Yuzuriha was left stunned at what had happened before her with Tsukasa. That guy was most certainly strong as well as skilled. As he managed to not only grab an arrow out middle air but also not allow slowing him down either. Instantly ready to fight again after that. This lead to Senku claiming they need the greatest invention of humankind...the smartphone...no wait he claimed that they were going to make gunpowder.

Kicking Taiju awake even after early claiming that he would be out for a few days which turned out to be wrong as he woke up almost immediately after claiming they were going on a great adventure to create gunpowder. Yuzuriha and Taiju than followed Senku who seemingly rushed back in the treehouse the three of them had been staying and began to start smashing things.

"What a waste," Yuzuriha said

As she watched him smash various pots those were sitting on shelves and were now cluttering the floor. It must have taken some time to make those since this was supposed to be 3,700 years into the future. There was clearly nothing she could see that would help create them otherwise

The reasoning he was doing this was because according to Senku this was being done to think that they had been scared off by Tsukasa. In their fear of him, they left in a hurry taking on food with them only. However, that was apparently according to Senku's plan to throw him off the trail of the plan to create gunpowder. Outsmarting him would be the key.

Though that was said she really did not have anything to do at this point so she just decided to go outside for a while. After all, have just been reverted back from being a statue, the only things Yuzuriha had were the clothes on her back and shocking enough her headband.

Yuzuriha moved around a little uncomfortable as she understood why Taiju dressed her first before reverting her from a statue. Yet they must have already seen her body upon finding her for the first time which causes her to turn red for a second. After all, that might have been when she was still a statue but it was not like that form did not reflect what she actually would look like naked though.

Shaking her head of these thoughts, a good usage of her time while waiting for them to finishing packing would get all of the loose stone fragments that lingering in her clothes and shoes. Apparently, Senku took those few lessons she taught her about how to make clothes seriously enough that he was able to make these for them all.

After having checked all over her body the only place left to do so was her feet and as she untied her shoes to do so she discovered that her big toe, the one next to it, and a small portion of her foot itself. It was still solid stone and she apparently could not move the affected area at all seemingly.

She went to open her mouth to call out to Senku and Taiju about this however thinking about for a second or so Yuzuriha decided to keep this to herself. It was her problem so she would not really bother either Taiju or Senku with it. Also, they were trying to leave faster and if this became known then it could slow them down quite a bit. Wigging her foot for a bit she discovered it really did not hamper her at all. She would bring it up later though as she did not want them wasting any of that formula on her.

It seemed hard to make after all since they had apparently tried using it on her once already but ended using on Tsukasa instead. Resulting in a decent amount of time passing between that moment and this current one they were in. Thus she merely put her shoe back and on test things out as she did not give away that part of her left foot was still stone.

She had just finished getting her shoes back on when Taiju came for her. Telling her that things had been gathered and what her portion of the stuff she would be carrying. Fasting two bags to her back and two at her side, Yuzuriha was ready to go as she left the place they had been calling home for a while and apparently where she was being kept after herself after Tsukasa revived before her.

Traveling alongside her friends she wondered various thing s about how they even got into this forest to start with as it must be a decent amount of ways from the school if it happens to be this big. Not yet realizes that this forest was what had become of the city they had lived in previously. Cause she was not brought back amongst anything that she could have used as landmark or proof of this. She continued onward as they continued to walk forward. Taking breaks every now and then with Senku ensuring that when it was time sleep. They were able to do so in a manner that would allow them all to do so without much worry.

"Say Taiju where were we when I saw turned back," she asked him curiously

"In the general area of the school most likely as we both found you clinging to a camphor tree" Senku informed her instead.

"I apparently got buried underground somehow though and Senku had to dig me out," Taiju told her

"Not sure how exactly but I ended up outside a bat cave myself," Senku said.

"So how did you two revert back from being stone," she asked.

