(Mayune's POV)

Stopping at the doors I take a breath with my hand on the door handle before turning it and opening the door to SPR. As the door opens I hear the door chime go off signaling the arrival of clients this drew Koujo out and when our eyes met I smiled and closed the door behind me once I had fully entered the building. I walk over to him and get on my toes and place a kiss on his cheek as my hand rest on his shoulder for support while I feel his hands one on my back the other on my waist. I smile as I say, "Evening my love how has your day been?"

""Great now that you are here." Koujo says as he starts to led me towards Oliver's office.

I quickly stop him and turn towards Yasuhara who is sitting at the desk that was once mine and pull out some invites from my purse and hand them to him. As I hand them off to him I say, "These are invites to the wedding but since it is too close to the date meaning none of you would be able to book a flight the access codes for the live stream are on there...oh and can you have John call me when he receives his please and thank you there is one for everyone there except Oliver I will give him his." I smile as he stares at the invites in shock at the fact that they were invited. Yet all I can think is they feel as if I am family and I still feel that way about them I just haven't forgiven them yet so this is a start if they still want to be apart of my life. As I turn away and start to head towards Koujo as he waits for me with a soft smile on his face I can tell that he is happy to see that I am taking the first step in accepting them back into my life.

Both of us knock on Oliver's door at the same time and wait of him to allow us access once allowed in Koujo opens the door and lets me walk in first. As the door opens I find Oliver looking up at us waiting as I look into his eyes I cant tell that he is confused and wondering what this meeting is all about. As if seeing that I am watching him he looses all look of concern from his eyes before signaling for us to take the seats in front of his desk. Oliver then ask, "What is it you want to discus?" as he crosses his hands on his desk.

Smiling I respond and say, "Well Koujo and I want to talk to you about something important...hows that sound?"

I watch as his calm mask slips from his face before being quickly put back on and he ask, "What is so important that we need to have a meeting since Koujo will not be working here any longer once your wedding?"

From the corner of my eye I see Koujo stiffen at how rude Oliver is being and without second thought I reach over and give his hand a squeeze. To which he turn his hand over and laces our fingers together before relaxing and saying, "That is what we have come here to talk to you about." As soon as Koujo said that I can tell that Oliver is shock at this revelation.

Oliver then pinched the bridge of his nose with his thumb and forefinger as he says, "What is it Koujo...if you want compensation talk to my father...if not then this meeting is over." He says before starting to reach for his book on his desk.

When Koujo snapped, "Oliver!...You will listen to Mayune and I have to say...I have already talk with you father now listen."

I quickly say, "Honey calm down...Oliver is just throwing a tantrum at the thought that you might be leaving...relax and lets all talk about this like civil adults." As I spoke I notice Oliver perk at the word 'might' before schooling his expression again.

Koujo then says, "Okay...thank you my love...Yes Oliver we need to talk about my resignation."

Oliver then said, "There is nothing I can do for you it has already been filed back in Britain."

I quickly shout, "Oliver shut up!...Koujo is trying to talk and you just keep interrupting him and saying what ever you want...stop being a child and listen to someone else for once in your life."

As soon as I said that his eyes widened be he angrily spoke one word, "What."

Koujo then looked Oliver in the eyes and said, "I have already spoken to your father it was soon after Mayune convinced me to pull my resignation..."As he said those word Oliver's eyes widened showing his shock, though Koujo continued to talk by saying, "I told your father that I will still work with you...but I need a leave of absence so Mayune and I can adjust to life with Akiko after we have officially adopted her. I asked for a leave of six months, though your father countered my offer with a year of leave...but I promised that if a case became dangerous or that you have decided to take on a case that could prove to be detrimental to the health and lively hood of the team that I would return and assist you till the case was closed I then would return to my leave and once leave was over I would be back on the team like I am right now working every day...but I will need to have more time off the weekend preferably just Saturday and Sunday if not I want to be home before Akiko or Mayune fall asleep ...Is that understood Oliver?"

I watch as olive took in all the words Koujo was saying before he spoke by saying, "So you are going to continue to work with us...but you will be on leave and on call if the cases I take turn for the worst and you want weekends off or to leave earlier every day to see your family." He says as he looks between me and Koujo before addressing be by questioning, "And you are okay with this...with him working with me."

