ACT V
As it turned out, Baljeet had never been wrong. The entire Tri-State Area has turned into an ashen battlefield, and everyone looked around in fear, like they were doomed.
"I can't believe Kazuya and Heihachi did all of this," Lei said.
"Again, this is what happens when they do the decorating," Buford replied.
"First, we take down the Mishimas," Marduk suggested. "Then, we clean up the decorations!"
King nodded in agreement as he growled. He doesn't speak, but his jaguar growls can translate speech.
"This is out of control," Candace said. "How are we gonna get you guys to Kazuya and Heihachi, so you can beat them?"
"Not with all those G Corp soldiers out there," Christie replied. "We'd best take refuge at your house 'til we think of a plan to stop it."
"She's right," Phineas agreed. "All right, everyone. Back to the backyard and-"
"Multiple enemies approaching," Alisa shouted, in a robotic voice.
Suddenly, without warning, the Sun-Beater 3000 was being hit by G Corp soldiers, shooting it with their guns!
"Whoa," Phineas yelled.
Anna brought a big bazooka to do the big bang on the plane as she said, "Perfect shot!" Then, she fired it anyway, but the Sun-Beater 3000 missed it.
"We'll never make it!" Isabella cried.
Jin looked around at the situation. He only had an instant to make a difficult decision. "Sorry, boys, we'll make this work somehow," he said.
Phineas looked at Jin and they both nodded. He realized that he, Ferb and their Danville friends will have to be the bait for G Corporation while the Tekken fighters make it to safety.
With that, Jin pressed the eject button, removing Phineas, Ferb, Candace, and their friends from the Sun-Beater 3000. Except Perry.
"What are you doing?" Xiaoyu gasped.
"A back-up plan," Jin replied. "To buy us some time."
"We've got to go help them!" Xiaoyu yelled urgently.
"But this isn't our world right now," Jin said.
"Okay, which was it, Jin?" Xiaoyu asked. "Which concussion did you suffer that made you think THIS was a back-up plan?"
"That's not the point here," Nina replied.
"What's the point of watching our new friends from this universe gets captured?!" Xiaoyu cried. "You just abandoned them. We could've made it. We could've all made it!"
"Or we could've all been captured, and I wasn't going to take that chance," Jin argued. "Someone's got to be the bait to lure G Corp away for us to buy time. You once said it yourself, family relationships are way too complicated."
"I did say that, did I?" Xiaoyu said.
"Yes, yes you did," Jin nodded.
There was nothing Xiaoyu and the other fighters could do but watch as G Corp descended on Phineas, Ferb, Candace, and their friends. Like it or not, it looked as if the Danville kids and teenagers were on their own.
Xiaoyu hugged Panda, who was holding onto Perry, gently.
"I hope that Buford kid had his heart on those nachos and a hoagie," Paul said to Marshall.
The Danville gang - Phineas, Ferb, Candace, Isabella, Buford, Baljeet, Stacy, and the Fireside Girls - were so outnumbered by G Corporation that their surrender was inevitable.
The G Corp troops and soldiers picked them up and brought them to a meeting with...
...Kazuya Mishima, along with Anna Williams.
Heihachi, Kuma, and even Dr. Doofenshmirtz were here, too, with a new machine Dr. D had built.
It seemed that while the Danville group were gone, Heihachi requested Dr. D to build the Devil Gene-Inator, hopefully to rid the Devil Gene inside of Kazuya.
But Kazuya was too busy with the Danville kids and teenagers when they arrived in the mayor's office at the now-decorated City Hall.
"So, this is Kazuya?" Phineas said to the others. "He looked a lot different than I imagined."
"Hey!" Anna spoke up to them, "Don't tell you forgot about ME, you meddling kids!"
"Oh...you're that lady who came with Kazuya, and attacked us," Candace recognized. "Annie, was it?"
"It's ANNA, you redhead!" Anna yelled at Candace.
"Enough," Kazuya said to Anna. Then, he approached Phineas and the kids as he scoffed, "You kids thought you all could fly back over here and stop me. How pathetic! Now you have no choice but to tell me where my son, Jin, is."
"No," Phineas answered.
"That's not one of your choices, if you may say. Now then, where's Jin?"
