"No, not yet, we've only just begun to get close Kijivu. I personally feel that I've been the load lifted from your shoulders." I watched him nodded his head from behind me. we had been walking for about an hour now. I could tell he was getting antsy, wanting to return home. Like it wouldn't be there when he got back. " besides we're almost there, there is a beautiful riven that overlooks a site that is worth dying to see over.

"Sure, it won't take too long right? we'd better be getting back Vitani and the other lionesses will be returning soon. I'd hate to have them wait on us."

"We'll be there at any time now." Damn, I sure hope so, all these damn rocks and cliff look the same to me. I know I'd be one pissed lion if I ended up passing the riven. It's literally a steep cliff that runs right off the side of the mountain. Damn near took my ass out, and would have if I hadn't been paying attention. The last thing I want is for Kijivu to return home...alive. "but keep talking to me."

"I think I've told you pretty much everything."

"No really? it hasn't been that long has it? there has to be something else?" as my eyes darted alone, nothing stuck out to me that I would remember. how the hell do they even live here? fuck, now I'm started to get pissed off. I just want him dead already! and I'm about to just do it with my own paws... I can come up with a good reason. We were attacked by rouge, and I was the only one that got away...in a sudden turn of madness, he attacked me. fuck, anything at this point. I'm getting desperate. This needs to be now!

"How's married life then? I assume you've only been married once. you don't seem like the lion to go through something like that twice or a third time."

"Here we are." I stood aside for, a nodded for Kijivu to walk forward. "Take a look, beautiful isn't it. Worth to die for."

"Wow, this is beautiful. I don't think I've even seen this part of the territory. how did you find this place Nuka?"

"I like to walk and take time for myself. I stumbled upon this the other day and I had to share it with someone." Kijivu gawked and aww. it looked like a never-ending horizon. water collected at the bottom of the riven. I kicked a small pebble down the cliffside. I could faintly hear the sound of it splashing. Now times that for a 600 lbs lion. Hearing the body's impact on the water will be loud, but not loud enough to cause attention. Not that we're getting any being all the way out here. It was perfect.

"Nuka, thank you for being here with me. I meant it. you've been nothing but welcomed here. honestly, between you and me, I couldn't understand what the problem was with Vitani and having you and the pride come here. She was so worried, and I told her she was really making a big deal out of something that wasn't happening."

"Oh that, nothing more than sibling rivalry I suppose. you know, which kingdoms the best. we've always had a healthy sibling rivalry between us."

"You're her twin right?."

"Yup born only a few minutes apart."

"You two are close then?"

"Thick as thieves." something was telling me Kijivu still had something he had to get off his chest. Look I may be extreme, but who am I to not hear the lions last words. "Why what's up with you and my sister? Something seems to be up, right?"

"Hmm, am I easy to read? Vitani always tells me I am."

" You're an honest king, I can tell you that."

"She's hiding something from me. she thinks I don't know what it is, but I do. I was hoping she's eventually come to terms and tell me, but I don't think that's going to happen. it's already been three months." oh anything involving my sister is something the king should know, right?

"What do you mean?" I could see Kijivu was having a fight within himself to tell me. " Look you can tell me, especially if it involves my little sister?" Kijivu took a breath and I was not ready for the response he gave me.

" You're sister cheated on me. I've come to terms with it, but I was hoping you could convince her to talk to me."

"What wait?"

" She had been doing it for a few months, I didn't catch onto after a while. not until our son was born." Mind blown. Oh shit, I might have to keep him around a little longer.

" So you're saying..."

"Yes, Roho isn't mine." we both stood there not saying anything for the moment. Me because, well fuck, I was too stunned. I mean I had an off feeling about the brat when I saw him, he looked nothing like my sister really. but damn, cheating.

"a...and you're okay with this?"

"With her keeping the truth form me no, not really. But us having a cub a son for that matter. How mad can I be mad at her." What the fuck is wrong with his guy, hell I'd have her shamed and killed and the cub thrown in the waterhole. " Don't think I just stood by and let it happen. Once I found out, I had the lion banished. No word, no warning, no explanation. Although, I'm sure Jelani didn't need one. He knew." damn the bastard even knows the lion's name.

"You think I can get my sister to confess to a crime?"

"hmm, no harm no foul." his voice was no nonchalant. Like he didn't even care.

"How the hell can you say that? She lied to you, cheated, and birthed a cub that isn't even your, raising him right under your nose. and she doesn't get punished for it? How the hell do you run this kingdom?"

"I get why she did it. hell if I was in her paws, a lot younger and forced to be with a guy I didn't know. I'd do the same thing too. but I can tell it gets to her. Vitani probably wants to tell me the truth, but she doesn't know how."

