Chapter 32: Positive

Cora sat across from Archie who was looking at her with the most terrified look, he was scared out of his mind.

"Don't worry dear, I won't hurt you, I just want to know my daughters' weakness, of course, she came to you with her open conscious" Cora said with a smirk.

"I'm not telling you anything," Archie said as he looked at the red-headed lady across from him.

Cora smirked, "Well if that's what you wish, I mean, I could just turn you back into a cricket...or worse," Cora said as she started to lift her hand in mid-air, about to move it like she was going to cast a spell.

"Ok don't hurt me, I'll tell you everything you want to hear," Archie squinted, hoping that he had already not spoken to slow.

Cora got a wide grin on her lips, her plan was coming into place, "Good." The only thing left to do was to get Regina right where she wanted her.

When Emma woke up that morning she was expecting to wake up with an upset stomach, but fortunately she was feeling fine, which was a relieve considering it was the day of Archie's funeral and she didn't want to be the only one in town that wasn't going to be there.

Henry was wearing his best suit, along with one that sort of matched Killians, it was just a regular black button-up shirt with some black formal pants and black leather shoes, while Emma, on the other hand, was wearing some fitted jeans, black boots, a black shirt and black coat, she didn't have many funeral clothes considering literally her whole life in Storybrooke, nobody died.

"Everything alright love?" Killian whispered over to his wife as they stood listening to the things being said about Archie and how he was loved by all.

Emma nodded her head, it was true she was feeling fine, but she was also feeling a little bit of anxiety kick in. She couldn't shake her mothers' words from yesterday, pregnant, she couldn't be, could she?

"Emma, do you mind taking Neil?" Snow whispered to her daughter as she came over holding Neil.

Was this just her mother telling her that she still believed she was pregnant?

Emma was hesitant but she nodded, as she reached over and took her baby brother in her arms, looking at his green eyes, the same green eyes she had. She smiled, but then she realized how weird it would be to have a baby when her own brother wasn't even a month old yet.

As Snow had paced the small boy over to Emma, he could tell her mind was not at ease, she was worried about something and he couldn't tell what it was, was it him? Did he do something? Was she keeping a secret from him? There were so many things going through his mind, but right here and now was not the time to ask, he would have to remember to ask her later on tonight.

"Some of us knew him as Archie, others as Jiminy, but we all knew him as a true friend. And though now he may be gone he will always live on inside of us, reminding us to be our best selves, to do the right thing, to always fight for what we believe in. So we shouldn't think of today as a goodbye, just as a way of saying, Archie, we'll be listening." During her speech, Snow teared up, a good friend of hers was gone forever, ripped from their lives just as they were all just starting over again.

David embraced his wife and kissed the top of her head, he knew she would be hurting for a while, but he would be there for her.

"I'm going to miss him," Henry said as tears ran down his cheeks as they stood in front of his tombstone.

"We're all going to miss him," Killian said patting his sons back, as he looked over at Emma who was still looking down at her baby brother.

Would it be to strange to have a baby when your mother just had a baby? Emma questioned herself, now that Snow had gotten the idea of her being pregnant in her mind she couldn't stop thinking about it, about all the things she would actually get to experience but was it too soon? She just got her son back, was she ready to have another baby? Was Killian and her ready? She was positive she wasn't pregnant but she was worrying about things that you would worry about if you did end up pregnant unexpectedly.

"Alright, Emma?" Snow questioned whipping away her tears as she came over to collect her son.

Emma nodded, but her mother knew it was a lie, she was thinking about their conversation from Grannies.

Rumple pulled up to the town line, he knew this was the best time to try his little experiment, considering the whole town would be at the crickets funeral today.

Stepping out of his car, he walked over to the trunk and opened it, a young man who everybody called Smee was locked in his trunk, hands tied. "Get up!" Rumple grunted as he pulled him out of the trunk and onto his feet.

"This will only take a moment," Gold said poking Smee in his gut with his cane, making him back up closer to the town's line, the place nobody could go.

Smee knew what this man was going to do, he was scared, "Please don't push me over the line, I'll forget who I am, that's a cruel fate."

"As I care, dearie," Gold said pushing Smee to the ground with his cane, removing the red cap that he always had placed on his head, no matter the day or season, "You've had this rag since the day we met. Why is it so important to you?"