"Not telling you," Phineas answered again.
"Hey, uh, can I say something?" Candace asked, anxiously. "So, I think I'm up to date on the whole 'Mishima feud' thing; which is kinda the odd thing that's been happening this entire day. But who exactly is this guy?" she asked, looking at Heihachi.
"Look, I'm done playing this game of yours. For the last time, where is Jin?!" Kazuya asked in anger.
"Nope, nuh-uh, doesn't ring a bell," Baljeet, Isabella, Buford, Stacy, and the Fireside Girls all answered.
Kazuya sighed. "Normally, my father would do it, but his pharmacist friend is an idiot," he said, pointing at Heihachi and Dr. Doofenshmirtz.
"HEY!" Heihachi and Dr. Doofenshmirtz protested in unison.
Kazuya then turned to Phineas and Ferb as he continued, "But imagine my surprise when I find out that you went to our universe to recruit several of the world's greatest fighters to help you save your little Tri-State Area and to stop me and my father, all while you didn't realize that Jin was too cowardly to face his old man. So, now you've come back to see that your world is in ashes and under my rule. Well, I have a surprise for you two - your savior was many things, but a coward is not one of them! Jin... a pathetic excuse for a son."
"Uh, that's cold," Candace spoke up. "I mean, he's your son, ain't he? Is this really how family works for you and Heihachi?!"
"Enough!" Kazuya silenced Candace as he shouted, "I don't care what you said. It's the fate of our family to fight and betray each other. It's in our blood."
Then, Kazuya turned to Candace. "And what about you? So typical. Just any other day of summer vacation without any interference from your brothers. And you just can't stand it, can you? Let me guess, when we came to your universe, you prefer to 'run for your lives' from our battle, just like my son!"
"Oooh, ouch! That's kinda true, though," Buford agreed.
"Look, kids...," Anna then went up to the boys, "Kazuya here and I don't care that your answer is no. All my boss is asking you is to tell him where his son, Jin Kazama, is so that he can end him and continue conquering your world and enslaved your loved ones."
"See, that's the thing," Candace explain. "Why would we let your boss's family feud lead to our own self-destruction?"
Heihachi's eyes lit up. He had figured out something quite unexpected on the Devil Gene -Inator.
"Wait a second! I get it now," Heihachi said quietly to himself. "That fool of a scientist put a self-destruct button on it!"
So, Heihachi rewire it so that it can work well.
"Everything has led me to this moment," Heihachi laughed as he talked to Kazuya, who turned to him. "You were being saved by that accursed devil. With the Devil Gene -Inator, I shall rid the Devil Gene from yours and Jin's blood...after I burn the flesh from both your bones!"
"Woah, what?!" Dr. Doofenshmirtz gasped.
"No, no, Dr. D," Heihachi tried to correct him, "I meant my son and grandson."
"Oh, right," Doofenshmirtz nodded.
But when the Devil Gene -Inator hit on Kazuya, however, ...
"Well, look who just become a redundant fool," Kazuya said, smiling.
"H-How?! It was working! It was functioning properly!" Dr. Doofenshmirtz was shocked.
"I reprogrammed it so that it can make the Devil Gene inside me even more powerful while you weren't looking," Kazuya explained as he was feeling such power.
"H-He's a monster...!" Buford was stunned.
"How can this be?" Baljeet was shocked as well.
Kazuya then stared at Phineas and Ferb and ordered the G Corp. soldiers, "Take them away!"
And with that, the kids and even Dr. D were all locked away in a cell, along with some of the citizens of Danville.
Except Heihachi, because Kazuya still had a score to settle with his own father...and later, Jin.
Meanwhile, the Tekken fighters made it to the Flynn-Fletcher house. As they did, they went inside to settle themselves down for a while.
Lei, Christie, and Perry, who changed back to Agent P, went inside as well, followed by Jin, Xiaoyu, and Panda.
"So, this is their house? Very nice," Paul looked around.
The fighters looked around the whole house, including the rooms, the kitchen, and the backyard, where the Universal-Portal machine is still here.
Xiaoyu sat down on the couch with Panda, sadly.
"I still can't believe Phineas and Ferb have been captured while their home is in trouble," Xiaoyu said to Panda. "I mean, look at this." She pointed at an emergency news broadcast that was on TV.
