Hey everyone. It's been a while since I've been around her huh. I'm gonna be honest with y'all I've been burnt out for what seems like years just doing school stuff and almost forgot about this before a friend of mine brought it up to me and I began to read fanfiction again because it was some self indulgence to calm my nerves for my AP tests and the such (done with those by the way fist pump) and I'm actually gonna be heading off to college by the end of the year.

I decided to read the comments, fully expecting my self-esteem to drop because this story was rough especially in the beginning and slowly smoothed out into a coherent thing I like to think. Imagine my surprise when a bunch of people were actually liking this thing and asking for more, it brought a bigger smile to my face than I thought it would even while reading the negative comments.

This whole sappy thing here is to just say the reasons why I'm a bit scared to pick this up again. When I first wrote this like 2 years ago I made the extremely bold claim I wouldn't let this die cause younger me couldn't have foreseen the shit show that would be the world happening so soon, and now looking at all these people asking me to continue makes me feel like I won't be able to, live up to the hype I guess of what the story should be.

Then I began reading some other fics on my seldom down time, and I don't know what it is, but it looked like all the ones I was enjoying were people who were doing this for fun and posting it because it was something they want others to enjoy with them.

I started to make this cause it sounded like fun, and honestly looking back on how excited I was making the chapters because it was something I did myself and thought it was fun, and other people enjoying it as well. I still want to improve, I even have another story I want to make along with this one because I like the idea of it, and I hope that some people will like it too, but I am going to remember the reason I did this in the first place.

This is a lot less silly than I normally am because I want to take the time to sincerely thank all of the nice comments people have left, and especially thank the people giving me ideas on how to improve, I should probably look into getting a beta reader soon. I'm still doing college prep stuff, so y'all will have to regretfully hold out for a little longer before an actual chapter comes out. I may have to look over the wiki and/or scrounge my documents for my old storyboard to regain my bearings and remember the direction this was going in, maybe I'll get the first chapter of that other story out in the meanwhile.

However, if I can do one thing it's to hold a promise and I present to you, the Izuku vs Naruto fight: Through the eyes of Inko.

Inko Midoriya was on the edge of her seat. She was holding green and orange pom poms as she was glued to the TV. Her two sons were doing exceptionally well, she couldn't contain her pride when they began to place first in the events, knowing how hard they've been working to get to where they are now. She has cried no less than 15 times before they got to a point where they would fight each other.

There was no way in hell she would be able to cheer for one over the other so she was frantically shaking her orange and green pom poms as her sons made their way to the arena. She was worried of course of how much they would be hurting each other, but she has seen them spar before and was positive as a mother they wouldn't go overboard. Especially with the faculty there to stop them if things did get out of hand.

When the ahem mature looking teacher brought her whip down, she watched as her boys powered up and ran at each other.

"AND WE ARE OFF! THE FINAL FIGHT OF THE TOURNAMENT AND BOY IS IT GONNA BE A GOOD ONE. THESE TWO BROTHERS HAVE BEEN ABSOLUTE POWERHOUSES FOR THROUGHOUT THIS FESTIVAL AND THIS BOUGHT IS SURE TO BE A SPECTACLE!"

Inko winced at each blow the brothers threw at each other, seeing some bruises being formed on them.

She pouted when she continued watching, "You guys may be fighting but Naruto I'm gonna have words with you for tripping your brother like that," her eyes widened when she saw the massive blow Naruto sent to Izuku that sent him flying and jumped up, "MY BABY!, oh, oh goodness he's getting up" she put a hand over her heart and sat back down.

She hitched her breath when Izuku began to fire; air bullets? She didn't know he could do that. The green mom was proud of her son's ingenuity, and quickly waited with baited breath as she saw Naruto close the distance in almost an instant.

Izuku began to do the classic flip he learned when he was younger, but she has seen them spar countless times and Naruto managed to counter it, knocking him down. Her eyes widened to the size of dinner plates and she jumped up to her feet and leaned even closer to the TV when she saw Naruto punch his brother in the gut, hard.

"OH MY GOD DID MY LITTLE GREEN ANGEL PUKE UP BLOOD! WAIT NO DON'T DO IT AGAIN, IS THE GROUND CRACKING I DON'T THINK I CAN HANDLE THIS!"

She put a hand to her head and fell to the ground, but let out a small sigh of relief when she saw Izuku catch the stomp that was about to hurt him, that definitely would've put her over the edg- WAIT WAS HER GREEN ANGEL DOING!

She clambered up inches to the screen again, "I KNOW IT'S A FIGHT BUT THAT'S YOUR BROTHER! DON'T DO IT AGAIN, ARE YOU REALLY GOING TO DO IT A THIRD TIME! HOW MUCH BLOOD HAS HE COUGHED UP ALREADY!"

She laid down with her back on the table when she saw Naruto catch Izuku's foot this time, stopping himself from getting more hurt.

When the blond teen began to get up, Inko's relief turned to worry.

'Oh no, that's three tails. He looks, feral, he should be able to handle it though right? Please don't get lost Naruto'

Inko got even more worried when she saw the green lightning around Izuku grow, and he looked like he was putting himself under an extreme amount of pain as he prepared to take on his brother again.

Inko could barely keep up with what was going on. Her eyes frantically looking at every corner of the screen like some sort of sped up tennis match. She saw red and green blurs around the arena, the ground jutting out and craters being formed. Her only moment of reprieve was when they stood still for a couple seconds, looking as if they were storing up energy before rushing at each other and landing devastating blows against each other.

If it weren't for the tears already in Inko's eyes the massive amount of dust created was hiding the fate of her sons. She saw them on either ends of the arena, not a ring out but they were clearly out for the count. She wiped the tears from her eyes and let out the largest breath she ever had to calm her nerves. Inko was proud of her boys for making it so far, but they know how to make her worry.

She went to turn off the TV, but got confused when they both began to get back up. Her heart started beating immensely when she heard the officiating begin to speak as she raised her whip, "THE FIGHT ISN'T OVER EVERYBODY! THESE TENACIOUS TEENS ARE GONNA KEEP GOING!"

The tears began to make the way to her face again when she saw how badly wounded her sons were. Even Naruto didn't look like he had the strength to activate his healing factor, and was bruised all over. She had to put her hand over her mouth seeing how awful Izuku's arm looked, it just hung limply by his side.

Inko could only cry as she saw her children brutally just punch each other, both of them looking like death. When she saw Naruto send that stomp to his brother's gut and Izuku fell unconscious she could only let out a torrent of tears before falling on the floor and passing out herself, barely hearing Naruto be announced the winner.

When she saw those boys again she was gonna let them know how proud she was, but also make sure they never do something so stupid again.

There we go, nothing to fuel the fire like writing the ever lovable worrywart mom. Once again a big thank you to everyone who has left a supportive comment and became so invested in this story. Like hot damn 1.4K followers, I can't fathom how that many people actually read this story and actually wanted more. Stay safe out there, and I hope you beautiful sons of guns have a great day.
