Ahhh stop being such a downer, anyways viewers Heres the latest installment of Naruto the Guardian, I hope you enjoy got a little bit of that NaruHaku going on, as well as En-En so please enjoy!

Chapter 22 - Double Trouble?

"Oy kit...hey kit...WAKE UP!"

Naruto groggily opened his eyes "eh Kurama what do you want...Kurama?" Naruto shot up looking at his rock garden in his mindscape, the memories from the battle flooding his thoughts. "Kurama what...what did I do?"

"Well kit" Kurama lowered her massive head to be eye level with Naruto "I want to say you didn't do anything wrong but I'd be lying. You went berserk and attacked Haku and Hinata and said some not nice things. If not for Hinata unlocking her Tenseigan at the last moment you may very well have killed them."

"Tenseigan? Wha-"

"But if it helps" she continued "While I was in control I apologized to your teammates and they were fine."

"While you were in control?"

"Right..." she sweatdropped, she wasn't used to this, not sharing a memory with Naruto. "Do you remember during the failed training exercise, you were sent to the hospital and during your stay, I took over your body?"

"Yeah vaguely, I thought we agreed it was a freak accident though?"

"That's because it had never happened before. We thought it was just the seal messing up for a brief second because you used my chakra. Well when Hinata knocked you out, suddenly I was looking through your eyes and was in control of your body. Though I was able to help your team and Zabuza fight off Gato's bandit army because that still happened."

Naruto pinched the bridge of his nose "okay, so how long were you in control for Kurama?"

"A couple hours maybe? Your body continuously using my chakra drained it to the point of exhaustion. I was in control long enough to report it to your sensei, so she could have Jiraiya look at your seal. Oh I also had a chat with Hinata."

"Really what did you-" Kurama sent Naruto the memory of their talk and blushed "well that's not the least bit embarrassing Kurama."

"Well you would have beat around the bush about it or maybe not even have told her at all. So I did, now find a way to deal with it because I won't be able to-" Naruto faded away "keep you here for much longer.." she sighed "every time."

Out in the real world Naruto came to, his eyes still closed. His hand was holding something warm, soft and almost malleable. He squeezed it trying to figure out what it was, as he did he heard a small moan in his ear. Just as he heard it, he became aware of some kind of weight, not too heavy, on top of him. His eyes snapped open as he saw Hinata's sleeping form and exactly where his hand was. He blushed and quickly looked for a way out of his current situation.

He pulled his hand out of Hinata's cleavage and quickly made a clone. "Ohh nice one boss!" It said giving him a thumbs up

"Quiet" he hissed "substitute with me, I think I need to take a VERY cold shower."

The clone snickered "yeah that's what your going to do." It substituted with Naruto who let out a long breath, and glared at his clone.

"Don't try anything funny or-"

"Or what?" It asked "you'll beat me? Please one hit and I'm gone."

"Or I make as many clones as I can and kick your ass a thousand times!" Hinata made a small noise before cuddling up closer to Naruto, shutting the two up immediately. "Look by the time your chakra runs out she should be up. I'm leaving"

Naruto exited the room and slid down the hallway wall with a sigh, why did he do that? His clone looked so comfortable. But he panicked and now he was up. And awake. Though the idea of a bath did sound good to Naruto right about now. His body felt sore, whatever Hinata did , he didn't think he ever wanted to go through it again.

The smell of good food brought him to the kitchen where Kurenai sas sitting and Tsunami was cooking. "Ah hello there" Kurenai paused to look at his eyes before smiling "how are you feeling Naruto?"

Naruto sat down at the table"like I just went in a gauntlet match with my entire class."

"Sounds about right. So how is your.." she made a quick glance at Tsunami who had here back turned to them "gekkei genkai?"

"Under control for the time being, shouldn't have any problems for awhile."

"Good, now how much of yesterday do you remember? " Another gllance at Tsunami "I know that when your systems pumping full of adrenaline, it's hard to remember anything afterwards."

