"You all right?" Dry Bowser asked after helping Espio up.
"Do I look like I'm all right?" Espio responded to Dry Bowser as he took a breath. "I'm thankful you got here as fast as you did. Those robots... I know I've dealt with them a lot, but for some reason they seemed stronger this time."
Petey Piranha mumbled while moving his green leaves about, pulling his red pouch to get a pair of binoculars as he threw it at Dry Bowser, who used it to look around the theme park further to see various Smashers who appeared to lack their vivid colors popping out of assist trophy cases, making the skeletal reptile squint his eyes.
"Hmm... that definitely seems strange. Why would they have them in this place?" Dry Bowser spoke as he chucked the binoculars back to Petey. "We'll have to be swift and quick. You think you could-"
Being that he was a ninja, Espio already took off towards where the dull appearing copies of Super Smash Bros were appearing, with the chameleon using his nature to blend in with the amusement park to hide himself. Dry Bowser and Petey took a different path to meet up with Espio later, with the mutant piranha plant flapping his leaves like wings and took off to the sky while Dry Bowser got into his pouch. Notably a horde of flying Pits came their way firing arrows, with Dry Bowser firing red flames and Petey barfing brown goop to douse them as they eventually got close enough to not be detected, whereas Espio did platforming on the Casino Park's rotating dice and chucked his ninja stars at a burly group of Snake clones to take them out, sneaking around to see where he should go next.
