"That is not how it happened!"I could hear Kenya and her sisters from a mile away. They were definitely arguing about something. About what I don't know, i've been napping this whole time, while they left to go hunt. Their father Kye went off somewhere to kings know where.

"what? it was too, I was watching you Kleo- you were right in front of!"

"Those big eyes of your saw wrong then."

"Honestly... it doesn't matter." that was Kali, she was the voice of reason among the three girls. but even I could hear she too was a bit irritated. What had happened during the hunt? I rolled over to my stomach before they came. I didn't want it to seem like I was going nothing while they were done, which was exactly what I was doing. but I know better than to look like I'm not doing anything.

That's an easy way to start a fight with a lioness, especially one who came back from the hunt. and from the looks of it, it wasn't successful.

"Hey babe, what happened?" Kali was leaning on Kenya for support, while Kleo walked close by. well, I guess on got my answer.

"Oh, nothing-"

"Kleo was over here trying to outshine everyone in the hunt and got Kali hunt."

".. I was not!" argued Kleo, and turned to see. Like I was going to see things from her perspective I guess." Simba I was trying a new tackle maneuvered I learned and-"

"Yea learned and arent good at. and because she couldn't wait and use common sense i repeat Kali got hurt."

"Correction I didn't get hurt i- Ow! you don't have to drop me so hard!"

"Oops, I thought you weren't hurt." rolling her eyes my girlfriend came walking over to me. " just take me and lets run away..."

"I'm sorry babe, I can't do that. Your father would kill me."

"look I said I was sorry."

"that's doesn't matter Kleo, you should have known better, it's not like you're some cub now. Now you've ruined the evening hunt."

"Kenya relax it's not a big deal," I said that and I soon regret saying it. The look she gave me was... a look no boyfriends wants to see on his girlfriend's face.

"there you go too, don't baby her she needs to take responsibility!"

"I am! geeze Kenya wants more do you want from me I said sorry. it's not like I can go back in time and stop what happened."

"see there she goes, not taking responsibility."

"Kenya, love, I really think it's you-"

"Don't say it, Kali." I've never seen Kenya this mad before, over anything. " just don't." she got up and walked passed me. leaving us all bewildered at what the hell just happened.

"She'll get over it soon. she's just in one of her moods." Kali informed me.

"Moods?" I asked. I've known this lioness a whole year, and I've never seen her in one of her moods. Kenya the most down to earth, relaxed lioness I know. she never gets worked up like this over nothing.

"Yea." Kleo seconded. " her annoying, I feel so suffocated, I need to leave mood. She has them all the time. every month to be exact."

"really, then hoe comes I've never seen them?"

"I don't know. You probably distracted her from it. She used to think a lot about leaving before you got here. she said she needed to leave and explore and-"

"Point is, she's fine Simba. there's no need to worry." Kali sat up some. " Though she does have a point. You should have known better trying a risky move like that. And you knew how I would freak out not knowing you were going to try it."

"Of course I couldn't tell you I 'know you freak out."

"duh, you're still a novice Kleo."

"Now you're taking her side! oh great!"

"I'm, the older sister I don't take sides. My job is to just keep you two from killing each other. isn't that right Simba."

"I would have to agree."

"Well good job boss, we're both still living. ugh. I'm going to go find dad and tell him what happened. I'll be back."

"Okay." we both watched little Kleo saunter off. they were right she'sno cub. but still, two years is still a novice when trying to hunt. I know they have to use her because they don't have the numbers.

"I think I'm going to go find your sister, just to make sure she's still not plotting to run and leave."

"sounds good. I'm just going to sit here because I can't move- and don't think of helping me. I need this little break to do nothing."

" Right sounds good."

It didn't take me long to find Kenya.I've learned her movements are pretty predictable. She either at the river or under the hanging tree. Since I have the pass the hanging tree to get the river. I knew she had to be there.

"knock knock...am I interrupting anything?"

"ugh no, just me sitting here by myself thinking."

"Mind if I join you."

"No problem." I went and leaned next to her. she rested her head on my shoulders. and sighed.

"I know I lost it today sorry. I know you've never seen me like that."

"That's okay, it's just another first for us as a couple ."

"I know I overreacted but she just gets me so mad, they all do."

"Well, that's family for you."

"No that's sisters for you...i love them to death but. I don't want to stay here."

"I get it, you're upset and that seems like the best option right now and-"

"No Simba I'm serious I want to leave." wait, leave...as in leave leave? I turned to face Kenya. it was written all over her face. She was telling the truth.

"Doesn't that seem a little hushed? I mean you can tup a leave your family."

"Why not? isn't that what you told me you did when you left your family?"

"My situation was very different than yours. you actually have a family that loves and supports you."

" That still doesn't make it any easier to live with them. Admit it! I'll always be Kali little sisters and someone she'll forever talk down to. Kleo will make it her life's mission to test every good nerve in my body and dad...when dads not stealing you away to help him. He's getting in the way of US. Sometimes not having to sneak away or wait until everyone is gone to have some alone time would be nice."

"I get that, but leave really leave Kenya. That's a big move"

"Simba I have thought about it, I've been thinking about it for a while. I know it's a big step but how are we suppose to get closer in our relationship if their3 extra members in the picture? ugh...I just want to live with you. live with you and start our own little family and live a happy life."

"wait for family, Kenya you're-" thank the kings... that was going to be terrible trying to explain this away from her dad.

"Relax I'm not pregnant. at least not yet. Simba what happens when I want to start a family. We're going to do it under my dad den?"

"No not exactly, but we have a while for that don't you think."

"yea, but what if I wanted to start a family now. Are you saying you wouldn't have one with me?"

"No, it;'s not that...it's just...wow this is a lot right now Kenya."

"It's not a lot if you're the only one thinking about it all the time..." I felt her push away from me, and that was the last thing I wanted her to do right now. okay... I just needed a second to think. What she's saying it's true...we do need our own space together.

"Babe you're right. Maybe it is time we...thought about leaving and making a way for ourselves."

"Definitely some you'll think about?"

"Yes."

"Thank you! this is all work out fine I know it. we'll be great together and great parents and...what wrong baby?" now I found myself pulling away. great. she just had to mention starting a family...

"Nothing...it just. you know I didn't have my dad in my life. what if...i'm just not cut out to be one."

"Simba that's crazy. you'd be an amazing father."

"I doubt that. I wasn't even close to my own mother. The last time I saw her was when we fought. family life...just ain't for me Kenya."

"I don't believe that. It's just something scary for you because you're not comfortable with it. As soon as become a father you'll be a natural."

"Maybe you're right..."

"I know I will be. I can't wait. So we'll talk about leaving to my dad then?" why do i having a feeling i might regeat saying this. I'd have to ignore that feeling because it wants Kenya wants. And all I want to do is make her happy, it's the least I could do for all that she's done for me.

" Yes, bright and early tomorrow."

"Ahhh! Thank you, Simba I love you so much!"

"I love you too ken."

KawaiiCutie12- yea too little too late, but you can't kill her for trying... or at least trying. and yup Nala really messed up, but as you mentioned his name, Simba did appear lol. living his best life right.

Arika Koski- yes if this was a film it would be rated R- even if it has Disney characters.

Wolf heart 22- thank you I'm playing these two plot twist idea that I got after writing that Nala and Sarafina scene... it's involving some of Vitani lioness so we'll see.

RyanSquad-Man after your last comment I had to look and see when I started this fanfic. You are right I've been trying to finish this for 3 damn years! it will be finished this year! within a few months lol.