"My grandmother made it for me when I was a boy. It always brought me good fortune. What difference does it make?" Questioned Smee as he looked up at Rumple, who was pouring some kind of weird liquid on his keepsake.

"Oh ho ho, all the difference in the world, it's your only chance," Said Rumple as he threw the cap back at its rightful owner.

Smee placed the cap back on his head where it belonged, "What do you mean my only..." he couldn't finish his question because before it could come out Rumple kicked him across the town line, immediately having visible magic running across his whole body. This was it, this was when Smee lost his memories for good, or at least that's what he thought.

"What's your name?" Questioned Rumple as the magic stopped and Smee brushed himself off.

Smee looked at him, "W-William Smee."

"And who am I?"

"Rumplestiltskin, the dark one," Smee was puzzled, "I-I remember everything! How can this be?" He was more than happy that he wouldn't have to go back to his cursed memories.

Rumple grinned, "Well, it seems like our little experiment was a success," He stated before pulling Smee back over the line, back into Storybrooke where the magic existed, "Now go! I have a trip to plan!" Rumple explained as Smee ran off, scared out of his mind, hoping that he would never have to go through another one of those moments ever again.

After the funeral, everybody decided to go over to Snow and David's house, they were just having a small wake, a get-together, a little celebration on Archies life. They had food, and drinks and many of their friends attended.

Emma watched, with a bag of popcorn in her hand as her parents played peek-a-boo with Neil as the young baby laughed up at his parents, it was weird to think that her parents had children twenty-eight years apart, I mean if they were still young and able to, especially considering the curse kept them younger then why not.

Killian looked down at Emma from his tall glass of beer and saw that her gaze was focused over on her parents and the younger lad, Neil. "something on your mind, love?"

Emma got out of her trance and cleared her throat, "Um no, just thinking." How could she tell Killian about the conversation her and Snow had, they had just gotten their family together and now the mention of another baby was being questioned by her mother.

"I'll be back," Emma said as she then walked over to the bathroom, not only just because she really had to pee, but because she had to be alone for just a moment.

As she sat there with her face in her hands she looked over and noticed a small apple basket, but inside that basket was filled with toilet paper, but other than that she saw it, a pregnancy test. Emma figures it was from when they were cursed and Mary-Margaret and David were trying to get pregnant with multiple failed attempts.

Should I? she asked herself. If she did the test now, at least she would know and prove her mother wrong, but if she was it would prove why she was feeling sick lately.

Picking up the test she held it in her hands, nervous, she took it. As she finished up in the bathroom, the loading pregnancy test was tucked into her pocket, ready to be looked at later.

Belle rushed over to the pawnshop, Rumple had called her, sounding like he had just discovered the meaning of all means.

"Hey, what-ah, what's wrong that you couldn't tell me over the phone?" Belle questioned rushing into the shop and over to the desk where Rumple stood.

"I did it, I can leave," Rumple said ecstatically.

Belle arched a brow, "You can cross the town line?" She knew he had been working so hard at trying to leave this town.

Rumple nodded, "Indeed, I can," He said as he reached and grabbed for a small bottle that contains a light blue glowing liquid, "When I pour this potion onto an object that I hold most dear, that object will then become a talisman, it allows me to cross the town line and still remember who I am."

"And who you're looking for," Belle said with a smile.

"My boy," Rumple said smiling, thinking of his little boy who he wished he never abandoned, who he wished he went through a portal with because then he would at least be happy, even without the magic.

"What, um, what will you enchant?" Belle questioned, hoping the answer would be her, but she knew that he held something of his sons most dear to his heart.

Rumple turned around, and opened up a safe that he kept hidden behind the wall, "This shawl...is all I have left of my baelfire."

Belle looked down and hesitated, "I uh, I don't suppose I could come with you?" She asked.

Rumple shook his head, "I truly wish you could, but this is my journey. I'm afraid that this is something I have to do alone," He told her as he then embraced her, wishing he could so truely take her with him, he hated to be away from his teacup.

"I know," Belle said as she hugged him, remembering how much she enjoyed being with him, at least when he was truthful to her.

Now, you would never know, not even the dark one did, as Cora, was in the backroom of his shop, listening, she was going to surprise him with a little visit, but after hearing the conversation, she now had a new plan in mind, a dark and twisted plan.

