TMDDF: Danny and Kara

Chapter 35: The Competition Part 4

While Danny was busy dealing with his "girl drama", Clark and Lois were still among the media circus, pretending to be making a story about the competition but in reality, they were keeping an eye on Vlad and also a bald megalomaniac who has crossed their paths more times than they would like to admit to.

After the first competition, the gymnastics round ended with Horizon winning the first round, they and the other reporters took photo's of the winning team, but Lois and Clark kept trying to ask Vlad for more questions.

"Mayor Masters, one more question..."Lois started as she got into his grill.

The politician just waved her off

"If you have any more questions, I am sure that my associate will be happy to answer them. I do believe that you are familiar with Mr. Luthor..."Vlad said as the bald man came to the scene.

"Ms. Lane, always a pleasure..."The bald man greeted.

"Lex..." Lois said with barely contained venom.

She tried to maintain a professional look as the bald business man/criminal looked to her. Even if he and his army of lawyers made sure no charges ever stuck whenever he was brought to court, she still couldn't believe he was allowed at a school.

Especially with that vile smirk he still dares to sport around her as he spoke to her.

"I must admit to being surprised to see you here, Ms. Lane. You'd think that a reporter of your caliber would be reporting on a more prominent event than a mere school competition..."Lex said in a condescending tone.

Some of the other reporters frowned at Lex's passive aggressive shot at them but no one said anything, most likely because they either wanted to remain professional or not wanting to get targeted later by the most powerful businessman in Metropolis.

Lois, meanwhile, did the former and spoke with a neutral tone.

"I go where there's a story, Lex..." Lois said not rising to the bait ..."Though I'm surprised that you're here..."The female reporter said, trying to egg him into revealing something.

Lex just shrugged.

"Well, I believed that it was a worthy cause and Mr. Masters and I have a mutual interest..." Lex said professionally.

"Such as?..."Lois pressed on.

"Oh, I just believe this is a very lucrative partnership..."Lex said.

"That so?" Lois asked.

"Indeed...Not that I expect you to understand..."Lex said in a condencending way.

From a distance, Clark, who was pretending to watch the competition for the story, grit his teeth, trying to keep his composure as one of the few men that he legitimately hated said that to the woman he loves.

Yes, he hated Lex Luthor.

He just didn't understand how someone who was blessed with so much, would use his talents to exploit and hurt other people. This man has created the weapons and drugs of all kinds, all to line his pocket and that doesn't count the dozens, if not hundreds of attempts that he has made to attack him and any other hero who he saw as a threat to his income, as well as helping other villains behind the scenes, though he always finds some way to distance himself from them when they get caught.

It was frustrating.

"It seems a bit strange such a small town compared to Metropolis would have anything of value to someone like you..."Lois said sharply to the smug businessman.

"You'd be surprised what this town can provide..."Lex said and Vlad smirked.

"And what would that be?..."Lois asked.

"Can't spoil the surprise now. You of all people should understand the importance of secrecy, Ms. Lane..."Lex said.

Clark heard that and restrained himself.

Superman might be a hero but Clark Kent is a reporter and he must be inconspicuous and thankfully, he remained beneath the narcissistic notice of Lex Luthor.

Just as always.

"One of these days Luthor, the league and I are going to find enough evidence to end you. One of these days..."Clark thought as he kept his eyes on the competition but his ears on Lex and Lois's competition, just in case he'd have to step in.

Thankfully, he knew that Lois is safe but he still kept an eye on them, just in case he needs to put his cape on for either him or that slime ball Vlad Masters.

Even before Danny told him about his powers that he used for evil, Clark always sensed that there was something off about the Wisconsin billionaire. Clark always sensed something about him that made his skin crawl the same way Lex did.

Just like right now.

"I think you'll be surprised how beneficial this will be, Ms. Lane, and not just for me..."Lex said, still having that disgusting smirk on his face

Lois kept the neutral expression but was frowing hard on the inside.

"No, that's enough for now..."Lois said as she realized that she won't get anything more out of him as other reporters decided to keep asking for mundane questions to the billionaire.