"I know what happened up until Gato and his goons showed up. That part is still a bit hazy, though I do remember talking to you afterwards."

Kurenai nodded and sipped her coffee "this is going to be one interesting conversation with the Hokage."

Naruto understood the double meaning in her words. How was he going to explain Kurama to Hiruzen? "Well I'm sure you'll have plenty of time to think about it." He'd think up an answer later "I assume we're staying long enough to see the bridge get done?"

Kurenai nodded again "yes Naruto, with Gato gone most of Wave is now offering to help. So it should be done by the end of the week, give or take, don't think that means you get to slack off either, when Ino and Hinata wake up we're going to be training."

"Speaking off Hinata.." he trailed off, no way Kurenai off all people would have allowed Hinata to sleep in the same room as Naruto, let alone sleep with him.

"What about her?"

Did she really not know? No way, she was a jonin the moment Hinata tried to sneak out of the room Kurenai would have known about it. "How is she?"

"Oh you don't remember, you two talked a little yesterday before you went to sleep. She's fine, just needs to regain her strength, oh and Ino's a little shaken but she's a strong woman."

Naruto stretched "that's good, Tsunami-san is there a bath house near here? I need a shower."

"Yeah just go to the main square there should be signs pointing the way. Oh I think Haku-san is there as well. He woke up earlier"

"Wait I thought they had set up their own camp?"

Kurenai answered the unasked question "turns out Gato sent a couple people to attack Zabuza ann Haku at their camp and when they found it empty tore apart all their camping supplies, Tazuna offered to let them stay here."

"Ahhh" Naruto said standing up "well I'll be back after I clean up." He popped out a scroll from a seal on his arm, always helps to have extra clothes on hand, literally. He snickered at his own joke "see ya later."

The bath house was in better shape than Naruto was expecting, not nearly as broken as the rest of Wave. "Figures Gato would keep this place up and running." Oh looks like its unisex, if his morning was anything to go off of this was going to be a trip. But he soldiered on and marched through the door.

After paying some ryu to use the bath house Naruto stepped into the main area, which was obscured by a thin paper wall. He saw a shadow on the other side and on his side he could see Haku's robes neatly folded with his mask on top and...bandage wrap? Maybe Haku got hit in yesterday's skirmish.

Naruto hoped they weren't because of him. But the good news was he didn't see anybody else's clothes so it would be just him and Haku. He walked through the door "hey Haku I-"

There he was having just stood up from the bath waters, maybe in an attempt to leave. But it was then Nafuto learned something he never did in the previous time. Haku's lower half was thankfully still under the water, but his or actually her upper half didn't have that same luxury and it was completely bare. 'Bu- bu- bu- Haku told me he was a guy.'

Sure he had seen Hinata naked that one time at a waterfall but that was at a distance. He had never been so close before.."ahhhhhHHHHHH" He said quietly before screaming as he rocketed into the wall due to a massive nose bleed while Haku quickly tried to cover her assets looking away with a blush.

"NA-NARUTO WHAT ARE YOU DOING?"

Her question fell on dead ears as Naruto lay on the ground stunned and dizzy.

Some time later

Naruto and Haku were sitting on the ground some feet apart, neither looking at the other out of embarrassment. "So..." Naruto said awkwardly trying to start some semblance of a conversation.

"So..." she responded equally as awkward.

Dammit he'd just have to bull through "you told me you were a guy."

"I did."

"I'm sorry I barged in there like that."

"It's my fault Naruto, though now is a good opportunity to change the topic and thank you for saving me yesterday."

"About that, it's kinda fuzzy for me, how exactly did I save you."

Haku brushed some wet hair out of her eyes "I just lost my footing, and someone was going to take advantage of that. But you got him before he got me. But speaking of yesterday, I do have some questions for you..."

The way she trailed off made Naruto freeze as he realized something. In his rage induced state he had talked about Haku's past, that she had yet to share with him...'DAMMIT! How am I going to explain that?'

