Chapter 48

Today the lionesses brought back a wildebeest, and from the looks of it. It was a healthy one. Nuka wondered how far they had to go to find today's dinner.

"psss…big brother." His brown ear twitched in the direction of his sister. Who was annoyingly inching her way closer to his side. "they are going to eat everything Nuka I'm starving…." She inched forward until the top of her head reached his shoulder. "they take forever to get here and then they get to eat first, that's not fair."

" you have to wait Shia."

"Why? They wouldn't dare do anything, they aren't stupid." He ignored her. Ignorance was bliss for her right now. Shia didn't remember a thing from the failed takeover when she was a young cub. and her brother didn't feel the need to tell her, because it would never happen to their family again. Nuka sent his only eye to watch for any changing reactions from the lionesses. When a solid 10 minutes went by Nuka felt confident that they, well he was safe to eat.

As he walked forward with Shia right in toe, his mother and her pride sister too followed right behind. The pride land lionesses began to walk back, to watch their …king eat.

The three lionesses stopped at the kill to eat. The two lionesses Shia and Jama were too distracted eating to realize their king had not joined them. The only one who did pay attention was his mother.

Zira stood by quietly to the far right, out of his sight. Why wasn't he eating? Who was he looking at? It didn't take her long to figure out who had her son's attention.

Nala sat quietly behind the pride. Trying her best to remain in the evening shadows of her family who sat in front of her. but her adverting eyes always knew he was watching.

" come eat." His voice was low. He then sat patiently waiting for her to join. The two lionesses stopped eating the looked to Nuka to see who in the world he was talking to. "Nala come eat."

Her ears immediately pinned to the back of her head. She hated having attention brought to her. Nala breathing caught in her throat. She could feel her mother's eyes, her pride sister eyes, Zira eyes and especially his eyes all on her.

Why couldn't she just disappear and be left alone? To vanish into thin air, would be the greatest gift for her. she needed it. Her eyes slowly rose from the ground to see, everyone looking at her.

Her throat was dry and her voice was practically non-existence.

"….ugh…..i…im not hungry. T-thank you-"

"I said come eat."

Her paws felt glued to the ground. But the feeling of being frozen didn't matter, He had so much control over her. the fear her body had for him alone would make her walk over to him. she hated it, she hated herself.

"..i..-"

"why? She said she wasn't hungry son. Why bother?" Zira hated when ever Nuka went out of this way to help the pridelands lionesses. Especially the lioness who seems to have her son's, whole heart. And on a string at that. The lioness didn't love her son, how could she? She'd be crazy to.

His behavior or not, that was her son, whose heart was being 'played with'. At least that was what it seemed to feel like for her. her son knew this. Nuka had grown greatly tried of the conversation with his mother, whenever Nala was brought up. Sure she was his first love and first 'time' but simple feelings of the heart mean nothing.

and especially his heart. honestly, could he truly love a lioness he mentally and sexually tortures all the time. that would even be too sick for her to stomach. Nuka was much more in love with the control he had over her, that's all. yet still Zira would voice her disclaimer and like always whenever he heard his mother speak, he didn't look at her when he responded.

"she's apart of this pride, so she'll eat." And that only was clearly enough reason for Nuka. Nala felt her voice slowly creep back into her throat as she tried to reason with him.

"…but i…I…..didn't help…I sh-shouldn't-"

"nonsense, now come eat." His voice still carried a nice tone, but she knew not the push his generosity any further. The lioness inched passed her pride sisters to her king.

Leaving whispers and glares in her path. She didn't dare look in the direction of her mother. That would kill her.

Nuka smiled kindly at her. as she timidly forced herself to eat the meat that was before her. Her lips quivered, her nerves were getting to her. she fought to keep herself from vomiting, she steadied her breathing to keep the hyperventilating at bay.

Her body felt like it was being crushed by a boulder while she ate under his watchful gaze.

"Tomorrow you all know what is happening correct?" good he was talking, maybe he wouldn't noticed that she stopped eating. Not that she ever was. She was just chewing raw meat in a dry mouth.

