A/N: For those who haven't read Life Day Revelations, just letting you know that my head canon for Life Day is that it takes place on the last day of the galactic year and is a cross between Christmas and New Years.

This bonus chapter is for two people. First, for Ryan, who I promised to write a Life Day chapter for if he won his race. Well, he did. Lol. And second, for the best friend I've ever had, Ramage, whose story was supposed to get a steamy chapter next as part of his reward, but Ryan's bet inspired me to combine the two, so we're time jumping again. :P

Miroe's First Life Day:

Day 365/26 ABY, Lothal

Poe's first Life Day with Mira's vast and extended family was an eye-opening one, no question.

The mound of presents under the two-story evergreen tree would have filled the entire cargo hold of the Ghost. The amount of balled-up wrapping paper that came off said presents actually did when he said something to the effect and the Specters took that as a challenge. The number of excited children running around on a sugar buzz was frankly scary. There were Force Ghosts mingling with the living like it was a completely normal thing. The supply of food and drinks never seemed to end. And Poe barely got to say two words to his girlfriend all day as person after person monopolized her time, excited to have her back after an absence of nearly four months.

During dinner – an event that took place in Spectre House's large courtyard to accommodate the hundred or so people present - a nearly despairing Poe finally managed to capture Mira's attention for a few seconds. Squeezing her thigh gently, he leaned over and whispered in her ear. "Hey."

Mira paused in the act of chasing a determined-to-escape pea around her plate and looked at him with a raised eyebrow. (Dyed red to match the festive streaks in her hair.) "Yes?"

"I have another present for you. Meet me in the conservatory at ten to midnight?"

His breath caught when her gaze turned soft and she switched her fork to her left hand so she could lace her fingers with his under the cover of the table. "Of course I will, love."

"Thank you, sweetie," he whispered huskily, sneaking a quick kiss to the extra soft spot just below her ear.

Or not so sneakily as a loudly cleared throat had him springing back into his own space. Poe glued his eyes to his plate after only glancing at her parents sitting across the table and a few chairs down. Ezra was trying to look stern, but his mouth was twitching. Sabine, on the other hand, looked like she would like to cook him for dinner. Is she ever going to let up on me? Geeeez.

Mira squeezed their joined hands still resting on her thigh and leaned over to him. "Don't worry about them. They know I'm not giving you up."

"Tell that to your mother," he muttered under his breath, stabbing at a piece of nuna meat with a little more enthusiasm than necessary.

Mira only laughed softly before returning to her dinner and her excited chatter with her brother about everything that had happened in their lives in the last few months. Poe sighed and savoured the echoes of the pleasant shiver from how her breath had warmed his skin. Later. She'll be all mine again later.

"I know your pain," Admiral Solo said sotto voice from the chair to his right.

Poe looked over at Ben's father in surprise. "You do?"

Han Solo flicked his eyes at his wife in the next chair over, currently talking to her twin enthusiastically about something New Alderaan related. "Her father has been giving me death glares since Endor. And considering who he used to be and that he actually tortured me once before he even knew Leia was his daughter, I'm still worried for my life."

"Wow. Really?"

"Really." The retired Admiral flicked his chin in the general vicinity of behind himself. "Take a look back there where all the ghosts were hanging out. I swear I can feel Vader's glare on the back of my head even now."

Poe casually turned in his chair and had to choke back a snigger for the sake of the older man's pride.

Not only was Anakin Skywalker glaring at Han, he was now doing it from only a metre or so away. The young looking Force Ghost winked at Poe and then turned his gaze back to his son-in-law's head.

Across the table from Poe, Ben was pretending to not see his grandfather while still giving every appearance of being on the verge of cracking up and still doing his level best to keep a straight face. "I keep telling you you're imagining things in your old age, Dad. Grandpa forgave you long ago for being the older nerfherder who seduced his innocent young daughter."

"Right," Han drawled, in the most disbelieving tone possible. "I'll believe that one when Ugnaughts spout wings out of their asses." He turned suddenly, glaring at the group of ghosts near the wall where Anakin had flashed back to and wasn't even facing Han anymore. He grumbled under his breath something that had to do with 'evil scourge of the galaxy' and then turned his focus back to his plate.