Smiling I respond, "I am fine with Koujo working with you he loves this job...I don't know why he thought I wanted him to quit this job when he enjoys it so much...but I will say this and you better listen don't work him like a dog I will what my husband home so he can at least say goodnight to his daughter before she has to go to bed."

As I spoke Oliver's eyes widened a fraction before returning to normal and he said, "Well then it seems that everything is settled."

Smiling I then reach into my purse without looking and pull out a wedding invite and say, "Here is your invite to the wedding I have provided you with and access code for the live stream sense it is to late to book a flight to china so you can watch it where ever you want just please sign in using your name."

I say before placing the invite on his desk and standing up and heading towards the door though just as I am about to grab the handle Oliver says, "What makes you think I won't use the BSPR's privet jet to take the team and I to china the day before so we can attend the wedding?"

At his words I am slightly shock before I look over my shoulder I say, "Well if you do then I will have food and places set for all of you to sit encase you are able to make it if not then it is fine you can all watch the wedding on the live stream." before turning the handle and exiting his office.

As I exit the office I hear Koujo say, "I would be happy if all of you were to make it to the wedding just I ask that none of you cause any problems or try to stop the wedding...because if one of you guys do object or try to stop the wedding I will quit my position and work only with Mayune's team. Do you understand me Noll?"

I hear Oliver respond. "I understand completely...I will talk to the others and see if they are able to get the the two days off so we can all attend the wedding I will tell you within the next forty-eight hours if and who will be attending the wedding." As I listen I fell that John will not be able to make the wedding and somehow that eases me.

I look to my right and see Yasuhara looking at me I smile right as Koujo exits Oliver's office and closes the door behind him. I quickly turn around and look Koujo in the eyes and say, "I love you Koujo..."as I get on my toes and place a kiss on his cheek while keeping my hands on his chest before saying, "Now I must get going and meet Kimiko and the others at her shop to get my dress...see you when you get home love you." I pull my hands off after placing another kiss on his cheek and leaving him smiling as I walk towards the front door. Right before I leave I shout, "Good by Olive..." and say, "Good by Yasuhara see you later." I then close the door behind me before descending the stair and heading to the van. Once in the van I start it up and exit the parking lot and head towards Kimiko's shop here in Shibuya.

As I pull into the parking lot I see the other van, quickly pulling into a parking spot I put the van in park and turn it off and grab my shoes, and purse. I shut the van door behind me and lock it, right as I am about to open the door it suddenly opens revealing Chihiro smiling as she looks a me before saying, "Come on we have been waiting for you."

Smiling I sake my head as I walk in as she hold the door open for me, looking up I see them sitting there as well as Father Michel sitting in the back row reading his Bible before looking up at me and smiling before returning back to reading is Bible. I say, "Hay every one sorry to have kept you waiting."

As soon as I said that Kimiko came out of the back followed by her mother who quickly set every thing in her hands down and quickly got to me before enclosing me in a hug and saying, "Oh look how big you have gotten you are so pretty. I can't believe you are getting married in a week and a half...if only Kimiko would get married then I wouldn't have to worry."

Kimiko then spoke up saying, "Mother! I have been dating Marius for two years...ugh...we have already discussed this...now com on Mayune we need to get you in your dress and I see you brought your shoes like I said good...now follow me...lets go...come on, we don't have all day."

Laughing I follow behind her as I say, "okay, okay shes calm down." As I follow her into a dressing room.

Kimiko smiles once we are inside and says, "So I sowed the slips onto the dresses inside, I also added some extra lift for the girls up front..." as she signaled with her hands around her own breast before saying, "and I also made sure the skirt covered all of the front." Smiling as I understood what she was saying. I begin to remove my clothes as she opens the bag containing my dress revealing it to me.

Smiling I say, "Stunning." as I watch her pull it out if the bag and hanging it on the wall hook. Kimiko then helped me into the dress before allowing me to zip myself up and adjust my breast looking in the mirror I say, "You did amazing."

All Kimiko responds is, "I know' alright now for the second part" as she attaches the last piece to the dress. She then helps me slip on my heels as I remove my hair from my messy bun and run my fingers though it smoothing it out until it looks like natural waves cascading over my left shoulder. She then hands me the earrings that my grandmother had worn when she got married. I had found them with a letter from my mother as well as a hair comb that my mother said the she herself had worn for her wedding, and I quickly remove my own before putting them on all while glancing in the mirror as she bobby pins some hair tight for the hair piece. Once she is done I watch as she holds my mothers comb in her hand before coming up to me and placing in in my air on the right side of my head. As soon as she stepped away I feel my breath leave me at how I look, as if sensing that I was about to cry she hands me a tissue before she whispers, "Hold it in unless your makeup is water proof...then its fine to let it out."

