Chapter 23

"We're gonna fly," Mina said as she pumped her fist. "Ah man, I can't wait to fly!" Kaminari also cheered.

"Don't expect this to be an easy task, it took hours for both Midnight and All Might to master flying. It took a while for Midoriya to learn how to fly when he was interning for me," Broly told the entire class as they now paled.

"I couldn't say it better myself," Aizawa said as he turned to the Saiyan before looking back at his students. "We have more than a week to see this thought, I suggest you get creative and start using your quirks and Ki as you train. Any questions?" He asked the class as one hand rose. "What is it Midoriya?"

"It's actually about Mr. Broly teaching us how to fly. Should I train on just new super moves since I already know how to fly?" Izuku asked the Saiyan.

"I would say that is a good question," Aizawa rubbed his chin in thought. "What do you think Broly?" He asked the Saiyan.

Broly had to think of something for Izuku for his Ki training but couldn't think of what. Suddenly, an idea came to his mind. "Izuku, you will have weight training while everyone else is learning to fly," he told the green-haired teen.

"Weight training? You mean like lifting weights in a gym," Izuku asked the Saiyan.

"Hey Midoriya, you can borrow some of mine if that's the case," Kirishima said to his classmate.

"In a sense but you are not lifting any weights," Broly told the green-haired boy.

"But I'll show you, just not here." Some of the class muttered what the new Number One meant when he said that Izuku has weight training while they learn to fly.

"Alright, that's enough. Meet us all at Gym Gamma as you put on your hero outfits," Aizawa told the class as the walls expanded to see the luggage that contained their hero costumes in them.

"Yessir," they all said in unison as they walked to their luggage and headed to the locker room.

As class 1A went to get dressed, the rest of the teachers decided to meet them at Gym Gamma

to prepare the students. "So, what plan do you have for Midoriya, Broly," Cementoss asked the Saiyan. "You mentioned weight training but not lifting them. Mind if I ask?" The Saiyan was being very silent as they walked to the training grounds.

"Don't give us the silent treatment, we are training all the students after all," Ectoplasm said as they continued to still walk to the gym. "Midnight, can't you get him to say something?"

"Sorry guys but I can't make him speak," the R-Rated hero told both the Cement hero and the cloning hero. "But if I were to take a wild guess, it would be something he had to train while visiting a former teacher. Though don't you think it will be too much for the boy?"

"I'm gonna make it lighter and start small," Broly finally said to his fiancé and the other two heroes. Broly knows Izuku is strong but he's not a Saiyan. So, the weight training will be pushing his limits but won't break his body.

Soon, the teachers arrived at Gym Gamma and started to prepare. Cementoss started to mold and shape the inside of the building as he made several types of platforms for terrain purposes. Ectoplasm started to make multiple clones of himself so the students can have targets to practice their ultimate moves. A few minutes later the students soon arrived at Gym Gamma.

"Whoa," Sato said as he looked around the room to see the different platforms Cementoss made.

"This is for us to evaluate our new Ultimate moves. Man, I can't wait," Kirishima said as he threw a fist into his open palm feeling pumped.

"Mr. Aizawa, I have a question," Iida asked as he raised his arm. "Why are we practicing ultimate moves for the Provisional License Exam?"

"Like I said. Your task is to create at least two new super moves whether it's based on your quirk, Ki, or a mixture of both. These moves will either help with fighting villains, handling emergencies, search and rescue during natural or manufactured disasters," Aizawa said to his students. "The license exams will also judge you on your decisions and judgment, as well as how you communicate and operate. Every year a new test is used to evaluate these qualities."

"One thing is especially important, if you want to be a pro hero you must be able to provide in battle," Midnight added to Aizawa's explanation. "If you're prepared, you don't have to worry. And those of you who have an Ultimate move will have a stronger resolve."

"Adding Ki to your moves will make them much more powerful on how you use it, whether it be an attack or using it for other reasons," Broly told the students.

"A perfect example is Iida's, Recipro Burst. Whenever he uses it serves as an Ultimate move. This lets him move at a faster pace even for a few seconds," Ectoplasm explained.

"I was doing an Ultimate move this whole time?" Iida asked himself as tears were flowing from his face, but everyone else couldn't tell since he wore a mask.

"And you just figured that out now," Sato asked the class rep as he had a deadpanned look on his face, then looked back at the teachers. "So, in other words, it's like our secret weapon. Something to give us the edge no matter who or what we are facing."

