"ONE FOR ALL! SIXTY PERCENT!"

Midoriya felt the pressure build before it exploded out, as he threw his fist in the air. In a second everything went from calm and serene to chaotic as wind tore into the air, even damaging part of the roof and throwing him back.

He immediately came to regret his decision not just from the pain in his hand but in his back as he smashes through the door to the stairs and tumbled down, smacking his head against the wall. 'Ow….'

He flinched, vision bleary as he tried to stand and his stomach churned. He flinched as he turned, arm dangling loosely at his side while he quickly walked back out into the halls. In amongst the pain, he was still aware he probably should avoid getting caught here and having anyone realize he had just deliberately injured himself.

He already had enough people who thought of him as a complete and utter madman. He didn't need to add to that list.

"I think it came from over here!" He heard a woman call out, realizing it must have been some doctors approaching. Wasting no time he quickly pressed his body against the wall, blending as best he could into the shadows.

The door flung open, and light began to pour in as a group of four rushed in and up the stairs. Before they could turn and get a chance to notice him, he quickly and quietly hurried out the door and into the hall.

He hissed as his foot complained, and he had to drag it on it's side, limping towards his room as his face scrunched up in frustration. 'I only meant to break an arm, not damage my entire body…'

Oh well, beggars couldn't be choosers he supposed.

'Was the hospital always this… eerie?' He wondered as he looked around. Very few lights were on, only in the halls given barely enough that one could see where they were going. However some halls seemed almost shrouded in the darkness and the occasionally faulty flickering light did not help.

As well as that, the only noise were beeps that went in time with his heart, presumably from heart monitors and other such devices and static from the few televisions they had yet to turn off.

He shook his head as he continued to limp, turning his head. 'I think I took a right-'

"AHHHHHHHHHH!"

His eyes went wide as he whipped around to the source of the sudden scream. He quickly noted it was feminine and cut off abruptly. It came from behind him, in a room he realised he passed.

it was the old lady who had been laughing at the torture scenes on the movie she was watching. 'What the? Dammit, come on!'

His mark began to to glow as he instinctively prepared to call upon Far Reach. He limped over and punched the door in, easily forcing it open even with it having lock, enhanced strength from his mark coming in useful.

He looked around once he got in, only to feel sick as he took in the woman. Her eyes were wide open, staring into forever with a look of fear, a pale blue tint in them. Her body was rigid, hand dangling over the edge.

He edged closer, horrified as he took her in. He reached out, and pressed a finger against her. No reaction. He moved it up, checking her neck.

No pulse.

She was dead.

"W-what the…. What the hell happened?" He asked her, despite her inability to answer as he crouched down. "She looked fine when I walked past before…."

As he continued to inspect her, he noticed a bump in the sheets covering her and little dark splotches. Hesitantly he took down the sheet, only to see the cause.

"Oh… Oh no… I'm so sorry…."

She had stabbed herself with a syringe, presumably with some kind of injection straight into her heart. A question remained though….

'Why?'

"In here! What the hell is going on today?!" He heard the woman doctor from moments earlier shout and he cursed his luck, looking up and hurrying as fast as he could into the bathroom before he was seen.

He locked the door behind him and looked up, seeing the vent similar to the one in the room he was in before. He wasted no time taking off the grating and scrambling inside, hissing as he agitated his arm. 'Crap. This is gonna be more annoying than I thought- OW!'

He gritted his teeth as he banged his arm against the metal wall again, deciding to just focus on crawling for now until he could get out. It took a couple minutes but eventually he came out on room on the other side, away from prying eyes.

He made his escape, dropping out and making sure to put the pressure on his good arm as he landed. He quickly hurried out and found himself in the hall again. 'Ok, gotta deal with the demon fast!'

As he thought that, he hurried around the corner….

And smashed right into said demon, falling back with a yelp. He looked up, eyes going wide as he saw those dark eyes. Kiyoshi frowned, looking over the teen.

"Mister Midoriya, you aren't supposed to leave- My goodness, what happened to your arms?!" The dark haired doctor asked as he crouched down, offering a hand. Midoriya didn't grab it, picking himself up and gritting his teeth. 'Your goodness? Isn't the whole point that you have none!?'

The demon smiled, making the greenette shudder. The faux cheery attitude was creepy as hell to him. Then, his dark eyes began to glow blue and the marked boy felt an odd sensation wash over him as…. As thoughts…

Kill. Tear him apart. Destroy-

'What the-! No, fuck fuck stop!' He thought, backing off. The thoughts were like the same he had been having in his shadow form, only now they seemed even more prevalent, clouding his own thoughts. "Why are-"

"Relax mister Midoriya. I'm just using my quirk to calm you down." Kiyoshi lied, with that stupid smile. "It gives you whatever thoughts you find calming and enjoyable, to distract you from the pain and make sure you are calm. Just accept it."

He kept quiet, but in his mind Midoriya was telling the demon some things he was sure his class would be horrified to hear come from his mouth. 'Just- Gotta….. gotta attack. I can end this… now….'

His hand twitched, as he thought of grabbing his sword. However, despite his own thought he couldn't move his arm. Not because of anything the demon was doing, but his own discomfort.

'Come on….'

Smoke

'Just end it! Just-'

DO IT DEKU!

His eyes went wide as the thoughts all dissipated entirely, only one thought taking over his mind. He looked around, no longer in the hospital.

No, he was…. In school? Surrounded by children?

He looked down, a lighter in hand.

"I don't… I don't want to!"

