AN: It's.. Been awhile. So first off, Life kinda decided to happen. In a good way, New job, new house and... I'm a dad now! Its strange, I never saw anything like that ever coming my way. She's a cute little thing, looks just like a little me which is mildly bad since I'm Not a feminine looking guy.. Poor poor baby girl. Secondly, The name change. I.. I was in a different place than I was 5ish years ago, legit thought I was losing my shit for a bit Sooo the new name is one I enjoy quite a bit more, old nickname from school I altered to fit as an Author name. Anyways! I am back and while I cannot promise consistent updates, know that I am alive and well. Gonna shoot for at least an update once every two weeks to a month but again, no promises. Maybe do shorter chapters to help with that, then again, I'll leave that up to you, the reader. I know a good chunk of you guys like larger chapters and vice versa so if anything, let me know in the reviews or DM me. Also, please feel free to send advice or constructive criticism my way, I am not a professional and it never hurts to constantly strive to improve. Especially writing, since language is such a constant thing we all use to communicate to our fellow man. Anyways, Back to the story! Finally, its only been... A year or three... Oops.

Chapter One: A Journey Began From Darkness

Emily's POV:

You know, I never really gave much thought to what comes after we kick the bucket. Is there anything? A paradise? Nothing at all or something far beyond mortal comprehension? To answer my previous question, read, absolutely fucking nothing; or at least, sorta falling endlessly into the dark abyss with zero reference of time or if I am even awake (or alive for that matter). The one solace I have is that I saved Rose from this... At least I hope I did, I made a dark portal, for all I know I could have killed her on accident. Just... Let's not think of that, how long have I even been here anyways? Has it been hours, days or even years? Or only just a few seconds at most? God, this is so boring, something needs to change or I am gonna lose my mind here. Since I have time, I may as well take stock of myself, and.. Fuck, I am a mess. I know my sword arm is dislocated at the shoulder, I think my ribs might be broke on the left, and my left leg feels to be more bruise than actual flesh. My brother did one hell of a number on me, when I find him I'll...

"What is that?" I asked, to really no one in particular. The "that" is question was a very dim, and ominous looking if I may add, purple light that seemed to be... Pulling in the dark? Oh no, wait, it's not the dark it is pulling into itself; it is pulling...

"Ah sh-"

Unknown POV, Unknown location:

With one final yell, I slashed the Heartless across the heart-shaped hole in its chest, making it scream as it stumbled back; holding the wound that seeped darkness in clear pain before it collapsed onto the floor.

"Gwarsh, I think we finally did it!" My long time friend, Goofy, said with relief evident in his voice. And I don't blame him, that fight was not easy in the slightest. With a sigh, I let myself slump onto the floor of the ballroom, all while looking at the Heartless we had just slain... That is until it rose up and compressed into a ball of darkness once more.

"Goofy!" Donald, my other long time friend, screamed at him. We all got back into our combat stance waiting for the Heartless to reform, only for it shoot some Darkness off to the floor before finally disappearing, releasing a heart as it did so. The remaining Darkness formed a circle on the slightly battle-scarred floor as myself, Donald, and Goofy slowly approached.

"What is that? Another Heartless?"

"Gee Donald, I don't quite know what that is" Goofy said in response, as finally, something happened.

"Get ready guys!" I called out as It bubbled as I began to hear... Yelling? "Uh, are you guys yelling?"

"Nuh-uh, at least I'm not Sora; did you say something Donald?"

"Wak! No! Is it.. Getting louder?" He asked, and as a group, we took a step back because the yelling was, in fact, getting louder.

"-iiiiTTTTT" a.. Person? Screamed as he flew out the dark pit into the air before harshly impacting the ground a fair distance away from us and the Darkness; Said Darkness now fading into nothingness, leaving zero trace of it ever being there aside from the person laying on the ground a good distance away. Whoever it was looked like a bloody mess, their right arm looked like it was pulled completely from the socket; long black hair matted with dirt, and plethora of cuts along their arms and legs.

"Is it a Heartless?"