"The chaos/war between the Mishima Zaibatsu and G Corporation continues all over the Tri-State Area!" The anchor said, breathlessly. "And now for the weather."
The camera panned over to the weatherman, who was in a total panic. "It's game over, Phil!" he screamed, "Game over!"
"You'd think they need all the help they can get?" Xiaoyu asked, worried.
Then, she and Panda noticed that Agent P, Lei, and Christie were going somewhere.
"Follow us," Lei told Xiaoyu and Panda.
Xiaoyu and Panda followed the trio as they crawled through the hole and landed right into the middle of Agent P's lair!
"Cool lair!" Xiaoyu realized.
Agent P pushed a button, and then a computerized voice appeared, "Auto scan replication initiated."
Suddenly, a wall whooshed open and a device shoot out red beams to recreate and reveal many amazing contraptions in all shapes, colors, and sizes.
They were all of Phineas and Ferb's inventions!
"It's everything the boys built the whole summer," Xiaoyu was amazed as she turned to Agent P. "Somehow, you must've replicated all of their projects."
"Now I've seen everything," Christie said, smiling.
"Guys, I know what we're gonna do today!" Xiaoyu exclaimed. "We're gonna save the Tri-State Area!"
Panda played a little triumphant music by the pitch pipe.
Grabbing all of Phineas and Ferb's inventions, the Tekken fighters were all geared up and ready for their biggest battle ever. They raced out of the Flynn-Fletcher house and into the streets of downtown Danville, where G Corp. soldiers are storming.
The Tekken fighters knew they had to find Phineas, Ferb, and their friends as soon as possible - and they knew that the boys would most likely be part of the action.
Before long, Xiaoyu managed to find Jin, who was looking out the window in the living room.
"Jin, come on, we got to save them," Xiaoyu pleaded him.
But Jin didn't answer.
"Look, Jin, if we don't save Phineas, Ferb, and everyone in the Tri-State Area right this instant, they're gonna be dead. And if that happens, heaven forbid, I'm never gonna speak to them again."
Jin listened to Xiaoyu's words and looked at the almost ruined town of Danville. It reminded him of the war he declared back at their universe, but this was different.
It was clear that neither both his dad or his grandfather will have complete control of the Tri-State Area. Jin decided that it was time to fight, only to help the people of Danville take back their hometown and summer vacation from Kazuya and Heihachi. He'll do it for Phineas and Ferb, but not with the Devil Gene inside him.
"If there's even the chance they're out there, I have to go," Jin answered.
Xiaoyu smiled, "Well, fine! I'm coming, too. There's no way I'm letting you save Phineas and Ferb alone."
Jin joined up with Xiaoyu and the other fighters. If there was any hope of saving the Tri-State Area, they would have to join forces with the people of Danville.
Jin vs. Kazuya and Heihachi in a battle to decide the fate of the Tri-State Area. It was now or never!
Meanwhile, Phineas, Ferb, Candace, and all of their friends found themselves locked up in prison cells.
"Isn't it just great," Candace said, sarcastically. "First, I got us involved in a family feud with the Mishimas, then we went to their universe, recruiting some fighters from the King of Iron Fist Tournament, and now Jin did the one thing, and we ended up in a cell."
"Well, at least Jin and the others are okay," Phineas replied.
"Well, that's the problem," Baljeet said, "Kazuya running amok is a crisis. But him and Heihachi both? That's, like, an apocalypse!"
"So, we're like the only that stands between a crisis and an apocalypse?" Buford asked, "Game over, man! We're doomed!"
"Well, what lesson am I supposed to learn here?" Candace asked.
They all had a feeling that they might or might not make it out of this situation.
Just then, they thought they heard a familiar voice. "Full drive mode activated"
"Did you hear something?" Alyson asked.
"Alisa!" Isabella immediately recognized that voice.
KABOOM!
A huge explosion knocked down the prison walls! Through a cloud of debris, the Tekken fighters triumphantly appeared, coming to rescue them!
"Cavalry coming through, people!" Paul exclaimed. "You can all applaud to me later."
Phineas, Ferb, and their friends see that the Tekken fighters and everyone all over Danville band together, riding and wielding one of Phineas and Ferb's past inventions.