If they were supposed to respond to him, they made sure to do it appropriately. By not saying anything at all. Rumor had been said while the lionesses were away on the hunt that Nuka wanted to continue his father's plans.

For what they knew the Mountain pride territory could be heaven compared to the shambles of what the pridelands. This move…this takeover -which it would for sure be, may be in the benefit for them. And maybe just maybe a chance to escape?

"we will be leaving tomorrow morning for the Mountain pride, and early. It'll be a days journey so I suggest you get restful sleep. They'll be no stopping. And remember this is our first impression we want to be welcomed into the mountain pride full-heartedly."

Full heartedly, if that was really what Nuka wanted to call this. Then the lionesses would full-heartedly follow their king, and hopefully not to their demise.

After his strange encounter with the forest lunatic, Simba tried to get the sleep he so desperately craved. Instead of staying out he went back to the den he shared with Kenya.

Yet something was off, instead of sleep overcoming him. All Simba could think about was that annoying voice, ringing in the back of his ear. Not to mention his eye still strung from being hit.

It was like he couldn't help but think of it. Stupid lunatic.

"There you are, I wasn't expecting to find you here. I thought you'd still be out with my father."

"I would but, a sane lion can only handle your father for a certain amount of time." He joked getting up.

"well, I could agree with that. You had no idea what it was like growing up with him. If you think he's crazy now you have no idea. Well, anyways we're just getting back. Hopefully, we didn't take too long. That gazelle gave us a time."

"no, you're fine. Everything went okay I hoped."

"Kleo sprained her paw trying something new, but besides that. Everything went fine."

"ouch, what did she try to do?"

"some tackle technique she saw Kali do and shes obsessed with trying it herself. We told her the gazelle was not the animal to try something new on. They are too fast and agile. But the youth never listen so it's fine." The freckled lioness nuzzled her lover. "mmm I'm beat, wake me up in 10 minutes."She collapsed on the floor beneath him rolling onto her back. "wake me if you need anything…"

"Really, how could I possibly let you sleep when you look like that."

"like what, tired?" Simba laughed and hovered over her until their muzzles were only inches apart. "whats with that look?"

"you miss me?"

"well with a handsome face like that looking down on me like that, how could I not? Ha, what do you want?"

"Hmm, how much do you miss me? Because I missed you a whole lot today." He leaned in nuzzling her soft. He was immediately hit with a hot warmth from her smooth fur. His eyes dazzled as he looked at her. "when do you think anyone will be expecting us?"

"well with the way you're looking at me, not any time soon…but we shouldn't make this a habit, if my father were to find out.." he'd be dead. A part of Simba knew this, but he couldn't think about that in a time like this. It'd be too distracting. The orange lion could feel a small pinch along the length of his body as Kenya dug her claws into his side, bringing him more onto her.

"Good, you've spent some nice quality time with your sisters now it's time to spend some quality time with me."

"oh I can't wait, you're so annoying Simba."

"But you love me."

"ugh, I do love you…I must to be able to put up with you."

Their bodies felt enveloped with the sensations of passion and lust. As the space between them became nonexistence. With their bodies coming together becoming one. Now that little voice inside his head didn't seem to pester him so much.

He had returned to the safety of the tree he had been residing in for the past weeks. It was nothing like his tree in the pridelands but this would have to do. The mandrill had brought what was of the upmost importance to him and to what the kings demanded.

he placed an armful of new fruits onto the tree floor. These fruit this time were a little harder, and knowing how that boy was everything like his father he would need a few hard-hitting interactions to get his attention.

"aye, he turned into ya fine lion Mufasa, meh can see it. Jus be patience with meh, will get him bac home soon enuf."

A cool breeze passed though the mandrill. This land was new and refreshing. Everything the pridelands were not. He had no past here, only a future. Yet for some lions destined for greatness there past is their future. The hard part now would be convincing him of that.

okay, that's it for this chapter, nothing big I don't think. just getting ready for the move and then once we get everyone in the same den, it's about to go down!