"DO IT DEKU! DO IT DEKU!"

"Midoriya?" The demon asked, turning his head and suddenly Midoriya was back. Back in the hospital. He could move again. He could grab his sword, or form Far Lance and try to kill the demon!

He didn't. Instead….

"Where is my room again?"

He'd hope he wasn't butchered as soon as he got back to his room. Still, he could at least abuse the demon seemingly not being in a rush to kill him for whatever reason.

The walk back was tense, and even once they were in Midoriya was half expecting to have to fight for his life at any moment. Still, he remained quiet and tried not to betray that fear as he met Kiyoshi's eyes.

"Now, let us start healing those injuries." The dark haired dcotr said, begin to walking to marked boy only for the teen to retract, holding up his hand.

"Actually, do you think I could get a different doctor?" He asked, and he'd be lying if he didn't enjoy the flicker of annoyance that appeared in Kiyoshi's eyes.

"Mister Midoriya, I must insi-"

"Doctor, I would really prefer to have someone else look me over." He said, voice level. "You just…. Unnerve me. I don't know if I can trust you, and that is hardly a good thing for a doctor. So could I please get another?"

A low growl escape Kiyoshi's throat but the demon took a calming breath, and turned to walk away. "Fine, I'll get someone else in. Our patients health and comfort are our biggest… priorities after all."

'Did- Did that seriously just work?' Midoriya thought surprised as he watched the dark haired doctor storm off. After a couple of moments, a new doctor came in.

A woman with fiery red hair and a kindly smile. Midoriya took a moment to look over her but fortunately his mark didn't ache in any way. She was just a normal doctor.

"Mister Midoriya?" She asked, looking to him and he nodded. "Ah, is there a problem? I'm surprised you have issues with Doctor Kiyoshi. He is one of our best doctors."

"I just…. He sparks a lot of anxiety in me. I think it's the eyes, they remind me of someone I know." The greenette commented vaguely, as he lifted up his bad arm to show the woman. She gasped as she saw it, quickly hurrying over.

"Oh my! Well this is quite problematic. If you can't handle Kiyoshi then…. I'm afraid there isn't much we can do." The woman sighed, as her eyes lit up. Midoriya titled his head to the side confused and she began to explain. "My quirk lets me analyse how long an injury will last, not accounting for any healing quirks of course. None of our doctors are suited to broken limbs, at least none on shift with non-time sensitive quirks, so without Kiyoshi it seems you'll be here…. Until the end of the week. At least you are a fast healer then."

"O-oh… Guess I won't be going back to the internship then…"

Gran Torino was probably gonna kill him for that.

They spend a few more moments talking, assessing the injury. When she asked how he got it he dodged the question with a simple tale that he was a sleepwalker and he most of just used his quirk in his sleep.

The woman had given him a look at that but hadn't made any comments as she walked over and pulled out some kind of cream. It hurt but once it was applied, after a few moments the pain at least began to die down. A numbing agent he could only presume.

After about an hour, the doctor left and Midoriya was on his own, laying in bed, watching Todoroki and Iida sleep as he was forced to stay awake.

He was going to be fucking exhausted in the morning but he was hardly going to take a chance with a demon.

Regrets.

He had a few….thousand.

He also had a killer headache as the light shined in through the window, and his friends began to stir. His arm was in a sling, keeping him from using it and he was bored out of his damn mind.

Of course he would be, there was NOTHING to do here. His phone was dead and without the ability to sleep soundly he'd been aimlessly staring at a wall and thinking for hours on end.

He was sure he probably had bags under his eyes and…. Well his hair was already a mess so that at least wouldn't be any different.

"M-Midoriya? What happened to you?!" A surprised, yet still stilted voice asked and the greenette looked over to see Todoroki swinging his feet over the edge of his bed. "Are you ok?"

"Fine, just had an…. Incident last night. Sleepwalking." He said, brushing it away.

Yeah, Todoroki didn't look like he bought it for a second. Still, the heterochromatic teen didn't comment on it as he got up and made his way to the bathroom.

Iida woke up a few moments later and he explained the same to his tall friend, who merely regarded him with a concerned look as the two teens started their day.

Something the greenette certainly was happy about was noting that his classmates seemed to be healing fairly fast. That meant they could be out of the hospital soon and the marked teen would have that much less to talk about.

"Ah! Good to see you are all awake." A new voice spoke up and the greenette turned to see the same doctor who had helped him the night before walking in. "Just dropping by to let you all know that, so long as you give us a heads up ahead of time, you three are free to go to other areas of the hospital. We need to know in case of any incidents but we don't want to confine you to one place! We know how boring it can be here."

"Oh thank god." Midoriya muttered under his breath and Iida seemed to perk up at the news.

"Oh, well then…. I…. I believe my brother is still a patient here?"

"Ah yes, Tensei is actually just in the room below us." The doctor nodded, before a bright grin took over her face. "He did tell us to let you in if requested so I suppose if you want to go see him, I can take you there."

"Ah, yes please. Thank you very much. May I take my friends with me? I believe my brother would like to meet them as well." Iida asked as he began to stand up, smiling to his shorter classmates.

"Ah, of course." The red head smiled, turning on her heel. "I'll wait for you three outside. Mister Midoriya might need a minute or two to get up."

The marked boy narrowed his eyes at that comment but he would be lying if he said he wasn't a little excited. He put the thought of dealing Kiyoshi on hold for now.

Meeting Ingenium would be a super welcome distraction.
