their father and his love for their mother then anything else.
"We're able to interact and work with Father on a daily basis, you know this. We also know why Dad is the way he is. If this is really his body." Sutri said, something nagged at her heart, that body below them was indeed that of her beloved father, Draco.
"True, so what do we do, this is Dad we're talking about" Taris looked at her sister for once dead on. "We can tell dad we found his body, but there's no way we can get to it without destroying ourselves in the process, just standing here this close to it, that magic makes me feel sick." Taris said, she was right, Sutri could feel much stronger too, the raw powerful magic that sealed their fathers body was making even her feel sick to her stomach, she was close to throwing up as it was.
"Come on" Sutri finally said, "Lets get out of here before we feel any worse." The raw light magic emit very little if any raidation. So the two women were more or less just simply drained of their magical power by time they got too close they could begin to lose their life due to the magics purity. But thankfully they were just within sight of it, so their magic was weaker then it should have been. And it made both of them feel sick.
The two of them fled the chamber as quickly as they could, once outside it, they closed the door behind then and also locked it. Hiding the key in a nearby nook. "What do we tell the men ?" Taris asked
"We'll seal this passage entirely with shadow, they wont find it, just inpenatreble black stone. No door, no nothing, but only we'll know its here. Come on." Sutri said. Taris nodded and the two masde their way back to the workmen who by that point had uncovered the floor pattren entirely. It was also almost morning.

Upon seeing the two women who had disappeared into the darkness the night before the Foreman of the work group sighed a heavy sigh of relief. "Where were you two, we was worried." He said, it was true, the Men worried for the two sisters when they hadnt returned swiftly and the hours dragged on. It meant a lot to them for the two to come back in one piece.
"We found some interesting things, including some structures that are still intact, for now, you did good up here, is this the whole design ?" Sutri asked as she and Taris climbed out of the hole and were able to see the design cleanly.
"For the most part." The Foreman replied, he lead the two through what they had found so far. "I think this structure held something, but what I cant decern until sun comes up." The man said
"That's fine for us, at the end of the tunnel is four rooms at the bottom of a set of long stairs, some stuff is in them, but I didnt see inside the last room. More of that black stone there is on one wall, it just... dead ends with those four rooms" Sutri lied, the man believed her easily.
"I see, for now we're still figuring out what this was" he pointed at the pedistal that once held the Star Shard that Diamond had found. Taris caught scent of the Silver Dragon briefly. "Best we can figure in this light is that it held something, but what we cant be sure."
"Where are we ?" Sutri asked.
"Just below the old sacutary of the church. Whats left of it" The foreman pointed out the nearby pillar foundations. "Those two rows of foundations form the sanctuary support. Best we can figure this structure at one point was a Cathederal. Whatever was down here, we're about fourty maybe fifty feet down from ground level. Whatever this thing was holding or for, it was even below the churchs own basement" The foreman said.
Sutri traded looks with her sister. It was time to go. "We'll leave you to it." Sutri said, giving her sister a look, she too had caught scent of Diamond, but the trail was three weeks old by that point. Once out of earshot of the foreman and his men Sutri spoke softly. "Did you smell it too ?"
"Smell what ?" Taris asked, meaning she did smell it, but there was still a few men nearby.
"Nevermind, I guess its the old ruins. Come on, I'm starving and tired and I feel sick. I'm beat" Sutri said, the two women disappeared into the predawn light.
It was time for the Kingdom to wake up.
Arendelle
Castle District
9 am
It was time to announce who he wanted for his Heirs, Xercine was waiting of course until morning because that way it was just enough time to plan it all out carefully. Enough time just needed to be done to make it work properly. If too soon, it would fail from the start, but if done too late, it would be too late to begin.
So the timing, just after breakfast, was perfect.
Xercine stood upon the prapet of the castles outer wall. "I had figured you were in the council chamber for this mornings session" Kiyori said upon arrival. Xercine stood looking out over, not the kingdom, but the water.
"I needed some fresh air" Xercine said in reply. "I take it you did as well ?"
"Yes, the council chambers can get awefully stuffy at times." Kiyori replied with a deep breath before letting it out. "Quite honestly the days are nice recently, why we have not had any of the sessions out doors in the sunlight I will never know." he said. He knew the truth of course. It was simple. He did not want others to see how he had control of the Council as a whole.
