Elena had just started looking for apartments she could rent near her school. It was her senior year so she needed to save money for college applications as well, thus her budget was very low. All she was getting very small studio apartments. She had to compromise, after all she couldn't really afford it, hence she was just settling on one that was the nearest to school and moving on the weekend. Just two days before that dreaded dance. She didn't yet have a dress, her aunt Jenna had given her some money for Christmas which she had saved up in her account. She planned to buy a dress with that.

"Elena Gilbert?" A curly haired, fair complexioned girl asked her as she was sitting in the school parking lot, trying to finish one of her assignments that was due in a few days, "Yes?" she looked up from her book at the blue eyed girl, "My name is April, I want to talk to you."

Elena gathered her stuff and put it in her bag standing up and walking with her to a bench, "What do you want to talk about?"

"My father." She pursed her lips, "Paul Carson."

"I don't know who that is, I am sorry." Elena said immediately, "I know- my dad is a private investigator for Arthur Marshall, he was one of the members of the board of directors at life prism, it's a pharmaceutical company."

Elena frowned hearing the very familiar information, how had this girl found her?

"Arthur Marshall was found two weeks ago in the mystic lake." Elena said to herself almost, the girl nodded, "Yes. He was murdered, my dad was investigating the case. Mr. Marshall use to take my dad's services often. They both were investigating the case that someone at the company was involved in a very dangerous scandal with the competitors. This was all before the company's drug scandal broke."

She said in a breath, "My dad has been missing ever since, the last time I saw him, he was going to see Mr. Marshall." She said as she took out a file, "I somehow managed to get his telephone records, the burner phone he used to use. All the burners are out of reach and the last time he called anyone was Mr. Marshall, my friend who can crack into these things then got me Mr. Marshall's records, the last number is unknown , I've narrowed it down to mystic falls but I am so sure that it's something to do with the competitors- Salvatore industries."

Elena was looking down at the file, she couldn't recognise this number or digest this information too quickly, why wasn't this girl going to the police again, as if she heard her thoughts, "They are founding families, I know their impact- I know they power the majority of businesses in mystic falls and can't ever challenge them unless I have solid ground, I found about you from a newspaper article you wrote half an year ago."

Elena remembered the article she was talking about, the one of many she wrote initially, tearing down how the founding families like Salvatore and Lockwood that were capitalist tyrants. "I am not sure what you want me to do." Elena said in a shaky voice. "Help me find my dad, I know he needs help- he probably found something on them, please." The girl pleaded. Elena looked at her in silence for longer than comfortable before nodding, "Fine, give me some time I'll find out what I can."

Now she was more invested then before, she had to find that place, Elena had clearly heard them take the company's name and then that place but where was it? Damon had no idea, or maybe he was lying? She thought, why would he tell her anyway? Elena spent the whole evening searching through Giuseppe's cabin and finding nothing. She was tired, if only she had seen anyone in that meeting room she could somehow find out. An idea popped into her head, she took out her phone and called Damon, he didn't pick up. Giving up she got up from the little corner in the office that belonged to her and started walking for the exit, when she opened the door she saw Damon about to walk in, they almost bumped into each other, she sighed with a smile, "There you are." He walked in, "I knew you were here, I called Charlotte two hours ago- you didn't leave." He gestured to the clock on the wall, it was nine- thirty in the night, she fidgeted a bit, "Yeah I had something to do."

He raised a brow, "What are you looking for again? Is this some charade?"

"What?" she asked a bit worried that he was acting a bit cold, "This- warming up to me all of a sudden, my guard is not down Elena, what were you looking for?" he bit out, she clenched her fist at his tone and walked back to her desk, thankfully she had finished some work in the morning, "Assembling all this, not a part of my job, but your dad makes me do it!" she snapped.

He looked at her a bit sceptically and checked the laptop, she folded her arms across her chest, glaring at him, when he looked up his expressions had somewhat softened, "Look I-"

"Save it!" she spat as she grabbed her bag and headed outside, "Hey stop!" she heard him call but she didn't turn around headed for the elevator, "Elena." He said and held her elbow, turning her around, the whole floor was empty and dark- she pulled "Why can't you believe that someone might actually want to be around you? Oh wait I know- you're an asshole." He didn't let her hand go, "So what was I suppose to think, you're in here every night, you ask so many questions and-"

"I can tell you what will help and that is trusting me." She shouted, "You don't trust me."