"Hmmm... It looks like a person to me Donald!" Goofy called out as he lowered his shield. Then the mysterious stranger started to get up, very slowly sitting up against one of the many nearby pillars of the ballroom which let us all get a better view of him.. Well, her actually. A young face framed with midnight black hair going well past her shoulders; a brown duster stained with blood and ripped badly towards its bottom. And a set of black boots that were only a bit scuffed, at least compared to the rest of her. Then she spoke, a tired, low pitch feminine voice.

"I think... I have enough in the tank... HEAL!" Then, in a bright green burst of light cast from the top of a weapon that was here and gone before I could see it; she recovered, and even her clothes mended back to perfect shape, though she still looked exhausted, even more so than before...

Emily's point of view:

Damn, that was rough, never burned that much mana in a single spell before, must have been Very messed up, worse than I thought I was at least. On the bright side, I think I can see again since my eyes adjusted to, well seeing, again. Going from pitch black to bright light sucks more than one thinks it would. And... I'm in what looks like a ballroom? Huh. Maybe I did kick the bucket. With a quiet sigh, I pulled myself to my feet and stretched, my back popping pleasantly in the process.

"Uh.. Are you okay?" A voice asked me, which sounded like that of a younger boy.

"Aside from getting tossed like a salad. I'm grea-" I began to respond before freezing and summoning my blade in a flash of Darkness, rapidly turning to face the speak- oh and he has friends. Great.

"Wa! I knew she was a Heartless!" The duck said.. The duck? Yeah that's a duck holding a staff, I think I'm concussed. Wait, Heartless? Me? Oh, hell no.

"Feathers, I've had a Very long day and would very much like if you didn't call me a dark abomination hellbent on the consumption of all living things." I growled out as I threateningly held my blade towards.. Imma assume that its a him.

"Uh-oh! I think we should all just calm down" That... Is that a dog? Big dog. Anyways, yeah he said that. And I am bloody calm! Or.. Okay, I could stand to calm down a bit. So with a deep breath, I dispelled my blade.

"I'm gonna assume I am not dead since I'm sore as all Get out, where in the hell am I? And I better get answers or I'm gonna get mad and I get stabby when I'm mad damn it!" I threatened, which looked like it was gonna work. Then the ballroom doors damn near flew off the hinges, and... Yeah that's definitely not a friendly creature. Oh look, its snarling at me. I feel that this is going to suck massively.

"GET OUT OF MY HOME!" It howled out in rage, making a direct beeline for me, claws held at the ready; all while the boy tried to get it to calm down or just stop in general

"Beast! No!" Huh. Its name is Beast. Fitting as he looks about ready to utterly and completely destroy me. With a quiet sigh, I stood straight and summoned my blade, my arms shaking lightly from either fear or adrenaline; to be honest, I can't even tell. With a roar and a leap, Beast cleared the remaining gap between us of at least 20 feet, forcing me to roll to the side, my blade catching the light as it flashed towards him, only to be block by a round shield.

"Oh great, 4 on 1 then, gotta love these odds" I grumbled out as I brought my blade to my legs. If I am gonna survive This low on mana and this exhausted, I need to go full tilt. And with a clean slice, the weights along with the bottom of my pant legs fell to the ground. They looked confused for only second, until confusion was replaced with determination as I Flew at them; my blade dragging at the floor in a shower of sparks only to thrown to the wayside by a gust of wind, courtesy of the staff wielding duck. So a Spell-caster, a knight, a Beast and a boy with an unknown weapon(s)... I am so very boned right now. With a shout that is a mix of anger and maybe a bit of panic, I drew upon the last dregs of my mana to cast my one, good offensive spell

"THUNDER!" I cried out, and well, it's actually Thundaga but it is still the same deal, just more... Beefy. Time seemed to slow as a bolt appeared over all of them, and damn it did absolutely nothing. The duck countered with a Reflect, the knight merely blocked it, the Beast tanked it and the boy.. Hit it with a key?..

'Oh. Oh I am so fucked. Of all the opponents to get, I get a fucking Keyblade wielder!' I thought to myself as I promptly decided to bail right the Heck out of dodge, only for a wall of light to block the exits.

