Chapter 19

Ashford Academy

After they completed their mission of rescuing Suzaku, Kallen and Lelouch went their separate ways from the rest of the resistance group, letting them know that they'll meet up when Kallen shares information with them from Lelouch.

As they finally came back to Ashford Academy, they hurried towards the dormitory as it was very light when they got back.

As they walked in, they headed towards the dining room where they saw Nunnally was doing oragami with C.C. and Sayako. Lelouch and Kallen looked at all the different cranes that were in a nice pile next to Nunnally where Sayako sat.

"Nunnally, we're back," Lelouch stated as he walked over to her and placed a gentle hand on his shoulder.

"Oh! Welcome back big brother. Welcome back Kally," Nunnally stated with a happy smile as she placed her hand over her brother's and reached her hand out for Kallen, who walked over and gently held the young girl's hand in hers.

"Oh we were watching the news about Suzaku and how he escaped. I hope he's alright and I hope he still remembers us," Nunnally stated with a frown on her face before she gave a soft giggle when Lelouch gave her right cheek a gentle kiss.

"I'm sure he would never forget his friends, especially you Nunnally," Kallen stated as she gave Nunnally's left cheek a gentle kiss then leaned back.

Nunnally smiled happily as she let go of Lelouch's hand to place it on top of Kallen's other hand.

"I'll be right back," Lelouch stated as he grabbed C.C.'s arm and dragged her out of her chair and towards his bedroom.

"Kally, are you staying the night?" Nunnally asked, since she knows it must be pretty late outside.

"Yes, I hope you don't mind Nunna," Kallen stated with a gentle smile on her face.

"There is never a need for you to ask to come stay over. You are not only our friend from so long ago but you are also big brother's girlfriend. I'm sure he wants you here just as much," Nunnally stated with a cheeky grin on her face, causing Kallen to blush and roll her eyes.

"Lady Nunnally, perhaps I should put you to bed now before Lelouch wonders why you are past your curfew," Sayako stated as she got out of her chair and went behind Nunnally's wheelchair.

"I'd like to wait until brother comes back as I don't want to leave Kallen in here alone," Nunnally stated as she turned her head towards Sayako, who knew she was looking at her without looking at her.

"Of course, Lady Nunnally," Sayako stated as she smiled gently.

Kallen turned her gaze towards where Lelouch has disappeared off to with their Geass contractor.

'I wonder what he's up to now,' Kallen thought as she wondered why he drag C.C. off towards another room, but figured he didn't want Nunnally to hear about Geass.

Lelouch and C.C.

Lelouch had dragged C.C. towards his bedroom, knowing that the question he wants to ask her must be in private and away from the ears of Nunnally. He closed the door and turned his gaze towards C.C., who decided to sit down on his bed with a look of boredom on her face.

"Tell me more about my geass, immediately," Lelouch demanded, causing C.C. to roll her eyes and turn her gaze towards him.

"You're a smart boy, why can't you figure it out on your own then?" C.C. questioned with a smirk.

"As my contractor, you technically must tell me things so I don't make any mistakes with the power you have given me," Lelouch stated as he leaned against the door and crossed his arms, staring at C.C. with his violet purple eyes.

C.C. sighed and frowned as she thought about how to answer these demands of Marianne's son, whom she held deliver.

"Your Geass is Absolute Obedience, which means you can give a person a command and they will obey it whether they want to or not, however, like all power, there are limitations. If you use your ability too much, it'll become permanent with your eyes, which we luckily have some time before that happens. You cannot geass me nor any other immortal and your geass can only be used once per person," C.C. stated, though part of her was concerned about Kallen's geass as she was still unsure of why her other contractor had no idea she activated her ability.

Lelouch closed his eyes as he processed the information about his geass and wondered how he could incorporate them into his plans and such.

"Now, tell me about Kallen's Geass," Lelouch demanded.

"Her geass is another story as it's being dormant, which makes no sense to me whatsoever," C.C. was frustrated on why her female contractor's Geass was being so difficult.

