Episode 521: Power Rangers Tribulation: The Machine's Last Stand
"God tested Abraham and said to him, 'Abraham!' And he said, 'Here I am' He said, 'Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you.' So Abraham rose early in the morning, saddled his donkey, and took two of his young men with him, and his son Isaac. And he cut the wood for the burnt offering and arose and went to the place of which God had told him. On the third day Abraham lifted up his eyes and saw the place from afar. Then Abraham said to his young men, 'Stay here with the donkey; I and the boy will go over there and worship and come again to you.' And Abraham took the wood of the burnt offering and laid it on Isaac his son. And he took in his hand the fire and the knife. So they went both of them together. And Isaac said to his father Abraham, 'My father!' And he said, 'Here I am, my son.' He said, 'Behold, the fire and the wood, but where is the lamb for a burnt offering?' Abraham said, 'God will provide for himself the lamb for a burnt offering, my son.' So they went both of them together.
When they came to the place of which God had told him, Abraham built the altar there and laid the wood in order and bound Isaac his son and laid him on the altar, on top of the wood. Then Abraham reached out his hand and took the knife to slaughter his son. But the angel of the Lord called to him from heaven and said, 'Abraham, Abraham!' And he said, 'Here I am.' He said, 'Do not lay your hand on the boy or do anything to him, for now I know that you fear God, seeing you have not withheld your son, your only son, from me.' And Abraham lifted up his eyes and looked, and behold, behind him was a ram, caught in a thicket by his horns. And Abraham went and took the ram and offered it up as a burnt offering instead of his son. So Abraham called the name of that place, 'The Lord will provide'; as it is said to this day, 'On the mount of the Lord it shall be provided.'" -Genesis 22:1-14
Outside of the Remnant, Rossi talks to his kings and generals
"Ha!" said Rossi "His earthquake meant to wipe us out has made His people vulnerable. Now wipe them out, all of them"
"Wait, milord" said Venjix
"You dare try to stop me in my hour of victory?" Rossi asked
"Forgive me, milord" said Venjix "but allow me to rush ahead and take of the Machine. We can't detect her and she can't detect us due to us jamming wireless signals, but she still has control of the Remnant's computers until I get there and physically plug in"
"You bring up a valid point" said Rossi "now hurry ahead, we won't be far behind"
"RPM, GET IN GEAR!" said Venjix "RANGER OPERATOR SERIES BLACK, 5!" and he used his super speed to race to the Dome and quickly arrives. He enters the Dome and sees what looks like a small car.
"Greetings, Machine" said Venjix
"Hello, General" said the Machine
At Rossi's army, they are nearing the Dome
"Sir" said Dark Specter to Rossi "the Rangers look like they're moving to strike us from behind"
"Strange" said Rossi "I thought they would have rushed back to the Remnant. Perhaps they don't care about the Remnant like I always thought they did, perhaps they just like the thrill of the fight. But it doesn't matter, we'll reach the Remnant before they reach us, and besides, I have an old friend waiting for them"
In the Dome, Venjix and the Machine continue their conversation
"This is the end for you and your friends" said Venjix "Rossi will kill them and I will destroy you"
"You we're alway so sure of yourself, Venjix" said the Machine "and that will be your downfall"
"Why not be sure?" Venjix asked "Watch, Rossi's troops have already reached the edge of the Dome"
"Yes, Venjix, watch" said the Machine and they watch as the frontline of Rossi's troops take the first step in the Dome, led by Maligore. The entire front line are all instantly vaporized as the Dome came back on
"What?!" Venjix asked
"When the earthquake occurred" said the Machine "I turned off the Dome, making it appear that the Dome was no longer operational. I just turned it back on, killing some of Rossi's troops and trapping them between the Dome and the rest of the remaining Megazords"
"It doesn't matter" said Venjix "the Rangers are all gone, all that's left to defend the civilians is you"
"Perhaps you should check the security cameras" said the Machine "go ahead, I won't try to stop you" and Venjix checks them
"No, no, NO!" said Venjix "where did they all go?!"
"They escaped in the Delta Command Crawler, right under your nose" said the Machine "you see we knew you would be a wildcard, one no one knew how to plan for, so we had to take you out of the fight"
"Who do you think you are?!" Venjix screamed "WHO DO YOU THINK YOU ARE?!"
"I'm the ram in the thicket" said the Machine