Taiju than left this to Senku to explain to her

"The hard way as you and Tsukasa were brought back through a formula I and Taiju created. Taiju was placed directly under the source where the main ingredient to the de depetrification formula is. As for me, I needed where it drained down to out of the cave" he said.

Yuzuriha nodded taking all of this in. Though she did that all she really understood was that luck plays a role in allowing Senku to be reverted first. Then he brought everyone else currently here back through how he normally did anything he set his mind to.

Reaching what appeared to be either large hill or cliff like area overlooking the vast area of Japan they were in. An area that she really could not tell where it was exactly because after 3,700 years nature has fully and utterly reclaimed the world thus mostly anything she thought about using to tell where they were currently was gone. She only knew they were close to the school because her friends had informed her that she had been kept safe by the camphor tree this entire time. Upon being offered a hand as she made to the top of this hill/cliff area herself, Senku informed them that they would be traveling 80km to get to Hakone where the materials for gunpowder was.

Of course, Taiju claimed that would take only about five hours though she just kind of laugh as Senku told him that something only endurance manic likes him would be capable of doing. Thus rather than five hours, it would be taking them two months to travel to Hakone on foot.

After a while, this was decided Senku pulled out what he called garbage sextant to tell where they were but the accuracy was garbage because it was made from that itself. Yuzuriha was then shocked that he just revealed how many seconds had passed since the sun rose today as if that was the most normal thing in the world to know.

Then Taiju told that Senku had counted one trillion seconds while he was a statue. Thus leaving her wondering if the two of them really were aware the whole time they were statues as this was starting to sound more and more like that was the case. It would explain how they knew the exact year it was basically even though there was nothing to tell them that anymore.

"Landmarks in Kamakura…..wait a second" Yuzuriha said

It then dawns on them all that could possibly still be here after all this time. Rushing in that direction they ran for a little while before Yuzuriha noticed something.

"Look over there for some reason no trees have grown at all" she stated.

Getting over to that place still a bit ahead of them all they came to an area that had not been overrun by nature at least not completely. Cause standing before them even after all this time despite being damaged but still intact Great Buddha Statue of Kamakura. Sitting there as same as they all remembered….just their entire left arm missing.

Standing here before now was what could now be considered an ancient relic of a time long since forgotten past.

'This is a relic of the past now' she thought as she just stood there before the statue staring at it.

While doing so an image flash through her mind as she recalled being a little kid sitting on her father's shoulders as she had come here with her parents point to still undamaged Great Buddha statue.

'It really has been that long than' she thought

This is when it all struck her seemingly all at once as this was all too real. Everything she was being told and everything she was seeing. It was all exactly as she had been told it was which a rather large shock to her system was. She did not think that Taiju or Senku had been lying to her this entire time. It's just that she found it hard to believe that it had really been over 3,700 years since they were all turned stone. That the world they had once known was truly and completely gone except for themselves and things like this.

It was one of those things where seeing is truly believing as there was always a chance that what if they were wrong and things were as bad as they thought they were. That maybe she was not just the fourth human possibly to be reverted back from a statue today. However, seeing this sight before her eyes right now just cause whatever doubt she had about things to fall away as what was happening to her was real.

From this realization, cause tears to start falling from her eyes which shocked Taiju. Sending the poor guy in a panic as he automatically thinking someone had made her cry and that the possibility that it was even him crossed his mind. Of course, she quickly wanted to correct this idea that someone had made her cry which was rather strange as who could have done that here. There were only three of four people known to have been changed back from being a statue after all.

Clearing up the misunderstanding, Yuzuriha then went about explaining what she was thinking about how that was the reason. Also bringing up that she thought about her friends from school, how they were just talking about whatever. That it was in this moment that everything was becoming all too real for her as she had just been 'woken up' as she put it today. She was not like Taiju or Senku who were seemingly aware the entire time as she knew it happen for she had seen the light that causes this and unknown to her memories of her time a statue was gone. She had been 'asleep' as a statue for so long that she could no longer recall them thus it likely they were there at the moment.