"I do trust you, that's not the problem." He said trying to hold her with his free hand, she backed away, "Oh you do?" she mocked, "Then why did you call Charlotte? The girl you slept with like two months ago."

"I-uh." He didn't know what to say, "You could have called me and asked me and I would have told you what I was doing." She said snatching her hand away from his grip, "If you can't trust me then I can't do this." She went inside the elevator and closed it before he could even think of going after her.

Though she felt bad about lying, it was still so infuriating how he was keeping tabs on her all the time, if she couldn't ask what he was doing how did he have the right to ask about her? She wasn't going to stop trying to get what she wanted initially just because she felt something for him. They hadn't confronted that conversation yet. When the Elevator door opened at the ground floor, she was surprised seeing him already there. She rolled her eyes as he stepped forward and pushed the button taking them on the fourth floor again, "Fine, I fucked up, I am constantly trying to find what the catch is, I am trying to sabotage us. I can't convince myself that this is real."

She narrowed her eyes as he confessed, "Wanna know what else I did? I put a tracker on your car and your phone, got a bug in your laptop, got a guy to follow you around, put a camera in that apartment you're about to move in."

"What?" she asked, her cheeks reddened, thank god she had been busy with her school work and she didn't dig deep into her research for that company 'site'. He looked like he was ready to face her wrath now, "You didn't do all that." She said it like she couldn't believe it, he took a step ahead backing her into the shining wall of the elevator, she had no room to move as he placed his hands on either side of her head, the dark look on his face seemed twisted under the light, "I did- I am a psychopath. I don't believe you when you smile at me or when you-" his finger tipped her chin up, "Ask me about my day or when you blush when I touch you. I tell myself you're lying, you have a hidden agenda , this can't be real." his jaw was clenched as he snarled, her wide eyes looked scared of him- he loathed the idea that he was scaring her, but he needed her to know what he was doing. She couldn't maintain eye contact with his intense blue eyes as if he would get something out of her mouth that she didn't want to say, "Stop doing that, Damon." She murmured gathering some strength, he simply raised a brow, she shivered a bit under his tall form, "You're trying to scare me- You want me to shut you out-"

"You should, Elena." He said firmly, she gulped and slowly rested her hand on his chest, "You did all that because of you, Damon. You are trying to find a catch because you think you're not good enough for us." She sighed , "You don't see the you I see."

"What you see is not the man I am, Elena." He said, once again his chilling voice giving her goose bumps, "It's too difficult for me to pretend all the time."

"Then stop pretending." She said now with a considerably loud voice, "Stop pretending that you don't see what I feel for you! Stop trying to dissect my feelings to fit your damn pessimistic narrative. I can't hate you and I am not scared of you." She said looking directly into his eyes, "If you don't believe anything I say, then feel." She held his hand that was on the wall and placed it on her beating heart, "Does it feel like it's not real?" she could see his stony features melt at the gesture, seeing it work a bit she cupped his face, "That feels real right?"

"Elena." He said her name in a breath, she shook her head, standing on her tip toes, "I don't know about you but when you hold me, I feel safe- when you kiss me, I feel like I never want it to end." She could see his guard down and that's when she kissed him, her arms wrapped around his neck, pulling him in further as if she was desperate to make him believe there was hope. Her tongue fought it's way into his mouth and she heard him growl low in his throat as he kissed her back, his hands all over her body, pushing her further into the wall, leaving no distance between the both of their bodies, she could feel his weight on her and she didn't mind it, he had to believe this was them and not a game. His mouth parted to travel to her neck, a very sensitive spot there which he had memorised that would make her moan in that delicious way. "Oh Damon!" she cried in pleasure, one of her hands moving down his neck to his chest, getting a few buttons to open so she could feel his chest. The bell from the elevator ringing again and again from time to time. She didn't really care to be caught, but he pulled away when the bell was consistent every few moments. Her glassy big eyes were now looking at him for some sort of approval, he glanced at her confused, his fingers still absently moving in her hair, "I am sorry, Elena." He said as his thumb brushed against her chin, she had heard him apologize twice now and it was equally surprising, "No more secrets, promise me?" she said in that sweetness laced voice, he seemed unsure and it did hurt her that trust didn't come easy to him, "You don't trust me." She accused above a whisper as If it was a realization.

