Chapter 35
Liam changed their plans to divide into two and he put Bastien on the task of locating a place to stay in Lythikos that would house the whole group. After they separated and headed to there designated search areas Liam was surprised by all the help he received. He hadn't expected everyone in the area to aide him in his search for the queen. It was touching to see how many loved his queen. He had completed his search rather quickly thanking all who helped before joining the other half of the team. It didn't take long with his help to finish the other direction and leave for Lythikos. Liam couldn't wait to arrive and rest. When they arrived he found that everyone would have to share him included. He'd share with Drake, Bastien, and Maxwell. Drake sat next to Liam saying, "You should go to bed you look exhausted. I'll try to get a hold of Leo. I don't think we should all stay at the keep once we arrive. We should start searching again after a brief break."
Liam nodded his head replying, "Good idea. I make no promises on the sleep though I will try." Drake nodded in understanding. Drake called Leo as soon as Liam was out of the room. Drake felt like Liam didn't need anything else to worry about. During his conversation with Leo that Olivia had left early that morning with her aunt. Leo was suspecting that Olivia's aunt had kidnapped her and had taken her to where Riley was being held. They now also had a direction to head. Drake hoped for Liam's sake they found her location quickly. He was fairly certain that it would take time to figure out a plan of attack to retrieve Riley. Perhaps even capture Anton although his death would resolve any future threat as well.
Liam was out like a light the moment his head hit the pillow. The first time he had woken up had been in a cold sweat. Images of Riley laying in a cell her stomach sliced open and their child left to die with its mother. Anton couldn't be found anywhere. Liam had been heartbroken by the loss. He shook off the remainder of the horrible nightmare and settled back into sleep. This time when he dreams of Riley she is laying next to him in bed. He blinks a few times to be sure that she is there. He wants to pinch himself to make sure it's not a dream but he doesn't want to wake up either. He will take a dream Riley until he can recover the real one. Once he has her back he will never let her out of his sight again.
Liam tugged her closer his body instantly warming from the closeness of her. He wondered why he felt so warm in a dream but didn't dwell on it for too long. Liam wrapped and arm around Riley holding her tightly. Her voice sounded strange to him as she called his name. He murmured hers grinding his growing erection into her rear. His body shook on its own causing Riley to slowly fade away. Soon Riley's voice was replaced by Drake's.
"Liam please wake up", he said in a panicked tone. Liam slowly started waking up for the pleasant dream he had been having only to see Drake in front of him. His arm was thrown over his waist the hips intimately close and Liam's erection was pressed into the man's butt cheeks. Liam instantly let Drake go and scooted away from the man pink staining his cheeks. "Sorry", Liam said embarrassment in his tone. Drake replied, "There is a lot I'd do for you Liam but I draw the line at swordplay and rods going in my ass. All joking aside I could tell you were dreaming of Riley. How are you going to handle the 6 weeks without after the delivery?"
Liam still recovering from what he had tried to do to his best friend took a moment to respond. Liam eyed Drake suspiciously before deciding he'd reply," I'm not sure how you know about that or why but while you are right you are also wrong." Drake's face took on a shocked expression so Liam added, "For 6 weeks nothing can go inside her vagina it has to heal but anything else we want to do is fine." He chuckled saying, "Riley got us sex therapists who specialize in new parents. They gave us tons of ideas on how to stay intimate without sex. They also gave suggestions to try while she was pregnant to see if it was something we liked. One such suggestion was anal sex."
Drake nodded glad his friend would have a case of blue balls for 6 weeks. Drake said, "Why don't you turn your back to me and we try to get some more sleep before tomorrow. Leo said he had a lead to where Olivia might be. He's interrogating the staff at her keep and will stay until we arrive tomorrow morning." Liam nodded still exhausted turning over in the bed to face the other way. He was still embarrassed by what had happened even though he knew Drake wouldn't hold it against him. Liam settled into the bed finding himself lucky enough to drift back off to sleep. He knew he needed the rest between the nightmares and now wet dreams he wasn't sure how much he was getting.
The next morning Liam woke up feeling as tired as he did when he went to bed the night before. They all got dressed and grabbed a quick meal before heading to Olivia's keep. It seemed to take forever to arrive. When he finally did with his small army Leo was outside waiting on them. As soon a Leo saw him Leo rushed over saying, "God you look like hell. I have great news I have a lead. After you've gotten some rest I will grab some men and look into it. If she's not there I'd suggest we have a team investigate the strongholds here. The staff knows the locations of all the abandoned keeps and duchy properties are. They have offered to help us rescue the queen. I hope we will have her located at least by the end of the day. Then we will have to figure out how to rescue her."