"Are you referring to how I knew your past?" She nodded "would you believe me if I told you it was a lucky guess?"

"Really Naruto, that's the best you can come up with?"

Naruto sighed well telling the truth was always an option "I'm going to tell you how I knew and you're not going to believe me."

Haku raised an eyebrow "try me."

"I'm from the future, five years to be exact."

"You..you're from the future?"

"Yup, and in the past, my past, things happened different, tell me in that dream you had that Zabuza mentioned the other day did you see us in a field or were you fighting me and a black haired boy on the bridge?"

Haku leaned back in surprise how in the hell? "Fighting" she said curtly.

"Yeah you see in the past, my past, things happened a little bit differently. The civil war in Kiri didn't end for at least another year or two, which means Mei never re-recruited Zabuza and you. Which in turn lead to Gato hiring Zabuza to kill Tazuna which lead to you two fighting us."

"Okay..." she said suspiciously she couldn't tell if he was trying to pull her leg or actually telling the truth and that scared her. "And how does this end with me telling you my past?"

"Well a week before we fought on the bridge Zabuza fought my sensei, who at the time was a different Jonin named Kakashi, as it looked like Kakashi was going to kill him you put him in a death like sleep using acupuncture and your senbon, putting him out of action for a week but Kakashi used up too much chakra and he was ALSO out for a week. During that week they were recuperating you found me passed out and exhausted in a field we talked and became friends."

"Get to the point please."

"Well during our fight on the bridge, you seemingly killed my teammate which lead to me using the Nine tail's chakra, and during our fight I knocked your mask off and couldn't bring myself to kill you. You asked me to, saying that you were a broken tool unfit to serve Zabuza anymore. I said why and you explained to me how you were mistreated as a child." Naruto looked away, sad "after I learned how alike we were I couldn't do it. I thought I had a chance of finally being friends, but then you jumped in front of Kakashi-sensei's jutsu and.."

Haku nodded, he had just explained in detail the dream she had. Including her..death. "Let's say I believe you Naruto, why were you sent back in time or how?"

He chuckled "believe it or not Kami did it. I messed something up and she sent me back in time to fix it."

"Kami huh? And you messed something up?"

"It's hard to explain without showing you okay? Somebody bad got unsealed and I was supposed to reseal her. Instead I chose to kill her using myself as a living bomb. Needless to say some people were not to happy with me over that decision."

"And my dream?"

"Forgive me if this sounds confusing but I barely understand it myself. The way Kami explained it to me was like this okay? Basically because she sent me back in time two, time lines were created" he drew two lines in the dirt, much like Kami had done for him "but because Time doesn't like to be messed with, these two are merging to become one, and residual time energy, I think, is seeping through in this reality giving people dreams, or visions more correctly, of a time that no longer exists."

Haku just stared at Naruto, who shrugged "told you, you wouldn't believe me."

Haku hugged her knees not exactly sure what to think. 'The future, seriously...though that would explain how he knew about my dream..and my past..is it really too far fetched to believe?' She looked over to Naruto who was resting on his elbows staring at the sky.

"Okay so you're from the future, now what?"

Naruto shrugged again "I try and fix my mistake, plain and simple."

"And that's resealing this mysterious person?"

"That or stop her from being unsealed in this first place."

"Right-" she wanted to say more but Hinata came rushing over to them.

"Naruto-kun!" She ran up to the now standing blonde and gave him a big hug. It made Haku stop for a second and ponder on Naruto's words the other day.

'Rising above my station huh?'

"Are you okay Naruto-kun?"

"Yeah Hina-chan I'm fine."

Haku also rose "well if you'll excuse me, I need to get back to Zabuza-sama, thank you Naruto-san. Our conversation was...enlightening if nothing else." She gave a small bow before disappearing in a splash of water.

"What was that about Naruto-kun?"

"Eh ran into Haku, found out he is actually a she, and ended up telling her everything about being from the future."

