With everyone gone for the morning hunt, I can finally get to business. "No one saw you come in right?" I asked the two greys spotted Hyenas. They were panting hard, they probably arrived in the territory a few minutes ago.

"Not a soul boss, Bones and I came in from the other broader. it was hard climbing those steep cliff sides, but we made it."

"Good."

"How's everything holding up at pride rock?"

"mmm not so good boss, I hate to say it, but some of the pack left pride rock soon after you left. They thought you had abandoned us. But I knew better I knew, you didn't." well I did abandon them, hell all of them. I knew once I told the hyenas they weren't allowed to come with us they'd soon turn and leave. good too, there were far too many of them to sustain. Not enough died during the takeover, and only a few died of starvation that I know of.

They stayed there out of fear of me. I still kept tabs with a few, because I know I'll need the numbers when I take over this pride. My pride in no shape to take on mountain lionesses, and I'm not a fool I know when it comes to terms my pride will turn on me and join their side. So I have to paly my moves accordingly.

"I'm glad to see I still have a few loyal friends. How many did you say there are?"

"Seven, including me and Bones." hmm, that sizes is low enough to not be detected when traveling into the territory, and yet large enough to give me back up and give the lionesses a hard time. and with Kijivu not being in the picture it'll weaken everyone and be perfect. "Will that be enough to help boss?"

"That'll be fine, give word to the other 5 to be ready to move at any given moment. It won't be long now. Everything is already in place."

"Right boss, we'll keep in touch."

"Good." Now time to see my sister, you know to have my back story set up. Rounding the corner I could hear my sister snoring before I saw her laying down, dead under a tree. "Hey wake up furball."

"Says you, you weren't the one just knocked on the head! what do you want Nuka?" hmm, the only time my sisters isn't annoyingly up my ass, is when she's napping.

"I've been with you all morning got it." I saw her ear twitch in the direction of my voice, as she laid her head back down, facing the other way. "Shia-"

"Hmm, sure whatever. you've been with me all day- just let me go back t sleep."

"Nice talking to ya kid."

"Whatever..." Then I remembered something. I turned to look at my sister. she hadn't moved an inch. Just so fucking lazy. "what... I can feel you looking at me?"

" Yea, whatever, when you see him walking around, get keep him busy okay."

"Huh? what do you mean?" ugh do I have to explain everything, oh yes I do, because no one else is capable of thinking of themselves.

" Take the cub of a walk, teach him something, anything hell, just keep the brat distracted for me."

"Why am I stuck babysitting? no fair. I don't even know him."

"Then get to know him."

"hmmm, why don't you ask mom?"

"Because I don't need mom, I need you to do this for me okay."

"If I do this for you, then you'll hang out with me more? Nuka your always ignoring me." there she goes, being a pain in the ass. what the hell is it with little sisters wanting to spend time with their older brother? for what? we have nothing in common, I don't like you as a friend. I only tolerate you because you're family. hell just be please about being related to me and give it a rest damn. "Hellooooo?"

"Whatever Shia, you keep the brat I'll spend a whole day with you."

"Deal. Now leave me. I still need my beauty sleep." uh, whatever. I have to go check on my dear older Brother Kijivu and see how he's holding up. You know, with the sudden loss of a father it could give any sane and respectable lion...insane.

Guest, they will grow their friendship, I don't know if it will be romantic of just on a friend based level. I'll have to feel those scenes out when they come.

KawaiiCutie12, yea, it took Zira longer to realize how bad she was and how her life and kids' life were. Now seeing Vitani with her own baby probably has her thinking she wants to start a healthy relationship with her now. Because Vitani not paying her mother any attention.
