A Hellsing Fanfic

Disclaimer: I do not own Hellsing

Halloween was coming and everyone could tell by the crisp autumn air and the decorations that the nearby stores sold. Walter usually put up a sign that told potential trick or treater, that no candy would be given at the residence. This deterred would-be vandals-usually. However this year Walter had requested for some time off so that he could attend the International Butlers Society Annual Convention, something that Integra believed at first was complete bullocks.

"Walter if you want some vacation time, then just ask. You do not have to make up some ridiculous event just to get it."

The butter handed the heiress the letter that he had received in the mail, "I knew you would say that. Feeling kind of foolish now, aren't we?"

"This convention of yours is real?"

"Yes it is, Sir."

"Fine you may have your vacation, Walter."

"Thank you, Sir" and with that Walter went to pack his bags for his vacation. In his haste during the days leading up to the big day, Walter forgot about Halloween, trick-or' treaters and the sign stopping people from ringing the doorbell all night. So when he left, the overeager yet under qualified maid took his place leaving Integra wondering why she allowed this. But she didn't want to put a damper on the young maid's spirit; however she did not drink any of the tea the maid gave her.

Soon the dreaded unholy day of Halloween was upon the Hellsing Manor before Integra realized it. She was reminded of what day it was, by Seras' off key, very loud version of 'Let it Go' from the movie Frozen, something that made the commander cringed, both at the singing and that Seras had forced her to sit through the movie. As Seras burst into the office, she twirled around still singing until Integra could take it no more. "Seras, perhaps you should let singing go."

"I'm Elsa from Frozen!"

"I know."

"What are going to be for Halloween? You could be Anna."

"No thank you."

"Please? We could be sisters!"

"No Seras, I don't dress up."

"Not even as a kid?"

"No, not even as a child. I don't see the point."

"The point is because it's fun. The costumes, the candy, the games, the candy, the parties, bobbing for apples, the candy..."

"You said 'candy' three times, Seras".

"That reminds me. I have to get the candy!"

"What candy?"

"The ones for the trick or treaters, Sir Integra."

"Isn't there a sign that says that we don't give sweets to begging hooligans?"

"No, Walter didn't put one up."

"Perhaps he forgot."

"Maybe Sir, he wanted us to give out candy this year"

"Well that's bloody, unfair he is on vacation at the Ass Kissers Convention."

"But Sir Halloween is a great holiday. We should celebrate at least this year. Please? Pretty please?"

"I'll think about it."

"Ok!" and Seras skipped out of the office.

"You're planning something Master," Alucard said with a wide grin.

"Yes. You're in charge of the beggars."

"Me?"

"Yes. You ever notice that when they say trick or treat' that those little buggers are always given candy. Well this year we change that. It's Halloween, so I say scare the bloody hell out of the brats."

Alucard laughed loudly, "So it's nothing but tricks and scares this this Halloween. I love the way you think, Master. Seras will not be happy though."

'That's what she gets for suggesting that I dress as the princess that nobody likes.".

Later that night Integra found that Seras along with the soldiers and Wild Geese had decorated the Manor with all manner of decorations, much to her chagrin. Cotton stretched about to look like spider webs with several plastic spiders attached. Skeletons were placed in strange places, like one sitting on the couch with a remote control in its hand. Another one was found in a bed and one was even sitting on the toilet. Additionally there was someone who jump out to scare people. Integra felt that she may have had broken her hand on that 15th punch. Finally it got through thick skulls not to jump scare Integra. The commander allowed for the staff to have a party under circumstances they clean up afterwards, no matter how long it took

"By the time I wake up, this ballroom had better as exactly as you met it. If not you will not being seeing a paycheck for a long time."

Soon the first set of children came to the door, this group was a group of five and six years olds dressed in an assortment of costumes, pirates, princess, the classic ghost and a boy dressed up as Charlie Brown. When the door was opened they said "Trick or treat!" They expected to see a parent like person also wearing a costume; instead they looked way up at the grinning face of Alucard. "Hey kids, wanna see a trick?" he asked, his booming voice.

"Please sir" the woman was with the children said, "Just give them the candy."

Alucard frowned "They said 'trick OR treat' so I believe that it is my right to choose."

"But..."