"Well, aren't you a smart boy," Midnight commented. "Another example is Kamui Wood's

Lacquered Chain Prison used to capture opponents in an instant. Or when I use

my Somnamblast to make a villain fall asleep when getting hit."

"The training camp was interrupted thanks to the League, but the practice you did to develop into your quirk was part of the process needed to create these Ultimate moves. Now that you're caught up, you will be working hard to develop moves on your own for the next ten days or so. This is how you will spend the remainder of your summer vacation," Aizawa told the students of his class. "Now get to work."

"Yes sir!" the class said in unison as they spread out.

"Izuku," Broly caught the green-haired boy by the shoulder.

"Oh. yes," Izuku asked as he turned around to face the 9-foot-tall. "Is it about my training?"

"It is," Broly told him. "First I need you to pull your arms out in front."

Izuku looked confused as he tilted his head slightly, but it was thanks to Broly that he learned to control One For All better and learned how to use Ki and fly. Plus, he was a teacher, so he should trust him. With a nod, the green-haired did as he was told and pulled his arms out. Suddenly, Izuku's arms felt heavier than normal as they suddenly dropped to the ground. 'Huh?' he thought to himself as he was lifting his arms but falling down as a result. 'Why can't I move my arms?' he asked himself till he saw the reason. On both of his arms were some kinds of black straps. "W-what are these!?"

"They are arm weights. Thirty pounds to be precise on each arm," Broly explained to the green-haired boy. "This is your exercise while everyone is learning how to fly."

"O-okay, but right now we are making Ultimate Moves. Shouldn't I wait until basic Ki Training starts?" Izuku asked his teacher while trying to lift his arms.

"I'm afraid it can't. You will be using these weights as you try and create an Ultimate Move or two," the Saiyan told him. "It will also increase your physical shape, Ki, and Quirk all at the same time."

"Increase my Ki and Quirk as I get physically stronger?" Izuku repeated as he looked at the left gauntlet on his arm. 'To get stronger, I have to improve on my skills.' he tightened his fists as he slowly stood up on his feet and started to use Full Cowling at 25 percent. 'To be the next Number One Hero, I need to go Plus Ultra!' He increased his power by five percent as he lifted his arms. 'They may be heavy, but they are for a noble cause!'

"Good. Don't lose that focus," Broly advised him as Izuku lifted both of his arms and put his hands together. 'He's forming a new move already?' Izuku clenched his teeth together as he started to make a green ball of Ki in his hands. "Hiroshima Cannon!" he shouted as he was ready to fire it at the wall, only for it to be a small ball of Ki and made a tiny dent in the wall. "Huh? What happened!?"

"Not sure, but it's a start," Broly told Izuku. "I'm going to help the other students, keep practicing," he said as he walked away from the green-haired boy and looked around to check up on the other students. As he looked around, he noticed that many of them focused on creating their Ultimate Moves.

"Ultimate Move, shooting acid through my hands! Super Geiser!" Mina shouted as she put her palms out as if to shoot a Ki blast like what Midoriya was doing. But turns out she was only using her quirk to shoot the acid, as it only shot a foot in front of her. "So, what do you think?" She asked one of the Ectoplasm clones.

"If you're going to go that route then I suggest using a noise with your fingers to increase aim and reach." Ectoplasm suggested as she did so, and her acid shot even further.

"Oh, crap this is totally awesome," Mina smiled as she melted the wall in front of her.

"Try to increase the potency of your acid," Broly said as he walked up to her. "Also, I noticed that you were trying to shoot your acid out like a beam. Have you ever tried to condense it into a ball then throw it as hard as you can?"

"Huh, I never thought of it like that. Let me try it!" Mina said as she concentrated her acid into a ball-like sphere as it grew to be the size of a tennis ball. "Let's go, Acid Bomb!" she yelled her new attack name as it made a new hole in her training wall. "So cool!"

"Keep practicing," Broly told her as she continued her drills. The Saiyan started to look around to see which students needed some advice or help.

"I see everyone else is working hard," a voice said from behind the Saiyan as it turns out to be All Might.

"All Might," Broly greeted as the former number 1 Pro Hero walked up to the Saiyan.

"I had nothing going on, so I came in early today!" All Might announced while temporarily shifting into his Muscle Form. He immediately faded back into his true form and sighed. "So, how're the kids managing themselves?"