"All right, everyone! Time to kick some Mishima chassis!" Phineas cried as everyone cheered.
Even the band, Love Händel, had come to play some musical accompaniment as they charged into the battle.
Meanwhile, Dr. Doofenshmirtz, who was free of his cell, raced off to his headquarters. But when he got there, however, Heihachi appeared.
"I've had just about enough of you!" Heihachi scoffed.
"Now, now. Let's not get too hasty, Heihachi buddy," Dr. Doofenshmirtz replied, nervously.
"I am NOT your buddy," Heihachi replied, crushing his knuckled fists. "You and everyone in this town have wasted my time! The Mishima Zaibatsu will be mine!"
"Wait, I thought we were partners, amigos," Dr. Doofenshmirtz was confused. This betrayal/double-cross was very hard for him to comprehend.
"News flash, fool, I am over you. I'm over this universe, and I'm going out there because this is between me and Kazuya!" Heihachi exclaimed.
Just then, Lei and Agent P appeared. Lei went to deal with Heihachi and Agent P battles Kuma while Dr. Doofenshmirtz hides from behind his couch.
Meanwhile, the battle was still going on in the city of Danville.
The Devil Gene-Inator began to malfunction, making Kazuya feel in pain, "Come on, you stupid thing, work!" Kazuya yelled as he smacked the -inator.
Hiding from Kazuya, Candace watched the whole thing, "So, that Devil Gene machine must be what's wrong with Kazuya's devil blood..." she realized. "Maybe if I could just destroy it..." She spotted a bazooka left behind.
Candace was trying to grab a bazooka to destroy the -Inator, but then...
"Oh no, you don't!" Anna shouted as she reached for her bazooka and pointed at Candace. "You know something, Can-dace? You have been a thorn in my side all day. Well, it all ends right now!"
Narrowing her eyes, Anna aimed the bazooka at Candace and fired. But something remarkable happened: Nina swooped in and kicked the missile as hard as she could and then-
BOOM! The missile was sent flying right at the Devil Gene-Inator, destroying it!
"YAAAAARGH!" Kazuya yelled as the energy from the device faded from him.
Just then, Phineas, Ferb, and their friends arrived.
"Guys, look!" Candace yelled. "Nina just made the perfect kick!"
But before anyone could celebrate, everyone began to evacuate when the ground started to shake.
Suddenly, Kazuya burst out an enormous power of the Devil Gene inside of him. "You...," Kazuya said in anger, looking at Candace, Phineas, and Ferb.
"Uh-oh," Candace gulped.
Nina tried to get the Danville gang to escape, but Kazuya's attacks keep on coming.
"I'm sorry, but if you think you and your friends can escape me, you're sadly mistaken." Kazuya said to Phineas and Ferb.
During the final battle, Nina was injured, protecting Candace and was somehow despondent from losing Steve Fox.
"I'm through playing around," Kazuya said, transforming into his devil form.
"WHAAAT?! So, he wasn't even human after all?" Candace was terrified.
Phineas, Ferb, Xiaoyu and everyone exchanged a shocked glance. How could they ever defeat such a powerful foe?
However, just when all hope was lost, a shadow came down from above. It was none other than Jin Kazama, standing between the people of Danville and Kazuya.
"Jin!" Xiaoyu was surprised.
"So, you finally came," Kazuya said.
"I've come a long way to find you...and Heihachi as well," Jin replied.
"Don't tell me you're starting the showdown without ME!" A voice bellowed.
It was Heihachi, who had jumped far across out of Doofenshmirtz Evil Inc. and landed right into City Hall, where everyone stood.
"Hello, grandson," Heihachi greeted Jin. "I've been expecting you. You've come a long way to see all of this. And here we are, reunited."
"Don't get sentimental on me, old man," Kazuya replied. "The only thing I'm gonna see is you all die by my hand."
"This has nothing to do with the boys," Jin said, pointing at Phineas and Ferb. "They're here because of me. I'm helping them take back what's theirs from you two!"
"What happened to you, boy?" Heihachi asked. "What happened to the devil inside of you?"