During the wake, Emma couldn't help but notice that Henry hadn't moved from his small window sile that looked out to the field, he didn't look at anybody or speak to anybody, she knew he was hurting.

Emma had to try to make her son feel better, "Hey, kid. Are you hungry? I managed to wrangle up a pop tart?" She said jokingly, setting a plate down on the sile next to him.

"No thanks," Henry muttered as he didn't take his glare from out the window.

She frowned as she then walked back over to Killian and her parents. "Well, that went well."

"Emma, you're doing all you can do," Snow said as she rocked Neil.

"That's what makes me feel awful," Emma said, she wished there was more she could do, but she never had to go through this, she never had to comfort a child, was she even doing it right?

Just then Leroy, one of the dwarfs, Grumpy came up, his hat held in his hands, "Ladies, the dwarves have been thinking, we have to ask, when do we go back?"

"Back where?" Emma questioned.

"The Enchanted Forest, our home," Leroy said, they all wanted to go back ever since the curse broke.

Snow, David, Emma and Killian all looked at each other, they all wanted to go back, but there were so many things that changed ever since they left, the land was unsafe now.

"We fought really hard to get back, mate," Killian spoke up, imagining all the fight they did just to get back to their family and all the fear they had to go through.

"But what Regina did to Archie, Storybrooke ain't as safe as we thought," Leroy said, making out a point, "And it's not just her we have to worry about, there's a whole world of people beyond the town line that don't know who or what we are. Ever think of what might happen if one of them were to come and pay us a visit?"

Ruby stood up from across the room where she was with Jefferson, whos are was wrapped around her waist, "He's right. What if they see, you know, magic? Like a girl turning into a wolf, for example. Folks weren't exactly understanding back in our world."

"Or what if they see a portal opening out of nowhere, which is known to happen," Jefferson pointed out.

"Okay, let's not worry about the what-ifs, no one is here," Emma said. It's strange because when she was growing up, living in a world of magic was normal to her, and she had no idea there was a world where magic didn't exist, where everything was just bland.

"Yet, maybe they come, maybe they don't. But that doesn't change the fact that while we might enjoy things like penicillin, we're a bit homesick," Leroy said, as everybody else in the room nodded, they all just wanted to go home.

After the wake was over and everybody said their goodbyes, Emma, Killian and Henry had all went back to their small cottage, soon to be family home. Henry was still not really talking to anybody and decided to just go and sit outside for a little, just wanting to be by himself for which they understood.

Emma had walked over to the couch and sat down with a loud sigh, what a day it had been, actually what a weird last few days.

"What is it, love? You've been off today," Killian said as he placed his hand on her knee, sitting next to her on the couch.

Emma looked down, "Just been a hard few days."

"Now, I know that's a lie, remember, you're an open book, now why don't you actually tell me what's bothering you?" Killian said with a smirk and raised an eyebrow, his signature look.

Emma looked down and sighed, was she ready to tell him, was this the time. She thought she might as well tell him now rather than waiting and then it is too late when it wouldn't even matter, "I took...a pregnancy test."

Killian was taken back, his whole face went from flattering pirate to shocked speechless, what was he supposed to say?

"It was my mother when I got sick at Granny's, she went into the bathroom and brought up the idea about maybe I was pregnant, and then I just couldn't shake the thought," She explained to him, she almost felt like she had to explain herself like he just didn't understand why she did it.

"And what did it say?" Killian asked. He wanted to know why Emma would keep these thoughts from him, but he did understand she had probably been under stress.

She shook her head and shrugged, "I didn't even look at it."

"Well love, how about we look at it together, hmm?" Killian said looked at her, he saw how her face went pale, was she going to throw up again or did this topic just make her scared?

Emma nodded, "It's just in my pocket," She was scared, but why, it was most likely going to be a negative result. As she reached into her pocket, she could feel her heart pounding in her chest and the room seemed to have picked up the temperature by ten more degrees. When she took it out, it was facing backwards, so they weren't able to see the results at first.

He could tell she was nervous, and he understood, "It's alright love, I'm here." He took her hand in his.

She smiled, she knew he was there for her, she just was nervous, it seemed like she was just finding out she was pregnant not that long ago and before she knew it she gave birth and that baby was already eleven.

Not wanting to waste any more time, she slowly turned it over, closing her eyes and taking a deep breath, when she opened them she was so scared to look at the test.

