Okay, time for another change of views! Let's find out the actual story behind Lulu and her 'secret'!

The bell had rung and every student had gotten out of school today just as everybody was heading out, save for Gerald and Phoebe, who had not only agreed to deliver Arnold's homework for him, BUT... they were also on another mission. Outside, they waited patiently... and waited... and waited... until at last, Lila had walked out of the school, backpack in hand.

"Sorry I'm late. Rhonda wouldn't let me leave without giving her an opinion on something." Lila sighed. "You know her, just ever so concerned about a new dress to impress."

Gerald and Phoebe nodded as the two walked with Lila, Phoebe saying, "It's okay, we at least got you where we want you. We just want to ask you a few questions about your father and all."

"Oh, well, what do you want to know?" Lila cocked her head curiously.

"Well... it's not really about your father, it's more about... your other family. Your mom and your sister. What does your mother usually do?" Phoebe asked.

Lila paused as she cocked her head curiously. "Uh, well... the only time I ever see her is when she visits with my sister, so... not a whole lot. But I do know she always looks at me ever so kindly and wishes I could live with her like Lulu does."

"Hmmm..." Gerald narrowed his eyes and frowned. "But what's her job, what does it entail?"

"All I know about her was that she was a grocer. Even when I ask dad, that's the story he gave. He just seemed ever so nervous." Lila frowned as Gerald and Phoebe looked at each other.

"I don't think she knows anything about what's going on." Gerald whispered.

"Agreed. Lila's dad is hiding something, but he's obviously keeping it from Lila... and from the way she describes her mom... it seems like she never GOES to where SHE lives." Phoebe frowned.

"Only one way to know for sure." Gerald whispered back as he turned back to Lila. "Say, Lila, do the words 'Versity Co.' mean anything to you?"

Lila paused. "I know Verisity was my mother's maiden name. I don't know if it is now. I'm not sure about the 'Co.' part of it though."

Phoebe and Gerald glanced at each other as they looked a little... wary about this.

Pretty soon, the three arrived at the Sawyer apartment as Lila knocked on the door. A few moments later, a grinning Mr. Sawyer peeked out and smiled, "Ah, Lila, welcome back! I see you brought friends."

"Hello, Daddy." Lila smiled as she walked in. "Is Lulu here?"

Mr. Sawyer paused as he shook his head. "I haven't seen her since last night. But she gave me a call and said she was at the library with a friend."

"Oh, how ever so wonderful, she's making friends out in my town!" Lila smiled. "I just hope they stick more this time..."

That particular sentence grabbed Phoebe and Gerald's attention as they looked at each other in concern. Mr. Sawyer smiled as he rubbed his little girl's head. "We can only hope..."

"Uh, excuse me, Mr. Sawyer. I was wondering if we can ask you a few questions..." Phoebe started to say.

"Ask away, ask away..." Mr. Sawyer smiled, his good mood still lifting his spirits.

"Well, we were wondering, what you knew about Verisity Co.?" Phoebe started.

Upon hearing those two words, just as Mr. Sawyer reached for the coffee... his eyes widened in shock as everything came to a stand still. Silence filled the room as the man's expression changed from a cheerful lad to a horrified, traumatized man.

"Uh... Daddy, are you okay?" Lila asked in confusion.

"I-I'm fine, pumpkin, just... could you go to your room for a while? I want to talk to these two... alone." Mr. Sawyer said, his voice turning a bit monotone.

Lila looked a little concerned, having never seen her dad react like this before, but gave a nod as she said, "Okay..."

"I'll let you know when it's safe to come out. Whatever you do, Lila, don't listen in, please. You're much too young to know..." Mr. Sawyer said in a regretful tone of voice.

Lila paused, but nodded as she walked into the room and shut the door, Gerald and Phoebe watching the whole time as if worried they said something wrong.

"Come here."

Gerald and Phoebe jumped as they turned to see the man, who wasn't angry, but was more... furious, yet upset. The two kids looked at each other as they came over and sat down. Mr. Sawyer looked at the two for a long time as he sighed, "So... I take it you heard about... that company."

"Y-yes, sir." Phoebe nodded. "I'm Kyo and Reba's daughter, they told me about... that place."

Mr. Sawyer calmed down a bit as he shook his head. "I never thought I'd have to hear tales of that horrible company again, something that I never wanted to relive in my life..."