"What's the trick, mister?" asked the pirate.

"It's this." And with that Alucard promptly removed his head from his shoulders. "Neat right?" The children screamed at the sight of a decapitated head still talking. He then tossed it among the children and said "Catch!" The terrified group ran through the gates without a glance backwards.

"How rude of them to let you drop your head, Alucard", Integra smirked, having seen the interaction, "have they been raised in the zoo?" Alucard laughed as he replaced his head on his shoulders. Seras came from the party and seeing both Integra and Alucard grinning, she eyed them suspiciously, "What are you two doing?"

"Nothing" both vampire and heiress said in unison.

"Why did I hear screaming?"

"Why are you asking us about the voices in your head?" asked Integra.

"I know you two are doing something."

"Go back and enjoy the party, Seras," said Alucard.

"Ha! I knew it! You are up to something!"

"Are you ok?" asked Integra.

"Master, would have called me 'police girl'! That's how I know you two are doing something!"

"Seras…. "

The doorbell ringing interrupted Integra, Seras grabbed a bucket of candy, "I'll give out the candy." She opened the door and there were a group that decided to do Disney themed costumes, there was even a little girl dressed up as Elsa.

"Aww how cute" crooned Seras, "we are dressed up as the same princess Elsa!"

However that is not what the girl saw or heard. What she saw was the doors of Hell open, molten hot flames spewed forth as if longing for the taste of fresh human children flesh. Then a female demon all teeth, legs, and breasts stepped through and spoke in what can only be described as the guttural growls and snarls of Beelzebub. The children might as well have been on muscle relaxers because every one of them passed themselves, before dropping their candy and ran off crying. Seras looked confused, "What happened?" The fledgling got her answer from Alucard and Integra both laughing hysterically. "What the bloody hell did you two do?"

"Nothing" said Alucard, "that was all you."

"You did something Alucard!"

"Calm down Seras" said Integra, "You're the one who suggested we celebrate this damnable holiday."

"Besides a little scare never hurt anybody" said Alucard still grinning.

"There was that old lady who dropped dead because she was afraid of bees" said Integra.

"But there are no bees here so everything fine."

"No it's not! I'm dressed as Elsa, she's not scary I know you're doing something." Sera stomped back to the ballroom.

"I told you, she wouldn't be happy", said Alucard.

"Too bad her costume choice for me was terrible."

A third group approached the manor and they rang the doorbell. Alucard opened it, after saying customary line of begging for sweets, one boy held out a case with a tarantula in it, "I have the have it spider in the world!" he bragged. Alucard scoffed "Oh please that thing is puny compared to my spider." The vampire gave a loud and sharp whistle, "Come here Fido! Good boy!" The sound of clicking and clacking could be heard and a large black widow spider crawled over the manor. Its many red eyes, glaring at the children and its mandibles clicking audibly. The boy dropped his tarantula and with the others screamed and ran for the hills. After the children were gone the illusion disappeared and Alucard and his master had another laugh attack. But it didn't last long, Seras had seen the whole thing, "I knew it! You two are scaring off the trick or treaters!"

"You are aware that is part of Halloween?" asked Integra impatiently, she wanted to get back torturing kids. Seras frowned; she had wanted the holiday to be about candy, parties and having fun, not scaring people.

"I'm sick of scaring everyone. In case you haven't noticed I'm a bloody vampire and everyone is afraid of vampires!"

"Not if you're a Twilight fan" muttered Alucard.

"She does have a point" said Integra.

"But she's not the one doing the scaring. I refuse to have my fun ruined because Police Girl can't come to terms that she is a vampire" huffed Alucard. Integra sighed; the vampire king also had a point. He also pointed out that Seras was acting like a child, this earned Alucard the middle finger. But when Seras thought it over, she knew that Alucard was right, not everyone had to have the same kind of fun. However she took the bowl of candy, "If you two are not giving them out then I will eat them. Oooh Snickers!"

"Now back to scaring the pants off of people" grinned Alucard.

While the party went on in the ballroom, Alucard and Integra spent the night torturing those foolish enough to pass through the gates of the Hellsing Manor. The next morning Seras found the two on the couch leaning on each other asleep. She placed a blanket over them and giggled; they had tuckered themselves with their fun. Wait until Walter found out.