That was when she was reassured that they were going to accomplish their goal and then go about saving the rest of humanity. That they could at least after all once broken that person was basically a goner….for the moment at least.

In an attempt to cheer her up, Taiju went on about how this was a total miracle that they were able to find it so easily like this. In a way, it could have been similar to how she was kept safe by the camphor tree she was holding on to most of her own time as statue herself. Though in the process of trying to cheer her up, Senku butted in with the more logical reason for why they were able to find the statue so easily. Yet it was possible that both were true and had a role to play in what lead up to this day…a logical miracle in a sense. After realizing the usefulness of the bronze the Great Buddha was made of Senku tried to go about using it to improve his sextant with Taiju trying to stop him.

Before leaving the area of the Great Buddha Statue, she noted how the cherry blossom they were surrounding by seems off for some reason. Getting the explanation that they were because the kind they were used to could not make on their own thus they should have been completely wiped out. Leaving whatever these were to take their place instead.

Continuing on their 80km journey, Yuzuriha came across various things that she would use in cooking when it was her turn to do so. I would hear stories of how Taiju would stay up late with one the spear he carried with him keeping watch far longer then he had to.

When they got to the river they needed to cross, Yuzuriha quickly took her shoes off and got in not wanting to expose her feet to her friends. Though Senku got in first with stick mostly to judge the depth of the water or something as she looks over his shoulder with Taiju close behind her.

"We are going to need a raft to get across this" he stated

Keeping her feet hidden from them proved harder as she just kept them in the water.

"I am just letting my feet soak cause of the walking we have been doing" she claimed as she would then go about tieing the logs Taiju brought back along with Senku.

Even while on the raft she attempted to at least keep the affected area of her left foot in the water. After all, she could feel it thus it could not get cold.

Taiju who was at the moment is the main source of power pulling their raft forward noticed her foot when raising it out the water for a second.

"Well, I did not want to interrupt our progress moving forward as we are in the rush right. It was not like it was getting in the way. So since it was bothering anybody else...I figure it was alright...or something" she said explaining.

That was something that Taiju did not accept as a good reason even the point where he stopped swimming for a moment. Thus after getting their raft to cross the river, she gave some more of the revival formula on her foot. Which other than being cold the first thing that she had felt in that area of her foot for a while now. Cause not only that part of her foot to finally revert back but also dealt with the parts that sore and hurting. This lead to the acknowledgment that they both had cracks on their faces while she had probably had the spirals on her shoulder and neck. However, they must have gotten there and the healing effect of the depetrification formula.

That was when it was revealed where exactly in Hakone they were going which really got her going as there was going to be hot springs to relax in. After Taiju had set up a barrier between her and them she got and was the loving feeling of the water. Taiju claiming it was because it was first bath that he had in over 3,700 years after all. Though as she was relaxing in what was being called an exhaustion recovery formula, Senku busy doing both relaxing and gathering sulfur. That which would be core material he would need for creating gunpowder.

Yuzuriha was just sitting in the hot spring relaxing as well Taiju. On the other side of the makeshift wall, he created before they all got in. Senku had apparently got out as she could hear the sound of him chipping away at the hot spring's rock with his ax.

As she just sat near the wall that when Taiju brought up everything that happened since he called her out that fateful day. Of course when that was mention it flashed through her mind for a moment that instance. Causing a blush that was not from the hot spring's heat to appear on her face.

Curious about what he was going to say back then she worked up the nerve to ask him what he was going to say back then. She had an idea of what was going to be said to her as it might have been a confession just like she joked after arriving there.

Though what she heard was that Taiju spent the entire time he was petrified thinking about what he was going to say to her. Something she really thought was amazing in a way as she could not recall anything she thought during her own time of being petrified. She would always draw a blank when she tried yet deep down she had a feeling that he would have been on her mind a lot too. So after listening say then she kind of in way understood why he did not want to continue where they left off at this very moment.