"Why?" Gerald asked in curiosity.

Mr. Sawyer paused as he looked back at Gerald and Phoebe with regret. "While Lila and Lulu are my kids... they were kids originally designed to be... heirs. Heirs to a top secret company that... that wasn't an official company, but an illegal ring of... growing prostitutes. Male prostitutes that were once innocent little kids, taken away from their friends and families, all because we couldn't resist... one girl..."

Gerald and Phoebe looked surprised as Phoebe asked, "You aren't saying..."

Mr. Sawyer sighed as he looked down. "Maybe it's best if I start from the beginning... a long time ago, when I was your age, I was taking care of my farm in my old hometown, all fun, all carefree, nothing like any other..."

"It was all the rage of the days of yore... the corn planted alongside, the harvests, the family get-togethers... it was all a good time..."

A young Mr. Sawyer was walking along the cornfields as he seemed to be holding a basket of corn, collecting it for his family.

"...until the day I fell in love. Or rather, what I thought was love."

The young Henry exited out of the corn cob patch as he was about to leave, when something caught his eye as he nearly dropped the basket. With one foot stuck in a hole, struggling to get out was a muttering red haired little girl in a blue dress and braids, trying her best to pull her foot out, grunting and groaning. The boy put the corn aside as he approached the girl, tapping her shoulder as she looked over.

"When our eyes met, it was like... fireworks had exploded, circumstance just happened to meet at the right point."

The boy offered a hand in pulling her foot out as the girl nodded. Henry bent down as he gently put his hand inside the hole to get underneath the boot, and slowly, but surely, he pulled the foot out successfully... but not before she intentionally waved the foot, exposing part of her panties by accident, making the boy blush as he turned his head. Noting Henry's blushing face, the girl put on a big smirk, an idea forming in her mind.

'She introduced herself as Serena Verisity, and we've been... I guess you could say we were an item since. It wasn't friendship, it was just... an item..."

Serena offered her hand as the boy looked over at it as she smiled.

"It started innocent enough, with the walks on the farm and that... but then, she started to do things that would be immoral for a little girl like her..."

Out on the fields, both Henry and Serena were laying down in front of the stars as Henry was pointing up to the sky, trying to make the constellations. But Serena seemed like she was paying less attention to him and more over to pulling down her skirt, revealing her panties. Of course, Henry noticed and yelped as he tried to look away, but Serena pulled his head back to her as she gave a grin. She then gave the boy a kiss as Henry looked surprised... before closing his eyes being lost in the kiss.

"...and whatever immoral thing she was doing, I was supporting it, literally following along... little realizing I was falling directly into her trap."

"The next thing I knew, my behavior started to change and it was all thanks to Serena. I never arrived in time for chores, I skipped school... heck, I even secretly did immoral things to Serena in my house when nobody was looking..."

Inside the Sawyer household, an old lady was looking at Henry's mother, wondering where her son was as her mother shrugged. Little did they realize was that in the next room, both Henry and Serena were covered in a blanket on the bed, making out immensely.

"It became so bad, SO BAD, that I started picking fights with my parents and grandparents, telling them they didn't have any control over me."

It was a few nights later when, at the kitchen table, Henry was showing the finger to his parents, who looked horrified as the old lady was yelling at the young boy.

"But... again... I was falling right for her trap... when I heard that my parents and grandparents planned to send me away... I knew I had to run away... but to where?"

It was later that night in his room as Henry was sitting next to the door, pouting, as he was growling and grumbling to himself as he listened in, overhearing his concerned parents and grandparents talking. Henry's eyes widened in horror as he looked concerned... before pulling out what seemed to be a train ticket. His mind began to whirl with an idea...

In an early hour in the morning, Serena looked surprised to see Henry arriving at the train station, suitcase packed and ready as he tipped his hat. Serena gave a grin as she motioned to the boy to come close. He followed the girl inside the train, showed the tickets and followed Serena outside before shutting the door. Moans and groans were instantly heard in the compartment they were staying in, but nobody paid it any mind.

"Well, I took up Serena's offer to come live with her, since she lived pretty far away... in Kentucky. I was at first reluctant, but after hearing that my parents were going to send me away to fix whatever problem I had... I followed her. Followed her right to Kentucky, where we met her mother... and it was there... that we got hitched..."