"So far they all are coming up with new ultimate moves," Broly answered as his attention shifted back to the students. "I had Midoriya wear weights while he trained. I figured it would help him get stronger and master his Quirk."

"Similar to what Gran Torino did to you," All Might recalled. "Minus the trains." Broly nodded in agreement to that statement, and for now, continued to watch the students.

Izuku was slowly getting tired due to the weights, but he continued to press on as he shouted one more time, "Hiroshima Cannon!" The Ki blast formed, fired, but still, the same result persisted. "I don't understand," he muttered as his arms fell to his sides. "Even with the weights, it shouldn't affect my performance in the slightest, let alone my Ki. One For All should in theory also assist in making the weights have negligible effect and my physical prowess shouldn't affect my Ki, so could it be that something else is holding back like a mental blockage? But that wouldn't make any sense, nothing has happened recently…" As the young hero continued to ponder his dilemma, he reactivated One For All and raised his arms, and analyzed every action before firing another Ki blast.

All Might continued to watch the students as well, before his eyes landed on Kirishima, and saw that the boy was struggling to produce an idea for an Ultimate Move. Not only that, but some of the other students also seemed like they were struggling. And so, taking this as a cue to step up to the plate, he began to walk around and offer advice to his students.

"Young Kirishima," All Might said as he walked up to the redhead, catching his attention.

"Oh, All Might!" Kirishima turned to face All Might. "What's up?"

"I see that you're struggling. Is there any potential reason for this?" The former Symbol of Peace asked.

"My Quirk is only good for physical attacks, and while Mr. Broly did teach us all Ki, everyone is going for roughly the same thing with the Ki blasts," Kirishima explained. "I'm unsure whether or not I should also make a blast attack, or if I should focus on my Quirk."

'His problem is indecisiveness,' All Might thought. 'But he is right. Most of them are making Ki blasts, though some are more oriented around their Quirks, like Young Aoyama and Midoriya.' Coming to a quick conclusion after some thought, he then said aloud, "If that's your problem, why not think of a third alternative. Assess what you have access to and make something from there." He then smiled and walked away to help with the next student, leaving Kirishima a bit dumbfounded at the advice, not sure what to make of it.

The Ectoplasm clone that was with Kirishima was curious as to how All Might produced that straightforward yet simple idea, before noticing that All Might had a book in the back pocket of his pants titled 'Idiot's Guide to Teaching.' That in return made the clone think to himself, 'Not as clever as I thought he was…even if the advice was sound.'

'He's seriously reading those?' Midnight thought to herself as she looked surprised. 'But still, it's a good effort. Even if it seems basic.' She gave a soft chuckle to herself. She then saw her fiancé approaching Tokoyami. 'What is he going to advise Tokoyami on?'

"Tokoyami, you and Dark Shadow are great partners when it comes to long-range. But even so, you need to focus on close-quarters combat," Broly told the bird-headed boy. "Why not use Dark Shadow like a cloak?"

"Like a cloaked huh," Tokoyami said as he closed his eyes and thought about it. "It would be effective in close range, but if someone were to use Dark Shadows weakness with light, then I will have little to defend myself."

"Then I suggest using some sort of close-range gear to better yourself. Your hero costume is covered in a cloak," The Saiyan told Tokoyami.

"I shall think about it, thank you for the advice," Tokoyami said as he bowed his head to the new Number One Hero as the Saiyan returned the gesture to help out the other students.

After an exhausting day of schoolwork and patrols of the city, both heroes were exhausted when they returned home.

"Boy, you two look awful. What happened?" Cheelai asked as she got out of the kitchen while wearing a purple hoodie and sweatpants to match. Both heroes gave her a death glare but mixed with some exhaustion in it. "You know what, forget I asked," she gave a nervous chuckle as she rubbed the back of her head. "I made some dinner; I hope you don't mind fish tonight?"

"After today, I could eat like a Saiyan," Midnight said as she was extremely hungry.

"Well, that's good, 'cause I made a large batch tonight," Cheelai told both heroes as she led them into the kitchen.

Before they could follow the green-skinned woman, all three of them heard the door open in the back of them and saw Lemo open and close the door behind him. "Something smells good, what are we having?"

"Fish, Tuna to be exact," Cheelai told the older, orange-skinned male. "So, enjoyed work?"

"I sure did, I got something to share with everyone," Lemo said happily.

"We can hear all about it at the table then," Cheelai said as they all made it into the kitchen to have their dinner.