"Don't bother bringing that up," Jin said. "As if blood runs deep inside us. The only thing that brought us here is hatred. I only spared you two in my mom's sake, because it was an act of compassion and mercy. We're now in a circle of victory and defeat, death and resurrection, always ready for the next battle."
"Okay," Candace spoke up. "I still don't get it, but now I get it!"
"Silence," Heihachi shouted at everyone. "This is fate, this is the living moment! We Mishimas live to fight!"
"I've had enough of all of your babbling," Kazuya said. "It's time for war!"
And so, the three members of the Mishima Family began to fight against each other.
In Jin's eyes, it was him against his father and grandfather.
In Kazuya's eyes, it was him versus his father and his son.
In Heihachi's eyes, he's going against his son and grandson.
"This is going to get intense," Ferb said.
"Yes, yes, it is," Phineas agreed.
"I woke up this morning to a Bettys concert," Stacy said. "I did not expect this."
At Doofenshmirtz Evil Inc., Dr. Doofenshmirtz, Agent P, Lei, and even Kuma were watching the whole thing from afar.
"What's going on?" Dr. Doofenshmirtz asked. "How are they this strong? What kind of juice they did drink?"
"This isn't the result of training, Dr. D," Lei answered. "This is like destiny. You see, you and all of the Tri-State Area aren't deal with an average family feud anymore."
"WHAAAATTT?!" Dr. Doofenshmirtz gasped, as did Agent P.
"Phineas, Ferb, stay back," Jin told them. "This is between them and me."
"Okay," Phineas nodded, as did Ferb.
"I don't know much about you, but you really helped me out. Thank you," Jin thanked them. "Let me be the one to finish it."
"Sure thing," Phineas replied as he and Ferb got their friends and the Tekken fighters to safety.
"Jin...," Xiaoyu said, worried.
"Well, well. The beginning of a final battle," Nina said. "The fate of the entire Tri-State Area's at stake."
And so, the battle began with Jin, Kazuya, and Heihachi pulling their punches on each other.
Then, halfway through it, in response of the devil inside of Jin, taunting him, he transformed into Devil Jin.
Like Jin said before, the devil inside him gets stronger every time he fights, even every time he clenches a fist.
But during their fight, Kazuya thought about what Jin said. I see, Kazuya thought, remembering his wife. Jun, you made him this way...
"At last!" Heihachi laughed. "My grandson lived up to his potential! But it doesn't matter what universe this is, I've always beaten you two! Everyone falls to me! I AM HEIHACHI MISHIMA!"
But then, Kazuya spoke up, "Give it up..."
"What?!" Heihachi and Jin were surprised.
"You're quitting? WHY?!" Heihachi asked.
"Let's just go back to our world," Kazuya answered. "This Danville and the Tri-State Area ain't worth it. Let's battle for another day like old times, then we'll see once and for all who will run the Mishima Zaibatsu."
"Okay," Jin nodded as he changed back into a human.
And with that, their battle was on hold, and Jin, Kazuya, and Heihachi decided to return home to settle the score. They will fight each other for another day...
The following day, peace had finally returned to the Tri-State Area.
With the Sun-Beater 3000 broken down, Phineas and Ferb still had their Universal-Portal machine back at the backyard for Jin, Xiaoyu, Nina, Kazuya, Heihachi, Anna, Kuma, and all the fighters to return home to their universe.
"Hey, guys," Phineas said to the Tekken fighters, "Thank you so much for helping us out. We really appreciate it."
"Guys," Xiaoyu said to Jin and Nina, glaring at them, "Don't you have something you'd wish to say?"
Nina sighed in dismay as she turned to Candace, "Candace, I own you and your friends an apology."
"Don't sweat it. So, uh, what'll you do now?" Candace asked.
"I still got a job to do," Nina replied. "And Candace? You were like the only one I've been able to call a friend."
"Well, after all this, I give myself more time to have fun," Candace said, firmly.
"Just take care of yourself," Nina agreed as she gave Candace a hug.
Xiaoyu went up to Phineas and Ferb as she said, "Boys, I just wanted to say thank you for telling us all about summer and opening up our horizons. And even teaching Panda some classical guitar."
Panda pulled out the instrument and played a tune.
Lei and Christie arrived, with Kazuya and Anna tied up in one rope together, along with the entire G Corp army; and Heihachi and Kuma tied up in another. They were all ready to come back home, too!