Hinata's hair covered her eyes, as the rest of Naruto's words fell absent on her "and how exactly did you figure out Haku was a women?" She asked darkly.

"Ugh..." Naruto started backing away slowly holding his hands up "um..."

Hinata took a step forward "Naruto-kun answer my question."

"mighthavewalkedinonhernakedwhileshewasexistingthebath" he said quickly.

Hinata's head twitched and that scared the absolute shit out of him. A shiver of death went down Naruto's head, and he could swear he could see something vaguely shaped like the Shinigami looming behind Hinata. "Naruto-kun" she said softly then she stepped forward and her tenseigan was actively glaring at Naruto. "YOU DID WHAT!"

The building shook and the wooden floor boards groaned and when it settled down Naruto was sitting down slumped with several bumps on his forehead and body. "Hina-chan" he said weakly "I didn't know.."

Hinata gasped as she realized what she had done. "Naruto-kun i'm so sorry" she knelt down to help him up "I don't know what came over me."

"Freakin psychopath"

"Hey shut it you, I don't wanna hear it from the guy who talks to a fox in his head"

"Hey, you know I'm talking to Kurama."

"Now explain that to someone who doesn't know your a jinchuriki" she said with a whistle.

Naruto sweatdropped, first she was super creepy, then sorry now sassy? He seriously didn't understand women at all.

Hinata puffed and crossed her arms "but at least I was right about her though. New from the moment I saw Haku she wasn't a he."

"Okay what's up with you? First you attack me and now you're pretending like it didn't even happen?"

"What?" Hinata said slightly erked "I said I was sorry, drama queen."

"You put five nots on my head, and if it weren't for the fox I'd have a broken rib, I'd say this is an adequate amount of drama!"

"Ok fine" she said in a whine "I'll tell you" her head slouched. Now she was depressed? "During my fight with Sozun some of his chakra got in my system, I think he was planning to do to me what he had done to you while he was fighting Haku. Activating my Tenseigan diluted it I think? It's mostly filtered out of my chakra system at the now but it's making me act erratically. I'm sorry Naruto-kun."

Naruto sweatdropped again. Mood swings, because that's what he needed from his girlfriend right now. But that did remind him.."speaking of your Tenseigan what is it exactly?"

"Oh" Hinata closed her eyes and focused pulling that power out from within her, and like last time the air began swirling around her lifting up dust and dirt and teal chakra outlined her form, before opening her eyes showing the Tenseigan. "Kamin told me this is what happens when you mix Otsutsuki and Hyuga genes."

Naruto got close to examine Hinata's eyes "okay cool, now what does it do?"

"I don't know exactly, I think it might be relatable to the Rinnegan? For now its giving me a power boost as well as all the things the Byakugan could do. Though we do have a problem." Naruto could take a guess, even though she only had it activated for a few seconds there was a thin line of sweat forming on her forehead.

"Let me guess, uses a lot of chakra?"

"Well yeah that but since I activated it, I haven't been able to activate my Byakugan at all."

"What, do you think it's gone?"

"Maybe? Everytime I try to activate it, I end up turning on the Tenseigan instead. Even if I run through the hand seals to turn on the Byakugan."

Naruto bit his lip thinking. That was bad, how do they explain this new dojutsu to the Leaf and, more importantly, her family? "Once word gets around you have a never before seen or heard of lord knows how your clan elders are going to act to take advantage of that."

"Well what ever happens we'll handle it to-"

"GET OUTTA MY WAY! COMING THROUGH! MOVE DAMN IT!"

Naruto and Hinata turned their heads down the road, coming from that direction was some sort of rather loud commotion. And suddenly charging down the road was a familiar looking Inuzuka, with a dog beside him. Naruto stretched still sore muscles "Hinata" and he ran. That was all they needed to say as both of them ran at the missing nin.

Said missing nin saw them and started cursing his luck. "Come on really? The one direction i choose and it leads me to you two." As he was running he smirked and cracked his knuckles "well guess what, there isn't any Swordsman to save you this time."