"I do wonder." Xercine said simply.
"So, what is your plan for this session. Suring calling for a public session is a rare thing, but it must be important enough to call upon the heads of every District in the Kingdom to be present for the session." Kiyori was curious, what had gotten under Councilor Xercines skin to call for a public session ?
"I am going to name a possible Heir out of three canidates. Have your men found the three I seek ?" Xercine did not have to ask, as the Council had already spoken to the three women and told them where to go, but Sapphire was still in jail
"A possible Heir ?" Kiyori asked. This was unexpected for sure. "Any reason why ?"
"You know as well as I do, this council is a sham, someone, not you, not me, someone, is pulling the strings. Someone is driving this council in a direction neither of us want." Xercine said giving Kiyori a look. "I for one, want out. The three I am going to name as possible Heirs will be chosen by concensus of the Kingdom, when she is chosen I will step down as head of the council." Xercine was lying, his goal was to agitate, and worry, Kiyori, giving the High Priest a seeming lost edge in the goal of controlling the world. "The last thing we need is someone taking us for face value, and then throwing us aside like toys."
"So whats your plan ?" Kiyori asked, playing right into Xercines ploy. "If you name an heir, in this case, three of them, what will happen to the rest of the council when the Heir chosen is put in charge ?"
"That will be up to the Heir in question. The people chose over time. They will get to know the three I choose publicly to pick one from. Whoeever wins. I step down" in truth, Xercine was not stepping down until Anna said so.
"I see" Kiyori said, but he did not see. He had no idea that Xercine was stringing him along. "I will see you at the session." With that Kiyori left Xercine and got busy, he had a backup plan. He needed to know the three Heirs that Xercine had picked out for the kingdom to choose from.
Xercine watched him go. Kiyori neversaw the Darkness Corridor open and deposit a silver haired man. "So, how did it go ?" Xendras asked as he leaned against the wall.
"I think he took it as exepcted. Let the others know they can begin their tasks as planned, as soon as this session of the council is over. But remebmer, Kiyori is to believe that I am stepping down as the Heir is chosen by the kingdom.
"Arent you making it a little too obviuius ?" Xendras asked
"Not at all" Xercine replied, "Kiyori thinks that when the Heir is chosen from Sapphire, Anna or Waterlight, I will step down, but you know as well as I, Anna will want me to stay on."
"So thats your plan ? Fake it ?" Xendras asked
"For the most part, yes" Xercine replied
"A good a plan as any. Have you told the others ?" Xendras asked
"No, just Kiyori. No doubt he is on edge even now for whom I will pick for the kingdom to choose from." Xercine had to hand it to Kiyori, the man was a planner. But he was also incredibly dangerous as well. Xercine as well as the other members of the Star Council were well aware of what Kiyori could truly do, his models. "has Xexen gottem himself a model yet ?"
"Almost, Luxord is working on that angle, he's going to try and get the guards that patrol a few of them to get into a card game tonight to keep them minamally guarded or patrolled" Xendras replied. He started drawing weird designs upon the sand atop the paraphet of the castle wall.
"Good, soon as Xexen has those models to examine carefully, we can truly get to work as Xeirn hopes. Any news from him infact ?" Xercine said, Xeirn had gone to try and find anything of the whereabouts of Light after sending Xendras to do the same thing in the Mythic Realm. Waterlight of course was his only lead.
"Nothing yet." Xendras replied, bored sounding as he spoke. "For all we know the Leader found out stuff and wants to keep it secret from even us to begin with." It was mostly true, the fact that Xeirn himself was looking into where Light was completely on his own without outside help whatsoever made even Xendras nervous for his bosses safety.
But he need not worry. Xeirn was a capable man, strong and even a better fighter then most Dragons were. But Xeirn was only looking for information, not for a fight. Xendras simply hoped the Dragons that guarded Lights Court knew that much to begin with when he planned to pay a visit.
"I best be off for the Session of the council then, they will want me to speak of the possible Heirs. Good luck to you, boss." Xendras was Xercines boss after all, Xendras was second only to Xeirn himself.
"Good luck" Xendras waved off Xercine, he didnt have to worry, Xercine was one of the few people Xendras trusted enough to get a job done, and done in a certain manner for that matter. Seconds later, Xendras himself disappeared as if he never was there.