"Thanks for your help, boys," Lei thanked Phineas and Ferb. "You'll open a portal back to our universe for us, so we can all go home now."
"I'm glad we could help," Phineas said.
As everyone said their goodbyes, Buford gave Paul, Marshall, Bob, Steve, and Hwoarang fist pumps and some nachos and hoagies.
Baljeet did a little fist pump with Marduk and King.
The Fireside Girls and Isabella gave Xiaoyu, Alisa, Julia, and Panda a group hug.
Lili gave Ferb a little kiss, making Asuka groaned in dismay.
"Bye, ya' crazy kids," Paul said, proudly. "It was so awesome to meet you and be the only reason we kicked some major butt! Please send my love to everyone in your town!"
"Bye, everyone," Lili did the same, then she looked at Ferb as she said to Asuka, "I have finally looked forward to get to know him muuuch better..."
"But that's another story," Ferb said.
The Tekken characters waved goodbyes as they all jumped through the portal to their own universe. Agent P, who was now back in pet mode as Perry the Platypus, scurried back to the boys.
"Man, this is been the best day ever," Phineas said. "But I think it's best to call it a day now that things will be back to normal. Who knows? Maybe we might clean up the whole town as well."
Just then, a bright light showered upon the gang, and appearing before them was Angel from the Tekken universe.
"What now?!" Candace groaned. "Just when we were wrapping things up!"
"You have all done well," Angel spoke. "Jin Kazama had a choice, and he could've turned away from fear, but then, he let it rule his heart and win."
"Oh, you're welcome," Candace said. "Wait, what? Why?"
"Because Jin feared who he would be if he stopped fighting," Angel replied. "If he stopped listening to the devil who rages inside his heart. I sought to free his father, but he is lost. Jin Kazama is the only one who can break his curse. Farewell."
As Angel disappeared, Candace was relieved. "Okay, now can we just...?" But then she noticed Buford and Baljeet juggling corn dogs and a giant zebra controlling puppets.
"That's it," Candace realized. "I'm dreaming again. This is all just been one big..."
"...DREAM?!" Candace gasped as woke up in her own bedroom. "So, none of that really happened?! If it did, that would've been a doozy. I am so happy."
Soon, Candace went up to her brothers and their friends at their backyard.
"Guys, I just had the weirdest and craziest dream," Candace said, beginning to explain. "There was this woman I met named..."
"Nina Williams," Phineas guessed.
"Yeah, and she said that she worked for...,"
"The Mishima Zaibatsu?"
"Uh-huh, and then we all..."
"Got involved into a battle between the Zaibatsu and G Corp, and that we traveled to another world and met Jin Kazama and the other fighters. Then, we saved the Tri-State Area from certain doom. That about sums it up." Buford entirely guessed.
"Okay, how did you know that?" Candace asked, being annoyed.
"We build a device that projects your dreams like a movie," Phineas explained, showing Candace their latest invention.
As the kids put the Dream-Movie projector to the test, Candace's dream of their crossover adventure with Tekken appeared on the screen.
As they all watched, Phineas began to ask, "Do you think it's weird that Candace dreamed and remembered about the best day ever, remembered the craziest and oddest adventure we've ever had, and remembered meeting the fighters from Tekken, but it all happened in one swoop?"
"We may have remembered many things, but we still had one Tekken day," Ferb spoke.
"Agreed," Phineas nodded.
Candace didn't know what happened, but she could tell that it'd just be another day of summer vacation. With her brothers and their friends, Candace knew that Phineas and Ferb always find ways to spend it...as soon as she herself still attempts to bust them.
As for Nina Williams? Well, she woke up as well, at the top of the Mishima Zaibatsu HQ, in her own universe. She didn't know what happened, but she could tell that anything from that dream would have happened. If it didn't, how come she and Candace experience the same dream?
The fighters from the King of Iron Fist Tournament have all experienced it, too, as did Jin, Xiaoyu and Panda, Anna, Kazuya, Heihachi and Kuma.
But now that Nina knew that her adventure had been real or not, she still had one thing to do: Jin Kazama is still out there somewhere, and who else would save the man who couldn't save himself?