At her words I smile pushing the tears back by blinking and placing the tissue under each eye before pulling it away preventing any tears from falling I then say, "Okay I'm ready lets show them." I say as I nod my head smiling before turning away from the mirror and following her out of the room. I hear the others talking and as soon as they see me I hear a gasp as they all fall quiet. Laughing I say, "I guess you like it."

Meihui then says, "Mayune you look stunning...oh...Koujo isn't going to know what hit him when he sees you."

I smile and say, "Your probable right...but this isn't the entire dress Kimiko can you help me please?"

I hear Kimiko say, "Yeah." from behind me before I fell her remove the outer skirt revealing the fit and flare dress below. I laugh as everyone is yet again stunned at my dress.

"Oh my Mayune this is amazing...two dresses in one." says Meihui as she gets up and walks towards me.

I then smile and say, "Well these sleeves do come off as well." As I removed them turning the dress into a fit and flair strapless dress.

"Mayune you have out done your self." says Chihiro sa she stares at me from her seat.

I respond, "Well then I found this dress that was by a designer named martin thornburg, the only thing I wanted changed was the over skirt so I asked someone who just so happened to be the designer and he said that he could change the skirt to be a full skirt instead of what it originally was."

I say as Kimiko Walks in front of me before saying, "Alright everyone out of the way the original designer wants some photos he wants to see the finished product to decide if making it this way is something he do from now on or keep it the original." she then put the outer skirt back on me and then she started to take photos of me in the dress before saying, "Okay now turn around so he can see how natural it looks as a full circle. Alright perfect now you can change out of it lets go and make sure it doesn't get dirty." Smiling I listen to her before she comes up and removers the outer skirt I then follow behind her to change out of the dress. As soon as I am in my regular clothes I pull my mother hair comb out of my hair and remove my grandmothers earrings and the bobby pins out of my hair. I then put my hair back up into a messy bun. Kimiko then says, "Okay so I sowed and extra pocket in the dress bag for the comb and earrings so don't worry about them it has a zipper on it. Alright I will have this dress to you two days before the wedding. I will personally bring it over on my pj(privet jet) so you wont have to worry about wrinkles, all you have to worry about is bringing your shoes and making sure you are there at least two days before the wedding."

I respond to her by saying, "Okay understood be there two day before the wedding with my shoes." Then both of us walk out of the room me holding my shoes and her nothing.

When the others don't see the dress bag they freak and Karin ask, "What happened wheres the dress?"

I simply smile and say, "Its fine Kimiko will be bringing it to my house in China two days before the wedding, she will then get it ready for the dig day making sure nothing is wrong with the dress. So now that you have seen the dress let go it is getting late and father James might start worrying about where Akiko is."

As soon as I said that Akiko look up from the chocolate dipped strawberry she had been eating with sad eyes and ask, "Is it time already?"

Though as she is saying this Kimiko's mother walks out the back with a box which I can only assumed is filled with treats and snacks and hands the box to Akiko as she smiles down at her. I let a sad smile grace my lips as I say, "Yeah I am sorry Akiko but it is getting close to the time we promised to get you back to the church." I crouched down next to her as I spoke placing my hand on her head before standing up and holding out my hand and saying, "Come on I will ride with you in the back of the van all the way there, plus we have something we need to talk about." At my words she grabs my hand before we exit the building as we do so I hand the keys to Michel allowing him to drive to the church. I glance at the front as I watch both Michel and Meihui get in and buckle up. As I sit next to Akiko I say, "Akiko.."drawing her attention I then continue to speak saying, "Koujo and I wont be able to see you for a while...but father Michel and every one else will be back the day after I get married your grandparents will be here as well." I watch as she begins to cry I pull her towards me before saying, "Oh...Akiko I am sorry you wont be forgotten of abandoned Koujo and I are coming back for you I promise on my sole Akiko we will be back."

As I said this she slowly stopped her crying before looking up at me and saying, "You promise."

With a sad smile and tears in my eyes I say, "Yeah."as I nod me head at the same time.

