Episode 494: Power Rangers RPM: Ranger Black: Part II

"It's not your fault Rangers" said K "It's mine. I released Venjix, it's only fit he takes my life" and all of a sudden the door explodes as Flynn and Ziggy run in

"Flynn, Ziggy" said Venjix "they're trying to kill Dr. K, Venjix has control of them"

"It's true" said Tenaya

"Nice try" said Flynn "we heard everything" and he pulls out a device "and I got something from Dr. K's lab" and he hits it, demorphing everyone, freeing the Rangers from Venjix's control.

"The kill switch!" said K

"Guys" said Dillon "I've got control, but I don't know for how long, go!" and they run towards the Control Room, scooping up the Paleozord and Engine Cells before entering the Control Room, going towards the switch to reactivate the shield. All of a sudden, Venjix and Tenaya smash through the wall

"Not so fast" said Venjix

"Ziggy" said Scott "get Dr. K to safety"

"Right" said Ziggy "come on, Doc"

"Whatever you do" said K "don't morph, he'll control you that way" and they leave as Scott, Flynn, Summer, Gem, and Gemma fight Venjix and Tenaya. Despite the fact that they outnumber the villains, Venjix and Tenaya's super strength and reflexes keeps the others on the defense. Venjix hits Flynn and destroys the kill key

"RPM, GET IN GEAR!" said Venjix "RANGER OPERATOR SERIES BLACK, 5! Want to keep fighting, Rangers?"

"Retreat!" said Scott and they run out and stop after a while to catch their breathe

"Why aren't they" Gem began

"Following us?" Gemma finished

"Venjix is out of Grinders" said Scott "his best bet is to guard the Control Room until the Dome lowers"

At the Garage, Ziggy is guarding it as Dr. K works on getting Venjix out of the Bio-Field. The others arrive

"What's your progress, Doc?" Scott asked

"I'm working on altering my antivirus to be able to upload it to the Bio-Field, which should wipe Venjix out of it for good" said K

"Will that be able to save Dillon?" Summer asked

"No" said K

"How about the antivirus you just used a couple of days ago?" Summer asked

"No" said K "that was strong enough to stop Venjix hardware, but not Venjix himself"

"Could you adapt it to be strong enough?" Summer asked

"Perhaps" said K "but that will take time"

"Time we don't have" said Scott "listen Summer, I know Dillon is important to you, but we have to stop Venjix now. If the shield goes down, Rossi will finish us all"

"But Dillon's still in there" said Summer "I know he is"

"That may be" said Scott "but if we can't capture him, we have to destroy him. Summer, I need to know you'll do what needs to be done to protect everyone"

"I… I'll try" said Summer

"Good enough" said Scott

"I've uploaded the antivirus to the Bio-Field" said K "you can now morph"

"Let's go" said Scott "to stop Venjix once and for all" and he goes to pick up the Paleozord

"Leave the Paleozord" said K "because of their unique properties, they may have traces of Venjix still in them, I need to check them. I'll send them your way once everything is okay"

At the Control Room, Scott, Flynn, Summer, Ziggy, Gem, and Gemma arrive to see Venjix and Tenaya still on guard

"So you came back" said Venjix

"It's over, Venjix" said Scott "release Dillon and Tenaya and we'll stick you in a Faraday Cage to live out the rest of your life"

"Yeah, no" said Venjix

"Dillon" said Summer "it's me, Summer, don't do this" and Venjix seems to struggle, but soon regains control

"There is no Dillon, only Venjix" said Venjix

"Then I'm going to have to end this" said Summer "RPM, GET IN GEAR!"

"RANGER OPERATOR SERIES RED, 1!" said Scott

"RANGER OPERATOR SERIES BLUE, 2!" said Flynn

"RANGER OPERATOR SERIES YELLOW, 3!" said Summer

"RANGER OPERATOR SERIES GREEN, 4!" said Ziggy

"RANGER OPERATOR SERIES GOLD!" said Gem

"RANGER OPERATOR SERIES SILVER!" said Gemma

"Street Saber!" said Scott

"Nitro Sword!" said Flynn

"Nitro Blaster!" said Summer

"Turbo Axe!" said Ziggy

"Cloud Hatchets!" said Gem and Gemma and they fight Venjix and Tenaya.

"Rocket Blaster!" said Venjix "Nitro Blaster!" and he blasts the Rangers. Venjix grabs Summer and throws her and she drops her Nitro Blaster. Tenaya blasts Summer, demorphing her

"Summer!" said Scott

"I'm fine" said Summer as she picks up her Nitro Blaster and continues to fire it.

"Ziggy" said Scott "teleport Gem, Gemma, Tenaya, and yourself out of here"

"Right" said Ziggy and they teleport away

"So it ends as it begins" said Dillon "with just us four"

"It will end, with only three" said Scott and he attacks Venjix with his Street Saber. Venjix uses his Nitro Sword to duel him. Scott knocks the Nitro Sword out of Venjix's hand. Scott cuts through Venjix with his Street Saber, demorphing him. Summer tackles Venjix, knocking his Rocket Blaster away and points her Nitro Blaster directly at his head, her finger on the trigger, about to pull it

"Dillon" said Summer "don't make me do this"

"Don't waste anytime, Summer" said Scott "just do it!"

"Summer?" Dillon asked "What's going on?"

"Dillon?" Summer asked as she removes her finger from the trigger and slowly lowers her Nitro Blaster. Dillon grabs his Nitro Sword and stabs her through the stomach with it and she collapses and he stands back up

"Summer!" said Scott as he cradles her in his arms "no, no, no!"