"Nowhere to run!" Duck boy called out with a smirk on his...bill. Still ain't used to that. Still, he had a point, I am trapped with no mana, beyond exhausted, in a 4 on 1 fight. Fuck it, imma take one with me. May as well go for Key boy. With a sigh and a flick of my blade, I charged the group intent on landing as many strikes as I can before falling to my exhaustion. I crossed my blade with the staff of the duck, only to immediately back off to avoid Beast's claws from rending me in two as I watched in morbid fascination as they carved through the floor like it wasn't there at all. Then things went from bad to worse for me when Key boy raked his blade from my shoulders to lower back, setting my body in a blaze of pain and my very heart and soul screaming in protest, as finally, I went down. I tried to get up but my body refused to listen, and vision faded from me as unconsciousness claimed me in its cold grasp.

Later...

I stirred under my blankets, feeling the numerous bandages tug against my skin on my torso.

"Dad, I can fix myself, no need to play doctor" I grumbled as I slowly, but eventually, sat up to take in my room. This... Is not my room. This is wayy too gothic to even be my house. Actually... Is this my house? I can't.. Huh. Drawing blank. That can't be good. I need to get up and out, find out where I am, and if I am in danger or not. With a low wheeze, and maybe a tear or two, I forced my broken body to Move. I limped slowly to the frankly huge door, a dark blade with intricate marking leaning next to it.

'is.. That mine? Fuck it, mine now. Though I feel bad, gonna use this as a cane for now' I thought to myself as I grabbed the blade and used it to help me walk, a bit grateful it was sheathed, even if it didn't look like it belonged to the blade itself. With my new cane in tow, I basically leaned on the door to open it, not trusting that I can physically do so with just my arms. Leaving the room I looked down the hall, only able to go left unless I can fly out the window from Very high up, which I am very sure I can not do. Hmm... Work on that, flight sounds awesome.

'ugh.. Flight idea later, help or escape now. Hey... I hear something.. Voices?'

"She is a threat! I want her out of my home!"

"Gwarsh, I think she was just scared. She didn't attack until you did beast!"

"Well... Goofy's not wrong..." God my head hurts... They sound familiar. I feel like I'm forgetting something... My Meds! I forgot to take them! No wonder I feel so.. Foggy. Last time I forgot, everything that made me, well, me; slowly fell away. The Darkness, once left unchecked, literally began to consume my very mind and soul. I can't believe I let it go like that.

'Medicine time for me.' I thought grimly as I grabbed a vial from my hip pocket and downed the bitter concoction, the haze over my mind clearing once it was all down. I'm probably going to need more soon, only have a few days of doses, at most, left. Nonetheless, now that I can actually remember where I am, I am sorta stuck with two choices. Option A.) Is to go and face the 4 people who beat me into the ground for some answers, which probably isn't wise. Option B.) Is to get the hell out of dodge and find a way out, but with my current shape and well, lack of funds or knowledge; that's honestly just a bad an idea as the first one. Ah screw it, bad idea 1 it is.

'Out of the pan and into the fire as they say' I thought as I limped down the rest of the hall, ignoring the stairs on my right before coming up to another door to a room, the voices right on the other side. Now, what I Tried to do and what happened here are two different things. I Tried to lean against the door to both catch my breath and build the courage to open the damn thing to go in or at least knock. What Actually happened is the door opened on me the second I tried to lean, so I fell, essentially face first, onto floor of the door way with an audible Thump.

"Ow... Why me" I groaned as I sorta just laid on the ground, both too tired and embarrassed to get up.

"See! She isn't much of a threat Beast! Hy-luck! She's just sorta lost is all!" The dog man said as he pointed at my still prone form. God no one even helps a lady up, rude.

"I resent that statement dog breath. Yeah, you're not wrong on the lost bit, but I didn't train all my life to be made light of." I grumbled as I got up, giving them a glare before I continued "So.. Where am I, and why did big, brown, and furry here try to rip my face off?" I finished as I looked to the Beast, his expression one of barely contained rage and... regret? Or is that Sorrow?

"Well... He doesn't really like visitors, and it Is a bit of bad timing right now, see, the Heartless and Organization are running around causing problems lately" Sora told me, at least I think that is his name.

