NUKA

"Nice to see you all made it." I voiced, looking at the five remaining hyenas that stood before me. in just a few short hours this place will be mine. I had my numbers now, and Kijivu was well out of the picture.

"Of course boss, you know we'd never let you down." Bones, what a very loyal dog he was.

"But of course, anyone see you?" I asked, knowing the trees have eyes. Yet this place, for them I'd say the mountain has whispers. the one good thing about being in this isolated area is, no other pride pass thought here. It's way out of the way for anyone. No one will hear a thing when it's all said and done.

"No sir, we made sure to stay out of sight."

"Right, all is well. Vitani and the pride have left for the hunt already. Everything moving Fine. there's just one thing I need to do to make sure my sister doesn't get in the way of me."

"What's that boss?"

"I'll tell you when we get close-"

"Nuka!" ah the bain of my existence. I turned casually to see my mother walking my way. I knew I felt someone was following me. From the looks of it, it seemed like she was on a mission. "Nuka we need to talk now."

"Shouldn't you be hunting with the other lionesses now? Or did 'Queen Vitani ' send you here just to watch little old me."

"Son, this is serious. We need to rethink- what are they doing here?" again with this whole We thing. Like she's done a damn thing to help me get here.

"Oh them, I invited them here."

"...Why?"

"Let's not play dumb here mother, we both know why they are here."

"Nuka you need to reconsider this now before it's too late." I could hear the urgency, the passion in her voice...if only I cared. look at her, backing down from the plan my father came up with. my fathers probably rolling in his grave right now. I stood in front of her mother and stared at her plainly, what did she want me to do? stop and go back, it's a little too late for that now. " Son, please listen to me. I just got done talking with Vitani. She knows."

"Congratulation to her for being such a good detective."

"Something is wrong, with her. I don't know what it is. But she's very upset."

"Hell I don't know what's wrong with her, I maybe her twin but I can't head her mind. Hah, maybe you should ask King Kijivu what's wrong with her, he...he might be able to help!" damn, I couldn't' hold the laugh in anymore. kings, the look on the lions face once he released what was about to happen to him, priceless. to think an old king could be so naive.

it shameful really, he shouldn't have been a king in the first place. He was too old and senile to function properly. Shit that has to suck knowing your own mate cheating on you with someone from on your own pride. And what's worse is that old Kijivu here...that lion thought he was going something when he sent the other lion away. Please the damage is done. Have fun raising some other lions bastard. Boy, life I tell ya.

By this time, all the hyenas had joined in on my laughing. the smudge look on my mother's face told me she wasn't here for it. Oh well. "Nuka, what did you do. tell me, tell me now!"

"Me?! I didn't do anything. It was gravities fault hah no mine." I wiped the few years that fell from my face. It was time to head out, I still had one last stop to make before everything falls into place. Before I or the hyena could go on our merry way, my mother intercepting me. "What."

"Don't what me. you didn't actually do it, it didn't kill Kijivu did you?!"

"Like I said, mother, it was the damn gravities fault-" my neck snapped as my face whipped to the side. For a moment there... it took me some time to register the hit from my mother. well, it looks like more than one lion is dying today.

I sucked my teeth to absorb the sting. Hyena stood around me, all dumbfounded. Idiots. " How could you do this, you've ruined everything for me...finally I've had all my cubs back together, as a family. Why wouldn't you let me be happy!" great... she's losing it. " No! no!...I can fix this, I can figure something out. we'll say it was an accident...a misstep. you dd your best to save him, but you couldn't..."

"Mother please..." kings she was starting to get on my nerves, one of the hyenas walked forward to me, as I rubbed the side of my head. He watched my mother in her manic state, thinking she could offer up some help. I waved my paw in the air and told him an the others to stand down. " What's with all this damn backpedaling. You knew this was going to happen. We can stop pretending."

"How could you even do that to her, her family...have you no heart."

" Well the last time I wanted to use my heart for everything, to show I could be an amazing son, father crushed it remember." she said nothing, which she shouldn't'. she was there when it happened when I got utterly humiliated. when my father thought he could practically disown me. He wanted to give what was rightfully mine, away. and what did my mother do? she said a few words on my behalf, but nothing more than that. She did nothing. She always did nothing. so it truly amusing me now, that's she's actually trying to do something in her life. " I'm only finishing what my father started, and making it better."

"You're father was a monster don't you see."

"Hmp, you really don't think I know that? The lions my father, I've always known that. You on the other paw, mommy dearest, didn't know. Or you were either too stupid to see or too in love with him to it see. The lion was sick, fucked up." I voiced circling her. " But you let him raise me, and you know what I learned from being the son of a sick fuck? They get the things that they want, am I right?!"

"Yeah!" voice the hyenas echoing in the background.

"Just think, the lion killed his own brother, his own flesh and blood. at least the lions I've killed I'm not related to. So in reality, I'm not that bad, right?"

"I don't think so, boss!"

"Me either!"

"Exactly, I'm just a son who's inherited his father's will!" aw the cheers form the simple fools. How I missed them so.

" But you're wrong. This is wrong, do better than what your father and I did. if not it'll only be your downfall your death!" I leaned in closer to my mother's side, I bent down so we were eye to eye. I whispered in her ear.

"What I've learned in my short life. It's a hell of a lot easier doing wrong to others than doing right." I turned swiftly and began to walk away.

"Son! son stop, oy I'll stop you!"

"And how pray tell are you going to do that?"

"I'll tell Vitani everything. You'll be outnumbered and outmatched. you'll be killed before you even step foot near her or her son."

"Oh please, that spawns not even Kijivu's."

"w-what?"

"Oh yea! I didn't I tell you. Your little girl was a little fast cheating with another lion and got pregnant with his son. Turned out, Kijivu knew the whole time isn't he wild!, I tell you that lion had more strength than me. I tried to put myself in his paws and see what he would do to her, but I didn't think of what the other lionesses will do to her! Life is just some fucked up joke isn't it."

"You wouldn't dare!"

"Oh don't tempt me now, I'm still toying with the idea. It can play out in so many ways"

"They would kill her and her son!"

"Hmm, I'm not the one that opened my legs and put myself in that predicament that was all Vitani. Now, mother I really have to go now. I truly hate that it has to end up this way but-"

"But what? what are you going to do, kill your own mother? Nuka you're not like you're father please!"

"I know I'm not like my father, and I'm not the one who will be killing you." I turned to see her face one last time. If only she hadn't threatened to get in my way. I really wanted to have her, or someone watch me take over the world. Guess it wasn't supposed to be her. "Make it quick." I ordered. " and clean up when you're done."

"Right boss."

"w-wait stop! what are you doing?! Nuka! NUKA!" like I said before, the one good thing about being out here is no one can hear a thing.

RyanSquad, I don't know if you can see it, but I can finally see you all last reviews. But you're right it is very annoying.
