I waited for two other hyenas to return. We still needed to move in order to keep my plan working. I've already sent three hyenas ahead to keep an eye on things for me. I took a good beating from Vitani to get what I wanted. I knew I had to put my pride away for something to get done. The muscle aches will die down eventually. But the feeling of my fance being crushed under paws...that sensation will sting and stay.

I hadn't have to be humiliated by seeming weak in that way for years ...it had to get done. I knew Shanti would handle the rest. hell to believe she was so easily swayed on my side, for a lion that surely didn't even pass her a second glance.f there's one thing about lionesses they foolishly give their all for the lion that they love. Not even thinking about how or why they are even doing it. For once, love actually had a purpose.

"Boss." I turned to see two hyenas appearing for the thicket.

"what's that?" I asked curious about what they were dragging.

"Shanti boss, she took a beating from Nala."

"Oh, I see." I got up and walked slowly over to her. she was bruised for sure. that head injury she had would keep her down for a couple of days at the least. Great, another body to carry on the way in. More ammo for me I suppose. I then looked over to Vitani slain pride members. the lionesses did their best to put up a good fight. They honestly lasted longer than I expected being outnumbered.

It was a great show, a brilliant effort for a span that's not even their kings, son. Kings, I could only laugh at the mayhem I know I am causing within that pride right now. They truly for no alliance to my sister after this... I suppose the only thing that could keep with on her side would be them, liking her. I'm not saying that's a far statement, trust me she's more likable than I could ever be. Yet still, why waste their time trusting a lioness the know nothing about. and who literally brought death to their home.

I'm thinking they will all split on her, save themselves and stick with me. "What would you like us to do with her?"

"bring her with, she's still very valuable. Where the cub?" annoying filled my face as I watch their eyes do their best to avoid my gaze and my question. " I said where the cub? I sent you two to retrieve him, didn't I?"

"yes boss, it's just..."

"It's just what?"

"...They got away." Bones said.

"...Away...what do you mean AWAY?!" Shit watching these two pieces of shit coward before me gave me my answer. " you fools let her get away, didn't you..."

"No boss no! we had her and the cub. But the bitch went crazy and jumped off into a riven!-"

"Right! we followed after her and checked the place as much as we could...but we knew we had to get back to you quickly. The two are dead, believe me, a fall like that. There's no way she or the cub survived.-"

"And if they did might I add, there's no way they will survive staying in there, they can't get out of that riven. It's impossible."

" You fools know if I wasn't pressed for time, I'd have both of your heads for failure right?" I watched them both shake with fear. Playing with someone's life I've learned can be so easy. In reality, you don't even have to touch them. just get them the fear of the controlled =what-if' my father was great at that game. He'd have you sit there and question your whole life right then and there, for no practical reason. Just for the fact that you think something could happen to you if you didn't.

a very skillful play in getting these dogs to follow him with no attempt of kickback. For wanting to fight for more.

"Yes Nuka we know, and we're truly ashamed for failing you. we promise to make it up to you. if we need to go down there and find that brat and bring him back up to you, we will."

"I know you will." I turned to leave.

"yes boss, um Nuka what should be we do with the other bodies?"

"Bring them, I like souvenirs from battle. You've earned them."

"Yes, Nuka." Hmp, Nala would find a way to foil my plan. That lioness truly has it out for me. She just can't let me be great. get the things that I want. I truly had no intention of hurting her then, but now. She's playing along with Vitani for far too long. Even getting attached to her son. It won't be easy to separate them. But I have to kill him, even if he isn't Kijivu, true heir. He'll still be seen as such and I won't be able to sleep at night if that happens.

Then again, maybe I should be like my father and take the little guy in. It would be so entertaining to see my sister's face, as I held the one thing she valued more in this life than herself. Right in the palms for my paws. Yes, I have to get him back. And even if he is dead. My sister doesn't know that yet. I could use the idea of him being alive in my favor.

I really am a fucking monster.