"I know what the Heartless are, they are kinda how I got here, in part at least; but who in the hell is the Organization? They don't sound like a particularly.. Friendly bunch of people."

"They're Nobodies! They tried to make Beast lose his temper! They wanted to make him a Heartless!" The.. Duck said. God why do I find the duck of all things so weird. Anyways, he seemed pretty adamant that this Organization is bad news. Which is fair, if They want to steal the hearts of anything, even what equates to a rage filled beast.

"Well, are there any identifying marks? A sigil or emblem or something?" I asked them. If they are gonna be a problem then I need to know who to keep an eye out for.

"Hmmm... Black cloaks! They all have em!" Goofy said, good to kn-

"Black cloaks?... Black Cloaks!? They destroyed my home! Stole the lives of thousands!" I all but screamed as I could feel the Dark Flare again, my vision dimming at the edges. Deep breaths Em.. Damn it.

"Are you... Okay?" Sora asked as he gently backed away, I don't blame him, someone oozing Darkness off of their body isn't exactly a friendly sight.

"I'-I'm fine. Just let my emotions run rampant, sorry about that. I don't think I have had the chance to introduce myself, have I?" I asked to a series of shaking heads in the negative "Well, my Name is Emily, Emily May Branwen. Please... Just call me Em Or Emily. I caught the names of you three, but who is Fluffy right there?"

"My name is Beast. And... I'm sorry for attacking you. It has been a difficult day. If you excuse me, I'm going to check on Belle" He said as he stalke- walked out. God damn that's a big boy. Wait Belle?

"Hy-uck Belle's his sweetheart!" And I guess my face showed the confusion. Wait Sweetheart!?

"No, she's not like him, Donald don't laugh! She's had a long day!"

"I.. That brings up more questions than answers Sora, like how. And also, HOW?!... Um.. Don't suppose any of you three have an Ether on you? I'm essentially completely tapped out and as a mage, that's not good." I asked, to receive one in a lazy toss from one very suspicious Donald.

"How do I know you won't attack us?"

"Well, aside from the fact that its a three on one and one of you uses a damn Keyblade so that would go badly for me; you three seem alright, and honestly? I could use a hand to figure out how to un-screw my situation. That answer your question, Donald?" I asked the Duck before continuing on, not waiting for his response "Also, have you guys seen a girl named rose about my age? Roughly 5'4", rainbow colored hair? We.. Got separated when my world fell. I have to find her, I have no idea were she could have ended up." I told them as I downed the potion, feeling my Mana fill back up rapidly and the exhaustion ebb away at the edges. It was still there just.. Muted.

"Sorry, I haven't seen any one like that, how about you? Donald? Goofy?" Sora asked his friends only to receive a shake of their heads. Damn, well it was worth a shot, and.. Why does sora look so.. Tense?

"I understand looking for your friends Emily, I'm looking for my friend Riku, a bit taller than me. Sliver hair?" He paused, before his brows furrowed in confusion "How do you know about the Keyblade?" Ah that would do it

"Sorry, I have not seen a Riku anywhere.. and as for that.. my.. someone I knew filled me in on a lot of the important stuff before shit went to hell." Deep breaths Em, it doesn't do anyone any good to break down yet. Maybe Dad made it off world too.. With a subtle sigh, I continued "do y'all have a way of getting about? Or at least dropping me off at a world where I can get my own way around? I have to find her, and while I look for her, I can keep an eye out for your friend Riku."

"Well.. Why not come with us?" Sora asked me, and well..

"No" it's not that don't like the guys, its Just... I need to find Rose. And I need to at least Try to save my brother. If I can't.. Well.. I Tried. That's what counts. And if he can't be saved.. Dad would understand.. I hope so at least.

"Oh.. Well, we can at least give you a ride to the next world we go to. If that's fine by you?" He amended, either oblivious or ignoring my melancholy.

"Fine by me, I'm ready to get going when you all are, gotta try to make ground; fix things and unscrew the other stuff ya know?" I wonder how they get around, maybe a plane or portals or something..

Outside the Castle..