He and his companion jumped and started spinning "double fang over fang"

Naruto grinned and stopped for a second to let Hinata get in front of him. Both of them, having fought side by side and sparred against another Inuzuka, knew what to do. Hinata jumped to meet the technique and started spinning counter clockwise to it "Eight Trigrams: Palms Rotation!"

The two clashing jutsu canceled each other out and both landed softly on their feet. The Inuzuka glared "right, new there was a reason I hated fighting-" he stopped and jumped as several metal chains shot from the ground under him and flailed trying to catch him. He huffed "seriously can I catch a brea-".

Again he was interrupted this time by Hinata who leapt in front of him and was currently trying to tag him with juken strikes. And she was getting close to hitting him. Unfortunately he wasn't as worn down by his fight with Kurenai as she had thought. He grabbed her wrist and threw her into the air triumphantly, "Now Kasamaru!"

But nothing happened and Hinata regained her composure and landed on her feet. "Kasamaru what the hell?" He looked to his side and the dog barked "what do you mean you won't-" he barked again and the Inuzuka narrowed his eyes at Hinata "of course she would be. But that just means I'm going to enjoy what comes next that much more."

He stepped left as more chains jumped out, this time he had seen the blond shove his hands into the ground right before they appeared. But one swift chop from his hand shattered the chains as a new found determination entered his eyes.

"Okay question who are you?" Naruto asked getting ready to make more chains.

"Names Fēng kid but you'll be dead to soon to tell anyone, even if my stupid dog won't attack you. I'll just discipline him later." The dog whined when he said that "shut it you" he snapped. As he approached Hinata a fury blur passed him and standing growling at him , lips peeled back growling at him was Kasamaru.

"Are..are you defending me?" Hinata asked, confused. She didn't understand, weren't ninken trained to be absolutely loyal to their ninja? Did that mean Kasamaru wasn't Fēng's original ninken? But then why would Kasamaru have followed Fēng for so long? It was then she saw them, just visible underneath Kasamaur's fur. Scars and burn marks.

"Oh so now you betray me you mutt? Just one sniff and that's all it took, seriously? Looks like I'll have to retrain you, harder this time."

Kasamaru growled again his fur raised to its limits "you really think that scares me, at the height of your power you couldn't beat me."

Hinata stepped forward "yeah but now he has help" she placed a hand on Kasamaru's head and scratched it "I won't let you hurt him any more."

"Heh, think you're a hero girly? Please Hitoma could barely stop me, and you are nowhere near as strong as she was."

Hinata gasped "how do you know my mother?"

The Inuzuka laughed and opened his mouth before rolling out of the way as several senbon landed at his feet. "Okay I'm getting real tired of being cut off...shit." He was now staring at Haku and Zabuza "well i guess that means play times up kiddies, Kasamaru you will regret betraying me."

He threw a smoke bomb on the ground and soon vanished in its black mist.

Zabuza and Haku didn't say a word and followed him in hot pursuit. Hinata dropped her stance and looked at Naruto "hey Naruto-kun do you love me?"

Naruto fell to the ground with a sweatdrop, where did that come from? "Excuse me?"

"Do you love me?"

"Why..." he trailed off voicing his confusion

"Because I told you yesterday that I loved you and you didn't say it back and I don't know how I feel about that."

If his sweatdrop could have gotten bigger it would have "seriously Hinata? You know I wasn't in control yesterday."

"I know, that's why I'm asking now."

Naruto sighed "yes Hinata I do-"

"Thanks Naruto-kun" she got on her tiptoes and kissed his forehead "I'll see you at Tazuna's house." And happily skipped away, Kasamaru following right at her heels.

Naruto swore he grew a grey hair. He hoped Hinata wasn't going to stay like this. But first they had to figure something out. "Hinata wait!"

Hinata stopped and turned her head also confused "what is it Naruto-kun?"