With that done, a lot of the reporters decided to take a coffee break, but Clark has more pressing matters to attend to.

"I better go check on the kids..."He thought as he picked up his phone to call his cousin and protege, hoping that she has had better luck than he has here.

Maybe Kara had noticed something he hadn't. As a teenager, she was more tapped into the teenage grapevine than a boring old man like he was. It's possible she could have found something that he would have overlooked

It wouldn't been the first time.

Meanwhile

Tucker Foley saw still secretly monitoring the security system from his PDA but there have been no changes. If anything, the most outstanding thing that has happen so far was that attractive blonde that made Paulina look like yesterday's news making the guys go crazy.

Heck, Tucker had to remind himself about Velma when he looked at her. Sure, he might be a little girl crazy, but he's no cheater and he is not gonna pass up his perfect match who actually legitimately likes him and who knows more about tech than he does, just to ogle some blonde who'd likely wouldn't give him the time of day anyway.

Velma is special.

"Stop thinking about girls and focus, Foley..." Tucker told himself.

He needed to keep a watch over everything. There had to be some kind of angle with Vlad over this whole thing.

There was always an angle with Vlad.

That is when he saw Jazz, who was running towards him, looking worked up about something.

"Jazz?.."Tucker called.

"Tucker..."She panted.

"What happened? Did something go down?..."Tucker asked.

"No, not yet anyway. Have you seen Danny? I have been trying to call him but no signal..."She said.

"I think he said that he was going to go change..."Tucker said, though he wasn't if he was able to since there were thousands of people here and plenty of Vlad's security camera's to catch the whole thing.

"What's wrong?..."He asked.

"Let's just say I think I ALMOST completely figured out what Vlad is up to..."Jazz said, sounding annoyed.

"Really? What is it?..."Tucker asked and Jazz sighed.

"You're not going to believe this one..."Jazz muttered... "It's the most petty thing I've ever heard of..."She said.

Tucker just sent her a look.

"We're talking about a guy who wants to waste your dad because he stuck his face too close to a ghost portal..." Tucker said in a deadpan tone.

Jazz knew that he had a point as she continued to tell him her theory.

"Okay, here is what I just learned..."Jazz began to tell him everything.

With Danny

Danny had just figured out Vlad's evil plan, just in time for his former dates Kim, Jen, Angelica and Felicia to show up and make things awkward for hims and Kara.

And for all he knows, there are probably more on their way. You never know with Vlad.

Only he could make bringing a bunch of nice, pretty girls who once liked him being in the same place as a bad thing. Not that he had anything against his other former dates, but if three was a crowd, then six was a stadium.

A stadium of girls who wanted to date him once.

"This is like a fantasy since puberty gone wrong..."He thought miserably...."Whatever Vlad might also have planned, none of this will end well..."

"Come on, Danny..."Kara said as she still had her arm around him.

Due to the next competition happening soon and that they'd either have to go to their teams or seats soon (and in Danny's case, keeping an eye on Vlad) they had to leave.

"Right..."He said as he was walking arm and arm with Kara, while Felicia walked a little too close by.

Kim, Jen and Angelica followed, to go to their own teams and seats (and secretly, to keep an eye on Felicia too). Kara looked at Danny, but she could still feel Felicia staring at them.

It was really starting to tick her off

"Just what is this girl's issue?..."Kara thought, still getting a bad feeling from her.

She is not the only one. The other girls had their own opinions about the platinum blonde girl's lack of tact.

"Who does this girl think she is?..."Jen thought, looking peeved and maybe mildly paranoid.

"And I thought Bonnie could be a problem..."Kim thought as she looked at Felicia with disapproval and maybe some envy.

"Hmpt! I don't see what's so hot about this Felicia girl..."Angelica thought as she saw some guys mooning over her as they walked by.

"Vlad has really sunk a new low..."Danny thought as he tried to hope to maintain peace here as they kept walking.

"Keep calm, Kara. You are better than this..."The Kryptonian girl thought, trying to calm herself.

Felicia can't read minds but she could guess what they are thinking but she never did care what others thought, unless they were someone she had any interest in.