Ben and Poe grinned at each other and did the same.

Meanwhile, Mira had driven him nuts the entire time by moving their joined hands to his upper thigh and was stroking her fingers ever so slightly towards and away from the placket of his khakis.

He was going to be hard as a rock before they ever made it to desert, and with no real relief in sight in the immediate future, Poe vowed she was going to owe him for this.

Five hours later…

The day long party was still in full swing for the adults and older children as they waited to count down to the new year when Poe snuck away. He'd seen Mira do the same a few minutes ago after she'd sent him the hottest, 'come hither' look ever given, sending his heart rate skyrocketing and anticipation thrumming through his blood.

Poe strolled with purpose through the mansion to the attached greenhouse. He was going for the 'I have a mission while still looking completely innocent of any shenanigans' walk. He doubted any of the few people he passed believed it, based on the smirks.

But he honestly couldn't make himself care. Because Mira's present was burning a figurative hole in his pocket and had been doing so for the last month while he waited for the perfect time to give it to her. Nothing had felt right so far, and he wasn't sure this was it either, but he couldn't bear to wait anymore and their first Life Day together seemed as romantic as it was going to get.

The glass enclosed conservatory ran the entire length of the gymnasium side of the mansion and was wide enough that the outer wall was almost completely obscured by all the greenery contained within.

And it was dark.

The only illumination came from what little moonlight managed to trickle through the canopy of tall trees. It was just enough to see the darker hued mulch pathways compared to the manicured grass and garden beds.

Poe had only been in the conservatory once before, the last time he and Mira had been on Lothal to check in, but it had been during the day and Mira had been leading him by the hand, so he hadn't actually been paying attention to where she was taking him. (Staring at her like a lovesick idiot would be a more accurate description of what he'd actually been doing.) Now he wandered the paths trying to remember where exactly she'd said was her favourite place in the indoor garden.

He did remember that somewhere in the middle, there had been a grove of fragrant meiloorun trees surrounding the one patch of grass that had a clear line of sight to the glass roof above. She'd said she liked to lie there and look up at the stars when it was too cold outside to do so. (Which honestly wasn't that often on Lothal. Only the poles ever got any snow that stayed.)

It only took him a minute or two to find his destination, but it felt like forever in the dark and the only sound to break the silence was the thudding of his own heart in his ears and his nearly silent footfalls.

Can't believe I'm going to do this. Finally going to ask her… How does ten months go by so quickly and yet feel like an eternity?

On that thought, Poe finally found the grove he was looking for, the trees filled with ripe fruit, and standing in the center with her back to him was the familiar silhouette of his love in her body hugging armour, her helmet on the ground by her feet. She seemed occupied with something, so he walked as softly as he could to sneak up behind her, pulling her present out of his pocket at the same time.

He nearly fumbled the important gift only a few steps away, almost dropping it in the grass and cursing a blue streak in his head at the near disaster, so he was looking at it more than the female in front of him when he sank down to one knee and said, "Mira, you're the light of my life, the air in my lungs, and the fuel in my veins. I love you beyond all reason. Will you marry me?"

"Not a chance, flyboy."

At the voice that was nearly the same as his girlfriend's but not quite, Poe's head whipped up and he stared up at the wrong Wren female in stunned horror. "Oh shit."

"You can say that again," another voice said from the edge of the grove.

Poe leapt to his feet, fingers clenching his present in a death grip and stared at Ezra Bridger in further horror. "I'm sorry, Sir! This isn't what it looks like, I swear!"

And THEN the right voice came from another pathway that connected to the grove."I don't know, Dad, looks pretty incriminating to me." The only good news was that Mira sounded like she was giggling and not pissed off like her mother looked. (The moon was very helpfully shining directly on Sabine as if it was laughing at him.)

Also on the plus side, Ezra was laughing too as he and Mira walked to the center of the grove.

Poe still felt like he wanted a black hole to suck him in and rescue him from his own stupidity. Even if it was an honest mistake. He looked at Mira imploringly, hoping she could see his expression in the dark. "I'm sorry, sweetheart. I honestly thought that was you standing there! I can't believe I just ruined my proposal."