"It's not about that." He said attempting to cup her face, she pulled away from him and moved out of his arms shaking her head, "This tracing and tracking? You've decided that you don't want to trust me, I can't do anything to change that." He heard her walk out of there and when he turned around the door was closed again. Great! He could have just lied but no it was just impossible to do that when she would look at him with her pure eyes.

Elena felt like it was a joke when the next day Stefan put a flier of the winter dance on her desk, quirking a brow up, "By any chance are you going to the winter dance this week?"

She looked up into his sparkling green eyes and pursed her lips, "Um- I am really not into the dance thing."

"Ugh liar, I saw you talking to Caroline about dresses like it was your wedding." He feigned disgust, "What, am I not good enough for you?"

Elena laughed at his fake pout, "No I just heard that you really suck at formal dances."

He huffed, "I promise I'll behave. Come on Elena what's the harm?"

She raised her brows as he leaned lower invading her personal space a bit, "O-Okay." She was a bit flustered. "So I am picking you up? Saturday?" he confirmed.

She managed to smile, "Yes but you better wear a tux, not your pearl's polo shirt."

He pretended to wipe sweat off his forehead, "Woof- okay then, gotta run, have to rent a tux."

"W-wait, Stefan. I need your help." She said standing up from her chair in the class, he turned back, "Really? A favour already and i thought my charms worked."

She rolled her eyes at his antics and folded her arms across her chest, "You have me to take me home."

His eyes glinted with a naughty spark, "Consider it done."

Elena shook her head, "N-Not that, the mansion- I need some information that I am certain I can find there."

"I don't go there." He said abruptly, well she knew that was a lie, Damon did tell her he was coming more often, "Stefan please, I need to find out something very serious."

"But-"

"No questions asked." She said before he could reason, "Think of it as a life or death situation." She said leaning closer to whisper. His brows furrowed, "You'll get hurt, Elena."

"I won't, I promise- please Stefan." She pleaded. He finally gave in with a sigh, "Fine. I'll get you in."

Stefan turned to her as they stopped the car, she was in the back seat, hiding from any eyes that could cause a problem in her plan, "I don't have the keys, I've told Damon I want to hang out, so I am going to be with him, about in ten minutes, stand under that window, I'll throw a key to the back entrance. Let's just hope father isn't home."

She nodded as he got out of the car, she waited inside under the seat, keeping track of time, when it was about eight minutes in, she got out of the car and stepped to that window, there was a key there already, which she picked up and started moving towards the back entrance of the big mansion. The entrance was clean and broad, the quiet that's seemed like that of a before of a storm. She tip toed from the broad corridors towards the staircase, she could distantly hear the brothers talking.

"You know Stef, just drop it- you miss home admit it." Damon was obviously once again roping him in, Elena shook her head, "I miss the X-box and you. Not enough to come back."

She stepped on the stairs trying to Keep it low and went over the first floor to the second, her heart started racing when she saw Enzo walking out of a room, she jumped into an empty one hiding behind the door, he was on the phone, "What do you mean? I can't reach him, he's out of the house and he's not at the office."

Elena wished he was talking about Giuseppe. She went towards the room and creeped inside and sighed of relief. She began looking in the drawers, just regular documents of the company, nothing special. She looked around as she reached for the last small cupboard in the big book rack It was locked. With a huff she reached into her hair and took out a Bobby pin. She knew how to pick a lock but due to her anxiety she was messing up again and again. Pulling the pin wide open and taking a deep breath, she put it in again, thankfully the cupboard opened, when she looked inside there were just some papers and a book, nothing special. She groaned in annoyance, hitting the desk. The sound of a knock echoed, she frowned, it was very odd, she knocked on the base again, this time taking out the papers, secret case. She pulled the base up and gasped when she saw a black box under it, she pulled it out and put it on her lap and opened it.