Like Danny.

Sure, she has no shortage of admirers, but most of them are morons who only want her for her looks and are about as interesting as a bag of dirt. None of them can give her the kind of thrills that she can experience when faced off against a certain wall crawler...or a cute ghost boy.

Yeah, she still liked the web-head a little bit, not enough to surrender to him when they face off, hardly. She has her career as a thief to think about...plus, it's fun fighting him) but Danny is pretty special too.

He was funny, sweet and a perfect gentleman who saw her as a person and not some high class arm candy. Not to mention, he could give her a real thrilling challenge, he seems to live a really exciting double life, and he can be pretty funny when he tries to be. It was a real darn shame he wasn't single but just because he was in a relationship didn't mean she couldn't have a little bit of fun with him and if worse comes to worse, she has a trump card if needed.

Hopefully, she won't NEED to.

Who knows? Summer romances more often than not have an expiration date on them, so maybe his would come up soon or she could transfer to Casper High and they could REALLY have some fun then.

Oh, yes, that sounds like a real fun idea.

The stunning blonde sent a look to the nervous boy who, whether he realizes or not, caught her interest in more ways than one, as well as the other blonde who still had her arm around him protectively.

Maybe after she did this job for her employer, she might be able to get him away from the little farmer's daughter here.

That sounded fun too.

"Better take good care of him, Metropolis...or someone might be temped to snatch him away..."Felicia thought with a smirk.

Kara frowned, she could practically hear what this girl was thinking and she hated that it was about HER man.

She now understood what Vlad was up to now. This wasn't an evil plot, this was to drive a wedge between her and Danny by bringing his past dates, some of which seem to still like him. And one of them, at least, seems to have no concept of the girl code.

This was irritating but she wasn't going to give in to Vlad's manipulations.

She was stronger than this.

THEY were stronger than this.

She has nothing but respect for Kim Possible, while Jen was at least respectable and Angelica backed off when she realized Danny was taken. This Felicia, however, tested her patience almost as much as Deadpool.

"At least he's someone I can get away with punching at full strength... "She thought.

Danny sighed.

This situation was starting to sound like a B-movie plot, only it could have AAA action involved and not in the way the ghost boy would like, such as a team up.

"This is going to be a long day..." Danny thought to himself as he mentally prepared himself.

The announcer called on the speaker for the next event to be held: ice hockey.

"ATTENTION! ALL PLAYERS FOR ICE HOCKEY RETURN TO YOUR STATIONS IN 20 MINUTES..." A voice on the speakers called out.

"Well, that's my queue..." Jen said as she walked to Danny..."Wish me luck, Danny..."The hockey player couldn't help but say.

Danny nodded, taking the chance to get away from Felicia. She really was a nice girl but the situation(being surrounded by four of his former dates) was not good for his health.

"Uh, you do realize that he is from Casper High and his friend is competing..."Kim said.

"It's not in ice hockey, is it?..."Jen asked.

"No, track..."He explained.

"Then I can ask for luck..." Jen blurted out as she covered her mouth.

A blush encompasses her face as Kim, Kara, and Angelica stared. Felicia just sported a know-it-all smirk.

"Sorry..." the red headed hockey player said. "It just kinda...came out..."

The rest of the girls still stared but Kara decided to take mercy on her, since at the very least, so far, she has backed off.

"You know what? Good luck to you guys as well..."Kara said.

That made the girls smile. Jealousy aside, most of them were good sports though it didn't erase the previous events.

"Yeah, and don't worry, I'll be rooting for you..." Danny said with a thumb's up.

That got Jen to smile.

"Thanks..."

However, before Jen could leave, Felicia pressed into Danny.

"So... what's your friend like? Is it a boy... as cute as you?..." She asked.

Instead of going, Jen, like the rest, glared daggers at Felicia.

"No... Sam's a girl..." Danny explained and Felicia pulled back.

"Hmm... I see..."Felicia said while Kara looked annoyed and the others barely tried to hide a snicker.

"Anyway, I better go back to my team.."Jen said.

