(Mayune's POV)

Day after wedding

Sitting next to Koujo I look at him and smile as I finish the last of my food and set my plate down and grab a bottle of water. Opening the bottle I take a sip before closing it, as I look at Koujo he turns and looks at me and smiles as he sets his plate down and gets up on his knees. I can tell that he is ready to come towards me when I see one of Meihui's shiki coming towards us. I put my hand up and stop Koujo in his approach. When the shiki Ah came up to us and said, "Lady Mayune my mistress says to check your phone when you can."

I blink at his words and I say, "Okay thank you, well tell Meihui that I will look at it as soon as we go back inside, just tell her we are having a picnic right now." I watch as it moves as if saying okay before leaving.

I look at Koujo and see him watching the shiki leave when he says, "I have a feeling that we should go check and see what she texted you."

I feel a fluttering sensation in my stomach and I say, "Yeah, I think you are right. Lets pack this up and get inside so I can see what she texted me." I start to put things away in the basket. Once everything is inside the basket I get up followed by Koujo and as I am fully standing Koujo pick up the blanket and drapes it over his arm as he holds the basket in his other hand. We both quickly head back up the stairs and as I head towards my room I notice koujo go to the kitchen. I quickly head over to my phone sitting on the bed side table charging, and I smile at the fact that one of the shiki had plugged in my phone so it would charge. I pull my phone off the charger and head back out to the kitchen as I feel as if I should read this in front of him. As I enter the kitchen Koujo looks at me, when I look back down at my phone and unlock my phone showing that I have a text message. I quickly tap the message opening the message center and I click on Meihui's name. As soon as her message opened up, I quickly read the words and I feel a smile settle on my lips as I feel happiness flow through my body and my hand drops to my stomach. I look up at Koujo and see him watching me and I say, "Your mother just told me that we don't have to keep trying for a baby."

I see anger flare in his eyes as he says, "Why, would she tell you that?"

I smile as I say, "She said that because, apparently, through the bonding ceremony some how the bonding ceremony make sure that the female is pregnant once the bond is created. Apparently, it makes it so even if the woman isn't ovulating she will suddenly release an egg, that will automatically fertilized through the bonding ceremony ensuring her pregnancy. So, what I am saying is that your mother is saying that I am already with child, and that you are going to be a father even if we were to keep trying it would be unnecessary because I am already pregnant."

As I speak I see Koujo take in what I am saying and as soon as the last word left my mouth Koujo is on me and lifting me up and spinning me around. As he says, "Your pregnant, I cant wait to hold our child."

I look at him and role my eyes as I say, "Hay we already have a child, don't forget she is important as well."

As I say that I see him look at me as he says, "I know and I won't ignore her or push her off because she isn't related by blood. I am just excited at the fact that we will be having a child that you bare, I am also excited that she wont be alone and that she will have the chance to have a real family." I smile as I feel tears slide down my cheeks. I wrap my hands around his neck and encircle my legs around his hips as his hand come to rest on my but as he holds me up.

I smile as I whisper, "Your going to be a dad, oh god, I am going to be a mom...what if I am not a good mother?" I feel panic rise as I look him in the eye and allow my legs to drop from around him and come to stand on my feet in front of him as he watches me.

As I look him in the eyes he says, "You will be a wonderful mother, I know it because you are an amazing woman who loves with all her heart plus we already love Akiko and you treat her as if she is already our child." I feel him place his hands on my hips as he touches his forehead to mine. I close my eyes as I try to calm myself when i feel his lips touch mine, I open my eyes and see him watching me before he pulls away from me and asks, "Are you okay?"

I smile and shake my head as I say, "Yeah..." I look him in the eyes as I continue to speak and say, "I love you aìrén."

I watch him as a smile graces his lips and he places a hand on my right cheek as he says, "I love you as well aìrén, now and forever."

"Umm..." I nod my head as I lean into his chest causing his hand to fall from my cheek. I breath in his scent as I keep my forehead against his chest and calm myself.

I slowly pull away from his chest as he takes a step back. I watch him as he gets down on his knees in front of me as he places his hands on my hips and places his head against my abdomen. I feel him encircle my waist with his arms as I hear him whisper, "I love you as well, I can't wait to meet you." I feel tears slide down my cheek as I place one of my hands in his hair and run my finger through it drawing attention up to my face. I can tell that I am smiling and I hunch over causing him to loosen his hold on me. I lift his chin slightly as I bend over and claim his lips, I can't help but to smile at that love that I am feeling and the excitement at our future.

