Prompts huh. How bout some villain steals Sanji and threatens to break him in half or something and zoro has to find a way to get him back without getting Sanji killed or getting captured.
Hmm... Let's see how this goes. XP
Sanji Kitetsu Chapter 29
Well shit.
Shit, shit, shit, SHIT.
Sanji watches in full panic as Carmen dashes out of the restaurant behind her captain, a marine officer, and a topless man with freckles who seems to know them both, leaving the cursed blade on the table completely forgotten. The rubber boy disappeared into the city in search of food as soon as they docked, and the cook tried to look for him by following the biggest ruckus she saw. She had to take Sanji with her because the stubborn ass moss head still refused to take him back, muttering something about unfinished training.
The training is finished for now though. Sanji taught her all she can learn for the time being. All that's left is practice until she's strong enough to learn more advanced moves. It's immensely helpful that she has a foundation in dance that gave her great leg strength and balance. The swordsman is just using it as an excuse.
The fact that she left Sanji on the table not surprising though. Carmen's not a swordswoman after all. She routinely forgets about Sanji in her kitchen, but since they were at sea, it'd only take her an hour or two to come back.
Carmen-Chwan~ The cursed blade whines, knowing full well that the redhead can't hear him. He wonders how long it would take for her to remember him with Luffy as a distraction. He wonders if she'd remember where she left him. He wonders if Zoro would harm her for losing his sword, or maybe Zoro was already planning on getting a new one anyway...
Sanji considers his options. He can roll off the table by himself, but that's about as far as he'd get. The moss head and his fellow swords are waiting at the outskirts of town. It's likely not within shouting range. He remembers stories about how humans who are attached, or "destined", as humans call it, can hear each other's whispered voices over long distances in times of crisis. It's not much of a hope, but doesn't hurt to try.
Kuina-chan... Yuki... He says, not much louder than a whisper. ... Zoro.
This is stupid. He's not attached to begin with, and even if the swordsman did hear it and for some incomprehensible reason did decide to come for him after pushing him away for so long, he'd only get lost on the way.
Though Sanji would appreciate the effort, or even just the thought.
Ta-chan, I see a stray named blade!
"Oh I see! Although I don't recognize the sheath..." Sanji hears a familiar voice answer and almost rolls off the table in glee. It takes him a second to realize that it's not Kuina.
Ta-chan, glasses! That's someone's leg! I'm talking about the one on that far corner table.
No, not Kuina. An older acquaintance, like almost 30 chapters old.
"Sanji Kitetsu!" Tashigi squeals, picking Sanji up and pressing him to her chest in a hug. From there Sanji catches a glimpse of her own sword, emerald green hilt and jade green sheath, both with stunning details of white and gold.
"I thought I'd never see you again. It must've been hard for you, being used by the infamous Roronoa Zoro like that. Oh I felt so guilty sending you off with him that day! But no more! You're back in good hands!"
Normally Sanji would take the time to enjoy the rare feeling of soft breasts against his sheath, but Tashigi is already tucking him into her backpack.
Wait, no! Tashigi-chan! Sanji yelps and is not surprised to find that she can't hear him either. He's pledged after all, and he intends on keeping his pledge until he hears with his own (figurative) ears that the grass head idiot doesn't want him anymore.
But wait, the human can't hear him, but he's sure the sword can. He heard her speak just now. (It sounded like a her.)
Uhm... Sorry to bother you, my sweetheart-
Shigure. The voice is sweet. The tone dismissive.
Shigure-chan. Would it be possible for you to translate for me?... I'm having a bit of trouble getting through to your master here.
There's a pause.
What did you want to say?
I'm actually waiting for my owner to come back, so if she could please just leave me there on the table-
Ta-chan, the blade wanted me to tell you that he's crying tears of joy and wants to thank you for saving him from hell. He said you have no idea what he suffered through, and he's so glad to be back on the side of Justice!
That little sh-... lady. That crafty little lady. Even Usopp might be able to learn a thing or two from this little lia- um... darling. This smart little darling.
"Oh isn't that wonderful to hear, Shigure! Let's give him a good cleaning when we get back to the ship, and we can find him a worthy master from the new recruits." Tashigi makes her way out of the restaurant, a smile tainting her voice.
Are you sure this is a good idea? I'm sure you've heard that I'm cursed. It might be in your master's best interest to-
Ta-chan, he says he likes bubble baths.
"Does he? Hmm... I thought it was bad for blades to be submerged in water. Maybe cursed blades are different?"
Maybe. The green blade answers sweetly.
What kind of blade in their right mind would like BUBBLE BATHS? You trying to kill me?
Just to let you know there are other ways to protect Ta-chan from your curse. She warns, her sweet voice turning icy cold.
So here we are, the start of Alabasta.