We bid Beast and Belle a fair well, though I swear the furniture was moving at some point... Anyways! The Boys wouldn't tell me what the transport was but I assume it's awesome. I mean, interplanetary travel is cool on its own! And.. Oh you got to be kidding me.

"That... What.."

"I know! Its pretty cool, right! Meet the Gummi ship!" Said "ship" is a multi-color abomination of design that doesn't even look like it can get off the Ground, let alone fly between worlds. I mean, the Wings alone are super tiny, how does that even Steer in atmosphere?!

"I am not getting on that death trap, Sora." I told the boy frankly.

"It is not a death trap!" Donald squawked out, clearly offended.

"Donald, how does that even Steer in atmosphere? It has two tiny little wings. No flaps or even a rudder, so how?"

"Magiccc"...That's it, these boys are actually crazy. Magic is not stable for shit like this! Well, not unless it was done by a Master magician or it was one hell of a miracle of an enchantment. Or shit got Really advanced in a very small amount of time. Nonetheless, if these boys are utterly nutters, what does that make me, as I sigh in defeat and walk to my death? Guess I'm crazy too. Great.

"If I die, I'm haunting all of you. Welp, let's get this over with." Now they are looking at me funky, am I the only one who sees anything wrong with this?

"Oh come on you big baby, it's finee, I only crashed like twice" Sora said cheerly as he quite literally dragged me by my coat with Goofy's help towards the ship. May the gods save me from a painful death, at least make it clean. For fucks sake, I don't wanna do this!

"That is ENOUGH!" I yelled at them as I pulled away, unsettling them enough for them to summon their weapons. "I have a perfectly good set of legs to walk myself to death, touch me again and I swear to all that is divine i will stab you both... Are we clear?"

"Yeesh, take it easy. If you don't like touching, just say so. See you on the ship okay?"

"Okay Sora.. Sorry. I don't do touching very well. Not like that anyways." I told the boy truthfully, earning an apologetic look from him, and more or less a glare from duck boy. May as well see how this goes, maybe it won't be so bad?

Roughly five minutes later...

"WHAT DO YOU MEAN THE SHIP IS FLYING ITSELF?!" Yeah I'm basically screaming. But the second we got off world the ship changed course on its own and won't take any inputs so I'd say its justifiable. I just had to open my mouth didn't I?

"It's okay! I know where we are going! It says we're going to Hollow Bastion, and with how fast we're going, I think Merlin might have called us with his magic" Sora told me with a smile as what I could only assume was Hollow Bastion grew larger on the... Horizon? Is there even a horizon in space? Honestly probably not but I don't know a better descri- focus Emily! New world now, science and deep thought later. And we're already on the ground. I need to pay better attention I swear..

"Donald will lock the ship up behind us, we should make our way to Merlin's house and see what's going on. Are.. You going to join us Emily?" Sora asked as we made our way off the ship.

"Sorry, but I gotta look around and see if I can find my friend. And my own way of getting about. No offence but how you haven't crashed more than you have is astounding. If I'm gonna die, I'd prefer it not to be due to you crashing us." I told him, earning a slight wince from him and a devious chuckle from Donald. Honestly, if I didn't know better I would have said the small duck is the bad guy just off that laugh alone. With a wave and goodbye, I split off the group of 3 boys to end up in what looked like a shopping plaza for the town. Though they did have a few more... Adventurer based shops, judging from the giant signs. From weapons and armor to accessories and.. Potions! Maybe they can make more of my meds for me, or at least tell me what the hell and a half is inside it. Maybe I should have found out that part sooner though, seeing how I've been drinking it for essentially all my life. With a shrug, I walked up to the potion shop and rang the bell on the counter, and after a short delay; a little anthropomorphic duck dressed in a ball cap and a long sleeved turtle neck (all of it blue for some odd reason) came out from the back with a smile on his.. Bill? God this is all so weird for me.

"Hi! I'm Dewey! Well come to my shop! How can I help you today?" He asked me, prompting me to reach into my hip pocket to pull out a vial of my medicine and set it on the counter.

"Do you have any of this in stock? Or can you at least tell me what it's made of?"