The girl earned his eternal devotion – as if she didn't have it already – when she wrapped her arms around his waist and kissed his cheek and said through her giggles, "I thought it was very sweet. And my answer's yes."

"No it's not!" her mother refuted firmly.

"Sabine…" Ezra shook his head and walked over to grab his wife by the hand while summoning her helmet to his other with the Force. "Come on, my beautiful, caring, and forgiving wife and leave the kids be."

"But…"

"No," Ezra said firmly as he dragged Sabine away and Poe gawked at the sheer balls the older man had to dare such a thing. "Our daughter is old enough to make up her own mind about stuff like this. And you know fully well they're Force bound."

"I know, but..."

"They're fine."

Sabine huffed loudly, heard even though they were now out of sight behind the trees. "But what about Hera's remembrance candle?"

"We'll light it in the Ghost instead," Ezra said placatingly.

"All right." A few seconds later, like a just a wisp of a cloud, he heard, "I still don't like him."

Poe looked at Mira, his expression stuck somewhere between amazed and appalled while hers beamed with amusement (the moonlight was loving her now), and said, "Do I ever have a hope of being able to do that to you?"

She smirked as she kissed him on his stubbly chin. "Maybe in another twenty years or so, babe."

Grinning in anticipation, he wrapped his arms around her in return. "I'll take it."

He moved to stroke her long ponytail (a look Sabine was also sporting today, curse her) and stopped when he noticed his hand was still in a fist. Frag.

Pulling back, Poe held out his hand, flashing a silver ring for a second before he thought better of it and dropped back down to one knee and held the ring up properly for her to inspect. It was just a plain durasteel band with Mando'a lettering around the flat surface and not worth much to most, but to him, it was priceless. "Mira, my love, my everything. I know it's not much, but it was my mother's and it would mean the galaxy to me if you would wear it too. Would you please be my wife?"

His beautiful girl smiled as she knelt in front of him and cupped his face in her hands to kiss him sweetly. Her amber eyes shone in the moonlight as she gazed at him afterward. "Yes, Poe'ika. I will."

She held her left hand out and he slid the ring on her finger, his heart thumping like a happy drum in a chest overflowing with emotion. Mira spun the ring around on her finger, squinting at the tiny letters, trying to read them in the dark. After a few seconds she gave up and asked, "What does it say?"

He grinned wickedly. "Property of Poe."

Mira gasped and punched his shoulder. "What?!"

Laughing, he resisted the urge to rub his now sore shoulder out of pride. "Just kidding, baby. I had it engraved a month ago. It says, 'Mhi Solus Tome' after those words you whispered to me once when you thought I was sleeping. I couldn't remember all of it, but I did remember the first part. And with some digging through the holonet and some false tries on spelling, I found out you'd said, 'We are one when together' and I couldn't agree more, so I put it on the ring for you. In your language even."

For the first time since the day she'd claimed him on Takodana, Poe saw her eyes glisten with unshed tears before she gave a little squeal and tackled him to the ground, kissing him like he was her only source of oxygen.

Poe smiled into the kiss for a second before he fully committed to kissing her back with everything he had. Her hands went from his hair to under his shirt at some point, stroking over the muscles of his chest appreciatively. He returned the favour by pulling her bodysuit top out from under the waistband of her pants and diving his hands down below two layers of fabric so that he was cupping and kneading the luscious globes of her ass while also applying just enough pressure to grind her down against his already rock-hard erection.

She pulled away from their kiss for a moment to gasp out, "Force, I love you, Poe Dameron."

"Love you more," he gasped back a millisecond before she was nibbling on his bottom lip and her hands were travelling back down his chest, over his abs, and to the clasp of his belt.

He sucked in air and let up on her ass to give her clever hands room to work between them.

Mira had his belt undone and his zipper lowered in record time, probably using Force speed again. Then her hot little hands were pushing his khakis and boxers down just far enough to release his length to the humid air. (If the air had been humid a few minutes ago, he hadn't noticed, but it certainly was now.) "Kriffing, fragging, hell," he ground out through clenched teeth as those same hot little hands stroked his length from root to head and back again as she smiled at him like a goddess.