Naruto caught up to her and put a hand on Kasamaru "what are we going to do about him?"

Hinata and Kasamaru both tilted their heads in unison "where going to take him back to the Inuzuka right?" Kasamaru barked "see he likes the idea."

"Okay? I just hope they accept him."

"Hinata! Naruto! The Inuzuka's escaped have you seen him?!" Kurenai asked as she ran up to them and slid to a halt as she noticed Kasamaru "um..." she asked with a raised eyebrow.

Naruto shrugged "we ran into him and Kasamaru attacked him trying to defend Hinata, Fēng seemed to know something about Hinata's mother."

"Well I'm not at all surprised that Fēng would no about Hitoma-sama."

"Kurenai-sensei you know about my mother?"

"Well before certain events happened" she cast a glance at Hinata "Hitoma was a feared jonin. A strong and competent kunoichi if the world had ever saw one. A lot of younger kunoichi like Anko and Myself looked up to her."

"By events do you mean the interaction that happened with my clan and the Inuzuka?"

Kurenai looked down "so your father told you that huh?"

Now Naruto was even more confused? "I'm sorry for asking but what happened?"

"Oh right Naruto-kun, I never told you...I'm actually part Inuzuka, my mother was Tsume-sama's older sister.

"Wait so all those times Kiba hit on you in class he was actually hitting on his cousin?" Naruto asked dumbfounded.

"Seriously Naruto, that's the first thing you could think of?"

"I mean yeah? That's a hard pill to swallow, Hinata doesn't even look the first bit like an Inuzuka, but it might be why Kasamaru won't attack her."

"Well Naruto-kun, that's a whole other story right there. I tell it to you later, for now I wanted to ask how you knew Kurenai-sensei?"

"Well Hitoma was a good friend to my jonin sensei when I was a genin, she'd ask Hitoma to spar with us while she was feeling under the weather."

"Your sensei was my mother Kushina right?"

Kurenai smiled "yeah she was Naruto. Oh the stories I could tell you, but at a later time, for now I need you to make some clones to go assist Tazuna. After that enjoy your day off, I need to make sure Ino is caught up to you two before we leave."

"Hey it's not our fault she preferred dieting to her training."

"Hinata!"

"Sorry Kurenai still dealing-"

"With the after effects of Sozun's jutsu I know, Naruto make the clones and I'll see you two later. Take this as an opportunity to learn the culture of a new place. I'm sure the people of Wave would be more than happy to show you." And she left, heading back towards the bridge.

Hinata looked at Naruto "so you decided to use your chakra chains Naruto-kun. Why don't you use them more often, they seem like they could be useful."

Naruto focused on his hand and several seconds later a single chain emerged from his wrist "I have to focus to long to actually make something. It's a bloodline that focuses more on chakra control than amount. Until I can make them almost at will I think it'll be to risky to use in battle unless I'm acting as some sort of support role."

"And in our team that would mean leaving me as the sole offensive attacker."

"Exactly, so basically I just need to work on it and get better chakra control, easier said than done honestly."

"Naruto!" He heard a voice snap around a corner.

It bolstered him into action "right sorry Kurenai-sensei, shadow clone jutsu, all right you lot know what to do." He turned back to Hinata and held her hand "hey Hina-chan let's go see if this place has any good ramen."

"Egh! " a blue skinned man who looked vaguely like a shark slammed into a wall slumping unconscious to t

he ground. He was surrounded by his equally unconscious comrades. The one thing they all had in common, they were all wearing black robes with red clouds.

In the center of this dimly lit cave stood a panting blue haired woman, an injured orange haired man surrounded by five other exhausted people with orange hair and their leader with the swirled orange mask, being held by the collar of his shirt. He was being held by a figure wearing a jade green mask shaped like a grinning cat.

"Who...who are you?" The man with the orange mask asked.

"That is none of your concern Uchiha" En-En replied as he violently snapped his captives neck. He looked over to the Pain's and Konan. "You lot, you work for me now."