Up at an altar in Kentucky, the young boy in a tuxedo and the young girl wearing a wedding dress looked at each other quite lovingly as they shared their first kiss in marriage, all being watched by a smirking, sinister looking woman who crossed her legs with a grin on her face.

"Little did I realize at the time was that Serena was already married... to many men in her life... and the married men she married were sent to work... not just as farmers... but as prostitutes and much more..."

A cracking whip was heard as a few boys were groaning, milking cows and filling hay, with a few other men being selected by interested females to be taken away. And in the center of it all was Henry Sawyer, who was currently sitting in a cushion marked 'Next to breed'. He was about a few years older, but seemed to be wise as he looked around, his mind not completely broken unlike the other boys that were around.

"At first, I thought this was heaven... but my mind wandered back to my family, wondering if I made a huge mistake. I guess that's what snapped me out of the trance, wondering about my parents and why they weren't looking for me... or any of the men here. Then, when I looked at all the men around and learned about the true story... I didn't want it to be true, and yet... I followed her anyway. Serena had a secret technique, she was at the age where she was able to bear children. She obviously wanted little girls to raise, and that was her true goal. She recently gave birth to a boy by... someone else..."

Henry watched as the door opened to see an angry Serena punting a young Kyo Heyerdahl back in the area as she crossed her arms.

"Goodness knows what she does to the boys she births. I'm assuming they... well... I don't want to say it. Anyway, it was my time to do the deed."

Serena looked around and grinned as she motioned over to Henry. Henry hesitated at first, but willingly walked over as she put her hand down his pants and felt him, making some twisted contortions with her face... then, with a smile, she pulled him in happily as another deed had been done.

"Eventually, I was pulled back into work in the farm... and there I met your mother, Phoebe."

A few months later, after the deed was done, Henry was filling in haystacks when he noted the strange girl trying to shyly talk to Kyo, to little success. Seeing a glimmer of hope, he quickly went over to the girl and explained everything.

"I told her all I could, everything from start to finish, and why I was the only one not in the trance. Reba wanted to go to the police, but I already told her that Serena was pregnant with my kids, and I wanted her to wait until the birthing process was done. Because I always wanted to figure out what they were going to do to the boys. That's when she and I arranged a plan."

Reba gasped in horror upon Henry's explanation and was about to get up before Henry shushed her and told her more. Reba listened in closely and gave a nod.

"After a couple of months... the birth came..."

Inside a little hospital room, Serena was laying down at her bed, shutting her eyes as Henry was standing by her side, the doctors helping out with the birth as the first child popped out. Henry grinned happily as Serena held the baby and smiled, seeing that her first child was a girl... but then another constriction happened as the second baby popped out. Again, another girl as another doctor was looking at the first two babies. Finally, the last child popped out as the doctor held the last child up.

"Indeed, two girls... and one boy."

Phoebe gasped as she and Gerald looked at each other. "So... you had triplets!"

Mr. Sawyer nodded sadly.

Serena immediately frowned as she stared at the crying baby boy.

"But the boy wasn't in her plans. Serena wanted girls to carry her legacy on... and a boy would just... cause a problem. So, she gave me a knife and pointed to the kid."

Henry gasped as Serena grabbed a knife and handed it over to Henry, whose eyes widened in horror. He looked over at the doctor, who had his back turned. He frowned as he stood up and tossed the knife aside, much to Serena's surprise.

"That's when I finally outed myself, how I finally stood up and exposed everything. And thanks to Reba's plan, the police had arrived in the hospital room!"

Before Serena could protest, the door was kicked down as police arrived at the scene, as Serena was looking around in confusion.

"The trial was held, and eventually, both Serena and her mother were taken away to jail, with the other boys getting all the brainwashing out of their systems... and me, to go back home... with three unexplained children."

In a courtroom in Kentucky, the mother and daughter duo were seen being dragged to a police car as Serena was looking disgruntled and the old woman yelling in rage. As everyone watched the police cars go off to lock the mother and daughter up, Henry could only sit by, looking down at the three young kids in the carriage.

A couple days later, Henry had arrived back in his old home as he saw his mother and grandmother, at first looking disappointed. The man looked down... before being embraced in surprise.