"There's still good in him" said Summer

"You vain, foolish girl!" said Venjix "Do you think he really loved you? Dillon was never real. He was nothing more than a collection of flesh and machine, as was Tenaya. All of his memories were falsified. All the times he seemed to regain control, was just me faking it. He was simply meant to distract you and then serve as my final body, a plan that went flawlessly"

"Summer, Summer" said Scott "stay with me. I love you"

"I'm sorry" said Summer and then her body went limp

"No, no, no!" said Scott trying to get her to wake up

"Scott" said Flynn, checking her pulse "she's gone"

"You will pay for this, Venjix" said Scott, standing up, his suit stained with Summer's blood "if it is the last thing I do, you will pay!" and he charges at Venjix with his Street Saber

"This should be interesting" said Venjix and he charges Scott with his Nitro Sword and they duel. Flynn watches, not daring to intervene.

Elsewhere in Corinth, Ziggy, Gem, and Gemma battle Tenaya. Ziggy strikes her with the Turbo Axe as Gem and Gemma strike her with their Cloud Hatchets and she collapses.

"NITRO BLASTER!" said Ziggy

"SKYSHIFT BLAZERS!" said Gem

"ENGINE CELL, ACTIVATE!" said Ziggy and he inserts Engine Cell 4 into his Nitro Blaster

"ENGINE CELL, ACTIVATE!" said Gem and he inserts Engine Cell 7 into his SkyShift Blazer

"ENGINE CELL, ACTIVATE!" said Gemma and she inserts Engine Cell 8 into her SkyShift Blazer

"FIRE!" said the Rangers and Tenaya is destroyed, but the blast demorphs them

"We've got to get back to" said Gem

"the Control Room" said Gemma

"To help the others" said Ziggy and they race back to the Control Room

In the Control Room, Scott and Venjix's duel continues. Venjix grabs his Rocket Blaster and shoots Scott, sending him flying and demorphing him. Flynn takes the opportunity to shoot Venjix, who groans in pain

"RPM, GET IN GEAR!" said Venjix "RANGER OPERATOR SERIES BLACK, 5!" and Flynn continues to blast him, but Venjix activates his shield, sending it back, demorphing Flynn. Scott grabs Summer's Nitro Blaster and turns it to sword mode, putting Engine Cell 3 into it, energizing the blade

"This is for you, Summer" said Scott and he charges Venjix, who still had his Nitro Sword

Ziggy, Gem, and Gemma arrive to see the duel

"Summer" said Ziggy and he turns to Flynn "why aren't you helping him?"

"You want to get in that, even with Morphers?" Flynn asked

"Venjix can't get away with this" said Ziggy

"We should be able to harness enough Power" said Gem

"To summon our weapons" said Gemma

"Nitro Blasters" said Flynn and Ziggy

"SkyShift Blazers" said Gem and Gemma

"Engine Cell, activate" said Flynn, inserting Engine Cell 2

"Engine Cell, activate" said Ziggy, inserting Engine Cell 4

"Engine Cell, activate" said Gem, inserting Engine Cell 7

"Engine Cell, activate" said Gemma, inserting Engine Cell 8 and their weapons begin glowing with Power

"It's over Venjix" said Flynn "even with Ranger Black's Powers, you won't be able to survive this blast"

"You won't risk hitting your friend" said Venjix

"That's right" said Flynn

"If he dies, you die" said Ziggy as the duel continues

At the Garage, Dr. K's screen go dark as words appear

"Do you want me to continue blocking everything?" the screen asked

"Yes" said K "no, I mean no. I mean, I don't know, what's going on? Keep everything blocked outside of this lab and the cameras and microphones in the Control Room. Bring up footage of the Control Room" and one of the screens show the camera feed from the Control Room "Summer, no! It's… it's all my fault"

"We must hurry if we are to stop Venjix" said the screen "only a few more minutes until the shields are fully deactivated. And with the weakened shield, my sensors can detect an aircraft approaching, with what appears to be a nuclear weapon on it"

"Then we've lost" said K, watching the duel "Venjix doesn't need to win the duel, he just needs it last long enough for the shields to go down and the aircraft to kill us all"

"But he'll die too" said the screen

"Maybe" said K "but he's survived a lot, and now he has Ranger Powers. If he called the aircraft, he probably has a plan to survive. We might not be able to stop him now, but maybe we can help someone else stop him later"

"How?" the screen asked

"You" said K "you are the one thing that has the power to stop Venjix on his own field. Assemble the events of the last few days from video footage, it should still be stored on the cameras' internal memory"

"This will let people know the truth" asked the screen "but how will I survive?"

"I'll put you in these" said K and she pulled out two suitcases "I found these a while ago, I'm not sure where they came from, but they are suppose to be indestructible. I can remotely set the Morphers to return to one once… once their owners die. I'll put you in the other"

"But what if Venjix gets them?" the screen asked

"He won't" said K "the suitcases can only be opened by special keys, I don't even know what they are, but when the time is right, the right people will find them"

"But how will you fit me in there" said the screen "you don't have anything that has enough memory to store me and yet will still fit in the suitcase… unless… you don't mean"

"Attack Zord 13" said K "you should be able to fit in the Zord"

"All right" said the screen "plug it in and I'll download myself into it. But I won't be able to help you once I'm in it"

"I know" said K "have you assembled the footage of what's happened?"

"Yes" said the screen "I did it while we were talking, and set the Morphers to return once… once it's done. The shields will be completely down in sixty seconds. I'll miss you, you didn't create me, but you were my friend"