"Still...how the fuck are you not mad?"

" When you're my age Nuka most things that you think you'd cause trouble, in the end really don't. they'll work themselves out, especially if you love each other."

"Oh please, you think my sister loves you?" is this lion stupid?

"In love with me? no, no she was in love with someone else, and probably still is. I know she has love for me, but most importantly our son. That's all that matters to me."

"You're either brave or stupidly in love."

"I guess I'm a bit of both." he then turned to me a smiled. It was warm and soft. still not enough to save his life though. " You know, what really bothered me after my father's death was realizing my own mortality. I use to think I could live on forever, nothing could stop me. but nothing gives you more of a reality check then watching someone you love die. it doesn't help me either knowing I'm much older than you 're sister, and I'll be forced to leave her and my son. Which is also another reason why I wanted you to come here."

"What reason is that?"

"When it's my time to go. I want you to co-rule with Vitani and help her until she's able to handle it on her own. I love your sister and I want to make sure she and my son are looked after. I know you may or may not be the closest, but could you do that for me? king to king?" shit...if I didn't want him dead, I'd be touched.

"You have my word brother, I'll look after Vitani, your son and the pride for you as soon as you die."

"haha thank you, but don't worry you'll have time before that comes."

"Hmm, not quite."

"Huh- Argh!" I rammed my left side into Kijivu front. I was expecting him to go toppling over the cliffside, kings...I didn't expect the lion to have such a heavy ass mass to him! " What the hell are you going?!"

"Can't you see, I'm trying to kill you!" we tussled back and forth, and I had to make sure I watched my footing. If not, then we'd both we falling to your deaths. Damn, he was heavy...fuck! Time to cheat. Stealing a play from Nala's book, I landed my right paw right to his eye. sinking it into the flesh.

"Arghh!" he stumbled back, grabbing his eye, blood was rushing down his face and I took my chance. I ran at him, head-butting him as hard as I could. I could hear a fucking cracking my own head from the impact. it felt me dazed for a few seconds. when I came to, I found Kijivu hanging on the side of the cliff for deal life. Hmm, I wonder if this looked similar to when my dad killed his brother in the gorge. he was always so vivid when he told that story. "...n-Nuka! Nuka stop this!"

"Hmm, kinda too late for that, I already told you my plan. oh what no I didn't!" I leaned over the side on the riven. his back legs were working overtime to pull him up, but I knew it didn't have that much fight in him. " My sister was right you know, you should not have trusted me. she can't stand my guts, but this is my plan for your kingdom, mean MY new kingdom. look I didn't have anything planned too drastic. I kill you, take over your pride, and kill any other lions who objects my rule. oh, I forgot, I do have some buddies coming over from the pride lands to help me with that. Look pal, my pride hates my guts they just see me as a killer or a rapist. which I don't deny. so o had to take precautions, you understand? And after today's surprising news, with Vitani and Roho...shit I just don't if I can sleep at night peacefully, knowing she cheated on you. MY brother. and nothing has happened to her...it just don't seem right, as a male and king looking at it."

"D-don't...don't you touch them you bastard!" looking down at him, I could see him struggling. It pained me, truly.

"Trust me, it won't be me being the one laying paws on her, after all, she's family. Right." alright, alright funs over. I extended a single claw and slowly slide it across his right paws. I could feel and hear the slight tearing of his flesh. It was all so enjoyable. When I dug deeper I could even feel a little bone.

"Argh...you...you'll pay for this!"

"By who and what army?" I was done here, Kijivu was barely hanging on by his left paw. I could see the color draining from the area. I quite frankly I was getting hungry. sinking all of my claws into his left forearm I held control of his movement. " you know, if you weren't the king I of this I think we could have been friends, oh shit who am I kidding, I hate everyone haha, say hi to your old lion for me!" I flung my arm up, releasing Kijivu arm from my grip and the rock.

I watched his body tumbled against the side of the cliff until he was too far out of sight. all I had for the confirmation of his death was the sound of his body hitting the water.

Guest , I know a part deep down in Simba knows shit really hit the fan back at pride rock. He knew his mother was going to die either way, and tried to tell her to stop. Maybe that's why he left in the first place? You know crazy, can't see crazy coming for them. It'll take crazy to beat crazy right. whatever is coming his way, he won't be prepared, he may think he is. and I know after this you will hate Nuka even more.

and I hope I can satisfy everyone when he does kick the can. I'll have to re-read some books and look up how they wrote a great death scene lol.

Yes, I was trying to work that in a subtle way. I know I may have repeated somethings. but really how could Simba sleep and be at peace at night, knowing he has something greater out there waiting for him ( literally a damn kingdom). I know I would be paranoid.