He wasnt.
The council chamber was a mess. Council members were calling for order while others were calling out seat assignments. In all, everything was going to be interesting as Xercine entered, Kiyori had it seemed stirred the crowd into calling out questions as Xercine entered and took his seat. The massive room was mostly full of members from across the kingdom, all seventy one District Lords as they were termed, were present in their seats. The Council itself, in the inner ring.
It was time to get down to brass tacks and get right to the point. All eyes were on Xercine as he took his seat and looked over the agenda. "This council is now in Session for today. The Agenda is simple for once." He began. People looked at him as he spoke. It was odd, only one item was on the agenda. "I wish to choose a possible Heir to run this council, and the Kingdom as Queen of Arendelle. I have three possible canidates for the District Lords to show to their districts and get the publics vote on who should be chosen." He said.
Voices began to rise, it was confusing to say in the least. "Impossible! Naming an heir when the Queen is gone ?" By that point the question had to be asked.
"Is there a problem ?" Xercine asked simply, the question posed was a good one.
"Yes, there is a problem. You cannot name an heir, let alone three, in the abcense of the Queen or the Princess." Said a councilman.
"We all know the Queen is gone, she left me in her stead to rule as I saw fit. And I see it fit to announce the naming of an Heir, you have three canidates. All of them women, who will be voted in as Queen and I will step down. No questions asked. All I need you to do is ensure the People see the possible Heir and then let them choose their new leader." Xercine said, his steely gaze locked onto a few members of the councilk, those few he still had sway over.
Kiyori was not amused, and had begun going on the defense right from the start. "Why now ?" He asked
"Because I felt like it, what else reason is there ?" Xercine was upset with Kiyori and it was clear, Xercine's plan was to set Kiyori on uneven footing. Not a good solid plan but a plan that worked. Kiyori was already a ready to light powder keg to begin with. Xercine just needed to give the man a slight shove to get things going.
"There must be a reason other then throwing caution to the wind" Said another member of the Council. "Surely you jest"
"I do not, your canidates for a new Queen are before you, gentlemen. You are to see to it that the District Lords each receive a copy of the details before you." Xercine stood. "You do not have much time. Each of these women must be shown, their faces to each district. The people will choose their new leader."
The council members began to talk among themselves as Xercine watched. Kiyori was upset, visibly so, and Xerfcine knew it. The man was a controller type, a dominating man. And yet, Xercine was not about to be intimidated by an asshole he did not like. Kiyori controlled the council, a puppet government, and the people needed to picka new leader, someone who could force Kiyori back, or destroy him.
Somehow, Xercine knew the outcome. The three images of the women he had chosen were laid upon the table, and also copies given t othe District Lords, several of each image was given to each District Lord along with the instructions to spread the word of the coming election, but not to intimidate anyone. Just simply ask their opinion on the matter.
Xercines plan was to get the kingdom to rise up against Kiyori. But he had no idea that Waterlight, Anna, and Sapphire were working somehow, with Xeir. Within moments the council was adjurned and Xercine disappeared.

"It is begun" Xercine reported as he arrived in the Round Chamber.
"Good, then we can begin. Xemir, Xiuen, I want the two of you to aid Xiaoden in training Mark Wolfe for the coming fight. Without access to his natural abilities granted him by his Draconic soul, he will have to learn to rely on others." Xern replied from where he sat upon his chair.
"If he will take their teaching" Xexen mused upon his own arrival.
"He will have to learn how to take the teaching of others into his brain if he likes it or not. He must get used to not relying strictly upon himself in this venture." Xeirn said simply
"And my task is underway, I have managed with help of Luxord and Xinxin to lure away a few guard patrols and snatch a few of the strange models for examining. As I see fit" Xexen reported
"Good, we can find out more of this High Priest." Xeirn replied
"Have you found anything concerning the All-Mother ?" Came the question, from, of all people, Xemir
"I have, it seems that she had gone missing a year ago, presumably on sabatical, similar to how Elsa had done. When the Nothing faded from the Mortal Realms mind and hearts, it was the same time that she too had disappeared." Xeirn said.