"You can not defy me, I am god!" Pain shouted as he held out his hand "Almighty pu-"

En-En's hand clamped around Pain's lower jaw and slammed him into the ground, simultaneously all the other Pain's were sliced into several bloody ribbons. Kononan gasped in horror, and En-En got close to the lone Pain's face "I'd be careful about calling yourself a god Human. I am what the god's fear." He stared deep into Pain's eyes.

"Tell the one controlling you that you work for me now. And if I have to say it again then you all will die. Also" he waved his hand and another man appeared "this is Alistair, he'll be joining you. I suggest you find him a suitable partner. He'll be our liaison from now on."

En-En stood up and brushed himself off "great now that that's settled I'll be off."

"Wait" Konan called out "what do you want us to do?"

"Whatever the hell you want, I don't care. But if I call, you answer, always no matter what you're doing." He turned around and looked over his shoulder "oh yeah I have only one rule, you may go after the Ninetail's jinchuruki if you want, but do. Not. Kill. Him."

En-En walked over to Alistair "have fun and try not to get yourself killed."

Pain walked over to the now dead Madara "Konan what just happened?"

"My boss just wiped the floor with you guys, that's what ack-"

Alistair was flung from his spot into the open palms of Pain who held him tight around his throat "I wasn't speaking to you. He may be your boss, but remember where you stand." Alistair looked around as the ragged Akatsuki members started getting to their feet. "This is still my Akatsuki and we will kill you with out hesitation. Zetsu!"

A Venus fly trap looking man popped out of the ground "yes Pain-sama?"

"You were the only one who didn't confront him. It's safe to assume he doesn't know about you, find out anything you can about him. As for you" he turned back to Alistair "you'll work with Konan for now."

Konan opened her mouth to protest but Pain cut her off "it will take a while for me to reincarnate my other paths and after me you are the strongest member in the Akatsuki. Alistair grabbed Pain's hand which still had a vice grip on his throat. "Ca- can you let go of me now?"

Pain stepped away "acquaint yourself with your new partner oaf, your first mission is to scout around here and make sure our skirmish didn't alert anybody to our presence." He turned around to check on the still unconscious and only remaining Uchiha in the room. Alistair looked over to Konan and waved. To which she scoffed and walked away.

Alistair sweatdropped 'thanks En-En this is going to be so much fun.'

He was quick to catch up to her "so this probably doesn't mean much but sorry for what my boss did."

"Apologizes mean absolutely nothing. If you want to make up for his actions then give us information."

Alistair shrugged "there's not a whole lot I can give you honestly. I don't know much about him myself. I guess the first thing you should know is his name is En-En"

"You work for a man and know nothing about him? And besides why should I believe you'd willingly give me credible information about him?"

"Hey I work for the guy, never said I liked him, and besides he seems to be the type to go with the flow and plenty of power to back it up. I honestly believe it won't matter in the end. I will say sending that Zetsu guy is probably a mistake."

"Zetsu can make himself completely hidden, unsensable to even the best sensory ninja."

"And your just gonna tell me that?"

"Are you going to tell your boss?"

Alistair opened his mouth to answer until he realized 'wait how the hell am I supposed to tell him anything? How am I supposed to get in contact with him?'

"Fair enough. Any idea who my future partner will be?"

"No."

She kept walking, they had exited the cave and were in some kind of forest. It was raining slightly. "Wow really not one for conversation are you?"

"No."

Alistair sighed and as they kept investigating their perimeter our camera zooms up to see the cloudy sky. It falls and sets a couple dozen meters away to see En-En watching the two. Not out of any sense of wanting to protect Alistair if they decided to kill him. He honestly couldn't care less. Blood thirsty muscle like him were a dime a dozen. Nah, it was more out of pride. He couldn't have his new henchmen kill their senior henchman.