"I knew it would take a few days before my parents and grandparents could ever forgive me for running away... but they welcomed me back with open arms, and were determined to help me out with the three kids. And the days I had Lila, Lulu and Leo were probably the best..."

Henry smiled as he looked at his mother and grandmother, before pointing to his three kids as the two women doted over them.

"Wait... what happened to Leo?" Gerald asked in confusion. "We only saw Lila and Lulu, but what about Leo?"

Henry looked down sadly. "Unfortunately, Leo got born with a condition, which we couldn't really take care of because things were too busy at the time. We didn't realize it until it was too late... Leo died at six months old..."

Gerald and Phoebe looked at each other in horror as Phoebe gasped, "Oh my..."

Henry nodded in sadness.

Henry, his mother and grandmother were looking over the grave of Henry's youngest son as each of his figures were holding both the young Lila and Lulu close to them. Henry put a hand to the grave, a tear in his eye.

"It was probably the day that hurt in my life. Sometimes, I wish that Leo was still here, growing up with the other two. And I thought I would be able to keep the other two... but then that all changed on Lila and Lulu's tenth month when... SHE came back..."

Henry was taking care of his two girls with pride and joy on the couch when he heard a knock on the door. He settled down his two kids before walking over and answering. His eyes narrowed immediately when he noted a regretful, yet smiling Serena was at his doorstep. He was about to slam the door in her face, when she put her foot in between it as she tried to explain everything.

"She came over to apologize for everything she done to me, including taking me away from my home. She seemed genuine enough, but I still had my doubts."

After explaining everything to Henry with a smile, the man crossed his arms and stared at him sternly. She looked down in disappointment as she gave a nod, talking to him again.

"She told me that she was being controlled by her mother and that she was the one who should go to jail, not her. Again, I still had my doubts. But then she told me that she was trying to change her ways, reforming to a new woman, and just wanted forgiveness for everything she ever did to me. She said she did the same for the other boys. And... well..."

Henry looked over at the woman, arms still crossed, but having a little sympathy for her.

"I decided to forgive her, but on one condition. To never intentionally harm me or my family ever again! She agreed to the terms, but only if I agreed with another."

Henry talked to Serena about his offer as she thought about it. Then, with a smile, she nodded as she asked a question, causing the boy to be stunned.

"That was if she could agree to make a split on my kids. I told her already that Leo was dead... but she said she only wanted one girl. To prove that she can be a better mother and care for her. She promised me she wouldn't do anything to hurt my family, and she said it was keeping true to her word."

Henry took some time to think about this as he looked over to see Lila and Lulu sleeping on the couch. Henry sighed as he looked over at a pleading Serena's face.

"But would it be worth it, giving one kid away? I struggled with this decision and... eventually, I made her promise that she and the child come visit me and the other kid whenever necessary. She agreed to the deal. And thus, she took Lulu, and I kept Lila."

Immediately, Serena swept the little Lulu in her arms as she was looking at the little girl and held her close. Henry sat down as he held Lila, soothing her and relaxing her to sleep.

"Mother and grandmother told me that I was making a mistake with this, but I couldn't just leave Serena out in the cold, not wanting the two to at least not know their mom. It was a fair compromise. And though we may not be actually married for real, I'll always remember the good times..."

Back in the present, Mr. Sawyer gave a sigh as he finished up his story and drank some more coffee as Gerald and Phoebe looked over at each other, having thoughts about the story.

"Well, I hope that answers your questions." Mr. Sawyer said as he looked down. "I'm sorry I had to send Lila over to her room, but I didn't want to risk her not being ready for this sort of thing."

"I can understand why..." Gerald said. "So, Verisity Co. used to be a place for... giving away male prostitutes?"

Mr. Sawyer said. "Both Serena's mother's AND Serena's men, myself included in the rabble. But the company is in ruins now. Serena's on the verge of redemption, and she's taking care of Lulu just fine."

"Do you think Serena just told you all that just so she can start the company up again?" Phoebe asked.

"I don't think so. At least..." Mr. Sawyer paused as he looked concerned. "I haven't heard... anything about it..."

That didn't make Gerald and Phoebe feel any better, but they were able to learn something about what Verisity Co. was.

I hope you got a good chunk of information, because that's where the chapter ends! What'll happen with Lila? What about Arnold and Lulu? Is Arnold doomed into going the same fate as all the other men? Tune in next time!
