Rather than being fast, and throw rapid countering attacks to his face or side, as I would do. Vitani was more, male-like in her fighting. Throwing herself into action, full speed, and full weight ahead. Once she grabbed onto her brother, she didn't let go. The same was said for Nuka. It was a ying and yang...

They went from the ground to ramming each other into the side of the den. Us lionesses watching had to stand alert, or else we would have found ourselves being in between them. Some called for them to stop fighting, but in the end, no one did anything. They were too powerless. Hell if they both killed each other, they would be happy.

As I watched them, flashes of my own battle with Nuka, played in the back of my head. The stings of his hits on my body, the taste of dirt and blood in my mouth, water pressure building up in my eyes...it was all so fresh and so real again. The feeling of failure hit me like a ten-foot boulder."It's not until you're placed in that very moment, with someone else's life in your paws that you'll be able to actually make that call."

My mother's voice was playing in the back of my head. it was...consuming the little space I had left to think clearly. I knew I had some doubts... I definitely had fear...but I could handle it. I wanted him to die, I wanted to be the one that took that last breath from him. "Nala being a killer isn't for everyone."

Damn, what was happening? I hadn't felt this lost, this insecure in a while...why was I starting to feel it now? and why couldn't I stop it! My stomach started to hurt as if I was the one fighting him, my legs-just like they had been before, only after minutes fighting him- started to feel weak and shaky under my weight. Everything went still when we heard a hard thud hit the ground. The hard vibration bouncing off the den walls. The reality of what had happened rang in my ears. Vitani was standing over her brother. His head forced to face the direction of the pride. One paw with claws fully extended into his neck, the other was applying pressing on his one eye as she jammed it into the cold ground. She beat him...she won.

"Tell them!" her teeth were bared, I could see trickles of blood dotted on her gums, teeth, and face. "Tell them what you did!" His grimacing smile and obvious silence was a deafening answer enough for everyone in the den. "...You bastard." The accusation of murder was all in her voice. She had nothing to lose now...she was going to kill him. His face was held, Vitani's paw with 4-inch claws extended, preparing to swing back. It was going to be over.

Then my heart stopped, I saw the look on his face. His eye dead in my decision, he was fucking happy...amused by something. "Shanti now!" huh? my heart began to race, what was happening?! Suddenly I was knocked to the ground by the passing lionesses. "Get the others!" Nuka called...Others? the hell...everything was happening within seconds!

"Mom! Mom!" I watched terrified as Roho little body, that was just seconds before ...next to mine. Be picked up and taken away, like he was never there.

"ROHO NO!" Shanti ran out the den. More chaos reputed because no one knew what the hell was happening...who to turn to for answers. But I heard everything, I felt it... I could hear Nuka's sinister laughter. He planned this... he was way ahead of us. We were falling right into his plan, I watched as the smile never left his face. He took advantage of the sudden distraction of everyone in the pride, me, Vitani...

"Vitani look out!" I shouted at her, my call mixed with the many echoing voices. We all watched her fly into the air. As Nuka rammed her ribcage and stomach with his two back legs. Her body hit the back of the den walls, her head landing on the ground first, her body followed after. She wasn't moving. My legs finally got the will power to move and I ran over to her. "Vitani?! Vitani!"

Nuka shook himself off and limped after Shanti I knew he would. And no one stopped him...It looks like he was able to find a new pawn after all. Fuck! I pushed passed the lionesses that stood around her.

"She's not moving...she not move!" voiced Limpo panicking.

"Stand back!" I spoke, making my way to the front. She wasn't out, I could see the back of her eyelids moving rapidly along with her breathing. she was awake, more importantly, she was alive. " She's in shock, the impact of that hit against the wall...we can't move her. She'll come to when her bodies relax..." I watched the inner movement of her stomach contract and expand, her legs in the static extension. Limbs not knowing what to do as they spasms. It was the same thing that happened to me. When I landed on the ground, body unresponsive...tired.

Her mouth started to quiver. Her speech was almost inaudible. I felt like the message was personal to me, as I heard her weak words in my ear. "...s..son...ge...get..m...son"

"I will. I'll save him, I promise." I frantically looked around. There were only seven members. Shanti had chosen her side...brainwashed by whatever lie Nuka had told her. I know for a fact Nuka has to have reinforcements coming in. " Mwenya, you and two others stay with her. Everyone else come with me!"

KawaiiCutie12 , Nuka would ignore his mother or Scar trying to talk to him from the afterlife. his mother more so than his father, I feel. He's not about that life lol. and you can still love and hate him at the same time! and Shanti is Vitani's right-hand lioness in her pride.