(Koujo's POV)

I smile as the kiss ends and I stand up keeping my hands on her waist before pulling my right hand forward to rest on her abdomen where our child is growing. I smile at Mayune as I slowly pull away from her stomach and I grab her hand. I smile as I call out, "Sakura," She quickly appeared and I continued by saying, "Can you please get my laptop Mayune and I have to look up some names and items we might need."

I look at Sakura as she smiles and says, "Yes of course." I watch her as she looks down at Mayune's abdomen before looking back at Mayune and I and saying, "Congratulations masters, I am so happy for the both of you." She then vanished and reappeared moments later with a wide smile on her face as she hands me my laptop.

Glancing down at Mayune before looking back at Sakura and saying, "Thank you, you can rest now." I see her nod her head before disappearing leaving Mayune and I alone to look up what we might need. I pull Mayune to the living room and sit down on the sofa and pull her down next to me. I quickly begin to set up my laptop when Crow appears and sets a TV tray in front of me and grabbing the end of the computers charging cord and plugging it into the wall next to me, before disappearing leaving us alone again. I set my laptop on the tray and open it up and boot it up. As We sit waiting I grab Mayune's hand and give it a squeeze as I glance at her. As soon as I look away from her I find my computer screen ready for me to log in, once I am logged in I release Mayune's hand and slide my arm around her waist and drag her until she is pressed against my body. Once she is flush against my body I slide my arm up and around she shoulders, and I use my other hand to pull the tray in front of both of us so we can both look at it. Mayune and I sit there and look at list of things that are advised for expecting parents. As we look them over Mayune and I slowly make a list of things we deem that we will need, because we won't be getting everything people say to get, we may be rich but we still like to save money. Without either of us noticing time had flown by when suddenly Mayune's phone goes off signaling she had gotten a text. I continue to watch Mayune as she pulls her phone out of her pocket and unlocks it as soon as she looks at the text I see shock come across her face as she gasp. I feel panic come forward and I asks, "Whats wrong."

As soon as the last word leaves my mouth Mayune looks up at me and says, "Your mother says that one of us need to call her or your father." I look at Mayune and nod my signaling for her to call.

I watch as she puts the phone on speaker and allows the phone to ring, on the third ring I hear my mother pick up the phone and say, "Mayune it is good to hear from you."

Mayune then responds by saying, "Yeah it is good to talk to you too. What is it you wanted us to call for?"

I hear the line go silent as my my mother asks, "Is Koujo there listening as well?"

Mayune quickly responds, "Yeah I have it on speaker. Why?"

I hear my mother take a deep breath before saying, "Well it has come to our attention that Akiko is just as strong as or strong than Mayune was when she first came to us and that she is advancing far faster than even she was. Koujo your father believes that Akiko will be able to control all of her abilities withing the next two years. So I am going to create a charm for her using Akiko's moms necklace since she keeps it on her all the time."

As my mother continues to talk I feel shock settle on my face as I look at Mayune and without thinking I say, "Mayune, I am worried...I think we should go back we need to see her development." As I speak Mayune looks up at me and nods her head and I continue to talk by saying, "Crow, Sakura..." They appeared and before they could say anything I say, "Please take the leftovers to the house in Japan where my parents are staying, Mayune and I are going to pack our bags we are heading back to Japan." As I speak I pull up flights to Japan and find two seats on the next available flight to Japan that leave in four hours and I book the seats both Sakura and crow leave to do as they are told before I say,"Okay mom thank you for telling us, we will be back in japan in a few hours I will email you on the plain when we are an hour away from landing, so you and father have enough time to come get us from the airport."

As soon as I say that I hear my mother say, "Okay we will have father Michel drive us there to get you."

Mayune quickly responds, "Okay, oh and just to tell you we have a few of our shiki bringing the left overs from our wedding there right now."

"Oh, that is wonderful can you make sure they bring over some cake Akiko wants to have some she really wanted to try some of it when we asked her about your wedding." Says my mother.

I respond, "Okay, when they get back I will ask them to take some cake back there to the house but to leave our anniversary tier here in the freezer."

I smile as my mother says, "Oh, thank you Koujo, she will be excited especially sense she will get to see you both."

I smile before saying, "Well, we are excited as well see you soon mother tell father that Mayune and I say hello and we will be back soon. Love you both by mom."