"Hmmm.. Sorry no, I don't have this. And I can't tell ya what is in it. I just sell potions and other items, I'm sorry! But! There's a Moogle just up those stairs who could figure it out for you? He makes most the stuff I sell anyways!" Dewey told me, smiling all the while.

"Thank you little one, I appreciate you're honesty. Do.. You have any Ethers?" I asked him, earning a excited nod "I'll take three of them then, and two Potions if you have them." Wow.. That kid moves fast, they're already on the counter.

"That will be 200 please!" Oof.. Well. He was super nice..

"Here's 225 for the excellent service, thank you Dewey. I hope your business booms here" I told him as I pocketed my items and left to go to the moog.. Wow he's literally about 20 ft off, this really is the main shopping plaza with everything so close together. Nonetheless, the little creature floating with it's purple wings and that unmistakable big red ball on its head waved me down as I approached.

"Saw you need something looked at Kupo! Hand it over and I'll get right on it!"

"Don't I need to pay you?"

"Normally, but I've never seen a potion like that so you caught my interest Kupo!" That's... Both nice and probably bad. Moogles live a Lonngg time so for him to have never seen it.. Nope. Don't think on that. Maybe I should look around, see if anyone can point me in the direction of transportation. Or at least a lawyer to write my will because if I have to fly with that kid again I'm actually gonna die.

'Speaking of death, morbidly enough.. How am I alive? My world went kaput and I haven't seen anyone else from home yet. Granted the universe is infinitely massive so the odds of me meeting another survivor are low to say lightly. I hope everyone else made it, they may have been thunder cunts but no one deserves to die, well, unless they are truly evil but that's another animal.' I thought to myself, my feet following the path past the shopping district as I became more and more lost in my own head.

'I should, at some point here soon, see if I can't find Sora and his group. They know the world better than me, and as much as I hate to admit it, I need a hand instead of wandering... Aimlessly... Ah Shit I'm lost. I knew I shouldn't have explored but nooo, I just have to walk and think at the same time!' I thought to myself angerily as l turned around and tried to back track. Tried is the operative word here.

'This place is like a fucking maze! How does anyone find literally anything here? How could this get any wo- I really need to quit jinxing myself.' I can tell you how it gets worse. Heartless. A small horde of Darkness pulling themselves out of the ground itself.

'At Least it's the little ones.' I thought grimly as I summoned my blade, slowly backing away from the ever growing horde as I did. At least until I felt the cold stone of a wall at my back, which is both bad and good. Bad since I'm very much cornered, good since nothing can get behind me so way less chance of ambush. Welp, less thinking for me, more fighting to not die! With a small lunge, I planted Angel's Judgement right through the eye of one little shadow before ripping it out the side of it's head to block the razor-like claws of another, falling back to the wall as I did. Pushing away from my attacker, I raised my blade over my head

"Thunder!" I yelled as the spell took hold and came thundering (pun not intended but wholeheartedly welcomed) towards the battle, taking out a small handful of the Heartless in the process. Wow magic is effective, maybe bigger spells for the win?

'Here goes nothing!' I thought to myself as I gathered my mana for well, my best offensive spell.

"Thundaga!" Against well trained opposition, this did basically nothing. Against a crowd of little shadows?.. It was overkill. Everything that wasn't me exploded in a flash of lightning, and even then I may have slightly shocked myself if the copper taste in my mouth was anything to go by. I.. yeah that was a bit too much. At least I'm done fighting now, if only for a moment as I don't trust the quiet here. Seems kinda.. off. There's not even birds chirping or people in the background, everything just sounds.. empty

"Wow! That was great! Though I coulda beat em faster!" A high pitch voice of a girl called out from somewhere, making me damn near jump out of my skin.

"Who's there? Show yourself!" I yelled out as I held my Blade in front of me in a rough approximation of a high guard.

"Okay!" The Girl called out, before literally appearing next to me in a puff of smoke; which unfortunately resulted in me trying to stab her out of reflex. Fortunately, (or unfortunately, don't quite know yet); she blocked it with a frankly massive 4 pointed throwing star, the thing looked more like 4 giant swords strapped together than anything that could actually be thrown.