They were quite possibly the two of the only four humans that were not still petrified at the moment. Senku was with them but then there was Tsukasa that was pretty much murdering people for pretty much no reason. Sure he gave on from what she had been told but that really did not make much sense. How could you tell who was good or bad while they were still petrified. Not all adults were bad nor were all kids good.

Taiju continue to babble on she did feel a little let down that he was not going to finish saying what he started back then. Though she understood that he did not want to do it at this very moment instead wanted to wait until they had carried out their goal to bring back their society as a whole along with saving everyone else not just themselves alone or a chosen few. Although she wanted to know for sure, Yuzuriha was on board with the plan that Taiju and Senku had. She would support them in that no what it took to do so.

Then after that it when Taiju did a quick recap of everything that happened while she was petrified. Going all the basic things that happened and lead up the point where she herself was revived. Though it was not mention how the two of them were revived let alone how Senku was.

Yet it was amazing that they managed to make the revival water that managed to bring before Tsukasa and her back from being statues. Though it would make sense if Senku was the major part in making it though it was interesting that he could only complete fully thanks to Taiju's help. Those two really did seem to play off each other strengths and seem to cover the other's blind spots at times.

After the first full batch for a person was used on him the three of seem live together until it was discovered what he wanted to do with the world. This course was around the time that she was brought back herself and thus leading to what she was already aware of.

Sometime later...

Senku gathers her and Taiju together to explain just how they were going to go about making gunpowder. Seeing as they apparently had everything they need to do so. This process would be gunpowder cooking hour with Senku was the star and Yuzuriha would be serving as his helper. As everything needed basically to create gunpowder was explained in seemingly four detailed steps.

It was when he came to the fourth step, which required pounding that Taiju showed up with a huge boulder ready to do just that. Yuzuriha then tried talking him out of it claiming that it would really be a smart idea for him to be the one did the pounding. Though Senku said otherwise which cause him to go around and carry out what he started. Yet after saying why it would be a problem that when Senku stopped and realized he had just made a critical mistake given where they were at the moment. The three them then looked after Taiju had pounded the gunpowder with shocked looks on their faces as they watched it close up. Yuzuriha found herself being pulled away from the gunpowder immediately as it exploded just like things would from the movies.

After getting up partially off the ground, Yuzuriha exclaimed she did not know that gunpowder could be this powerful along with the thought of Tsukasa after being exposed it such power. All messed up as he gave up and promised not to break any more statues.

Senku then revealed that he had done this as kid, where he almost blows his limbs off once. That if he wanted to could have created a weapon. Yuzuriha asked if he was really thinking about making a weapon to take out Tsukasa with after all. Though was both her and Taiju were shocked when their friend revealed he was using it to try and strike a deal.

After he explains that the reason Taiju's attempt at doing so failed because there was not anything being traded between them. There was no trade-off of any kind thus why should he agree to such a deal. Though if they had gunpowder then they would have a means of forcing him into an actual talk with them.

Yuzuriha not really thinking about what would happen if Senku's attempt at making a deal fell through. When over to get some water to help to put out the gunpowder that Taiju cause to explode. Though as she did so away from the two of them she noticed something interesting in the distant. Calling the two of them over to see what she saw. It was a smoke rising in the distance for some reason...almost like a smoke signal.

At first, she was worried that maybe this was Tsukasa's doing, yet she was told it was the opposite direction. Also, why would he reveal where he was to them though it was seemingly too sudden to just be a normal fire. It was clear that this was in response to the explosion that was used caused by Taiju

Faced with a choice as Tsukasa was after them and there was no telling just how much of head start they had over him so it was possible they would indeed be giving away their location. Though this was a chance to see other humans beside themselves in this stone world. So when asked what to do Senku decided to pick communicating with whoever this was or the safety from Tsukasa