"Always so eager for me, Poe'ika," she whispered wickedly. "And it makes me so shabla wet."

He gulped. "Frag, baby. You're killing me already."

"Excellent," she purred, squiggling out of his grip and standing so she straddled his legs. Her belt hit the ground, blasters making a dull thud against the grass. Followed by the upper part of her bodysuit with the armour still attached to it. (It took a lot of determination and flexibility to pull that off, something his Mira girl had in spades.) She looked so hot in just her sports bra and lower half of her bodysuit and armour, that he was properly panting and overheating now.

Sitting up, he struggled out of his leather jacket and pulled his t-shirt off over his head in desperation, tossing the later away to frag-cares-where. Then he reached up and grabbed her by the hips and pulled her back down into his lap.

"But I'm not…"

"Don't care," he interrupted before plastering his mouth to hers and sinking a hand into her ponytail to hold her still for his plundering tongue.

Mira, never one to be outdone, fought for control of the kiss while shimmying her tight leggings and panties down to her thighs, which had to be cutting into her skin, but she didn't seem to care. Her core was hot and slippery with juices as she rubbed herself over his cock as hard as she could grind down on him.

Poe groaned at the exquisite torture that was close to perfection but not quite. "Frag, baby, I need in you," he husked out between kisses.

"Yessssss," she hissed back before biting his lower lip and then trailing a path of wet kisses down his jaw.

Hanging on to her hips, he pulled her forward a bit so that he could find her entrance, but the angle just didn't quite work with her leggings in the way. Suddenly inspired, he flipped her over so she was facing upwards as well and her soft bottom was now nestled against his abs. Mira squeaked at the sudden change in position before she got it and was helping him by reaching down into the small gap available and guiding him in.

They both shuddered and exhaled in bliss as he used his grip on her hips to push her down his entire length. "That good, baby?" he whispered in her ear.

"Force, yes," she groaned out, her entire channel clenching on him in welcome.

Poe hummed in male pride as he started to rock his pelvis up into her. One hand moved up and under her bra, cupping one of her perfect little breasts and thumbing over her nipple, quickly bring it to a peak. He moved to the other as she purred for him, head thrown back over his shoulder.

Poe rocked harder, kissing her neck and soon sucking on it, for sure leaving a bruise for her mother to glare at him for tomorrow, but he didn't care.

"Yes, Poe. Yes, Poe. Yes, Poe," she chanted under her breath with each thrust of his hips. He loved that just as much as the feel of her ass in his lap. It felt like they'd been designed to fit together like matching puzzle pieces and he thanked the Force for it on a daily basis.

Feeling her stomach starting to tense under his fingers, Poe moved his hand down and started rubbing her clit in swift circles.

She cried soundlessly in her climax, body arching up as she turned her head and buried her face in his neck, one arm almost strangling him as she hung on to him.

Inspired by the rhythmic clenching of her soaking channel around his cock, Poe came too, drenching her in more seed than should be possible. If they both didn't have contraceptive implants, he had no doubt that they'd be rushing to get married sooner than later.

Panting for air as his body shivered through electric aftershocks, and he gradually softened while still staying firmly planted within her thanks to the confines of their clothes, Poe turned and kissed her sweaty forehead. "Love you, Mira," he whispered.

She opened her eyes, gleaming in the dark, and tugged him so that she could kiss him. It was somehow sweet and just as sassy as she was at the same time. "Love you more, Poe."

Grinning like he'd just won the million credit Tashtor Classic all over again, he winked at her. "I look forward to proving you wrong, baby."

Mira laughed softly. "You can try."

Holding her tight against his chest, they both turned their attention up to the stars far, far above them. "The only thing more beautiful than the stars..." he said softly after a pleasant minute of silence, just enjoying each other, "…is you. Happy Life Day, my future wife."

He could feel Mira smile wider against his cheek where they were pressed together. "Flattery will get you everywhere, Poe Dameron. Happy Life Day, ner riduur."