"Oooo! Someone is aggressive! Name's Yuffie! And you are in the very wrong part of town my angsty friend! Heartless and Nobodies are everywhere here!." The girl, now named Yuffie, told me as she let her weapon (if it could even be called that) fade in motes of light.

"Yeah.. I noticed that, haven't seen any Nobodies really but Heartless seem to be everywhere. You mind... Leading me back to the safer parts of the city? I'm a bit new around here and have gotten myself kinda lost" I told her truthfully, no point in holding her at arms length, especially seeing how I have no idea how to actually get back.

"Sure! Do you mind putting your sword away though?" Oh yeah. I still have it out. With a Curt nod, I dispelled my blade in a burst of Darkness, which unfortunately caused miss Yuffie to immediately go onto her guard. Ah shit. I really hope this doesn't lead to problems.

"Say... You wouldn't happen to have a reason why your weapon is so.. Dark" anddd immediate problems, I really need to quit tempting fate.

"Ah.. unfortunately, a bit of a dark heart here due to things I can't control. And no. That doesn't mean I wanna murder everything and become a god or something ridiculous like that. Just trying to find a way to travel and look for my family and friends." I told her truthfully, because let's face it, that shit? The 'I will rule the world(s)' is just too much damn work. And inherently wrong at a base level, because, you know... Morals. Nonetheless, I guess my explanation worked as Yuffie doesn't look ready to fight me now. Which is good because I really don't wanna even try to fight someone with that unorthodox of a weapon, I feel it would not go wel- and damn we're back in the residential part of town again. I really need to stop spacing out so hard.

"Anyywayys, follow me! I know some friends who might be able to lend a hand with the transportation side of things!" Yuffie said as she Bolted, outpacing even me on my best day without even breaking a sweat.

'I am so glad I didn't fight her, because oof she's fast' I thought a bit too thankfully as I hurried after her in an attempt to keep up. Attempt being the key word, because even with those abysmally heavy weights off, I didn't even get close to this Ninja-esque woman. Hell, even if I used some Magic to bolster my speed with something like Aero or the stronger versions; I don't think I would have kept up. Then again, this is foreign lands to me. She most likely knows this place like the back of her hand, so she probably has a lot of little shortcuts and the li-

'Fuck!' I screamed into my own thoughts as I narrowly avoided running head first into a wall at a full run. Even with the dodge, I still veered off into the side of a building with a Very audible Thump, at a decent enough speed to damn near knock myself out.

"That looked like it hurt! You okay?" Why is she so loud.. and so far away? God my head hurts..

"I'm fine.. just.. quiet down a bit?" I ground out to her as my ears began to ring. Eyup.. that's a concussion. I'm.. not gonna be able to fix that one myself. With a frankly pathetic whimper that was barely, and I do mean barely, held in; I stumbled to my feet, my head throbbing enough to make me wince a bit.

"You're hurt! I'll get Aerith! She fix you right up! AERITH! GET OUT HERE AND HELP ME WITH MY FRIEND! SHE'S HURT!" oww...

A/N: So I'm ending the chapter here. A.) because I want it out already, and B.) I think about 6.5k words is a decent enough length to feast your wonderful eyes upon. So news! (outside what was at the start of the chapter) Got a new PC. And a new Phone. So I can work on this When I have free time or just need to kill time wayyy easier now. Secondly, you probably noticed some spells in there that are not normally in KH2 (Aero. I'm looking at you), that's because I want to have more diversity to work with because let's be frank, the Magic in 2 was... well there wasn't much, we had, in order.

Fire

Blizzard

Thunder

Cure

Magnet

Reflect

Then the beefier versions. If any of you have played Final Fantasy or even Other KH games (Which I assume most of you have, if you're here anyways) You know that to be a rather... small list. So I wanna expand it a bit. Nothing super crazy. No meteors or flares or the like. But stuff like Aero, Esnua, Gravity, Stop, etc. are in (the extent of how strong or much is still question but know that if Em uses it; Donald more than likely will and better at that. He's the bloody Court Magician For a damn good reason.) Nonetheless, I'm back. I'm alive, and I wanna get deep into this writing business. See y'all in the next Chapter. Freakshow out!