Inside were a few things. A few passports of the same man. Different names. Dark complexioned and he had a tattoo on his neck from the photo she could see.

'Michael.'

'Samuel'

'Jeffery'

'Tristin'

Each time a different name, this did nothing for her, there was a half broken chain in the box that looked like it belonged to a necklace, some photos of mud and grass. However behind the photo there seemed some kind of location, it looked like it was written years ago. She took out her phone and took pictures of the things, then put it back in the box, beginning to move when she saw the door handle move, her body stiffened, she quickly moved to the window and pulled her legs up, hiding behind the dark curtains. Giuseppe walked inside followed by some man she didn't recognise, "You need to find him!" he was raging, the other man looked like some sort of minion of his, dressed poorly and had rough hair, "He must be around there somewhere. "

"Then find him, if Carson ever got to safety- this is ruined! I don't want any thing coming back to me-"

Carson? She had heard that name- Paul Carson! April's dad. She thought. "I should have never let you use that place- if I hadn't I could have sent Damon, he would have easily found the guy and finish him, you are useless." He spat at the man. Elena definitely knew this was about that place she had been hearing about, so Damon didn't know about this after all. "I am driving back there, my men will find him any second now." He assured. "They better or I'll kill you and everyone you've ever known." He warned and something told her he was serious.

Now she wanted to follow this man, he would definitely take her there. She moved back, pulling the handle of the window up, she looked back to see how above she was from the ground, she remembered the last time she had went down a pipe to a concert. Just holding on to one about half a feet away she grasped it and pulled away from the window, grabbing on to it. Her phone started buzzing in her pocket which almost made her fall. She clenched the pipe between her thighs and began moving down. She had to be quick to follow this man. Not looking down to scare herself she climbed down the pipe. Once she got to the bottom she took out her phone, Stefan was calling her, she didn't have the time and put the phone back when she saw the man coming out the front entrance, she ran after him, hiding herself by the bushes, how was she suppose to follow him? Like a prayer answered, the man stopped once he opened the back of his car and threw in a bag, Enzo was coming in back to the mansion and had stopped to talk to the guy, "You were with Mr. Salvatore weren't you?"

"Yeah I um-"

Elena sneaked behind him and got into the backseat of his car, lowering down to a box like form almost so she was undetected. Enzo was asking about wanting to see Giuseppe to get some signatures. "Okay then." The man waved and got into the driver's seat.

Elena kept her breath steady as the car drove, not making any noise, thank god the man turned on loud music and that gave her some relaxation. She could breath easily now. She didn't know how long it took, because her legs were losing circulation from being in this position. Maybe hours?

When the car stopped, she raised her head up a bit and saw that there was no light outside, the sun had set, she lowered to check her phone, '7:00 pm'. Once he got out, she waited a few minutes in the same position, then got out slapping her legs for some circulation, they had been in this car for three and a half hours now, reaching for the bag, she checked inside and saw a few bottles of kerosene, a gun, some ropes, definitely not the best get to go back a normal person has. She slowly got out of the car and looked around if she could hide in a bush. The man was no where around. Elena hid behind a large tree waiting to locate the man, the car was parked in front of some deserted building. It looked like a ghostly warehouse. There were no signs or anything that could indicate that it was under use. Just a big empty charcoal ground in front of its rusty gate and thick trees that would conceal it from the eye of the passing by people. She didn't even know where she was. Some how she got the courage to slowly go up to its gate. There was some sort of noise coming from the middle of that deserted room. Elena creeped in and walked behind some boxes making as less noise as she could, she crouched down, peeking from the side of the box, her hand was clutching the sand under her fingers, she felt something cold brush against her palm and when she looked down it was some sort of jewellery, it looked very dirty and old, she dusted it and cleaned it with her jeans, one side of the chain was half broken and the other was intact, joined to circle of small shining diamonds that surrounded a red gem in the middle, it was ruby in colour but it looked very expensive, Elena was sure she had seen this necklace somewhere. She didn't know remember, maybe a newspaper? A TV show? It looked so familiar. She folded it and put it in her pocket when she heard a large groan, she peeked behind the box and her eyes bulged when she saw someone being dragged by two men to the centre of the room. The man had a torn suit on, he was bruised black and blue, Elena quickly reached for her phone recording this. "Where did you find him?" the man whose car she used to get here asked.