"I will see you when you get here. Love you to by." My mother responds before I hear the line go dead.

I look down at Mayune and nod my head as I release her allowing her to get up, I pull my phone out of my back pocket and pull up my email from and screen shot the approval number of our booked tickets. As I get up and follow Mayune as she walks into her room and as we enter I say, "Aìrén, just set my things on the bed I am going to head over to my parents and get my bag and stuff I brought with me. Oh, and remember that we aren't taking your dress or my suit back to Japan so you can leave all of your stuff that you brought in relation to our wedding."

I look at Mayune as she smiles at me before getting up on her toes and kissing my cheek before saying, "I know, now go get your things. I will probably have all of my stuff packed by the time you get back here." I nod my head before leaning down and giving the crown of her head a kiss and leaving back towards my parents house.

(Mayune's POV)

I watch Koujo leave to his parents house through my bedroom door way. I smile and turn around and pull my suitcase out from the closet and start to pack away my things. I quickly finish packing my things and set Koujo's stuff on the bed right as I hear him walk back into my house. I smile as I stand up and look to my bedroom door way and find him standing there watching me. As soon as we make eye contact Koujo starts to walk towards me and once he is directly in front of me he leans down and places a soft kiss on my lips. As soon as we part from our kiss, I watch Koujo as he grabs his things off the bed before walking out of the room I slowly follow behind him as I drag my suitcase behind me until we reach the living room. I slide my suitcase up next to the wall in the hallway connected to the living room before turning to watch Koujo. As I watch Koujo puts away his stuff in his bag and as soon as he finished putting his things in his bag he closes it and slides it up next to mine. I smile and lean into him as he rest against the wall, as I lean into him he wraps his arm around me holding me flush against his body.

"Mayune..." Koujo says as he rubs my hip with right hand.

I respond, "Humm..."

Leaning with my head on his chest I hear him breath before he says, "You know, I am still worried how Akiko will react when she finds out that she is going to be an older sister."

I slowly let my smile drop as I step away from him and place my left hand on his chest as I say, "If you are really that worried, we can ask her when we see her tomorrow okay, so don't worry I am sure that she is going to be excited to be an older sibling." I look him in the eyes as he nods his head before looking away and looking around my house before saying, "You know we are going to need to register the baby for duel citizenship once it is born."

I look at Koujo's face as he looks at my living room before looking back at me and saying, "That sounds like a plan and yeah I know that we will have to do that, I want to be able to travel with out children once they are born."

Smiling I lean into his chest just as Sakura appears and says, "Masters we have taken the food to the other house is there anything else you need us to do?"

I look at Sakura and then Crow appears but I continue to address Sakura by saying, "Good, did you take some cake there as well? If not take some there and just leave our anniversary tear here."

I see Sakura smile as she says, "Understood mistress, I will get it done."

Then as soon as Sakura disappeared I look at Crow and asks, "Crow, would you be able to do something for me while we are gone?"

"Yes mistress, what is it you need me to do?" Crow says as he watches my movement with a small smile on his lips.

I smile as I open the closet next to Koujo and pull out a preservation box, and hand it to him as I say, "Can you please make sure that you send my dress to the company on the label here so it can be preserved, the instruction on how to get it to them are also on the paper attached this box."

"Most certainly mistress, is there anything else you need done while you are away?" Asks Crow as he grabs the box from my hand and slips it under his arm holding it against his body.

I nod my head and say, "En, Zen..." I wait a few seconds until they appear and I look at them both and say, "Can you two guard the houses while we are away?"

"Yes we would be honored to." Says, Zen as he bow to me before standing back up straight as he looks at me.

I then look at Crow and say, "You and Sakura are two of the strongest shiki that either Koujo and I have so we need you to be with us encase we get into trouble. I am sorry En, Zen, if it seems as if we think you are weak, but that is not how we feel we think all of you are strong. It's just that Crow and Sakura are far older, and it is also the fact that they are demons, which means that some or most spirits won't attack us because they can emit their powerful aura. Though once Koujo's parents return, you can come back to us, any one of you shiki will be sent here every other week until we return as well. We are actually going to be switching you shiki out every week so you two wont be here every day. So please do not feel down about this." I look at them both and see some sadness as I started to talk again until I explained why Crow and Sakura were needed, and that they wont be away from us for ever, and that other shiki will have to do the task as well. I see understanding settle in their eyes as I look at them as soon as I finish speaking.

