Chapter Fifteen: The Birthmark and Kidnapping...

Lloyd typed rapidly at a laptop, his brow furrowed in thought. "We need to talk to Pixal Borg."

"You sure about this dude?" Cole questioned as he lifted a forkful of cake to his lips.

Kai sneezed as he stumbled past them. "Whatever the plan is... I ain't going. I just can't get over this cold it seems."

Lloyd sniggered, knowing that Kai's body temperature has been lower than normal recently, a good sign that the fiery teen was ill. "You best get back to bed before Nya finds out that your up and about."

"I need a drink." Kai disappeared into the kitchen.

Lloyd shook his head as he watched him go. Turning to face Jay, who was hovering near the door, he nodded to him. "Go get Nya." Nya was down in the basement gymnasium sparring with Scales. At least that was what she claimed to be doing. The loud yelps of pain from Scales had them worried that she was testing a new invention on him.

Jay nodded once, before ducking down the stairs. With him gone, that left him with a small dilemma. "Not only do we need to talk to her about these Masters, but we also need to find a couple of Darkley's Agents that by chance have stolen some codes that will be very dange..." "KAI GARMADON WU RAY SMITH!" Lloyd paused as Nya came tearing up the stairs, making a beeline to the kitchen and her brother. Clearing his throat once she was out of sight, he continued on. "As I was saying... the stolen codes will be very dangerous in the wrong hands, so we need to get them back as soon as possible."

Zane, who was staring intently at his own laptop spoke up calmly. "Cole and I will go with you. Stockholm is known for its ice so I will blend in perfectly there. Cole's strength might not be very useful, but Kai is still ill and we need Nya and Jay to stay behind to tend to his needs. Unless someone has a better idea?"

"Nope. Let's go." Lloyd snapped his laptop shut, satisfied about the plan. "We can discuss the plan in more detail once we're on the plane."

"Wait...your leaving me here!?" Scales appeared in the doorway, bewilderment flashing in his eyes. "With her!?"

"Relax Scales... she only beats up people as much as she does you if she thinks they need to improve their fighting techniques."

Lloyd peered around the building to see that the Master Agent was following Cole just like they had planned. "Time for me to join in the fun..." Moving silently, he walked over to where Pixal was hovering near the back of the group. Placing a hand on her shoulder, he bot back a smile as she jumped a mile into the air. "Follow me."

Pixal glanced between him and his decoy for several seconds, bewilderment dancing in her eyes. "But how... you were just..." She gestured franticaly in the general direction that the black ninja had disappeared in.

"A friend of mine. His father insists that I call him uncle." Lloyd stated via explanation. "We'll have more privacy if we go in here." He pulled open the door to the historic building causally, gesturing for her to enter first.

"Why are you bringing me here?"

"We need your help. And by that we need information on these Masters." Lloyd pulled out one of his business cards, holding it out to her. "You may call me Green or Lloyd. Either case those are my names."

Pixal's mouth dropped open as she finally got the confirmation that Lloyd Ninja was a member of Ninja Incorporated. "I suspected that you were a member of Ninja Incorporated…but I never thought you could be the top man...well I guess I should say teen."

Lloyd rolled his eyes at that as he lead the way up some old stairs towards a large bell tower. "The Master's keep getting in our way. What is their goal? Whose side are they on?"

"They want to stop Darkley's... I believe I heard two of your men mention them once." Pixal shifted slightly as she glanced down the spiraling staircase. "This goes pretty high up...doesn't it?"

"Basically to the roof." Lloyd stopped moving, turning to face her. "Funny how it sounds like we've got the same goal as these Masters guys. Ninja Incorporated was created for the sole purpose of stopping Darkley's."

"I see..." "THERE THEY ARE! STOP HIM!" Pixal jumped as her new partner, a green haired teen named Tox appeared behind them.

Lloyd shot Tox an annoyed look before sprinting to the large window. Leaping forward, Tox sprayed some sort of green gas at Lloyd, causing him to stumble...but did not stop him. Lloyd jumped off of the window's ledge, activating his hang-glider...

Lloyd gasped as he tried once again to climb up the steep side of the hill that he had crashed down onto...hard. Groaning, he reached into his pocket and pulled out the pen that he had swiped from Pixal. He really hated to stoop down to asking them for help... but his sweater was completely shredded, and the cold was rapidly getting to him. If he didn't get help soon he would literally freeze to death. And unfortunately he was out of range from the others. Shivering, he pulled out the pen, clicking it even as he dropped it to the ground. Rubbing his arms, he took in a deep breath as his fingers grazed his birthmark on his right arm.

Misako's holo popped up, eyes widening as she noticed Lloyd. "Lloyd Ninja!"

"Help me..." Lloyd passed out, falling limply to the ground.

Misako moved quickly, dropping down to kneel next to his unconscious form. "Garmadon! Get me a emergency helicopter at these coordinates like yesterday!" She called out to someone that only she could see, even as her holo fingers brushed against Lloyd's freezing arms. As she made the gentle movement, Lloyd's left arm slipped down, revealing his birthmark...

Ella: Okay it was a little bit fun... but did we really have to stop at a cliffhanger?

SkyTalon: Yes! This is when we really stop going by the Carmen Sandiego episodes and do more our own thing.

Ella: Fine. I guess we've got everything worked out. Everyone should be presuming that Cole and Zane are handling the other thing that they were discussing by themselves anyways so see you next week!