"The woman. DiT, is also a concern, do any of us know her true motives ?" Xemir said
"Only that we work with her, to a point" Xeirn said, he knew the rules laid out in the deal struck with the strange robed woman. Her face covered in bandages leaving only her right eye visible. Nobody knew what the woman really looked like under the bandages.
When there came no further questions. Xeirn smiled. "It is settled. We have work to do." Xeirn said before disappearing in a Darkness Corridor.
One by one those who arrived in the Round Room disappeared.

"Coming here was reckless, you know this" Said DiT as a woman spoke to her. DiT stood upon the road looking over a cow grazing area. Seemingly bored, but clearly upset as to why the other woman was present.
"I was instructed to find news of the All-Mother, you know what happened to her or where she is. I was sent here to Earth, my sisters were sent to other planets. But there is something troubling as well. Some of us were also sent to other planets to try and find The First Son. And so far, we are not having any luck." The black dressed woman said in reply. Turning to her DiT took in Sazhori
"And so you come to me. An unassuming woman who much rather remain unfound. Why ?" DiT said to her
"I just told you ?" Normally Sazhori wouldnt talk to others, especially since DiT felt like someone she could trust."Look, I just need to know where the All-Mother went, if you know where I can start looking, I will go there" It was true, Sazhori just needed to know where to start looking.
"The All-Mother" DiT said simply. Leaning on the fence as she spoke, her voice distant and yet thoughtful.
"Do you know where she is ? Or where she planned to go ?" Meeting briefly with Xeirn had made Sazhori begin to search further on Earth and everything lead her back to Arendelle.
"Have you tried the city of Oslo ?" DiT didnt want to lead Sazhori astray, she had some info. Seeing the Raven nod Dit smiled behind her mask. "And that information lead you back here ?" Again Sazhori nodded. DiT stopped smiling.
"Everything seems to revolve around Arendelle." DiT said simply. She produced a small item, it was a book. "Take this" It was a journal. She held it to Sazhori to take "The All-Mother entrusted it to me to give to someone when the time was right, I held onto it for a year. But I could not make sense of it. Perhaps you will" In truth it was Lights journal of events of the past year, each page was a day of musings and thoughts.
Sazhori took the book. "This will help me how ?" She asked, looking at its cover
"It will help you find the All-Mother. And later rather then sooner." DiT replied, her tone telling Sazhori the conversation was over. At least the public view conversation, they were drawing unwanted eyes in their direction. With a stiff nod of farewell, Sazhori left.
DiT sighed, her farmhouse had been searched. She was nearly found by Sazhori, who, even though sometimes a pest, was well worth the title, Sazhori lead Lights own spies after being given her Blessing so long ago.
Light hated faking it. But she had to do this. DiT had to do it, for Xeir, for Diamond, for the Mortal Realm. DiT felt something was off and once she was sure Sazhori was gone, she disappeared into a portal of light and went somewhere else.
Beneath Arendelle's North Moutain a golden portal swriled into exsistance and a woman clothed in gold and white robes stepped from it. Light looked at the monolith before her. The cavern had sealed the body with her magic
She saw that Dracos body still stood, soulless. Trapped forever. Her pure Light magic held the body stiff as a statue for so long. Examining it carefully she laid another layer of the magic upon itself to continue to bind the body.
The cavern was a good six kilometers at its widest point, and nearly a dozen kilometers long and nearly three kilometers from floor to ceiling, a walkway far above the platform she stood upon was level with the massive body's head. A good two kilometers into the air. But still at least two kilometers away from the body itself. Close enouygh to see it, but far enough to not cause damage to the spells holding it so stiff and carefully. Light did not want Draco loosed upon the Mortal Realm again. He had ravaged most if not all of Earth those millon years ago had Light not superimposed the battlefield into the Mythic Realm and off Earth.
Sealing Dracos body was an ordeal to be sure, but it was well worth it in the long run.
Light examined then the seals, they still held solid. Going platform by platform, Light examined each seal, feeling her magic dancing upon her fingertips, reacting to her precense.
Dracos massive body was untouched. Left alone.
And yet she found scant semblences of others present within that cavern. The top most platform had footprints of Shadow still hidden from her pure magic. And yet she had no idea who was present. With a flick of her wrist, the light magic danced on her fingertips and burned the darkness away.
Her task done she disappeared in a golden portal of light once more.

