NALA

"Wait ...just slow down for a second." I don't know how many times my words went on deaf ears. I bet it's been 100 times by now, I don't know why I'm wasting my breath when I know damn well she's not doing to listen. We were both in the royal den, and I had to watch helplessly as my friend pace back in forth racking her brain. " Vitani please sit down, you're giving me a headache."

"I can't... somethings happened, I know it. This has never happened before." her voice was so low I could barely hear it.

"What's never happened before?"

"Kijivu, he doesn't just leave and not tell me, and if he does he's never gone for this long..." the nervousness in her voice was apparent. I felt like I could do nothing, all I could do was caress Roho's sleeping body. Vitani made sure she'd put him to sleep so he wouldn't see or hear anything. Although I can say it didn't take much the little guy was tuckered out.

"Maybe something came up, and he's taking longer than normal." me, trying to be a sound voice for her right now.

"Came up? you heard him Nala. Roho said he went on a walk with Nuka, this morning and hasn't come back... it's damn near evening now...I'll be calling for the evening hunt soon and still he hasn't come home yet?!"

"Okay, something may be up, but we have to approach the situation carefully."

"I'll approach him carefully alright." I watched as Vitani suddenly turned tail yo head out of the den. dammit, I know exactly what she's going to do, and I have to stop her. I raced after her.

"Vitani wait!"

"What!"

"Just think about it first, before you go doing anything."

"Nala what the hell is there to think about, I know something is wrong I can feel it. Besides, you saw the way my brother came walking back, out of nowhere for one, and then all happy... That can't be good. where the hell had he been all morning, I didn't see him come to the platform when we returned this morning. Did you?"

"No, I didn't..." thinking about the matter now. He was missing right with King Kijivu. Expect the only difference is, the biggest difference is, Nuka not on anyone's radar here. him being gone for a few hours doesn't mean a damn thing to 's not important. Kijvu on the other paw is. I know I saw the other look around, waiting for the king to show for today's hunt this morning. Vitani herself had to tell everyone he would not be here this morning. which I know no one will think too much about. things happen, he's a king after all.

Duty can call at any moment. He doesn't have to explain anything to anyone, neither does Vitani. This is why I know when Vitani mentioned that this morning, no one really turned an eye too much. But now, she would need some type of explainion eventually. Especially if he still has not shown. Then, it's bound to become everyone's business. and how will she explain this... but now, still...I know it's freaking her out. But I don't think that's enough for her to do apeshit on Nuka yet.

"But that's not proof enough."

"What the hell do you mean that's not proof enough, Nala?! Who's side are you on."

"You know I'm on your side, but I'm being your voice of reason right now. Vitani you're panicking and you can't do that. so what, you'll go over there, demanding Nuka tell you here he was? what do would that do, we weren't here when anything happened."

"I know because that sick bastard planned it out that way. kings, I'm so stupid, I should have stayed here. He probably sweet-talks him, in some ridiculous way that played with His feelings...god he's so trusting.

"Vitani I know that as much as you. Something is wrong, I can feel it too. But we can't jump to conclusions. We need to think this though just as much as he probably has. Besides if we into this, we'll cause attention to yourselves. remember you already told me, it took you months to gain everyone's trust. If they think you brought someone here that killed their king...it'll be chaos for sure. No one will be safe. it'll be every lion for themselves, and when you're scared you don't play fair."

Kings, I hope what I am saying was making sense. I get her urgency, I do... lives are on the line here. and because lives are on the line, we have to be extra careful. The last thing we'll need is the mountain pride tuning on us. It'll be a slaughterhouse. They not only outnumber us they out power us for sure.

"Fuck... fuck fuck fuck!" I watched her battle, with her next decision. What she decides next can change the fate of everything. " Okay... I won't talk to him, I'll talk to someone else."

"Wait...who?"

"My mother."

KawaiiCutie12, I know it feels like its coming soo soon, but trust, I'm going to throw a wrench in there for you guys lol because I'm just evil.

Guest, yes, I knew Vitani was going to say some words to her brother whether it was appropriate or not. Nala, I can say now does not feel overpowered or threaten by him anymore. And yes, Simba will go threw a time of personal denial, I'm not sure how I'm going to have him cope with it just yet. I'll definitely take some beats from the original movie.

Guest, thank for the review I'm glad you enjoyed it.