"He got away but he had lost blood so was lying down near the trees outside, we just couldn't see before." Another one said, he had a white t-shirt and rough jeans on. A third man walked through the door, this one Elena knew, she just saw him on the passports early. He was holding the bag that was in the car earlier "We have to get rid of him."

"Not before he tells us where he hid the proof, Cade." The guy who brought her here argued. So his name was Cade, none of the names were true, she pursed her lips getting the camera to zoom, "He's too dangerous. Boss would want us to do it, besides the proof is hidden somewhere, he didn't have time to tell anyone about it."

The bruised man who looked like he was passed out suddenly looked up coughing, "Jokes on you- I hid it and someone is going to find it soon."

"Where." Cade asked holding his face up, "Carson- if you don't want your daughter to get fucked and killed you better tell me!" he growled. The man spit on his face, "Fuck you, my daughter is safe, I know that you can't do jack shit."

"She is safe as long as I want her to be." Cade warned pulling out a gun, Elena's eyes widened, she shook her head, "no." She whispered.

"The proof right- you had the fucking proof, Arthur Marshall's body- has the proof, my little girl knows what the proof is, she will figure it out- if you think she's my weakness you're so wrong, she's my strength!" he spat.

"Then I guess I don't need you." Cade said cruelly as he pulled the trigger, a shot echoed and Elena's phone fell from her hand when she saw a fast streaming shower of blood shoot from the man's forehead on to the ground and Case repeatedly shot him. "NO!" her terrified scream was loud, she didn't know she gave away her position, realising her mistake when a man said , "What was that?"

She didn't mean to push against the box but when she turned around to run it fell, she ran for the door, "Catch her!" a sound echoed behind her, she ran for her life, "Stop or I'll shoot!" she heard Cade shout but even if she wanted to, she couldn't stop, she had never seen a murder, it scared the life out of her. A shot sounded right to her side, either she dodged it or it was a warn, but she got out the door and ran into the thick trees, they would keep her guarded while she ran, cupping her mouth she ran with all her might, a few branches cutting through her shirt and marking her yet she didn't care because she could hear steps behind her, she looked over her shoulder to see that they were away but still behind her, tears were running down her eyes as she ran further into the trees. Her heart was ready to jump out of her mouth at this point, grasping her phone she checked for her dialler while still running, The first thing that came to mind was Damon's number, maybe she dialled it so often she knew it. She just put the number in hiding behind a huge tree. She had never shivered like this before.

"IF YOU KNOW WHAT'S GOOD FOR YOU, YOU'LL COME OUT!" she heard a growl, cries were erupting from her throat. She pushed her hand against her mouth muffling them.

"Why are you calling me?" his voice a bit cut-throat but she had never been glad to hear it before like this, "Oh- God, D-Damon!" she cried between hiccups , "I need your help, please." She said with urgency.

"What happened?" suddenly his voice was laced with concern, "Are you okay?"

"Help me. Please I don't know where I am, I am going to die." She broke into tears. "What?" he sounded surprised, "you don't know where you are?"

"Not mystic falls, please i- eh." She almost shrieked when she heard another shot, "You- you-can you track me?" Her words weren't making sense, but he did tell her he was tracking her phone and her car right?

"What did you got into again? Fuck!" he cursed, "Is someone following you?"

"Yes- please Damon, save me." She pleaded, "I will, I will- hey calm down." Seeing the chance she started running again into more trees, those were never ending like a forest until she could see a road, she looked behind her, there were sounds in great distance, finding thick bushes that she was certain would have a snake or two, she jumped into them. Damon called her again, she picked up the phone with shaking hands, "Where are you?"

"You're okay? When you hung up I- I am not there yet- you're on the high way- like an hour away from me, I am getting there as soon as I can, just don't move."

"I am gonna die." She whispered.

"No you aren't, don't move, Elena. I am driving as fast as I can." He assured her. She tried to act like it was a nightmare but she wasn't waking up, whenever she would close her eyes she would see blood shoot out of that man's head like it was a faucet. That was April's dad. Elena brought her knees close to her face, lying in a foetal position. It was dark so she hoped they wouldn't find her, ants and bugs were running up her back again and again but she was too scared to be bothered right now. Soon the noise stopped, every once in a while she would hear a car go by and then nothing, but she knew if she stood up there would be someone here and pounce on her like a predator.