After dinner, everyone was full with Cheelai's home-cooked meal. "It was very delicious Cheelai, thank you for the meal," Broly told his friend.

"It was no big deal. I figured that you two were going to have a long day and that I should be the one to cook for you," she said, giving a smile as well as giving her signature okay sign. "So Lemo, what did you want to tell us that is so great at work?" She asked as everyone was turning to the older alien at the table.

"Oh yeah well it would have started after I finished making machinic on the school's security…" Lemo started as he began his story.

"That should do it," Lemo said as he wiped his forehead at a job well done. "Now, let's get those drones up and running." He told himself as he was ready to leave, that is until he walked right into someone. "Ow, watch where you're going!"

"I'm sorry, I guess I was lost in thought," a male student apologized as he picked up his books and notes that were scattered around the floor.

"Here let me help you," Lemo said as he helped pick the boys' many notes. 'Huh that interesting, this kid is studying to be a hero,' the orange-skinned man looked at the note that this green-haired teen was really studying not only how to be a hero but also knowing others' quirks as well as their weaknesses. "Hey kid, you really have some talent there. I never knew someone from this school to have such an inventive mind," he told the boy as he handed one of his notebooks back to him.

"Oh thanks, it's nothing, just a hobby of mine. I'm Izuku" The boy said as stretched out his hand for the alien to shake.

"Names Lemo, nice to meet you," he said as he shook hands with Izuku.

"Wait, Lemo? You wouldn't happen to know Broly do you?" Izuku asked, seeing that the older man was not human or had a quirk of his own.

"Know him? I practically found him on Vampa. And I owe him my life," Lemo laughed as he remembered the day that purple ogre pushed him to the floor. "So, you in the hero course?"

"Yeah, I am. And I actually owe Mr. Broly a lot as he greatly improved my quirk and skills through Ki." Izuku said sheepishly as he rubbed the back of his head. "But recently, I have been having a lot more trouble."

"Wait, you're having some trouble? What could a smart kid like you have trouble with?" Lemo asked the teenager confused.

"Well, we are having to learn at least two Ultimate Moves before we are evaluated for our Provisional License exam and I'm trying to make a move that is powerful but not deadly. So, I was hoping to go to the workshop to have some arm bracers to not break my arms when I use 100% of my quirk and improve my costume."

"I see," Lemo said as he kept a straight face but had a sweat drop in the back of his head. 'This kid is trying to restrict himself trying to do hero work? It makes sense since the big guy doesn't want to use all of his strength to save people.' "So, what kind of move are you using?"

"Oh, it's a Ki blast move, but it's coming out too small while I had some weights on," Izuku told the older alien.

"Can I see?"

Izuku was nervous as this maintenance guy was asking him about showing him his new move. "I-I guess it won't hurt, but maybe somewhere more open."

Nodding in approval, Lemo and Izuku went outside to the forested area so Lemo could get a better understanding of the situation. "Alright, this should be a good enough spot, alright kid, let's see what you got."

Nodding his head, Izuku used 30% of One for All as he charged up his Ki and put his hands together as he made another Ki sphere. "Hiroshima Cannon!" Firing only for a small ball to launch itself. "As you can see, I can only make a small bit of a Ki sphere."

"Yeah, I can see that, but tell me, did you ever think of firing it like a beam?" Lemo asked him.

"A beam? I have not," Izuku told him as he never used it as a beam. Then he realized that was the solution. He stuck his hands out and tried it again, this time letting the Ki flow. "Hiroshima Cannon!" He shouted as he let loose this green-colored blast that tore down many trees. The green-haired boy's face was a mix of joy and shock as he made something so powerful.

"That's great kid, I think you took at least fifty trees," Lemo said. "I think you'll do amazing. With that new attack."

"Yeah, but it seems more like overkill if you ask me. That would be good for me if I'm facing a giant," the green-haired boy told the maintenance worker.

"Well, you're not wrong. Did you ever use it as a finger pistol?" Lemo asked as Izuku never even thought of that.

"I-I used to flick my fingers with my Quirk easily. But it broke them and had Recovery Girl keep healing my wounds."

Lemo couldn't help but flinch as broken fingers looked and sounded painful. "Ouch, try pointing your finger out and focus on the ki in that one spot."

"O-okay," Izuku pointed his finger at a tree and focused on his Ki in his index as a small beam shot from it, leaving a small hole in the trunk. "I- I did it. I made two new moves!" Shouting into the Heavens as he then looked at the older-looking alien and shook his hand. "Thank you so much! I couldn't have done this without your help!"

