New Bond

Karan and Nandini were having breakfast. Purvi came out and picked a sandwich.

"Bye mumma papa..I am leaving." She said while leaving.

"Itni subah subah kahan chal di?" Nandini asked.

"Rajat ke paas mumma.Woh kisi ki nahi sunte toh mujhe hi unka khyaal rakhna hoga. Aaj bhi office ja rahe the main na bolti toh chale jate." She said and left without waiting for any answer..

Nandini sighed..

Purvi got inside her car and ignited the engine. She sighed as she found Kavin sitting besides her.

"Ab tum mere sath kyun chal rahe ho?" She asked.

"Tumhara bharosa nahi hai mujhe. Kya pata kab kya bol doh." Kavin said teasingly..

"Hawww! Main kuch nahi bolne wali aisa. I'm not a kid." She said irritatedly.

"Haan tabhi us bechare ko meri baatein suna suna ke bore karti hai."Kavin said.

"Kavin tum zyada bol rahe ho." She glared at him..

Kavin smiled sheepishly. Purvi made faces…She was driving whereas Kavin was humming a song.

Suddenly He shouted…"Stop."

She applied brakes instantly.." What happened?" She asked.

"Rajat ke liye bouquet le ke aao. Use acha lagega." Kavin said..

"Iski koi zaroorat nahi hai." Purvi said..

"Zaroorat hai." He said stubbornly.

"Nahi hai." She too was stubborn at her place.

"Tum abhi ke abhi flowers la rahi ho Rajat ke liye." He said.

"No.." She replied.

"Agar tum flowers lene nahi gayi toh main chalti car se jump kar dunga." He shouted.

Purvi gave him a look.." Sudhroge nahi na.Insaan nahi ho tum ab.Jump karne se chot.nahi ayegi tumhe." She said..

"Marr chukka hoon pata hai, par har baar ehsaas dilana zaruri hai.." Kavin yelled over her.

"I'm sorry.. Main flowers laati hoon." She said and got down from thecar .

"Red roses." He said loudly..Purvi sighed.

"Drama karne ki aadat gayi nahi iski." She muttered. Kavin smiled.

She bought bouquet and drove to Rajat' s home..

Rajat was getting ready for office and murmuring in irritation.

"Aayi badi laad governor, Jake dikhao..Jaa raha hoon main..Usko kya pata mere kaam ka.." He said while setting his tie.

"Mom mera juice..I'm getting late." He shouted from his room..

"Kahan ja raha hai tu?" Gautami asked while entering his room.

"Office! Pata hai aaj kitni important meeting hai. You don't know." He said.

"Purvi ko pata chala toh woh gussa karegi." Gautami said.

"Karne doh gussa. Main darta nahi hoon kisi Purvi se. Aayi badi mujhe order dene wali." He said while making faces.

"Aadat daal lo beta. Ab life long woh tujhe order dene wali hai." Gautami patted his cheek.

"main kisi ke orders nahi lunga. Samjhi aap!!" He said while moving to another corner.

"Beta Purvi ko teri fikar hai aur tu nahi jaa raha bas." Gautami said.

"Fikar hai usey….. Agar fikar hoti toh ghar kyun jati.." He thought.

"Mom main jaa raha hoon bas." Rajat said while picking his coat..

"Kahin jaa rahe hai aap?" Purvi asked while entering...She gave him a tough glare.

Rajat sighed deeply." Bas doctor se milne jaa raha tha." He said.

Gautami suppressed her laughter seeing his expressions..

"Aunty doctor ko call kar ke ghar bula lijiye.Yeh nahi ja rahe hai kahin bhi." Purvi said while taking coat from his hands.She kept coat on her arm and extended her hands towards his neck.

He moved back..She glared at him

"Itni si baat pe gala dabaogi??" He asked fearfully.

She shook her head with disappointment. " Pagal ho gaye hai kya aap? " She said and removed his tie.

"Chaliye rest kijiye." She said while crossing her arms around chest.

He quietly sat on bed.She checked his medicine and glared at him again.

"Medicine skip kyun ki? " She asked.

"Bhool gaya." He smiled sheepishly.

"lijiye khaiye." She gave him medicine. He gulped the medicine while making faces and Purvi smiled at his antics.

Purvi sat beside him and switched to Television..Kavin was looking at Purvi and tried to hide his laughter but he failed badly.

He started to laugh. She gave him a questioning look.

"Purvi tune bechare ko kitna dra ke rakha hua hai. Bechara seham gaya tere prakop se. Itna bhi mat dara ki shadi se mana kar de." Kavin said while controlling his laughter.

"Dimag kharab ho gaya hai tumhara!!" She said angrily.

Rajat looked at her with confused glance.. "mujhse kuch kaha?" He asked.

Purvi gave a fiery look to Kavin.

"De jwab." Kavin winked at her.

"Haan jee haan, Yeh movie mein hero ka dimag kharab ho gaya hai.Achi ladki chhod ke galat ladki ke piche pada hai." She tried to cover up. Kavin laughed once again.

Rajat seemed confused as they were watching sport channel.

"Kaunsi movie Purvi?" Rajat asked.

"Woh main ghar se dekh ke aayi hoon." She sighed deeply. Rajat seemed satisfied.Kavin was enjoying her expressions. Purvi was glaring at him.

After that a silence prevailed between them.Kavin smacked his head and called for Purvi.

"Kyu bore ho rahe ho? Baat kar Rajat se." Kavin said.

"Kya?" Purvi said loudly. Kavin shoot her a fiery glance.

"Kya hua Purvi?" Rajat asked her.

" Kya shot mara hai na Yuvraj ne." She said while looking at TV.

Rajat sensed something fishy now.

"Purvi woh Yuvraj nahi Dhoni hai." Kavin said.Purvi shook her head in disappointment.

"Purvi are you fine? Matlab koi tension hai kya?" Rajat asked.

"Nahi Rajat. Actually." She stopped due to lack of words.

"Haan bolo." He said.

"Bol Purvi Bol." Kavin said.

"Ek toh yeh mujhe bahut confuse kar raha hai." Purvi said signalling Kavin. Kavin glared at her.

Rajat looked at her back." Kaun? wahan toh koi nahi hai!" He said

"Ye TV Rajat as mujhe sports mein zyada interest nahi hai." She said.

"Toh pehle bolna tha na. Main kuch aur laga deta hoon." Rajat smiled. Kavin was signalling her something.

"Rajat mujhe kuch apne bare mein batayiye na." Purvi asked with a smile.

Rajat smiled as she took initiative for the first time.." Maine architecture kiya hai aur ab usi field mein laga hoon. Papa ka business sambhalta hoon. Kabhi koi girlfriend nahi bani as papa ke clear instructions the No girl friend. Aur shayad mujhe kisi ke liye kuch feel bhi nahi hua." He was speaking non stop and Purvi was listening to him carefully..

Kavin smiled and vanished from there..Purvi was too much engrossed in him that she couldn't notice Kavin's absence.

"Ab sochta hoon ke mujhe isiliye kabhi koi pasand nahi aayi because mujhe tumse milna tha." Rajat said while taking her hand in his..She smiled… They were talking and sharing their likes - dislikes and other things..