2 PM
"I dont like it" Nara said seeing the poster being put up, there were three of them, the first one of the three was already up, and the second in the process of being placed. "Voting for a Queen, you look good" He said to Waterlight, who smirked.
"Apparently the current head of the council likes me" She said
"He also chose Anna, the Nothing's sister, and also Sapphire Wolfe the cousin, by blood, of Mark Wolfe." Xeir mused. She too wasnt very happy this was beginning, but it had to happen. The three then turned and left the area, heading for a place to eat. Once they found a place and sat down at table, a waiter came over and gave them some menus. A moment passed and they ordered, the waiter left. "Were you able to find anything last night within the palace during your visit ?" Xeir asked to Waterlight
"Yes, soldiers are placed every ten feet, facing weach other in every main hallway, I was unable to see the private halls so I do not know if soldiers patrol them if at all." Waterlight said in reply. "Kiyori also has a bodyguard, big brute of a mancat as well just by look of him." Waterlight then reported what Manfredd looked like.
"So he's got a big cat guarding his ass" Nara mumbled, "Great" Just what they needed.
"Apparently based on what I saw, the mancat follows orders, he wont question them, but he will follow them, and also think for himself, he is also quite the gentleman as well when the need comes for it." Waterlight had already detailed how Manny had reacted to her when they first met.
"So what now ?" Nara asked looking to Xeir
Xeir tapped her chin thoughtfully with her scalled finger. "The High Priest does not expect you to be so carefully observant does he ?" She asked, Waterlight simply smiled. "Did he tell you of the models ?"
"He did not" Waterlight admitted. A group of men came into the tavern and sat down to order their meal.
Hans was thoughtful on the matter. Calm and quiet. The two men with him, Tazan and Hans own brother, Franz were on edge, Hans however was calm, carefully planning his next move. He paid no heed to how Taztan was nervous around the nearby table with three people seated at it.
"Will you calm down man ? You're acting like you got a scorpion in your shirt" Franz said to Taztan.
"I cant help it" Taztan replied softly, he jerked his head towards the nearby table where Xeir, Nara and Waterlight sat. "That woman, with the scales on her hand, shes the one who beat down the High Priests men two weeks ago in the street brawl" He said softly Hans threw Xeir, who had her back to him, a look, that woman felt oddly familiar.
"You're sure ?" Hans asked just as quietly
"Very much so, no mistaking that hair color or build" Taztan detailed then what Xeir looked like during the fight. Minus the scales of course. Hans could not see any sign of a weapon of any kind.
"Think, are you absolutely sure that woman is the one ?" Taztan nodded at the question. Hans then smirked. So they had the woman who caused the mess in the Galasia district. "What is this ?" He asked as Masor arrived, carrying three posters in his hands
"Good news and bad news" he said, he paid no attention to the table of three nearby as the people finished their meal and soon left. He said the posters on the table. "You're gonna want to look at this" He told Hans.
Hans opened the posters and nearly spat out his drink. "Impossible" He hissed.
"Like I said, you're gonna want to look at this. These posters are all over the district, all over the kingdom actually. What they want is for the people to see them and pick one, the woman with the most votes as it were, becomes the Heir to the Throne. The current leader of the Arendelle Council, a guy named Xercine, wants to name a Heir to the throne, but he wants the kingdom to have a say in it first." Masor said
"He wants the monarchy to be democratic in some manner" Hans mused as he read the three posters, they were all the same, and yet the showed three different women, and he only recognised one of them. "This is Princess Anna" He said as he tapped the middle poster. "I recognise the face right off." He then pointed to the other two posters, "But who are these two women ? I've never seen either of them before."
"One of them was at the other table, unless it was just a similar dress" Masor said, Franz smirked. Hans gave Masor a dirty look.
"What I mean is I never spoke to either of the other two women, only Anna, danced with her too. "hans faltyered, a chuckle in his throat "Danced with her, and even asked her to marry me" Hans smirked
"I bet Sonya was happy about that" Franz said, earning a glare from Hans.
"Sonya and I made the ploy, it nearly worked had Elsa not done what she had." Hans grumbled. Hans was so very close to taking over Arendelle in the past, he was still close to doing so with the food control still in his favor. However there were still issues. One of which he was about to bring up.
"About our food issue." He gave Masor a look. The Shadowling smirked. "Care to tell me why our food control has begun to falter ?"