"I better go back to my squad too, good luck, Jen..."Kim said..."And it was nice to see you Danny..."

"Same to you, good luck..."Danny said and Kara nodded as Kim walked away.

Angelica kept glaring at Felicia, but seeing as that she wasn't going to get anything out of this, might as well go do her chaperone duties

"I better go too..." Angelica said..."Who knows what trouble my cousins have gotten into without me..." She said.

"It was nice seeing you again, Angelica..."Danny said nicely.

"Yeah, thanks..."The blonde girl said, looking longingly at Danny for a moment before walking off.

"Nice work, Pickles..." She thought miserably before kicked a can in frustration.

At the very least, she lost Danny to someone like Kara, instead of Felicia or worse Savannah Shane.

At least, she can take SOME comfort in that fact.

If Savannah was dating Danny , she'd rub it in Angelica's face like there was no tomorrow, while Kara at the very least didn't do that.

That's something...right?

With Angelica gone, Kara recalled that they had to do something.

"We should probably be heading to our seats too..."Kara said.

"Yeah..." Danny said.

However, Felicia made her presence known again.

"You are right, we should..."Felicia said and Kara sent another glare at her.

"I am not the jealous type. I am not the jealous type..."Kara mentally reminded herself as she wrapped her arms protectively around Danny.

"Actually, Felicia, is it? I just remembered, we need to be somewhere... the two of us... not here..."Kara said, with some edge in her tone.

"That so?..."Felicia said.

"Yes..." Kara said sharply.

Before Felicia could say anything , Kara dragged her boyfriend away.

Felicia pouted, before smirking.

"Okay, Metropolis. Let the games begin..."Felicia said in determination as she walked away.

Unknown to her, someone had just witness the entire thing, or rather two someones.

It was Carl, who was watching the entire event with his sort-of-girlfriend Ashley. They had just witness Danny being surrounded by five hot girls, and that one of them had been VERY friendly with him too before Kara dragged him away.

They also noticed that one of them seemed familiar for some reason.

"Was that Kim Possible?..."Ashley asked in disbelief while Carl looked excited.

"I knew it! She really was one of Danny's dates..."Carl said, looking even more impressed now.

"Wasn't one of those girls the captain of the Canadian Ice Hockey Team?..."Ashly asked.

"I heard that Danny also went out with a Canadian girl who slapped Dash. You think she was it?..."He questioned.

"If she is, then she's awesome..." Ashly said, happy someone gave Dash some karmic justice.

Last year, she went out with him, but he stood her up one time to go to the movies with Paulina and she has loathed him ever since. He was nothing like Carl, who so far, has been nothing but respectful and even when he did something wrong, he quickly apologized.

He is a nice guy and she realized that was more important than dating some meat head jock who cares only about himself.

Meanwhile, Carl looked mildly jealous.

"Oh man, why do some guys have all the luck..."Carl muttered and Ashley frowned at that.

"Why do some girls, you mean?..."She muttered.

Looks like Danny's new found status really wasn't unearned after all, since it was obvious those girls still had a thing for him but since Kara is Danny's girlfriend, they can't do anything. It sort of impressed her that Danny was sticking to Kara, even with that platinum blonde girl practically throwing herself at him, which did not impress her as the girl seems to have no regard for the girl code.

"Hmpt, hasn't she have any concept of the girl code?..."She muttered.

"What?..."Carl said, not getting it and Ashley sighed.

"Nothing..."Ashley said at him.

Carl really is a sweet guy once you get to know him but it seems his observation skills leave something to be desired.

Why did all the good ones have to be so clueless?

With Danny and Kara

The two soon managed to arrive to their seats, just a bit before the track competition, which is still their alibi.

"Finally..." Kara went.

"You okay, Kara?..." Danny asked.

Before she could answer, another blonde was sitting next to them.

It is Felicia.

"So, what did I miss?..."Felicia asked and Danny sighed.

"Felicia? Why are you here?..."He asked, not to be mean but he is tirwd of this.

"Well... I'm not needed for my school right now... so I thought I'd kill time..." She said with a smile.