When her phone buzzed, she looked down to it, Damon's name was flashing on the screen, her tears had made the screen so wet, she didn't even know she had been crying. She picked it up, "Are you here?" her voice was throaty. "Yes, I am slowing down okay? Where are you?"

"Side of the road. I can't see your car." She said looking through the dusty bushes. "I am there- wait I am just around the location, my lights are on."

She saw a car in distance and sighed, "Yes- yes you're here, oh God, you're here finally!" she began to sob. Then he hung up, she saw him getting out of that car and crossing the road running, he looked around, Elena rose up slightly from the bushes, "Damon." She called and got up not knowing that she was fully covered in mud as she rushed towards him, when he turned to her, she saw him take a breath of relief running towards her and taking her in his arms, "Oh- you're okay!" he said with a huge intake of breath, then he parted looking at her 'ruined' appearance, "What happened?"

"Please- please let's just get out, I promise I'll tell you everything." She pleaded. He nodded picking her up without her asking and running towards his car, Elena was hiding her face in his chest fearing for her life.

(TVD-TVD-TVD-TVD)

"Stop crying." He said the millionth time, wiping away her tears and then removed grass burrs from her feet, she shook her head, "I saw him dead, he's dead." She cried, "April's dad- she wanted me to help." She broke down again, "He shot him- in the head, blood!" she uttered incoherent words sobbing, "Was going to kill- kill me."

"How did you get there?" he asked again. Cupping the side of her face, her collarbones and arms were stained with cuts and bruises, she shivered, how was she ever going to tell him that, he would never trust her, "Please Damon." She said leaning forward to wrap her arms around him, "I am scared." He had rented them a motel room because Elena wouldn't stop crying in the car and he thought he needed to take care of her wounds first before taking her home, "okay- calm down don't think about it."

She shook her head, "It's not easy. Oh God- blood- there was so much blood." She said with a disgusted face. He had cleaned up her muddy face and her arms, dusted down her clothes, yet she still looked like a complete mess, maybe it was because he had never seen her mind in shambles like this. "Hey, look at me." He parted slightly to make her look at him, "I won't let you get hurt, I swear. If nothing else you have my word on this." He cupped the side of her face, "If you'd tell me sooner this wouldn't have happened."

"How can I tell you when you don't even trust me?" she cried, "I want to tell you everything. I do but I know that if I ever tell you something you don't want to hear-"

"You think I'd hurt you?" he asked as if it was an insult, "No Elena, I don't want to hurt you." He pressed his lips to her forehead in a tender kiss, "You're safe with me, I know you trust me, that's why you called me didn't you?"

She nodded. He held her face in his hands as his forehead pressed against hers, "Calm down, breathe-" his hands moved on her shoulders as if massaging them, " Yes. Relax, you're safe. You're here. I didn't lose you yet." He said to himself almost. His lips brushed against hers softly, she moaned capturing them and kissing him back eagerly- her arms circled his as she laid back on the bed under him, nothing felt safer than his weight on her like a blanket. When their mouths parted. She looked up at him, her eyes looked like melted chocolate, some unshed tears shining in them as she looked up at his beautiful face, The sound of thunder outside made her wince. "It's raining- no one is going to hurt you." He promised.

She nodded slightly, "Okay."

"Are you hungry?" he asked as he lowered a bit and placed a kiss on her jaw bone. "No-" she said with a sigh and reached her hands towards his collar. "Can we not leave?"

He nodded. Elena's fingers traced down the button strip of his cobalt grey shirt and started unbuttoning it, "Elena- you."