"So that's my good deed for the day, gonna say I impress myself," Lemo folded his hands in the back of his head, relaxed.

"So, you actually help out a student with his training on his advice, and it so happens to be both All Might and Broly's favorite student?" Midnight asked.

"Who said he was my favorite student?" Broly asked her.

"Honey, I know he's your favorite, you teach him a lot more than any other student," the R-rated hero told him. "And there is nothing wrong with favorites, but don't focus on him all the time. You do have other students."

"I know and I am going to teach them before they go off to get their provisional license."

"Oh, that reminds me," Cheelai spoke aloud. "Goku was here earlier with someone else that kinda resembles him."

"Someone that looks like Kakarot?" Broly asked as he tilted his head, wondering who it was.

"I think it was his son that was with him, he looked like him with the same facial features but younger and had spiked hair," Cheelai told him. "He said to meet him in the fields tomorrow morning."

"Thank you for telling me, Cheelai," Broly thanked his friend as he and Midnight headed upstairs for some rest.

"Why would Kakarot want to meet me here?" Broly asked the R-rated hero as they were flying to the fields.

"Maybe he wants to talk about being a hero," Midnight joked as she flew right next to him.

"Not likely. He doesn't seem the type to want to be a hero. I saw in his eyes, the thrill of fighting," the Saiyan told his fiancé as he remembered their last spar. Goku was enjoying the fight as they clashed with one another. Unlike Broly who only fights when needs to.

"Maybe he wants to train a student at U.A.?"

"Doubt that either. He doesn't seem to be the teaching type. But he's more learning from others than anything," the large Saiyan pointed out. "Unless he wants to teach me a new move?"

"We'll have to ask him ourselves," the R-rated hero said as they were getting closer to the fields. "I think I see him!" She pointed down where she could easily see Goku standing next to someone who looks like him but with shorter hair and was wearing glasses. Both of them landed in front of Goku and Gohan.

"Oh Good, you came Broly," Goku greeted him with a two-finger salute. "And you brought your wife with you too."

"Fiancé still, but hopefully not too long," Midnight corrected the orange gi-wearing Saiyan as she looked at the younger-looking man beside him. "I'm guessing this is your son?"

"Yes, I am, I'm Gohan. My dad told me about how you can make people go to sleep more easily," Gohan said to the dark-haired woman.

"Well, it is more effective towards men than to women. It sure helped when Broly was out of control and he slept like a baby," Midnight said cuddling Broly's arm on the last part. "So, what brings you here? And why here and not in U.A. grounds?"

"I just thought it would be easier coming here than all the way to that school," Goku said as he grinned sheepishly while scratching the back of his head. As both heroes gave him a deadpanned look.

"But the reason why we are here is that I heard you were a hero in this dimension of Earth and thought that maybe we could work together," Gohan said as he walked up to the larger Saiyan. "Maybe we can partner up and become a great duo."

"Maybe a trio," Midnight corrected. "Just so you are aware, you need to take the provisional license exam before you can wear a cape and save people from a fire or a robbery. Luckily, the students at our school are training to take their license exams. You can enter the exam if you are registering to be a hero. You will be joined up with either class 1A or 1B for the exams."

"It can't be that hard, I am a scholar back home. And I did fight some very strong enemies in my youth," Gohan said while remembering the time he headbutted his Uncle Raditz in the gut that broke his armor to the time he fought against Moro to buy his dad some time. "But I won't let you down."

Broly gave the younger half Saiyan his signature smirk as he held out his hand to shake, which Gohan gladly took. "Good to have you, now let's go teach a class."

And I think that's where we will end it for now. I want to thank my good old friend Legomasterlord for Beta Reading and editing while suggesting some stuff. And thanks to him for being back as a Beta Reader since no one took the position or didn't take it too seriously. Now we have Gohan in the mix so things might get a little interesting with the Great Saiyaman in the MHA Universe. How will this change things, well you will have to find out next time.

Legomasterlord: Heyo, Lego here! I just want to say that I am glad to be back and supporting Dragon alongside everyone else, as I did use to be his Beta Reader during the earlier chapters of this story, before taking some time to focus on my own stories which I will not plug here. However, since I am back and multitasking, I'm not gonna let anyone down! So now to go above and beyond! PLUS ULTRA!