Though he was kind of hoping they would. While the battle they had couldn't even be called a battle, it was the most fun En-En had since coming back to the world of the Living. But these new toys of his would prove most useful in the future, at least for now until he got bored of them of course.

He wondered how Naruto was doing, and he decided that seeing his new favorite past time would alleviate at least some boredom. So in the blink of an eye he was in the middle of Wave. Looks like they were throwing some kind of party, as people were all around him celebrating. He put his hands on one man's back and focused 'looks like Naruto and friends just killed a guy named Gato..okay."

Not caring if anybody saw him he waved his hands over his body "Yatu Na'tack" his form wavered and shifted until his normal visage was replaced by that of an older gentleman with graying and balding hair and gentle brown eyes. He made his way over to one of the nicer houses around and entered. There were tables around as families feasted on decent food for what seemed to be the first time in a long while.

He saw a familiar blond sitting at a bar chowing down on a bowl of ramen, and the Hyuga girl was sitting beside him. He took a step forward and froze. Something about the Hyuga was strange. Her chakra felt different. It felt like...he narrowed his eyes "Kaguya" he muttered under his breath.

He sat down beside Naruto who didn't seem to notice him as he was too busy devouring his food. He tried to get a read on his thoughts but found his mind surprisingly well fortified, Kami's work no doubt. He could possibly breach these mental defenses but not without alerting the boy. "Say aren't you youngin's the one that did that bastard Gato in?" He asked all old and creaky.

Naruto turned around in surprise "um technically the Kiri ninja killed Gato but we played a small part in bringing down his operation."

"Well you have an old man's thanks for that this town will surely prosper now. Ah where are my manners you may call me..." he thought for a moment "Satanel, and what are your names?" His trained eyes saw Naruto stiffen for just a split second before relaxing. 'Does he know...no Kami would never tell him that story. He may just be being cautious around me, smart actually.'

"Right I'm Arashi and this is my teammate Hitoma."

Hinata looked at Naruto confused as to why he was lying but decided to follow his lead and gave a small bow "it's a pleasure to meet you Satanel-san."

En-En also looked at Naruto 'Now why would he lie to me like that? Oohhh Now I'm interested.' He opened his mouth to say something but movement in the corner of his eyes and he looked over to the entrance of this building and froze. Standing at the door way was a tall figure wearing a brown robe and a jade green grinning cat mask.

Naruto followed his eyes and also froze as En-En walked in and sat on the other side of Hinata. "Hey Naruto-kun heard about your victory yesterday. Congratulations and you didn't even lose Zabuza or Haku this time."

Hinata had noticed how pale he had gotten and was his fist shaking slightly, who was this man and why was Naruto so frightened of him? "Excuse me, do you and Naruto-kun know each other?"

"Oh we're acquaintances and I was just passing by to say hi is all. Though oh Naruto-kun by the by you might want to close your eyes." Just as he said that a bright light flashed in the center of the room blinding everyone but En-En stood up and waved his hands "Shol Tu Nalda é Tadamesh!" The light was suddenly swallowed by a dark purple blob before it vanished. Everyone was looking around confused and slightly scared.

And as the light dimmed back to normal Naruto noticed both En-En and the older man were gone and he was alsp confused.

En-En appeared on the roof top, he too was also confused and he didn't like that. There wasn't much in this world he didn't understand. He saw the other En-En standing near the edge of the building, looking down on the populace going about their business. "Peaceful isn't it?" He asked

"What do you mean? Who are you?"

"Isn't it obvious? I'm you."

"Okay but how?"

"Can't tell you that."

"Okay why are you here?"

"To save you."

"From?"

"Can't say."

"Okay what can you say?" The other En-En was gone and En-En blinked several times, was that what it was like for everyone else when he did that? That was so annoying, but now he was left with more questions than answers. What was he doing here, and who was he saving him from? En-En shook his head "more importantly what was that ball of light and" he pulled up his sleeve to see blackened and charred skin "why did it hurst so much?"

And that's all folks but what's this, two En-En's? Where all doomed!