Lelouch slowly smiled and shook his head as he knows to at least give Kallen some information on his geass and the limitations of both of their geasses.

"You can sleep in the guest room next to Sayako's room," Lelouch stated as he got off of the door and opened it to let C.C. out before he headed back to the dining room to wish Nunnally goodnight.

C.C. stood from the bed and walked over to him, before stopping.

"You and her must fulfil my wish in the end," C.C. stated before she left the room, followed by Lelouch who was silent from that statement.

When they had returned from their private conversation, they saw Kallen smiling and talking with Nunnally and Sayako before two pairs of eyes looked their way.

Lelouch walked over to Nunnally and got on her knees beside her to give her a hug and a kiss goodnight.

"Love you Nunnally, sleep well alright," Lelouch mumbled softly with a gentle smile on his face.

"Love you too big brother, good night. Night Kallen, night C.C.," Nunnally stated as Lelouch stood up and watched Sayako pull Nunnally's chair away from the table then wheeled it towards Nunnally's room where Sayako will tuck her in before she heads towards her own room.

"Night Nunnally," Kallen called out.

"NIght," C.C. stated.

Kallen slowly stood up and walked over to Lelouch's side before she turned her gaze towards C.C.

"I'll take you to the room you'll stay in if you don't mind," Kallen stated lightly, which C.C. agreed towards as the two girls headed towards one of the guest rooms within the dormitory.

C.C. and Kallen walked in silence before she stopped and opened a door that led towards another bedroom.

"Your room, C.C." Kallen stated with a slight smile, while C.C. nodded and walked in.

"Have a pleasant night," C.C. stated.

"You as well," Kallen stated as she closed the door and head towards Lelouch's side before she grabbed his hand and led him back to his bedroom.

Lelouch gave a gentle smile as they entered his bedroom and he shut the door.

"You're welcome to one of my shirts," Lelouch stated, which Kallen agreed and asked him to turn around, which he did as the gentleman that he was.

Kallen slowly undressed out of the outfit she was wearing for the day only to slip on one of Lelouch's button-up white shirts.

"All done," Kallen stated.

"Go ahead and lay down, I'll be right next to you soon," Lelouch stated as Kallen nodded and head towards the bed and lay down on it.

Lelouch grabbed his clothes that he wears for bed and changed into the clothing before he walked over to the other side of the bed and pulled the covers down to lay down.

Kallen smiled and giggled lightly when he had taken the blanket from under her just to place it over both of their bodies.

Lelouch and Kallen stared at one another before they kissed gently, Kallen's hand on Lelouch chest, while Lelouch's hand covered hers.

They leaned back and smiled at one another.

"What happens tomorrow?" Kallen asked.

"Now that Zero has been known to the public, they'll try and send someone to take me out like I was a rat," Lelouch stated as he closed his eyes but didn't fall asleep yet.

Kallen got closer so she could lay her head on his chest and hold onto him tightly.

Lelouch smiled and placed his arm closest to her around her so she would be more comfortable.

"What did you talk to C.C. about?" Kallen asked gently.

"Our geasses, which not much information was told about yours other than it's laying dormant for the moment," Lelouch mumbled.

"Hmm…tell me more," Kallen whispered as she was slowly falling asleep to the sound of Lelouch's heartbeat.

Lelouch smiled as he gently shared the information that she wanted to know as she fell asleep.

He looked at her and gave her a gentle kiss on her head before following her into sleep.

Sayako

After tucking Nunnally into bed, Sayako went around to check on the rest of the household to make sure they were tucked in and safe as was her job as both a maid and an assassin.

She smiled gently at Lelouch and Kallen asleep beside each other when she went to check on them before she checked on their houseguest.

After making sure she turned off all the lights and other electric appliances that were not needed for the night, she went to bed herself.

As she slowly fell asleep, she knew she will help be the sword that Lelouch asks her to be, whether it be for him, Nunnally, Kallen or the resistance he has accompanied himself with.

'That's my Master Lelouch and I swear to protect him, his sister and Kallen as long as I live,' Sayako swore to herself as she began to sleep, while alert to any possible dangers.