Kara narrowed her eyes, trying hard NOT to use her heat vision right now.

Just then, Tucker and Jazz came over

"Danny, we figure-..."

Tucker stopped when he saw the really hot blonde again. Tucker repeated his mantra in his head that he had a serious girlfriend and that he wasn't he wasn't going to ogle her.

Danny saw their staring and sighed.

"Jazz... Tucker, this is Felicia Hardy, she was one of my dates from last summer..." Danny said

Jazz looked at Felicia, her own jaw dropping a bit. Felicia saw it and giggled.

"Careful, don't wanna catch flies..."The blonde teased.

Jazz snapped out and closed her mouth.

"Oh, uh...Hi..."Jazz said, though she still looked at her strangely..."No wonder Danny was famous at Horizon if he caught HER interest..."Jazz thought, still in disbelief since appearance wise, the girl looked like a super model.

Still, how did that happen? Sure, she knows her brother is a good guy but this girl seems, well.. out of his league.

"Uh, is something wrong?..."Felicia asked and Jazz snapped out of it.

"Oh, uh, it's nothing..."Jazz said awkwardly, on the inside, she is wanted this girl as far away from her brother as possible.

Felicia eyed Jazz like a cat looked at a mouse for some reason.

"And you are?..."Felicia asked.

Jazz blinked, wondering why her voice sounded familiar, before addressing her.

"His sister..." Jazz said .

Felicia's expression changed slightly, going from seeing her as possible competition to just another bystander.

"A pleasure..."She said as she extended her hand to her and Jazz shook it to be polite.

"Right..." Jazz said, not buying it.

Felicia then felt her phone vibrating and frowned as she realized who it might be.

"Actually, I just remembered that I promised to go meet with a classmate of mine and give them a hand with his gear..."Felicia said.

"Really?..." Kara asked, the odd look on her face making it look like it wasn't true.

"It was nice meeting you all..."Felicia said, before sending a flirtatious look to Danny.

"Bye, Danny..."Felicia said flirtatiously before blowing a kiss.

"Oh man..."Danny blushed deeply while Kara crossed her arms and looked ticked.

"Take care, Metropolis..."Felicia said before walking off.

Once she was gone, Kara then noticed that she had been gripping on one of the railings and it was dented a bit. The others noticed and were glad that she has her moral code.

"So, that was Felicia, huh?..."Tucker said, still marveling over her looks.

"Yeah..."Danny said as he turned to Kara.

She was glaring holes in the back of Felicia's head, thankfully not literally.

"So, I was right. Vlad really did this just to humiliate you..."Jazz said.

"And the worst part, it worked..."Danny groaned.

Sure, he was happy to see some old friends and despite Felicia's flirting, the girls meant well but Vlad really sunk a new low to spite him.

"That's just... petty..." Jazz said

"You said it..."Kara said.

"There is another problem..."Tucker said.

"What is it?..."Danny asked in dread.

"Who's gonna break the news to Sam?..."Tucker asked.

It was then that Danny realized that they STILL had a big problem left.

"Darn it, I forgot about her..."Danny said, wondering if there was time to go talk to her.

"You should run there, let her know what your archenemy is up to." Kara said.

Danny was about to. However, it was then that they saw that the track competition was starting and that they are too late.

"Oh man..."Danny thought, not wanting to imagine how mad she will be when it is all over.

With Sam

Sam knelt down, getting ready to run. Besides her was Alex Danvers who was still glaring at her and on her right, was some girl from Middleton called Monique. The other two were some brunette from Horizon High and some random girl from the Canadian school.

Sam tried to ignore the glare from Alex, the sounds of the thousands of people here all cheering for their schools and seeing her in this humiliating attire. She just wanted to do this competition, end it and then get out of here.

"Here goes everything..."She muttered, just wanting to get this over with.

The sooner this even was over with, the sooner she could rip this shirt off and put on her normal gothic attire.

Soon, the referee arrived.

"Athletes, ready...set...go!..."The referee shouted.

The gun was shot and the athletes started running. Sam started running but paced herself, seeing no reason to go all out at the start.