It is then that Meihui spoke up by saying, "Little one, as soon as the reception is over grandpa and I and the other are all on the next flight back we will all be back here within eight hours so by the time you wake up the next morning we will be back. In reality we will only be gone for about two and a half days. Yes Mayune and Koujo wont be back for a while but the rest of us will and we will spoil you so don't be sad."

As Meihui said this I watched Akiko's face change from sadness to wonder then to excitement before she looked up at her and asked, "Really only two and a half day."

Though just as I am about to respond my phone rings quickly pulling it out I see an unknown number and answer it by saying, "Mayune Lau speaking."

"Then suddenly the voice of John comes through the line as he says, "Ah...Mayune I mean Lau.."

I quickly stop him and say, "Its fine you can call me Mayune John."

He then responds by saying, "Oh Okay well then Mayune um...I am calling to inform you that I wont be able to make it to your wedding."

I respond, "That's okay I had a feeling you wouldn't be able to, so I have a favor to ask would you be able to watch Akiko and train her while we are all gone then the day of the wedding can you live stream it so the both of you can watch."

I wait to hear his response when he says, "Oh, Okay yeah that would be fine but where would I train her?"

I smile into the phone as I say, "I will text you an address if you can meet me there tomorrow and I will show you the room and give you a key and a clicker to gain access to the property. I will also pay for the coast of gas so you don't have to worry. Just bring me receipts and I will personally reimburse you the money."

He then responded, "No you don't have to."

I quickly said with a firmness in my voice, "No I insist John an there is no arguing about this."

I then hear him sigh as if defeated and say, "Fine I will go by the property sometime tomorrow when I am free."

"That is fare and thank you." I say into the phone.

"Have a nice day Mayune." John said

I responded in like, "You as well John." before the line went dead. I then place my phone in my purse before looking over at Akiko to find her watching me. I then spoke to her by saying, "Father John has agreed to train you while everyone else is gone so you wont be alone." I smile as I say this and watch as a small smile appears on her face.

Akiko then asked, "You mean the blond priest that you introduced my to at the church?" Smiling I nod my head at her question she then said something that shocked me, "Okay...that's fine he had a kind aura hes a good person." I glance to the front and find that Meihui is also looking at Akiko in shock as we finally pull up to the church with father James waiting for us.

"I love you Akiko I will see you tomorrow." I say as I unbuckle her and she jumps out of the van before she waves good by to us as she runs to father Jame. I feel slightly sad at the thought that I only get to see her for five more days. Once Akiko and father James are inside the church I close the back door and say, "Alright lets go home. we all need our rest...oh and Meihui please don't say anything about my dress I want the others including Koujo to be surprised when they see it for the first time."

"I completely understand what you are saying and don't worry I won't even tell Dingxiang for I am sure that he will be stunned at how beautiful you look in that dress." says Meihui as she turns around in her seat to face me.

The drive to the house was quick probably because I was thinking about what I needed to pack before I leave. As soon as we pulled up to the house I quickly get out and head to the front door, though just as I am about to open it Sakura opens the door for me and says, "Welcome home mistress Mayune, master Koujo is in the kitchen cooking." At her words I feel myself relax at not having to cook dinner.

Smiling I say, "We're home. I am going to get washed up."

I then hear Koujo say, "Welcome home and see you when you are done." I quietly head to the room and wash my hands and face before changing into a pair of leggings and a over sized top with socks on. I then head back to the kitchen and find Koujo as he is finishing plating the food.

Smiling I walk over to him and quickly place a kiss on his cheek tough as I am about to head to the table he puts his arm around my waist and holds me to him as he whispers, "Evening my love I missed you, how was everything with Kimiko?"

Pulling back I say, "Everything went well...and I missed you too my love." He then slowly released me after placing a kiss on my head.

He then grabbed the plates and placed them on the dinning table, before saying, "Dinner is ready everyone come and eat." Once everyone had finished eating dinner Koujo and I decided to head to bed early. I grabbed my pajamas before heading into the bathroom I took a quick show, and got dressed for bed before taking care of my oral hygiene. After I finished Koujo entered the bathroom and more than likely did the same thing as me because as soon as I exited the bathroom I crawled into be and allowed sleep to consume though I then felt a pull on my body and a warmth against my side I turned and snuggled into it as my world faded to nothingness.