As soon as the last word left my mouth En says, "We understand my masters so please don't worry we will do as you asked."

I smile as Koujo says, "Thank you." I turn away from him and pull out my phone and call a taxi telling them where we are.

Soon after I the taxis estimated time of arrival, I turn and look at Koujo and say, "They will be here in ten minuets." I then talk back into my phone and say, "Okay thank you see you when you get here."

I smile as I hear the man on the other side of the line say, "No problem Mrs. Lin." soon after he said that the line went dead signaling the end of the phone call.

I turn around and do a double check to make sure I didn't leave anything that I need to bring home as I walk into the living room I find Koujo on the phone and hear him say, "Yes, please come once a week to do the cleaning while both my parents and my wife are away. Thank you, and we will tell you when we will be returning, oh and please make sure to get rid of any spoiled food...yes, thank you, you have a good day as well bye now." he then hung up as I place my hands on my hips as he turns towards me and says, "What I want to come back to a clean house I also want my parents to come back to theirs being clean as well." I roll my eyes before turning away from him not letting him see me smile as I walk to my room.

I start my double check of the bedroom when I sense him come into the room and quietly walk up behind me. I smile and say, "You know you cant sneak up on me anymore stop trying." and I quickly turn around as he is right behind me. I place my hands on his chest as get up on my toes and place a soft kiss on his cheek, before settling back down fully on my feet.

"I thought you were up set that I was having that done without telling you." Koujo says as he looks me in the eyes while placing his hands on my hips.

I roll my eyes before saying, "I wasn't upset, I actually wanted you to follow me so I made you think I was." I rub his left cheek with my right hand and I continue by saying, "I just want to be in your arms right now and until the taxi arrives. So I am going to say this once aìrén and you better listen..." I see him nod his head as he smiles slightly and I continue by saying, "now kiss me."

As soon as the word left my mouth I see his eyes widen before his smile grows as he says, "Of course aìrén it is my pleasure." He the leaned down and captures my lips in an intense kiss,while pulling my body flush with his.

I smile and kiss back with just as much force, after a little bit I pull away and smile as I say, "Come on the taxi must be here." As soon as I said that my cell went off and I quickly answer it and hear the driver say, Mrs. Lin this is the taxi you call for I am sitting out side you house right no please come out."

I smile and respond, "Okay we will be out shortly." I then end the call and look at Koujo and say, "The taxi is here lets go."

"Of course you were correct, alright get your purse and coat, I will grab our bags." Koujo says as he slips his jacket on before walking out the bedroom door. I quickly slip on my jacket that was hanging on the wall before leaving my room and heading towards the living room to grab my purse. As soon as I spot it, I pull my phone out of my pocket and drop it in the main pocket and pick it up slipping it on my arm and heading to the front door where Koujo stands waiting for me. I smile at him as he exits the house pulling our luggage out and heads to the taxi. I turn around and lock the front door after closing it and turn and head towards the taxi where Koujo stands holding the back door open for me as the driver closes the trunk and goes to the drivers seat and gets in.

I slip inside the taxi and scoot to the other side of the vehicle as Koujo joins me in the back and I quickly buckle up before the drive starts to head to the airport. I look over at Koujo as I slip my hand into his and intertwine our fingers while watching the scenery pass us by until we reach the airport. Once there Koujo quickly paid the driver and got out with me following behind him and we got to the truck as the driver is opening it, we get our bags and say our good byes to the driver before heading inside. Once in the airport we head over to the nearest e-ticket kiosk, Koujo then scans the confirmation bar he got in his email after purchasing the tickets. The tickets were quickly printed, and so we headed to the first class waiting area. After twenty minuets we left there after drinking some tea and grabbing a few closed items and heading to security, once going through security we were loaded onto our flight. As soon as we enter the plane we are led to our seats, Koujo on the other side of the isle as the flight attendant directs us to ours next to one another. I smile as I lean over and give him a kiss after making the wall separator go down. I smile and sit in my seat and buckle up, withing the hour the flight was already taking off and within moments after the seat belt sign turned off I find myself falling asleep. I woke a few hours later about an hour before the flight would land. Looking at Koujo I find him eating and looking at the news on the screen in front of him. I signal the flight attendant and once she is next to me I smile at her and say, "Can I please have some fresh fruit and some orange juice, and a glass of water and maybe a muffin or something light please, oh and some lily coffee with some creamers and sugar packets brought to me."