"Go Sam..." Danny and Tucker cheered.

Sam smiled, passing a girl from Middleton and and soon the student from Horizon High and from the Canadian school. She soon found herself in the lead, but in her peripheral vision, she saw Alex catching up to her. She also saw that look from earlier, only worse.

The scowl on her face hinted that it wasn't just competitiveness that she is feelinòg right now. Not only that, but Middleton and Horizon High's athletes were also running fast and catching up again.

All the while, Sam is getting mad and...something else.

Especially with Alex getting close and still sending her that look.

Sam narrowed her eyes.

"Okay, you wanna play that way..."She thought.

While the pink uniform was frustrating for her, the thought of Danver's was so frustrating, that it gave her an adrenaline burst that gave her enough fuel to put a distance between them.

Sam decided to go all out, even without her personal exercise routine. Hey, even goths had to take care of themselves

Anyway, she kept running as fast as she could and saw in the lead. However, Alex was catching up to her and, when she saw the chance, elbowed her in the side. Sam growled, about to lash out at the girl before she stopped herself

No, she wasn't going to hit Kara's kind of sister/ best friend, no matter how volatile she is being right now...at least not yet.

However, seeing Alex send her a nasty glare before looking ahead made Sam want to assault her, but she stopped for the sake of the plan.

"I really should take anger management classes!..." The goth girl thought as she kept running but Alex seemed to be catching up to her and saw now passing her.

Sam saw that and frowned.

Then, something sparked inside of her.

"Just because I don't wanna be here... doesn't mean I wanna lose to them!..." Sam thought.

And so, just as she picked up the pace and went faster and found herself neck and neck with Alex, running at full speed towards the finish line. However, at the last moment, the girl from Middleton pulled ahead and in less than a second, it was all over and Sam found her self in second place and Alex in third place.

"Oh well..."The goth thought as she stopped to catch her breath.

For a girl who didn't even wanna be here in the first place, that wasn't half bad but she is not focusing on that.

"And so... first place goes to Monique from Middleton High!..."The announcer said and the crowds cheered.

Sam let out an exhausted breath her heart was racing as she slowed down

"And second place goes to Sam from Casper High!..."The announcer said and Sam groaned.

"Who cares...?" She said under her breath.

She would have left, had it not been for hearing this.

"Nice going, Sammykins!..."Someone shouted cheerfully.

Huh?..." Sam looked up and, to her surprise, she saw her parents cheering for her and her grandmother was taking pictures.

For what could be counted as the first time, the Manson's seemed genuinely happy for their daughter.

Their smiles were real and they didn't act distant.

"Huh... I've never heard them cheer for me before..." She thought.

"You were great, bubeleh..." Nana cheered next to her dad.

"Nicely done, Sweetheart..." Her dad went.

For reasons she cannot explain, Sam smiled a bit. Sure, her parents were controlling and judgmental of her friends but that didn't mean she didn't care about them.

"Maybe this wasn't so bad..." The girl muttered to herself.

But the moment didn't last as the goth noticed a girl she was running from earlier, a certain girl from Metropolis names Danvers.

"Uh-oh..."She thought.

With that, Sam went to her locker room to change and escape. A few minutes later, Sam was just happy that this was over and she can finally take off this silly uniform.

She soon found her friends and Kara.

"I just humiliated myself and went against everything I believe in, please tell me that you figured out what Vlad is up to..."Sam said.

"Well, we did and you are not going to like this..."Danny said, already predicting how she is going to react.

Danny quickly explained what happened

This was Sam's reaction.

"Are you saying, that I wore PINK in front of a million people...because Vlad is pulling a PRANK?!..."Sam tried very hard not to yell this as they could not bring attention to themselves.

"Uh, looks like it..."Kara said and saw Sam's expression get worse now.

Sam felt her blood pressure go through the roof and Danny and Tucker actually felt intimidated by the sight of it.

"The first chance I get...I am going to cram that cheesehead into a thermos and toss it into the carnivorous canyon..."Sam whispered in a furious tone.