"So, what does it say?" Killian asked, he never really understood these things.

Finally, she looked down at the test, she studied it for longer then what she had to, because when she looked down the test had already fully developed which wasn't surprising since she took it three hours prior, but what was on the test surprised her, it wasn't just one blue line, it was two, made into a cross.

It took her a couple of seconds to actually make out the words, "It's positive...I'm pregnant."

"You mean we're going to have another baby?" Killian asked as Emma nodded, he had a wide grin on his face, he was more than happy, another baby, that meant Emma was getting a second chance and being the mom she always imagined being.

"We're going to have another baby," Emma said with a smile as Killian took her into a huge embrace, she finally understood the sickness, which was a relief.

Killian couldn't believe it, he was so happy that Henry was going to be an older brother.

Just then the door swung open and a man ran threw the doors, he looked in a panic like he just almost lost his life...but the weirdest thing was, it was Archie.

"Archie?" Emma asked standing up and running over to him, "W-we thought you were dead." She held the man up and looked at him, he had tried up tears down his face, his eyes were red, what did this man go through?

"What happened mate?" Killian asked, his once happy thrill was now gone and turned into sheer panic.

"Archie?!" Just then Henry came in through the doors when he heard his parents yelling, ut he wasn't expecting to see this man. Immediately he ran and embraced the tall red-haired man.

Archie took a breath and hugged Henry back, it felt good to feel somewhat be safe again, "It was Cora, she kidnapped me, but I managed to get out, she doesn't tie her knots very good."

"Cora," Emma looked at Killian, she was in Storybrooke.

Just then Killian's phone started to ring, he answered it and immediately Emma saw his face fall, what now? She thought to herself, she wanted to go back to five minutes ago when she and Killian just found out they were going to be new parents again.

"Something happened, it's Belle," Was the only words Killian said.

There they were, Belle, and Rumple at the Townline, Rumple had the shawl wrapped around his neck, getting ready to leave Storybrooke and start the search for his son.

"Here we go," Rumple said as he took a deep breath, turning around and taking one step away from the town line, feeling the magic leave from the air, was he good? Did he lose his memories? Turning around he looked at her, "Belle."

She smiled, he remembered her, "It worked." She was so happy, she knew how long he had been suffering without his son, and now it was time for them to get reunited once again.

"Yes, it did. It did," Rumple said with a happy grin, "Now I can go find my son, and how I wish you could come with me," He said grabbing BElle by her waist, he was going to miss her so much, especially since he didn't know how long he was going to be gone for.

"I know, as do I, but...It doesn't matter," She said so calmly.

Rumple arched a brow, "And why's that?"

"Because I know you'll find him, and when you do, I'll be here waiting for you when you get back," Belle said with a big smile as she wrapped her arms around her beasts neck, getting ready to kiss him one last time before he leaves her.

Leaning in to kiss her, he couldn't help but feel like something was wrong, somebody was there with them, but before he could do anything the next thing he knew he heard a shot, a shot that made Belle fall into him and outside the towns line, the magic swept across Belle, she collapsed in his arms, what just happened.

"I guess you'll never actually find your true love, Rumple," A voice said from the shadows.

Looking up from his bleeding love, he noticed that voice, it was so familiar, and yet how could he not forget. "Cora, you did this!" He shouted with the most upright anger he had felt in years.

She laughed, "The one and only."

"Why would you do this?!" He shouted placing Belle softly on the ground, getting up.

"Don't you see, she's weakening you! I don't even recognize you, the Rumple I remember who never be falling for a girl like her...you would be wreaking havoc on this town," Cora said.

Rumple could feel the anger getting worse, "Well I'm no longer that man!" He shouted as he then conjured a fireball in his palm, but before he could even throw it, he spotted headlights coming straight forward him, quickly grabbing Belle and jumping out the way, he noticed the licence plate, it wasn't from here, it was from Pennsylvania, did outsiders find their way to Storybrooke?

Cora had managed to escape without a trail before anybody showed up to the scene because she knew with a town full of heroes, somebody was bound to.

I got this one up pretty early! Sorry if it seems rushed, just making up for the lost time, I guess. Let me know what you guys things in the reviews! Did any of you guys think Emma would be pregnant?

Next time: Chapter 33: Cora must be stopped!