"That I cannot, but I know someone who can" Masor replied calmly.
"Pray tell then who that is" Hans told him.
"There is a young lady by name of Fuiu not far from here. We corner her, grill her, and then go our merry way" Masor said, not saying that Fuiu really was a Spider Demon. He never saw the woman dressed in black and brown leather take a seat at the nearby table in a corner.
Hans had a different idea. "Sit your ass down" he said to Masor, the Shadowling had been standing at the table, he took a seat. "The last thing I need is to have bad news, so give it to me straight, what the hell is going on ? Our zone of control is smaller then it used to be here. I was nearly in charge of this kingdom!"
It was clear that Hans was upset by the way things were going. Insofar as to get up close to Kiyori and learn more about the man. "The models are not what we feared them to be, they're harmless. Their reputation is nothing more then a made up story, none of it true"
"And how do you know that ?" Franz asked
"Kiyori himself told me, they are nothing more then a rumor that is fake, a story made to make it seem they were evil things, the people of Arendelle are easy to cower into fearing things that they do not understand, take for instance, Elsa and the great snow in the middle of summer. Freezing Arendelle solid. The people then were scared of her. For all we know they still are." Hans said the three with him at table traded looks.
"So we need to find these three women somehow" Taztan said
"No, we find Princess Anna, capture her only, do it however you must. Capture and detain, but do not harm." Hans said, giving a pointed look to the two Shadowlings as Franz looked on. There were things he had to do to Anna, and having Anna in a unharmed state could infact help matters greatly.
"Whats your plan ?" Franz asked
"Anna thinks I am the enemy, but if I can have her captured unharmed in any manner whatsoever, I can fake being beaten and captured at the same location. Anna will think whoever captured her used me to get to her, and thus I can gain her confidence that way"
"Hans, that wont work and you know it, you tried to have Anna die by Elsas own magic, remember ?" Franz said, Hans kinew his brother was right.
"You got a better idea ?" Hans asked him
"Matter of fact, I do" Franz smiled. It made Hans slightly nervous, but he listened as his brother detailed a new plan. "Princess Anna never met me, she has met you and two of the others. One of our brothers are dead by Elsas hands over ten years ago, burnt and frozen solid, so we have to hope that Anna does not recognise me as your brother but as someone else. I can gain her confidence, and take care of things from there." Franz had a pretty solid plan.
"Fine, it sounds like a fools errand, but I will let you handle her from here." Hans told his brother, Franz smiled, their food arrived and the four men dug in.

A portal of golden light opened. "I was starting to wonder if you had forgotten me" Said a sultry yet clearly upset voice.
"Far from it" Came the calm cultured voice of Light as she gazed upon the woman before her. Kethend did not look happy to see the person responsible for imprisoning her in the strange place.
At least she got to see her son. Jr. though she hoped to see Taris. Jr however mananged to break the barrier, ever so briefly before being torn away from her, she still remembered him struggling to stay with her, to pull her with him from that place.
"What do you want ?" Kethend gave Light a very dirty look.
Light smiled at Kethend, almost sweetly, and it made Kethend nervous. A flick of the wrist, and Kethend found herself thrown to the floor, then flipped onto her knees with her head against the floor, her legs cracked painfully yet Light paid the sounds no heed. "Information." Light said to her.
"Like I could tell you anything" Kethend hissed through the pain. The ancient Shadowblack snarled something, shadows begging to work on healing the pain in her legs, mighitated only by Lights raw purity holding back the shadows.
"You can, because only you can produce the offspring required to produce this" Light formed out of magic, her found intruders footprints. Showing them to Kethend who infact recognised them as belonging to her daughters. "Recognise these footprints ?" She asked Kethend did not respond right away. But Light only smiled. "I will tell you what, you give me what I want to know, and this will be as painless as possible" Light told her, a deal was possible after all, Light was not sadistic, but sometimes, she had to be ready to get her hands dirty.
Kethend gave her a dirty look. "Let me get this right, you let up on the magic, I tell you what you want to know ?"
"That's right" Light replied
Kethend hated such a deal, but if it meant less pain, and she wanted to get closer to her children. The Shadow Queen sighed. "Alright, Deal" She said simply.
She hoped she was not making a mistake.