Kara, being braver, kept talking to the fuming gothic girl.

"And it get's worse..." Kara said.

"What can be worse than that?!..."Sam questioned.

"Lex Luthor is here..."Kara answered and Sam's furious look soon replaced with a shock one.

"That corporate tyrant from Metropolis?..."Sam questioned.

"The very same..."Kara said.

"What could he want here?..."Sam questioned.

"That is something I'd like to find out..."Kara said.

Meanwhile

On the field

After the track competition ended, up next would be the football competition but things have been delayed due to an unforeseen event of sabotage from the home team, who were currently being scolded by their coach.

"I should bench the lot of you!..." Testlaff shouted angrily to three of her players.

Dash and the football players, tried to argue.

"Come on coach, that's not fair!..." Dash complained.

"Dale's the one who cheated!..."Steve pointed out.

"Yeah, it was Dale who took the cleats, not us..."Dash said, throwing his buddy under the bus.

"Hey!..."Dale yelled.

"Shut it!..." Coach Tetslaff commanded as she pinched her nose.

She couldn't believe the predicament. This sports festival was the first of many, and her team gets caught stealing. If they didn't play now...well, the future consequences would be grim.

There was only one thing to do.

"Dale, you are out of the game..."Tesslaff said and the jocks looked upset.

"But Coach Tesslaff, we need our running back..."Dash said.

"Actions have consequences. Use one of the bench warmers then, just be happy that Barkin and the school representatives aren't disqualifying the whole team..."Tesslaff said..."Or pressing charges..." She thought at the moment.

Heck, she had half a mind just to forfeit as a show of good faith to Barkin but she really wanted to teach these boys a lesson.

"But I am the best running back we've got, you guys need me..."Dale shouted.

"You should have thought about that before you tried to cheat..."Tesslaff yelled as she and the principal took Dale away for further punishment.

With Dale taking the whole blame due to Dash's threats, the blonde was now realizing that they have a huge handicap now and that they will be facing off against the Middleton Maddogs, who have been undefeated this whole season.

And their quarterback did not look happy because of the attempt at cheating.

"Oh no..."Dash gulped as he did not like where this is going.

Middleton's giant quarterback was coming towards them and he looked ticked off and with him were some other players.

"What do you guys want?..." Dash said, trying to sound brave but instead of sounding like the king of Casper high,he sounded like a scared puppy dog

"Relax, we're not going to beat you up..."The quarterback, Brick said.

"You're not?..."Dash questioned.

"No, we'll save that for the field..."Brick said.

"Yeah, this whole event is live..."One of the players said..."So, we're going to give them a good show while playing fair..."He added, smirking darkly.

"We'd go easy on you but the last time was too easy as it was..."He said and Brick nodded.

Usually, he is a pretty mellow guy but even Brick has no patience for cheaters and sore losers, like these clowns.

Dash grit his teeth, they didn't even think they were a challenge that he wasn't good enough for them to try.

"Oh yeah, well we don't even need Dale, we'll show you!..."Dash said.

"We'll see..."Brick said as he and his team left to go get ready for the big game.

All the while, Kwan gulped. He recalled the last game against Middleton had been a really bad one and those guys didn't have a grudge against them then...unlike right now.

"This is gonna hurt..."He said in dread and some of the other jocks nodded.

Dash heard this and gritted his teeth.

"I don't care if Fenton has nothing to do with this, I'm taking this out on him if we lose..."Dash muttered under his breath, his anger just barely covering his fear right now.

In the stands

A certain group of nerds were in the stands, one of them with a camera in their hand.

"Looks like Dash is gonna be up against Brick again..."Nathan said with a smirk.

Mikey pulled out his camera and started filming.

"The online geek community is going to love this..."Mikey said as the referee blew his whistle and Dash and the other jerks began to play against the Middleton Maddogs.

It went as well as expected. The Maddogs, being better trained and not wasting their time harassing other students instead practicing, were stomping the Ravens into the ground.

As the geeks filmed the humiliation, they were unaware that so many events were taking place all around the area and that soon, things will get even more complicated.

More complicated, indeed.