She smiles at me and says, "Yes, right away."

She then left and I looked at Koujo and leaned over as I get up I whisper, "Good morning." I then kiss his cheek before sitting back down and after a few moments the attendant returns with my food and hands me my stuff after I pull my tray out. She then handed me a bottle of water and then placed the rest of my stuff in front of me. I smile and look up at her and say, "Thank you."

"No problem miss, please enjoy your meal." She said as she smiles at me before leaving us alone for me to eat. I eat all my food, and finally all that is left is my coffee. While I work on making my coffee taste the way I want, an attendant came up and took away my tray with my finished food. I slowly finished my coffee before getting up and head to the bathroom with the complementary amenities kit, I use the toilet then wash my hands and then brush my teeth, wash my face,do the daily facial care provided in the bathroom, and lastly comb out my hair before leaving the bathroom to head back to my seat waiting for the flight to land.

As soon as I sit back down in my seat I ask Koujo, "When did you get up and why didn't you wake me? Lastly what have you been us too." I allow my curiosity to lace my voice as I look at him. All while flirting with him at.

Koujo then turns and looks at me as he smiles and says, "I got up about an hour before you, and I wanted you to sleep you looked tired, so before I ate I used the facilities." He then looked at me and said, "Then after my food was brought to me and I was halfway through eating you woke up and after I finished eating I went and brushed my teeth before coming back to sit down. I did that while you were eating breakfast and that is what I have been up to."

I smile as I put my arm up on the divider between the two of us and he places his us there as well before I say, "Well it sounds like you have had a productive morning and I want to thank you for letting me sleep." I pull his hand towards my mouth and give the back of his hand a kiss before setting it back down on the divider calmly watching the new he had put on for me while I had been eating. Soon we were on the ground and leaving the plane. I quickly sent a text to Koujo's parents telling that we have landed and that I was sorry for not telling them before we landed.

Soon after I sent the text my phone starts to ring. I see the it is Dingxiang Koujo's father calling I quickly answer it and say, "Gōnggong, its good to hear from you sorry for not telling you sooner that we would be land now."

I hear Dingxiang say, "Mayune, we were prepared encase you forgot we actually called the airport and hour ago to ask when your flight would be landing and they told us once you get inside the building head to the exit you will see us waiting for you two."

I smile as I allow myself to laugh while pulling my suitcase behind me and Koujo next to me doing the same and I say, "Okay, well see you soon bye." After hanging up I look at Koujo and say, "They are already here, they are waiting for us at the front exit."

"Okay, well then lets go." Koujo smiles at me as we continue to walk.

As soon as we get to the front exit I spot his parents and father Michel and say, "There they are, come on they must be going to get Akiko after they pick us up." We both rush over to the and as after our greetings we all load into the van and head to get Akiko. I look at Meihui and asks, "So did you make the charm already?"

Meihui turns and looks at me as she says, "Yes, here it is." she then held up the necklace that Akiko cherishes.

Smiling I look from it to Meihui as I say, "Thank you."

"Oh child this was no problem, and thank you for adopting such a wonderful child." she says as she looks at me before I see excitement form in her eyes as she asks excitedly, "So have you two chosen any names yet?"

I feel my eyes go wide as I say, "Goodness Meihui, we barely found out about it we have eight months to decide. give us some time." I smile as I look at her as she shrugs her shoulders. As I turn to look out the window I see we are pulling up to the church and Akiko and father James are both standing there waiting. Soon as the van stopped I opened the door and as soon as Akiko saw me she started to run to me I quickly kneel down allowing her body to collide with mine as I encompass her in a hug and say, "Oh, Akiko...it is so good to see you again, I missed you so much."

As I hold Akiko I hear cry, "Mommy...mommy I missed you."

I smile and let my tears fall as I feel Koujo join in the hug as well. Slowly I release her and she turns and gives Koujo a hug and he picks her up while telling her that he missed her and that he loves her. I look at father James as I get up and say, "Thank you again, for allowing us to take her off sit to train her."

"It is no problem Miss Lau oh I mean Mrs. Lin." says father James as he smiles at us before bowing slightly and continuing by saying, "Oh and congratulations on your marriage."

I smile at him and say, "Thank you so much, well we will have her back before three today."

He smiles then says, "That is fine, see you then."
