Episode 493: Power Rangers RPM: Ranger Black: Part I

In the Corinth Schoolhouse, Dr. K and Ziggy are teaching kids when Dr. K's phone goes off. She glances at it and then says "I've got to go"

"Anything wrong?" Ziggy asked

"I don't think so" said K "but I'm not sure"

In the Garage, Dr. K arrives to see all the lights in her lab turned off, with the monitors on, but set to black. Words begin to form on the screens

"Something is not right" said the words on the screen

"Venjix is gone" said K "the Dome has been all but perfected, Rossi isn't even aware of what happened yet"

"I wouldn't be so sure about that" said the screen

"What do you mean?" K asked

"There was a flicker in the Dome" said the screen "it didn't go completely down, it only went down long enough to transmit a message. I couldn't see who was in the control room at the time, something jammed the cameras"

"What message was sent?" K asked

"I do not know" said the screen "it was too heavily encrypted"

"But you can decrypt anything" said K

"Almost anything" said the screen "there's only one being that can jam my cameras and encrypt something so heavily that I can't decrypt it"

"Venjix is back" said K

"Yes" said the screen

"I've got to inform the others" said K

"There's something you should know" said the screen "I don't know the specifics, but someone opened the briefcase containing the Morphers and plugged one of them into the computers"

"No" said K and she ran over to briefcase and opened it "No, no, no!" as she noticed one of the Morphers was missing. She runs over to a computer and types in something "Jam all cameras and microphones, along with all wired and wireless signals, now!"

"But…" said the screen "that will cut me off from everything!"

"And him" said K

"Sigh" said the screen "very well, but you'll be on your own, I won't be able to help you"

"I know" said K

"I will momentarily unjam everything in 24 hours" said the screen "you will have one minute to tell me it's over, or else I'll jam everything for another 24 hours"

"Understood" said K as the words on the screens began to fragment as the being using the screen jammed everything. Dr. K grabbed the briefcase with the Morphers and ran out "I've got to find Colonel Truman and the Eagle Squadron!"

At the Eagle Squadron Base, Colonel Truman, Scott, Gem, and Gemma are trying to figure out what is going on when Dr. K runs in

"Doctor" said Truman "what is going on?"

"Venjix is back" said K

"No!" said Scott "we destroyed him"

"Apparently not" said K "I've jammed everything, it should slow Venjix down. I also activated an emergency protocol in the Dome, it can't be fully turned off quickly, it will take time, so Venjix can't call for help or escape" and all of a sudden they hear a familiar noise

"That's not stopping him from trying" said Scott

"The Dome" said Gem

"Is going down" said Gemma

"How long do we have, Doc?" Scott asked

"About 24 hours" said K

"Can we put the Dome back up?" Truman asked

"Yes" said K "all we have to do is reactivate it in the control room. My emergency protocol won't stop it from going back up almost instantly"

"Eagle Squadron" said Truman "move out"

"Let's go Dino RPM Rangers" said Scott as he activates them

At the Control Room, which had been relocated since the destruction of the Control Tower, Summer, Dillon, and Tenaya are waiting

"What are we doing here, Dillon?" Summer asked

"I don't know" said Dillon "I got a message from Dr. K for us to meet her here. I haven't been able to get ahold of her since"

"You don't think…" Tenaya began

"Venjix is back, no" said Dillon "I think we would know"

"You do know" said a voice and they turned to see Dr. K, Colonel Truman, Eagle Squadron, and the Corinth Defense Force.

"Dr. K" said Summer "what's going on?"

"Venjix is back" said K "and he's lowering the shields. And Dillon is working for him"

"You've lost it, Doc" said Dillon

"Then why are you here?" K asked

"You told me to" said Dillon

"I did not" said K "you made it up to have a reason to come here and turn off the shields"

"Summer" said Dillon "you were with me the whole time we were here, did I turn off the shields?"

"No" said Summer "wait, you were alone when I went to the bathroom…"

"But I was still here with him" said Tenaya

"Like we're going to believe you" said Truman

"And that still doesn't account for the fact that Dillon's Morpher is missing" said K

"Guys" said Scott "we can talk about this later. We need to raise the shield, that will delay Venjix's plans for another day."

"Scott's right" said Gem

"Arguing amongst ourselves" said Gemma

"Is what Venjix wants" said Gem

"To distract us" said Gemma

"While he executes" said Gem

"His final plan" said Gemma

"Very well" said Truman "but I'm taking Dillon and Tenaya into custody until we can investigate this further" and he gestures to two CDF soldiers to arrest them "and someone turn on that shield!" and as Summer goes to turn the shield on, Dillon grabs her

"Dillon" said Summer "let go of me"

"Sorry sweetheart" said Dillon "not gonna happen"

"Let her go Dillon!" said Scott

"My name is Venjix" said Dillon as his eyes glow red "and I am going to end this" and he shoves Summer towards the others and reaches into his pocket to pull out his Rev Morpher and puts it on. He grabs his Engine Cell when Colonel Truman pulls out a blaster and points it at him

"Hold it right there" said Truman "with all the electronics jammed, if I kill your host, you'll have nowhere to go"

"Good move" said Dillon and he raises his hands, smirking "but I have a better one" All of a sudden Colonel Truman cries out in pain and the others turn to see the Mammoth RPM Ranger's Nitro Sword going through his chest

"Dad!" said Scott and he turns to the Dino RPM Rangers "why?" and their visors flash red briefly. Venjix takes advantage of the moment and inserts his Engine Cell into his Rev Morpher

"RPM, GET IN GEAR!" said Venjix "RANGER OPERATOR SERIES BLACK, 5!"

"No" said Scott

"Get them" said Venjix to the Dino RPM Rangers. They force everyone out of the room and then force Dr. K, Scott, Summer, Gem, and Gemma into another room "Guard the Control Room" and the Dino RPM Rangers go to guard the Control Room as he joins Tenaya with the others "Now to finish you" but in all the commotion, he didn't notice Dr. K getting the others their Morphers

"RPM, GET IN GEAR!" said Scott "RANGER OPERATOR SERIES RED, 1!"

"RANGER OPERATOR SERIES YELLOW, 3!" said Summer

"RANGER OPERATOR SERIES GOLD!" said Gem

"RANGER OPERATOR SERIES SILVER!" said Gemma

"You're outnumbered, Venjix" said Scott

"I don't think so" said Venjix "get her" and he points at Dr. K. All of a sudden, the Rangers grab Dr. K

"Let go of me!" said K

"We can't control ourselves" said Scott

"That's right" said Venjix "now that I have you all captive you will listen to me. When the annoying twins dropped the Control Tower on me, I managed to infect the Red Ranger's Morpher"

"No" said Scott

"That's right, Red Ranger, it is because of your carelessness that I am alive and your father is dead" said Venjix "from there I was able to infect the Bio-Field, although not all of it. I must admit my creator, you finally got the Dome right, I can't even use the Bio-Field to escape it, so I was only able infect your Powers. But when the Dome is down I will be able to take over the entire Bio-Field. However, even though I was in the Bio-Field, I was not able to escape. I was able to temporarily take control of Subject D-44 and use him to free me from the Bio-Field and now I have completely possessed of him and Tenaya. I took his Morpher and left the others, knowing you'd morph sooner or later and I'd be able to take control of you then, just as I had already the Dino RPM Rangers. Now my creator, you will be killed by your creations. Ranger Operators, kill her"

"No!" screamed the Rangers, but Scott and Summer had begun to take out their Nitro Swords as Gem and Gemma took out their Cloud Hatchets…