She interrupted, "I want this. Please- make me forget, or I'll lose my mind." Her eyes were begging for him. He didn't know how long he would be able to refuse, "I don't want you to regret this." He said giving her a small peck, she shook her head, "I won't ever. Just love me for now, please." She cupped his face and rose up a bit, crashing their lips together, he didn't back away this time. Carefully he pulled off her half torn pastel purple shirt off of her body, his mouth hungrily planting kisses down her neck to her chest. She threw her head back when his mouth sucked on her rosy nipple, when it licked down the path to her navel- when he removed her jeans, she heard the sound of his zip and then she helped him take off his jeans and settled back under him, trailing kisses up his chest to his neck, touching his length and stroking it, he held her, his fingers ran through her hair as he looked into her chocolate eyes, she was obviously nervous, "I trust you, Damon."

"I know." He said and kissed her again, getting in between her legs, he pulled away to look at her face, "I don't have a condom."

"Just pull out before-" her voice trailed off, holding onto his shoulders she started pressing kisses to his temple, he nodded, capturing her lips in a kiss again, his hand moved between them down to her clit, he slowly rubbed it under his thumb, taking his time between soft and slow strokes, her mouth broke away in a desperate cry, "Please-" she urged. He slowly moved his length forward in her tight entrance, she had told him she was 'saving' herself before so he was a bit shocked when she initiated this. "I am ready for you. Love me." She pleaded. He took a deep breath and moved all the way in, he heard her hiss and clutch his shoulders, almost digging her nails into him, his lips found hers and he gave her a searing kiss, tasting her sweet mouth, her warm tongue moved against him as he stilled inside her, how could just being inside her feel so good? Was it because he adored her so much that it was better than anything he ever felt already? A soundless moan escaped her mouth when he experimentally moved a bit inside her. Their mouths parted, "It feels so good- move, please. Again." Her voice raspy and small. She held on to his shoulders as he moved back and thrusted back inside her, she arched up to meet him on his thrusts, she felt so right- her body clenched him in the best way possible, he grunted increasing his pace but keeping from slamming into her, he didn't really want to hurt her right now, her body moved back. Her hands scratching at the sheets as she tried to process the highs of pleasure that she was climbing with every move of his body, her legs wrapped around his torso, her heels digging into his hips in an instinctual way, which turned him on all the more, his hands found her, lacing his fingers with hers he brought them above her head, slamming his hips forward into her, not caring that the bed was rocking under their movements, she urged, "Harder." He gave a small smirk before bringing their hands up to the headboard, slamming forward into her body, a cry of pleasure escaped her, then between all those screams, he heard his name from her mouth. A very primal need took over him. To mark her from inside out. She could feel his lips brushing over hers, her own moans mingling with his breath, looking at his blue eyes so closely was hypnotic, the fragrance of his body and the sweat from his forehead- it was all too much, she came all around him, milking his length completely. He cursed at the feeling- maybe the only heaven he would be able to enter was her. He pulled out of her, holding his cock and spilling on the sheet, just hoping with all of his being that she would allow him inside her again. His body slumped over hers for a few moments, she was breathing against his shoulder trying to get her racing heart to its normal pace. Her hands moved down to rest against his back, stroking up and down.

Everything was okay now, she was exhausted, slipping into a peaceful slumber, everything was fine- she thought allowing herself to close her eyes for a moment.

A man in a torn suit was crawling up the dark ground, nothing around, she could see that he needed help, the chants were clear "Help me, Elena. Help!"

The voices were whispers then got louder, "Only you can help, Elena come closer." He begged.

The man looked up, there was a dark bloody hole in his head and his eyes were red, just so much red as he reached for her.

"NO! LET ME GO!" she jolted out of sleep, a pair of arms suddenly around her waist, "Let me go! You're dead! You're dead!"

"It's me, Elena, it's a nightmare." She heard Damon's voice, she looked over her shoulder, he was holding her by her waist, slowly he pulled her to his chest, she wrapped her arms around him, as he peppered kisses on her temple and her head, "It's okay, you're safe. I promise you are."

"He- he's dead." She looked up at him. His blue eyes were full of concern for her, as he nodded, "I know- I do. You didn't do anything, okay? You didn't kill him."

"I saw it, all of it." She whispered, "He didn't want to die. April's dad-" she murmured, "I didn't want this to happen, I only wanted to do the right thing."

"I know." He held her chin, closing any distance between their faces, "I know, you would never hurt anyone, I trust you."

His eyes had no hesitation as he said that this time, she pursed her lips, "We need to go back."
